Best Interstate Moving and Storage Reviews (%countItem)

This company promises customers moving services they cannot deliver. And even worse, they don't let the customer know. I was scheduled to move on Sunday, had paid my deposit and even had contact with customer service a month prior to confirm. On the Friday before I was supposed to move I called to find out when they would arrive on Sunday and was told I would get a call from the mover on Saturday with the exact time window. By 4:00 pm on Saturday I still hadn't heard from them so I called again and was told they could not find a mover to take the job. Not only did they totally flake on me, but they didn't even let me know until I called them the evening before I had to move from CA to FL. That is no way to run a business!

This horrible moving company refuses to put me in touch with my account rep, provide any status update on my belongings and return my communications.
I booked Best Interstate Moving and Storage for my belongings to be delivered from Seattle to Austin on 5/23/18. It's now 7/7/18 and they have no absolutely no idea where or when I will receive my entire life which is being shipped. For almost six weeks, I have been sleeping on an air mattress with no stuff and paying for an empty apartment. The agreement was that my things would be delivered within 21 days.

The amount of time I have spent trying to track down my terrible account rep, ***, talk to their no-help customer service line, and reschedule work trips due to their behavior has caused unnecessary stress, work issues, time and additional expense for me to buy items in the interim while Best Interstate (which I recommend they rebrand as "WORST" Interstate) try to figure where my movers are - it's ridiculous!!

On Tuesday, 6/26 (the one and only time *** called me back) it was a lie. He said my things were being loaded on the moving truck in Seattle at that he PROMISED to call me back on 6/28 to confirm which day over the weekend it would be delivered. I received no callback as promised on 6/28 and had no idea if I should be available to receive delivery that weekend. This forced me to cancel a work trip and place my life on hold once again. He never returned any emails or calls to let me know either way.

This company claims to work in logistics and the fact that they have NO IDEA where my stuff is, when it will leave Seattle and any type of time frame I should expect is enough for me to pursue legal action. It's a shame it takes legal action to finally get a callback from ***'s supervisor yesterday right after I notified them via email. She said my things still have not let Seattle by the way...

Desired Outcome

This is regarding my Order No:XXXXX for a total of $2,355.10 which I expect a FULL refund, a callback of the EXACT time I should expect my stuff and that it happen within the next four business days. To date, I paid a deposit of $706.53 (credit card) and for pickup $824.29(cashier's check), totaling $1,530.82. To confirm, I am requesting a full refund of these charges and refuse to pay the additional payment upon delivery.

Ms. came into an agreement with Best Interstate Moving LLC to facilitate her relocation from Washington to Texas. Please note, Best Interstate Moving and Storage is a licensed interstate broker and not a motor carrier authorized by the Federal Government to transport your household goods. Because of such, we coordinate and arrange for an authorized household goods motor carrier to perform the transportation services. Thus, the job was contracted to Weststar Relocation.

Ms. informed our office her preferred dates to move were May 21 thru May XX XXXX. Weststar Relocation notified our office the customer household goods would be loaded and transported on May 22nd.

The distance of the move was approximately 2,119 miles. Per Department of Transportation, the driver can only travel 500 miles per day. In addition, regulations mandate the movers have up to 21 business days excluding weekends and holidays to deliver the household goods from the first date available for delivery; as noted on the Interstate Bill of Lading signed at pick up. Based on the mileage of 2,119, the first day the movers could have delivered Ms. household goods was June 28th. Thus, providing the movers 21 business days from this date.

As of July 10th, Weststar Relocation has notified our office of the intent to deliver tomorrow, July 11th. Due to not being delivered within the allotted time frame, the movers have agreed to provide the maximum daily allowance of $30.00 per day for each day past the 21 business days. Weststar has compensated $210 for 7 days past the 21 business days and Best Interstate has agreed to add an additional $300 for the inconvenience.

While Best Interstate Moving + Storage is not directly responsible for the delay of delivery, management has been in communication with Ms. and advised she will receive a good faith gesture compensation for the overall inconvenience.

We consider this matter resolved.

