I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It doesn't sound like Sals is taking responsibility and expects me to pay more Regards, [redacted] ***

Consumer sent the following response:This is in response to Sals response about my furnaceSals has no customer service skills and began the conversation in defense rather than listening to this customer's complaintHe was also talking down to me instead of talking to meTherefore, nothing got resolved because I hung up on himI have had two technicians from two different companies assess my furnace and both told me my furnace was tampered with and fixed the part that was tampered withNot only did I lose money to Sals heating and cooling claiming to clean a furnace which was never cleaned but I had to pay these two companies for work that I believe was done intentionally to get me to purchase a furnace from SalsThat same day Sals came out to fix my furnace, the gas company came out to check for suspected gas leak that Sals Tech said was coming from my furnaceIt was then a red flag came up and the gas company showed me that my furnace was never cleanedThe gas company technician suggested that I get a second opinion, which I did the very next dayFirst one technician showed me what was tampered with and the second technician came out to clean my furnace then showed me where there was another part of the furnace that was tampered withNeither companies knew that Sals had been out to my home prior and both suspected someone tampered with my furnace with the intention of it not workingFurnace has been working fine the very next day since Sals left my homeThe company is a rip off and the owner has no intention of repaying customers because he is no different from his conning technicians who are all after your moneyWell I hope others would check with the Revdex.com to get the full report before falling a victim like I did

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We have been in contact with Mr*** several times and explained what is happening regarding his service chargesI have attached a copy of the service ticket where Mr*** signed separate times acknowledging he understood the chargesWe charge $for a permit fee for installation of a hot water tankThe permit is required by the stateThe warranty company does not cover the cost of the permitThis permit fee includes administrative costs on top of what the city charges for a permitIf the warranty company reimburses us, we will reimburse Mr*** $(the cost of the initial service call of $MINUS the cost of the permit $55.00)Mr*** is responsible for the permit fee. We explained the process to Mr*** several times and he signed the service ticket multiple times showing he understood what was happening regarding charges and the warranty companyTherefore, we will be in contact with Mr*** once we hear back from the warranty companyIf they cover the installation of the warranty hot water heater, he will receive his check in the amount $in 4-weeksIf they do not, he will owe us $for the permit fee. Since the Revdex.com does not investigate the full validity of their consumer complaints, we will provide the truthful details on the following matter. After attempting to discuss this by phone with Ms***, I felt it may be best to just write the responseI have discussed this complaint with
***, my service tech, who was at your home almost two hoursWe performed a combustion analyzation test and it failed severely at ppmI asked you if the gas company performed this test and you said yes, he was walking around my home doing this.It was clear that a combustion test was not doneThis may be a gas leak testWe were called there for a "red tag" because it was unsafe to operate and is still unsafe to operateOnly the burners and pilot were cleaned per the signed invoice NOT the entire furnace as we were not called for that reasonAfter finally getting the year old furnace running, it failed the combustion test at ppmNOT SAFEThe furnace needs replacedThe gas company may have said we did not clean the furnace, but we only cleaned the burners and pilot to get it runningWe have no way of knowing what the other company found as no invoices are provided with your complaintAlso, verbal from the gas company saying we did not clean the entire furnace is partially true as we only cleaned the components above noted on the signed service ticketA full refund is not justified andI will be more than happy to credit the price of the service call off a new piece of equipment that should be purchased for health and safety reasonsWe did what we mere asked on this service call for you and the service was performed. Thank you, *** *** President & CEO Sal's Heating and Cooling, Inc

After much research, we finally were able to find the information and MAYBE piece together the puzzle. It appears that Ms*** / *** purchased a used vehicle from us in April which is nearly years ago. The vehicle has been in our shop one time for a headlight replacement
which was in January of (a little over a year ago). That is the only time that we have heard from Ms*** / *** since she purchased the vehicle. As you will notice, it was nearly years from the time she bought the vehicle until she returned here for any reason, which was a headlight replacement which she may be upset about because it was not covered under any type of warranty, especially since it was a used vehicle and it was nearly years after she purchased the vehicle. So as to her reason for being disgruntled, nobody here has any idea what the problem is with this situation. Moving forward, In August of (year and months after Ms*** / *** purchased her used vehicle), We did lease a Nissan Rogue to a *** *** who resided at the same address as Ms*** / *** at with that transaction, there was no trade in involved. I can only assume that Ms*** / *** was still driving her used vehicle that she purchased from us nearly a year and a half earlier. I am uncertain of the relationship of these two people, whether it be Husband / Wife or whatever it may be, nor does it really matter with regard to this situation. On paper, it would seem as though Ms*** / *** was pleased with her April purchase from Mike Barney Nissan, enough so that she influenced Mr*** *** to come here and lease his Nissan Rogue from us. This particular vehicle (Nissan Rogue) has been into our shop different times (Feb 2017, June and Dec 2017) for routine maintenance without any additional problems with EITHER vehicle ever being mentioned. As for any of the other situations that she states happened, this is the first I have heard any of it, and she originally did business here nearly years ago, AND referred another customer to us nearly a year and a half after her original purchase. As for her credit situation, Mike Barney Nissan does thousands of transactions involving the securing of financing for customers each year and NEVER ONE TIME have we compromised any of our customers privacy, security or credit information. So I would dare say that any credit issues that Ms*** / *** may or may not have, would be 100% of her own doing. A far as any of her other statements regarding any personal interactions with anybody here at our Dealership, nothing has EVER been brought up or even mentioned to anybody within our organization until now. If something did happen here that made Ms*** / *** uncomfortable, then on behalf of our entire organization, I apologize. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this situation and at this time, I will consider this case closed

