Bella Vita Lift Reviews (81)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]
I have received the refund in the bank. The problem is that I only have one of the products, the others I gave away. So unless they want that one product back in which I paid a little over $24 for and the shipping and handling of the products which were all sent together and I got charged separate shipping and handling that is all I can do.

As a courtesy we will issue a full refund back to the customer in good faith that the products will be returned back to us. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund of 77.93 to reflect and the return address is below.

To Whom It May Concern, Per recorded phone call and notes on Ms. [redacted]'s account, it was stated that Ms. [redacted] did already dispute the charge of $98.41 with her financial institution. Because the dispute is already filed, we are unable to issue a full refund to avoid multiple credits on the...

same transaction. Any further information regarding the charge will be sent to directly to the financial institution. Thank you and have a nice day.

I was sent a bottle of the Bella Vita Lift although I had not requested it. It was sent in addition to the facial serum which I had requested. I developed a skin allergy to the serum. The facial serrum had a 30 day free trial but the BVL on had a 14 day trial. When I called to cancel, they had already charged me $97 for something I had not ordered and had an allergic reaction to. I volunteered to send pictures of my face but they did not want them. [redacted] may think they are a good company but they are very sneaky I would be more likely to tell people NOT to use their product due to this experience.

Per system records, the complainant did agree to a partial refund of $48.70 on the charge of $97.41 that was billed on June 10, 2016 and the complainant did also verbally agree to returning two products to receive an additional refund of $98.41 and $97.41. As of today, July 5, 2016 we have yet to...

receive the returned products. As a courtesy and in good faith that a total of three products will be returned back to us, we will issue a refund of $98.41, $97.41 and $48.71. Please allow 7-10 business days for that refund to reflect and the return address is below.Bellavita

What a SCAM!!! They offer you a FREE sample, just pay shipping except buried in the fine print is that it's actually only a 14 day trial and after that they will charge you almost $200 for their product that does absolutely nothing. AT least not more than a $10 cream from the drug store would do. What a scam. It may be legal but it's certainly unethical. And it takes them 30 days to refund your money.

It would be appreciated if any and all products that the customer currently has is returned to the address below.

Review: I supposedly signed up for a 14 day trial of lifting serum & overnight lifting serum. I was not sent an email informing me I was in a 14 day trial & no information came in the box with the serum. They charged my card 2 amounts of $97 & $98 10 days after receiving the product. The first time I called, I spoke with [redacted], they canceled my unstated "membership" & said there was nothing they could do about the charges. I finally tried the product, for which it made me horribly breakout in rash & pimples. I called them back & was then told they can only refund me half of the amounts. I told them it was false advertising not to include any information in the box about this "trial" & that I was charged under the 14 days, & the product made me breakout. They refused to issue me a full refund. Their product was shoddy, they charged me before the 14 days & there was no indication I was going to be charged. Fraudulous & bad customer service!!! I want my full refund!!Desired Settlement: I want the full refund of the $97.41 & $98.41 that they scammed from me !

Review: 1/11/ 2016 I had ordered 3 sample beauty products online and was charged 4.95, 24.95 on 1/13, and 3.95 on 1/14respectively. The website was confusing as it automatically went to another screen after clicking on the first order causing me to think I had not requested it so I clicked it again, then read something different on another product so I requested that one. in the end it did not provide confirmation of my order and neither did I see where it wanted me to call them in case of non-receipt in 3-4 days. I never received the samples.

1/31/16 I checked my account and noted that I was charged on 1/29/16 $98.41 for Bellaantiage and $$97.41 for BVLift. I immediately contacted Bella Lift at [redacted] and spoke with [redacted] who advised he canceled the future orders and provided 3 confirmation numbers. He advised that I should have contacted them after the 3 days of non-receipt so they could resend. by now the 14 days have passed and he could not return my money that was debited out of my card. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he stated everything had been resolved and hung up on me. I called again and spoke with [redacted] who gave the same information and hung up on me again. Looking on the dates when the funds were pulled, the company is not even giving the so called 14 day trial period before they are paying themselves for the auto shipment. This is very deceptive.Desired Settlement: I wish to have ALL my money refunded (credited back to my account) as I never received any product whatsoever to even try it much less use it.

Their advertising is very deceptive and needs to be modified. A legitimate business would have had procedures in place to allow customers to speak with a manager to come up with an appropriate resolution. Their sales staff should not have to hang up on people and pretend nothing has occurred.

Per system records and tracking number there was an error with the shipping of the products and they were never delivered. As a courtesy a refund of $98.41, $97.41, $24.95, $3.95 and $4.95 has been issued back. Please allow 7-10 business days for that refund to reflect.