DON'T DO IT! A horrific experience. This is a moving broker that sets your move up with another moving company. You might get lucky and get a good company - hence some online reviews are positive. But, this booking company is literally worthless. They are responsive and helpful until you pay them the booking fee and then they're beyond worthless. You're better off doing more up front leg work and finding your own movers to book directly. The moving co. I got held my items hostage demanding thousands more for the return of my items. After days of "hostage negotiations," they delivered and unloaded my items at midnight! Missing items, broken items, and items that I paid extra for special packing came off the truck with literally no packing. With a simple google search, it was evident that my moving co. had just recently changed their name and changed names of their moving license because of problems with the Revdex.com.

Best Interstate failed to provide us with either an accurate estimate or with the final weight/price of our move for 3 weeks.
Best Interstate failed to provide us with an accurate estimate of our move. Whether this is due to deception or just a bad job on their part, I cannot say. They also were supposed to get us the final weight/price of the move within approximately 3 days of the move taking place. Despite calling them 10-15 times, they failed to provide us with either. As well, they promised numerous times that they would get the final price for us and call us back that day, but in each case failed to do so. My shipment is scheduled to arrive in the next 1-3 days and Best Interstate has completely failed to provide me with the required information to take delivery and know the final price.

Desired Outcome

While Best Interstate claims they are not responsible for this and nothing is their fault because they have been trying to contact the moving company they hired for the job, it is their job as our broker to provide the final price in a timely manner so I can make sure that I am not being ripped off on delivery. I am not paying them to simply try, and then pass *** off to someone else, it is incumbent upon them to provide this service, and they have consistently and reliably failed to do so, so I believe they should refund me a portion of their price as they have failed to meet their obligations.

Ms. came into an agreement with Best Interstate Moving and Storage to facilitate her relocation from California to Illinois. Based on the contract, Ms. agreed to transport an estimated weight of 3,080 pounds for an estimated total of $3,133.54. We received the signed contract via e-signature on May 15,2018; confirming she acknowledge and agreed with the said contract for services.

Included in the signed paperwork was the terms and conditions relating to move. Please note, the clause which reads, "Best Interstate Moving and Storage Guarantees our price NOT to exceed based on your item list below and the additional services elected". Should your inventory's estimated weight/volume increase at the time of pick up or should you require additional services, your price may change based on the agreed upon rate per pound and/or cubic feet. Simply stated, if the logistics of the move remain the same as originally booked with the customer is held to the estimate, however the moment there is a change, regardless of how minute it may be, the estimate is voided.

On the day of pick up, the movers surveyed there were items to be transported than what was originally estimated, thus voiding the original estimate and creating a new one. Ms. signed the paperwork at pick up accepting the new estimate. Thus, providing the revised weight of 3,675 pounds and an adjusted estimated balance due at delivery of $2,694.26. Once the truck was weighed, the official weight settled at 3,602 pounds with $464.50 worth of packing services. Therefore, the official balance due at delivery was $1,644.43.

As means to appease Ms. as our customer, Best Interstate Moving +Storage management has reached out to the customer and extended a good faith gesture of $350.00. Ms. has accepted this offer and considers the matter resolved.

helped me schedule a last minute move due to unforeseen circumstances and were able to provide me with a pick up an delivery that I needed. The men who picked up my furniture did a great job protecting the furniture. My initial estimate was lower than the actual price but some of this was due to underreporting of the number of boxes to be carried. The pricing is based on weight though, so it is fair. They weigh the truck before arriving, and you follow them to the weigh station after they load your stuff to see the final truck weight. The final weight determines what your remaining balance will actually be. Delivery was a little more hectic. I was given a verbal guarantee for delivery a few days later at my new home, however I found out that day as I was in my house that the carrier service dispatcher had sent the men a couple hundred miles away for another job instead and that it would be a few days. I contacted the broker service, who helped me resolve the issue. They were very polite. I also got in touch with the carrier directly to bark up the tree a bit more and was eventually told I would have my stuff delivered the next day between 2-6pm. After waiting all day the next day and talking with both companies again, I eventually was able to confirm they were intact going to deliver that day. My stuff was delivered, however the delivery truck did not arrive at my house until after 10pm. The delivery men themselves were very nice and did a good job, but I believe the actual carrier service was spreading their services pretty thin and overworking their employees. The brokerage service however, was helpful and nice the whole time. We did lose one box of kitchenware, however the broker refunded us the cost of the box without any hassle. Overall, I think the broker is an asset to help communication between the client and the carrier as well as ensuring the carrier services holds up to their end of the contract as originally agreed. They ultimately make sure the carrier service is held accountable for what they say they will do and help resolve any delays or disputes should they arise.