*** ***, I was completely satisfied with my response that was in no way a lecture just the facts and we have more to add since this complaint was filedYou did call the emergency service line after the cleaning that was performed during business hours with NO HOT WATER AGAINWe offered to come out but because it was emergency service and you and we were unclear what the actual cause was elected to wait until during the week to save money which is fineThis unit was years old and never maintained, no cleaning or maintenance at all by our companyThe Groupon is clear on what it is for and you were able to use it on the return visit because it was indeed labor to clean this filthy neglected unitThe burners and all mechanicals needed to be gone over and this is separate service from flushing the units pipes for water flow and the removal of calcium depositsNobody forced you to buy the Groupon, nobody forced you to pay for it and there certainly are many other companies that can provide these services for you in the area you reside inYou speak of the uneducated and are making libelous accusations that I service them differently and owning companies surely does not make anyone more educated or given an advantage to pursue with what you mentioned but I assure you, I will protect my company from your claims and spare no expense and I may have four companies when the dust settlesThis is not Bait and switch, we returned and fixed your unit with all our education and knowledge, personally I think you owe us an apology but I won’t hold my breathGet your yearly flushing’s and clean and checks and you won’t have these issuesI hope after these services you have a little better education on how tankless water heaters workI do believe the repairs are complete and everything has been taken care of with no malfunctions caused by Sal’s Heating Cooling Plumbing AND SewerThanks for the business but not the misunderstanding Have a nice daySal

*** *** Here is my response on *** *** and it will be the same on the Revdex.comPlease forward the permit fee and we will remove you from collections and honor the warranties once paid. Member, I will explain again my positionPermits are additional when one is required
and is required in almost every cityIt must be a separate charge because even though there is one State license, every city has their own set of rules and it is unknown to us what that cost is from time to time and why we can not collect it in some cases at the end of the projectIf we wrote paid in full for the air conditioner you were informed permits were additional and the reason it was less than the original $was because it ended up costing less at $We don't get rich from this we charge face value in most casesBefore we sent you the invoice and to collections I listened to the recorded between us to make sure we did what we discussedI never used the word hate and it was very straight forward and was not heatedThe permit cost if needed is printed on the contract and for some reason customers think because they purchase a very expensive AC unit we should give the cost of the permit as a bonusIt is ridiculousWe pulled a permit to protect you and usIt needs to be paid for and I am not sure why you think you shouldn'tYour right we are a great company and do great work but this permit thing is clouding your visionWe charge everyone a permit fee simple as thatNot my rules we tried to make it a flat fee but then people call to get prices from their city and oh boy when it was a buck less here comes the problemsSo we charge face value in most casesPlease pay the bill and let's move on shall we? Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I find it hard to accept that someone else working on the boiler a year ago would cause it to be "destroyed" and start leaking gas now I also find it hard to believe that the first technician that replaced the thermostat would not have looked at the boiler and that if they had looked at the boiler, would not have noticed this apparently obvious damage. And I did NOT receive a response from *** after my initial call or subsequent follow up, which seems to be the m.obased on other complaints to Revdex.com I don't anticipate getting a satisfactory response from the company and will most likely have to resort to simply never using the company again and actively cautioning everyone I know from using them But I guess they'll still have my $or whatever so maybe they don't care.Regards,

Good AfternoonPermits are public record, however for convenience purposes, I have attached our copiesThank you

