Backyard Amusements

We hired Backyard Amusements for a carnival at our Temple. We had one bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course, popcorn machine, and cotton candy machine.
We had a good experience with them from the start - despite booking a little late in the game for us, they had what we needed available and ready for our carnival. They were quick to get us a quote and while they were a little pricier than other places we looked at YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! As usual, it was well worth it!
On the morning of the carnival they arrived earlier than expected, which was very promising since these things take time to set up! They got right to work and were flexible in helping us decide what to put where. They were also very patient as I was running around like crazy and was sometimes hard to find. Both the staff members they sent were kind, polite, and professional.
The equipment worked perfectly and we had no issues with the inflatables or concessions. They even accommodated us not knowing if a bounce house would be inside or outside. Great to work with from start to finish.

Our organization has used Backyard Amusements for the last 7 years. They are our go to amusement company! Whether our organization is hosting a small gathering or entertaining thousands; Backyard Amusements is capable. The office staff and attendants are always professional and courteous. The equipment is clean and functional. These are important qualities when working with children and Backyard delivers quality consistently!

This is my second time using Backyard Amusements LLC. I have the utmost respect and give them 5 STARS!!! They are flexible on the fly and willing to go the extra mile. This past week I had a sudden change and needed to replace two entertainment items and thought we were going to have major problems. I talked with one of the business owners on both Saturday and Sunday and was reassured that they would do whatever it took to make my event a success. They did it! We had moon bounces, dunk tanks, train, cotton candy machine, game truck and more! The staff who come out with the equipment are top notch and very friendly and open to making the experience the best for the customer. Suffice it to say, I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again.

These guys are great. Chris and Mike where whom we dealt with most and couldn;t be nicer. No issues in scheduling, cost was fair and they were so helpful on the day of our event. I highly recommend them.

My child had a blast with his friends on the gaming truck. Employees were professional and accommodating. We will definitely book with them again!

Fantastic customer service, and prompt drop-off and pickup times!! We have used them the last 2 years for our school field day!

The Minnie Mouse bouncy castle was a BIG hit at the party. It was more beautiful in person than in pics. Delivery came around 1 - a little later than expected as the instructions were delivery could be as early as 8:30am. Pick up was around 8pm but that was only after we begged the driver to make us the last pick up as pick up was scheduled for 7. Not much play time from 1-7. that's my only complaint that pick up time could have been later - even if they offer an extended time fee especially for summer months where it gets dark later. At 7 pm it is still very bright outside and the party was still going on. Also please have the pick up drivers contact the person who made the arrangements when they come to pick up. Imagine my surprise when I came out side and saw the item being wheeled away - I had no idea they were there. Over all great experience except those few issues, good item, good service.

Backyard Amusements made my son's 13th birthday a hit! The gentleman who operated the game truck along with the young man who assisted were very nice and courteous. All of the children had a blast and the other parents thought that it was such a cool idea. I would definitely do this again based on the family owned business vibe that the operator gives. They were on time, actually early and ensured that everything was safely set up for the children.

My experience w/Backyard Amusements was extremely favorable. Their prices are very good; the owner and staff are very professional and pleasant to work with (which is a big deal for me & hard to find these days). They are very responsive and they do what they say, when they say it. The owner provided me with all the information and requirements for payment and pickup up front so there were no surprises. If anyone ever has a bad experience w/Backyard Amusements, I'd urge you to contact the owner. He was fabulous...and I'm a military--it takes a lot to impress me! They will be my amusement POC for the rest of my time in the NCR!

5 - Star Service!!!
I hired Backyard Amusements for my son's 5th birthday party this past weekend and I am happy to say that I am a satisfied customer. I contacted the company last month for a quote and the gentleman that I spoke with was extremely friendly and was eager to assist me. He informed me of their policies and processed my deposit with no problem.
The day of my event, they arrived on-time and the gentlemen were very polite. They set up all of the equipment very quickly, asked if I had any questions and confirmed the pick-up time. The kids loved the slide and the basketball inflatable and they both were a huge it! Just as promised, the guys returned when they said they would and removed the equipment just as quickly as they set up.
I was very pleased with my experience from beginning to end and I will be a returning customer! Thank you for providing GREAT service!

Review: I used the company that I have listed. We rented a water slide, and a moon bounce for my sons birthday party on Aug. 17 2013. The contract stated that they would remove the items at 8pm. They came at 7:24 pm that day and started removing the items. We had also rented 25 chairs from them. At 10:54 pm that same evening they called me, waking me up saying that they were missing 10 chairs. I got out of bed and went down stairs to confirm that the chairs were not here. I told him the chairs were not here and why didn't they count them before they left.Desired Settlement: Would like a 1/2 of money returned.