- we appreciate all the time and care that went into crafting this review. It will certainly help our future customers understand our business better! All the best in your new home!

I recently moved from Midland, Michigan to Dewey, Arizona. I called Best Interstate first and then panicked when I had to pay a down payment and canceled, they returned my money immediately. As it turned out the assistant to the owner Jaqlyn J. of Best interstate called me personally. They were the only company that would store my possessions for 30 days for FREE! I was thrilled as it ended up I didn't need the storage. The pick up and delivery went smoothly. We also shipped two cars and that was smooth sailing also. I had Jaqlyn's cell which i'm sure she regrets but she answered every question quickly with no delay. Refunds were processed quickly. I would recommend Best Interstate to anyone who would like an easy move.

Jaclyn is dedicated to ensuring customers feel comfortable every step of the way. Glad you enjoyed working with her. We are hopeful to work with you in the future!

Moved from Harrisburg, Pa to Charlotte, NC. The initial moving forecast over the phone went seamlessly. Communicated with a direct sales rep and covered all of my belongings and what materials would be necessary. The next process is working with customer service. Their main role is to broker the move with their contractors and customer. The pick-up went well as the movers showed up during the approximate time window and worked very hard.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the delivery. Customer service confirmed a Sunday delivery date. Still living in Harrisburg, it was imperative that I had all of my ducks in with work before I drove down to meet the team. Sunday arrives and I was then quoted a Monday delivery. Monday arrives and I was then quoted a Thursday delivery. By this time it was impossible for me to stay down there and had to travel back up for work obligations.

Long story short, I needed to deviate the logistical plan and have my belongings sent back up to Harrisburg. Their team did a great job re-routing my belongings while maintaining a reasonable quote. 2 hours before the delivery (which was on time) I spoke with customer service just to confirm the price one last time. The movers showed up on time but with a price $500 higher than what I had just confirmed. I voiced my disappointment with the company and reluctantly paid the additional funds. One positive note, I've had plenty of movers in my day and these guys were by far the best I've had. Extremely respectful with top notch output.

Overall, the moving business certainly isn't an easy one and this company is one of the highest regarded. Pros - very convenient inventory and quote process, responsive customer service, and great moving contractors. Cons - I wasted a 16 hour round trip because the delivery was moved from Sunday ALL the way to Thursday. The price point that was confirmed 2 hours prior to delivery turned out to be $500 higher upon delivery.

It was a pleasure doing business with you! I hope our discussion today will change your good opinion of us, to GREAT! All the best in your new hometown.

Customer Response • May 24, 2018

Yes, thank you very much for making everything right!

Two of their moving carriers have stranded us here in CA longer than told. Was suppose to be on road 5/1 and now being told it will be 5/7
Do NOT book them - We will be stranded in California for a week waiting for movers to arrive! We booked this company over a month ago before our very long move from California to Wisconsin and thought we were in the right hands. WRONG! Got close to our 3 day moving window, not hearing from them, and kept getting mixed messages on why we were not getting a final confirmation. Our final day in the 3 day window, 5/1, we gave them came and went and we were stranded looking for help from our landlord, etc while Best Interstate scrambled to try and get us another mover. At this point we thought we were even getting scammed by this company because no one would call back when they said we would. Finally we were told one of their moving carriers would be coming FOUR DAYS later and all they could do is compensate our rent. What about all the time and wages we are now losing at our new jobs!? Guess what happened next? Yup the next moving company says less than 18 hours ahead of the pickup time that we now have to wait until TWO days, oh and I find this out because I called Best Interstate, again why are they not calling us with these horrible updates and why is this even allowed to happen!? At this point I get the actual movers on the phone to explain the miscommunication and how something like this even happens. So here we are AGAIN being told someone from Best Interstate will for sure call us in the morning 5/5. Here I am on 5/5 after they have been open for almost 3 hours waiting for a call. Our given reference number for this job was #6865