Regards,

Review: I ordered the bella vita [redacted] and overnight [redacted] on a free trial basis. I paid $1 for each product plus shipping. I called within the 14 days free trial, which was not clearly stated in advertisement. when I called and asked to cancel my subscription, I was instructed to return my free trial or pay for it! the man I spoke to was quite rude and said that they could have given me a discount, blah, blah, blah, but that I had asked to cancel so return the product.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and I would like Revdex.com to know that this is a non ethical advertisement.

Review: I placed an order for a 14 day trial on Oct. 31, 2014. I received my product on November 6, 2014 and called to cancel on November 15, 2014. They charged my account for the product. When I called to inquire they told me the 14 day trial period began when I placed the order. I then requested a RMA # so I could return the product. The terms and conditions clearly states under the "Trial Offer Details" that the product is covered by a 30 day money back return guarantee. All I have to do is call within 30 days of receipt; return the jar with my return number - even if it is empty. I have called numerous times only to be hung up on. They state that they cannot accept a product that has been opened. That is clearly not what is stated in their terms and conditions and when I inquire as to how they can guarantee a product that hasn't been opened they disconnect my call.Desired Settlement: I want the money that was debited from my account returned. I will be more than happy to return the unused product if they will give me an RMA #.

Review: On 12-4-15 I was offered a free trial of an anti-aging face serum on a pop-up add. All I had to pay for was $3.95 p&h - there was NO fine print. I thought I requested 1 bottle of "Instant Lift" & received 2 (Pro Collagen Serum & Instant Lift) in the same box on 12-9-15. There was no invoice inside, only a brochure about more products. When I tried to use the Instant Lift, the pump wouldn't work. Upon opening the top, I saw there was no tube attached to the inside pump. I opened the other bottle to find the same problem. So I used a qtip to apply the Instant Lift and the next day, broke out with a very large and painful cyst pimple on my left cheek. Obviously I cannot use their products on my face! On 12-18-15 (today) I saw a charge on my checking account (I used my MC debit card for the p&h) for $98.41 still pending. It was listed as [redacted] and I immediately called the bank to report a false charge and cancel my card - thinking my number was stolen. When I reviewed the charge for p&h, I realized there were 2 charges - $3-95 & $4.95 (even though I only requested 1, AND they arrived in the same box). I also realized where the charge of $98.41 came from and called the customer service # to request a refund. I tried to explain to [redacted] (the rep) the charge was NOT authorized and I had ONLY requested 1 bottle of a trial sample offer. He was adamant that they would NOT refund the $, only cancel my account (cancellation code he gave me is [redacted]). And when I requested to speak to a supervisor, he put me on hold (this was after arguing with me for 5-10 mins). He then came back on the line and said, "Ma'am I have told you how wonderful our products are and I'm sorry we weren't able to reach a resolution," (or something to that effect) and promptly hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the $98.41 that was not authorized. I also would like a refund for the $4.95 p&h charge as it was also not authorized. However just the $98.41 would suffice. Unfortunately, since my card is now cancelled it would have to be refunded to a different card or account number, but that is acceptable. I think they should change their advertisement to inform people of the impending charge within 14 days of the trial, and it should NOT be called "free." They really should be more helpful and professional with their customer service.

Review: Ordered a BellaVita Lift product through a PCH promotion I as a rule don't do this, however a friend saw the product and wanted it as a birthday present . Ordered product on 11/28/2015, Oder#[redacted],Ref. # [redacted].

On 1/5/2016 noticed a $77.00 withdrawal from account. After several attempts and finally getting a call back from BellaVita, I explained the problem and only got a continued sales pitch.

Informed the rep that I didn't want the product and didn't want any more of the product and wanted one to cancel the account and a refund. The rep kept trying to use a sales pitch and I repeatedly stated no and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. The rep said they didn't have one and are told to resolve their own issue. I started I wanted a refund individual gave me a cancellation number and stated they didn't give refunds and hung on me.

This type of behavior is unacceptable to me and I want people to know how they treat their customers. I've worked in retail and customer service and have never been treated like this.Desired Settlement: A Refund of the $77.00 charge taken out of my account and no further contact, email, or phone call from BellaVita.

Review: I did not see the small print about auto-shipping on this product. It came up in a window as a $ 4.95 trial offer, and I thought, why not?Big mistake. $ 4.95 was the shipping and handling - they are sending 2 shipments a month and AFTER the S&H, the price is $ 98.41, charged to my credit card. I have called this company and asked them to stop. They said OK. I received another one yesterday. I have called my credit card company. I have now been sent 3 of these and have not opened any of them.Desired Settlement: I would like the auto-shipping to stop and I would like to return all(currently 3) unopened shipments and be refunded $ 310.08 which is what has been charged to my credit card so far.