Response: Since the Revdex.com does not investigate the full validity of their consumer complaints, we will provide the truthful details on the following matter. The issue with MsC***s unit was an intermittent issueWe went out and addressed the issues that were present when we were thereThe unit was operational at the time of our departurehave attached the service tickets where MsC*** signed that she was satisfied with our servicesWe contacted MsC*** upon learning of her complaintWe offered to send a senior tech out to look over her system and see if he could find what was causing this intermittent issueMsC*** advised that she already had her furnace fixed by the company that installed it. Seeing MsC***s unit has been serviced by another company and they made repairs, we are unable to provide additional services to rectify the issueIt is unfortunate that we were unable to satisfy MsC***s needs, however, the unit was operational when we left and therefore we are unable to reimburse any money. RE: Complaint No*** to Revdex.com Dear Nichole, This letter will serve as the written response to your complaint dated 2/7/17. Response: Since the Revdex.com does not investigate the full validity of their consumer complaints, we will provide the truthful details on the following matter. MsC*** admits to signing all the service tickets stating she understood the charges and was satisfied with the completion of workWe cannot be faulted that MsC*** signed something without reading it or understanding what she was signingThe unit had an intermittent issueEach time we were out, the unit was operational when we left and the issues present upon our arrival were addressed and correctedMsC*** decided to contact the original installation company and have their recommended repairs made. Seeing MsC***'s unit has been serviced by another company and they made repairs, we are unable to provide additional services to rectify the issueit is unfortunate that we were unable to satisfy MsC***'s needs, however, the unit was operational when we left and therefore we are unable to reimburse any money. This letter will serve as the written response to your complaint dated 11/12/15. Response: Since the Revdex.com does not investigate the full validity of their consumer complaints, we will provide the truthful details on the following matter. After reading the Complaint, the two week gap in
service concerns meEspecially with a gas leak. On 10/5/one of our senior service technicians was dispatched to Mr***'s rental property for a "no heat" boiler callHe found a bad thermostat and replaced it with a new modelAt no time did he touch the gas valve or the boiler while he was there as his diagnosis was the bad thermostatOn 10/20/we again received a request for service for "no heat" to the boilerOur office dispatched a service technician to Mr***'s rental property to diagnoseAfter diagnosis, our service technician found that the gas company had shut off the gas service due to a cracked gas valve on the boilerOur technician took pictures of the gas valve and sent them to Mr***He then replaced the gas valve and thermocouple on the boilerThe tenant residing at the property had mentioned that the previous tenant prior to her had also tried to do repairs to the boilerWe are confident that neither of our service technicians would ever bang on a gas valve with a hammer, as was stated by the homeownerThis is not a practice performed by our certified technicians and that was explained to Mr***. I apologize for what Mr*** feels as a lack of communication*** stated he did contact Mr*** and relayed our findings. We are unable to give a refund as our investigation resulted in information being relayed to us that another party had worked on the boiler previously and the initial service technician did not work on nor touch the gas valve or boiler to cause the damageWe are a professional highly qualified service company and *** was correct when he informed this homeowner this practice never happened on your service visit and would never be toleratedThank you for the business and I hope the matter is closed. Thank you, *** *** President & CEO Sal's Heating and Cooling, Inc. *** ***

To say it will eventually break it just your way to try and cover up the fact that your tech screwed upOf course it will eventually breakEverything eventually doesWhat I know is the other company fixed it for around $If that saves me from having to buy a new heat pump for even one year it was well worth itYour man said the compressor was bad and the only fix was to replace the compressor or the entire heat pumpNeither of which is trueYou were wrong about that and now to cover you butts your accusing another reputable company of performing an improper repair which there was nothing to be gained by him doing thatI was already resigned to the idea that my wife and I were going to have to buy a new heat pumpHe wasn't there to try to fix the current oneHe was there to give me an estimate on a new onehe didn't even charge me for the service call since he was already there to give me an estimate on a new oneHe just charged me for the capacitor and the laborEven now as you try to blame somebody else for an improper repair you can't even be consistent in your lie to cover up your mistakeFirst you accused *** for putting in the wrong size capacitorNow your saying it is the wiring that is badYet my heat pump is working just fine as it has for the last month since *** fixed it, and it has been running a lotHow long does it have to go without it needing to be repaired before your willing to come clean and say your tech screwed upAnother month? another months? I am askingAt what point are you willing to admit your mistake? My guess is there is no time frame because you know your wrong and you just want it to go awayBut here is the thingCompanies like yours gives all other companies a bad nameEveryone makes mistakes, but every time a business tries to cover it up as opposed to doing the right thing it just makes things worseThat's what your company is doingMaking things worseAnother example of how businesses can't be trustedThey need government oversight and added regulations cause all your trying to do is screw the little guy which is me You do yourself, your company, and your industry a disserviceShame on youI know better then to believe that all companies are like yoursThere are a lot of good, reputable companies, and I will do everything in my power to speak the truth about yours as loud and as often as I can to anyone and everyone who will listen.I even cause people not go with another company then yours it will have been well worth itThen maybe they will each convince people and so onYou can ignore me or dismiss me but I will not go away quietly