Desired Outcome

Seeking compensation for lost wages and the hardship placed on our family and children. Also they should begin to give customers a heads up in the sales phases of how their business works and how the 3 day moving window doesn't mean anything and you can be waiting a week or more for a truck to actually arrive.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

The move delivery deadline was 1-17-18. We keep getting excuses for a delay and they have claimed several times they do not know where our things are.
11-29 Received an estimate and made first payment of $1002.06 plus a deposit to move broker: Best Interstate moving and storage who brokered our move with United Moving and Storage Corp

Total Moving Estimate $3,651.40
Requested Move date 11/29-12/01

11-30 Received call from United saying they would arrive by 5 pm on the 1st of Dec. Monday 12/4/17 requested as the delivery date

XX-X-XX United arrives for pickup at 5:45 with no prior call. We had followed up at 5:15 to see when they would arrive. We signed the contract/bill of lading (which is not dated and doesn't have a summary of charges) and they loaded our things.

XX-X-XX We are informed our move was delayed until 12-8-17. This pattern continued. We had to call and follow up with both companies. Neither offered information, usually they claimed the driver could not be contacted. BIMS had contracted 21 business days until delivery and United had 30 business days to deliver.

1-3-18 BIMS' contract date passes, we do not know where our things are
X-XX-XX United's contract date passes, we do not know where our things are

From 1-3-18 through X-XX-XX we were continually told they were sending a crew to pick up our things, and there was always a new excuse as to why our things were not delivered. The reasons included: general 'delay', weather, truck in accident, truck broke down, new crew being sent, driver could not be contacted, our things could not be located.

From 1-3-18 through X-XX-XX we spoke mostly with *** of BIMS. She often said she was unable to verify information including: where are things are, where the driver was, or estimated delivery dates.

X-XX-XX The last estimated delivery date we received. *** from BIMS called us, said that there was a problem with the truck and they were sending a new crew. She had no estimated delivery date to give.

Neither United Moving & Storage Corp nor Best Interstate Moving and Storage has guaranteed any compensation.

It has been 71 days since the contracted latest delivery date, and we do not know where our stuff is.

Desired Outcome

Delivery of our stuff and meaningful fair compensation.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Company provides erroneous prices when estimating moving costs. Company purposefully provides cheap prices using flawed systems and untrained staff
This company either fails to properly train staff on how to correctly estimate moving costs or purposefully trains them how to be deceptive when providing estimates. This company uses improper pricing estimates to beat other moving companies only to double the price after they posses your household goods. Original Estimate was for 14, 735lbs of goods with estimate of $6,236.51 cost. Final was over 21,000lbs of goods with price of $9732.00. Company was told the house was 3500sq ft 4 bedroom and provided list of most contents and still didn't come close.

Desired Outcome

Resolution is a reasonable price reduction created by erroneous estimating practices/ unqualified/untrained employees.

Best Interstate Moving and Storage has lost contact with the company they hired to move my belongings from Florida to Maryland. EVERYTHING IS GONE!
A true NIGHTMARE!

I hired and trusted Best Interstate Moving and Storage for my move from Florida to Maryland. It has turned out to be a HUGE mistake. Probably the biggest mistake I have made in my life because it has resulted in me losing EVERYTHING I owned and worked for. Best Interstate is a broker who then hired United Moving and Storage to pick up my belongings and drive them to MD. This occurred on January 18, 2018. It is now well past the 20 business day delivery promise made by BI. Today is February 27, 2018. I have been PROMISED and even informed by Best Interstate SEVERAL different delivery dates. I was told the truck was just 2 hours away and I was the next delivery.... NO SHOW. I was told the truck broke down and will be there tomorrow....NO SHOW. I was told they had to get a new driver and it will be there next week...NO SHOW. I was told the truck had to first deliver a poor little old lady who was waiting even longer than I was, and I was next ..... NO SHOW, and a few other excuses. I was told everything and anything to make me go away and wait longer for a truck that doesn't exist and is not coming! All resulting in no call/no show, to then receive a phone call yesterday from the owner of Best Interstate to tell me that my entire life is missing and no one has any idea where it is! BI has no idea where these men with my entire life are! NO CLUE!! GONE! MY. ENTIRE. LIFE. Best Interstate offered me an amazon gift card for $250. Thank you but that won't come close to covering my entire life, my important documents, my photographs, my diplomas, my clothing, my household items, my valuables from other countries...so no thank you.