Business

Response:

To whom it may concern, Per system records, Dale called in on 5/28/2015 at 12:55 pm and spoke with a customer service representative by the name of Sylvia. All the notes say is that the customer admitted to not knowing about the auto-shipment policy and that she has not gotten any new shipments and then the customer disconnected the phone call. The CSR did put a stop on the subscription AS OF 5/28/2015. Per tracking numbers on all orders, the products did get delivered to the correct address. We understand your frustration in this matter. We issued three full refunds of $98.41 in good faith that the customer will return the products. RMA numbers were also issued and sent to the customers personal email address. All instructions on how to return are in those emails. If the customer has any more questions, they can contact us directly at [email protected] or by calling (866) 887-2978. The refunds that were submitted will take 3-5 business days to reflect on to the bank statement.

Review: Stop membership that I did not seek.Desired Settlement: Refund shipping and handling charges.

Regards,

Review: My wife had me order one skin cream on line for what I thought was just shipping costs, I think it was $3.95. I did not order a second cream and then I was charged $4.95 for the second cream. So I figured well for $10 she would get to try both samples, a good deal. I thought that was the extent of the payment I owed. I later learned that these fees were only the shipping charges and then Bella Vita billed my credit card . So the Bella Vita online order automatically gave me a second order which my wife didn't want. Yet I was billed for a full order of two products BELLAVITALIFT for $97.41 and BELLAVITA for $98.41. Once I saw the charges on my credit card I call the company which I found on the original shipping charges with my bank. The customer service person was rude and said that the info for the ongoing shipments were plainly on the offer. I DISAGREE. I did not know that I was signing up for a monthly shipment of your product. Nor did I see anything on the offer about an ongoing contract. I DID NOT KNOW I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED THIS MUCH MONEY AND SIGN UP FOR A MONTHLY SHIPMENT OF THIS product. Needless to say I canceled any further payments, and now I have to close my account down with my bank because I don't trust what you'll do in the future. I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND OF THE money from this full payment a total of $195.82. This was a tricky way of taking money from me and my wife. We really needed that money and now we are out all this money. If you are a reputable company you will refund all of my money. What kind of people are you that you use such tactics to turn a profit? I am very disappointed in your company.

Business

Response:

To Whom It May Concern, We would be more than happy to take a look to see if there is something that we can do on our end for Mr. [redacted] A [redacted]. However, the information that was provided on this complaint did not match an existing subscription in the Bellavita system. Please provide the order confirmation number or the email address that was used to place the order so we can locate the subscription and come to a fair agreement. Thank you and have a great day.

Review: Ordered product on a free trial basis. Called on 14th day, company back dated my order date and ripped me off for over $300.00. Paid for shipping and handling only. for 3 items, only two came. Company will not even reimburse me for third product.Desired Settlement: That this company takes a class in honest practices. I want my money back.

Review: I didn't get the product but a week ago and a charge came up on my bank account, I thought I already paid on January 17 and 18. I called a representative and was informed the charge was for the product that I have. I misunderstood the terms and was told the 14 day trial started when the product was shipped, like I said I got this a week ago. They offered a 50 percent refund I took it because there is nothing more I could do. I will NOT ever order from this company and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this crooked company.Desired Settlement: The rest of my refund

Business

Response:

Per recorded phone call, it was agreed by ourselves and the customer that a 50% partial refund would be issued to avoid any further disputes. As a courtesy we will issue another partial refund of $48.71 in good faith that all products will be returned back to us. Please allow 7-10 business days for that refund to reflect and the return address is below.

Review: I have been shipped products I did not order. I did order a sample of the product and read the order form carefully. I did not find any info that I would receive additional products with automatic billing. My account has been charged 98.41 twice. I returned the first package and have not received a refund. I have called the customer service number only to be put in a que never to be answered or called back. I cannot find a way on their website to cancel my account.Desired Settlement: I want my account cancelled and I want the 196.82 credited back to my credit card. This company's practice needs to be stopped.

Business

Response:

As a courtesy we will issue two full refunds of $98.41 totaling $196.82 in good faith that the two unwanted products are confirmed returned back to us. Please allow 7-10 business days for that refund to reflect and the return address is below. Bellavita

Review: This company automatically shipped facial cream without any notification what so everor receipt of any kind to the tune of almost 200.00 a month. They just snuck it onto my charge card very sneeky. I want. to return all of the bottles sent automaticallyand I want the charges dismissed. While filing a complaint with the Revdex.com I saw additional complaints from others that have been scammed.Desired Settlement: please refund the charges placed against my charge card.