LISTEN CAREFULLY PLEASE! If you don't want to lose everything that you have worked your entire life for, please chose another moving company!

Best Interstate Moving and Storage LLC
***
Jupiter, FL XXXXX
US DOT: XXXXXXX MC: XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

I would LOVE to have all my belongings back in my possession in the condition that they were in before they were stolen, however, if that is not possible, I will need to be compensated for everything I owned and went through that has been taken from me.

Best Interstate Moving and Storage Response • Mar 09, 2018

Ms. came into an agreement with Best Interstate Moving LLC to facilitate her relocation from Florida to Maryland. Please note, Best Interstate Moving and Storage is a licensed interstate broker and not a motor carrier authorized by the Federal Government to transport your household goods. Because of such, we coordinate and arrange for an authorized household goods motor carrier to perform the transportation services. Thus, the job was contracted to United Moving and Storage, a Revdex.com accredited moving company with an A- rating.

During the booking process, Ms. provided the logistics of the relocation as well as submitted an inventory of the items that were to be transported. The estimated pick up dates were scheduled for January 18-19th; with immediate delivery. We aim to honor the estimated dates given, however due to unforeseen circumstances that may occur, we can not guarantee the said dates.

The distance between the origin and destination states was approximately 744 miles. Per Federal regulations provided on the Interstate Bill of Lading, the driver has thirty (30) business days, excluding weekend and holidays to deliver the household goods from the first date available for delivery. Ms. was picked up on January 18,2018; therefore, making her first available date for delivery January 22,2018. Our office confirmed delivery was made on March 8,2018. The time frame between January 22nd and March 8th was approximately thirty-two (32) business days. This places the carrier, United Moving and Storage only two (2) days outside of the delivery window.

While Best Interstate Moving and Storage is not directly responsible for the delay of delivery caused by United Moving and Storage. Our office has refunded the funds collected for our services. In addition, the carrier has also made a significant provision in their compensation policy by exceeding the standard $30.00 for each day delayed and delivered the shipment for free to appease the customer.

In relation to the claim for damage. On the day of pick up, Ms. was presented with the Interstate Bill of Lading Valuation Addendum. This document provides the customer the options of coverage in the event there were damages sustained during transport.

Option 1; Full Replacement Value Protection educates the customer that if any article is lost, destroyed or damaged while in your mover's custody, your mover will, at its option, either 1) repair the article to the extent necessary to restore it to the same condition as when it was received by your mover, or pay you for the cost of such repairs; or 2) replace the article with an article of like kind and quality, or pay you for the cost of such a replacement. Under Full Replacement Value Protection, if you do not declare a higher replacement value on this form prior to the time of shipment, the value of your goods will be deemed to be equal to $6.00 multiplied by the weight (in pounds) of the shipment, subject to a minimum valuation for the shipment of $6,000. Under this option the cost of your move will be composed of a base rate plus an added cost reflecting the cost of providing this full value cargo liability protection for your shipment.

Option 2; waiver of full replacement value protection. This lower level of protection is provided at no additional cost beyond the base rate; however, it provides only minimal protection that is considerably less than the average value of household goods. Under this option, a claim for any article that may be lost, destroyed or damaged while in your mover's custody will be settled based on the weight of the individual article multiplied by 60 cents.

Our records reflect Ms. elected option 2 on the mentioned document. The claim form has been emailed to Ms ***'s representative with instructions on how to file the claim for damaged/missing items. Once the customer has submitted the claim form, the claim will be processed accordingly.

BIMS is currently handling my move from Florida to KS. When I booked the move, the agent failed to mention anything about the possibility of it taking 21 business days. (apparently it's in the fine print of the contract). Given that 21 business days is over a month, I would expect them to at least warn a customer of the time-frames as I would never have agreed to such a lengthy transit. It's now 6 days after pick-up and the truck hasn't even left Florida and BIMS can't even provide me with an Estimated Time of Arrival. The best answer I've received it that they might have a better idea towards the end of next week. To summarize, it's going to take 2 weeks after pick-up before they can even notify me of when my goods will arrive. At this point it seems very likely they are going to use every bit of that 21 business days and likely more. In addition to that, truck was over 4 hours late from their scheduled arrival. Upon entering my home, I was told that the cost would be approximately double from what I was quoted. All of this was based purely on viewing my contents, not actually weighing anything. It was pretty clear at that point, they purposefully provide a competitive quote with the intention of adding significant costs once the goods were loaded. Word of advice, do not use BIMS and make sure your movers are not brokers, but an actual moving company. Also be sure to get commitments on time frames to avoid this kind of mess. If you see a message below about them wanting to reach out to me to resolve, trust me it's just for appearance sake. They don't return phone calls and you have to hound them for any update.

Best Interstate Moving and Storage Response • Feb 22, 2018

Mr. came into an agreement with Best Interstate Moving LLC to facilitate his relocation from Florida to Kansas. Please note, Best Interstate Moving and Storage is a licensed interstate broker and not a motor carrier authorized by the Federal Government to transport your household goods. Because of such, we coordinate and arrange for an authorized household goods motor carrier to perform the transportation services. Thus, the job was contracted to Rayan Van Lines.

Mr. informed our office his preferred dates to move were February 9 thru February 10, 2018. Rayan Van Lines notified our office the customer household goods would be loaded and transported on February 9th.

The distance of the move was approximately 1,292 miles. Per Department of Transportation, the driver can only travel 500 miles per day. In addition, regulations mandate the movers have up to 21 business days excluding weekends and holidays to deliver the household goods from the first date available for delivery; as noted on the Interstate Bill of Lading signed at pick up. Based on the mileage of 1,292, the first day the movers could have delivered Mr. household goods was February 12th. Thus, providing the movers 21 business days from this date.

Rayan Van Lines notified our office the delivery would occur February 20th; only 11 calendar days from pick up and only 5 business days within the allotted 21 business days guideline.
In relation to Mr. claim of the cost of the move doubling. Based on the items the customer relayed to our office that would be transported, we generated a furniture list that provided a gross estimated weight of 4,961 pounds. Prior to the movers packing or loading anything, a visual survey is done by the foreman at pick up. Based on what was viewed, the foreman deemed there were more items to be transported and as a result would rescind the original estimate, creating a revision on the order. Mr. declined to pay anything additional outside of what he was estimated. As his hired broker, we intervened and negotiated with Rayan Van Lines to charge only the estimated balance to appease the customer.

Best Interstate Moving and Storage makes no attempt to deceive our customer in any form or fashion. Mr. was notified of the 21 business day to deliver while going through the verification call on January 23rd, which was captured on recording. Mr. came into a Binding Estimate with Best Interstate Moving and Storage. He signed and returned the agreement acknowledging we GUARANTEE our price NOT to exceed based on the items listed and any additional services elected. As previously mentioned, the customer voided the agreement when he attempted to bring more items on the day of pick up than what was originally disclosed while in the booking process. As a result, we are refuting the claim of deceitful practice.

I can't imagine a cross country move with 2 babies is ever easy. I started calling around and had every sort of response. Some wouldn't help because it was too far, others prices were out of this world. Josh at Best Interstate was seriously a breath of fresh air. He was the epitome of what customer service should be, he worked around my busy schedule to call back when best suited me and did his best to offer the most competitive price. He was really empathetic towards how stressed I was about the whole situation. He made the process really easy and really helped me along. Until my belongings were delivered he made himself available for my calls. The actual move took a bit longer than I'd hoped for and one item had some damage but they have really done their part to try to make things better and are continuing to help me. Most importantly, we're finally home!

Best Interstate Moving and Storage Response • Feb 15, 2018

This company was hired to move furniture and belongings from SC to Pa. The estimated delivery was to be Dec 16th 2017 give or take a few days. We have been in contact with the company's customer service. A new delivery date is provided, and it comes and goes with another reason why it could not be delivered. is not a customer of ours. However he is referring to someone else who was our customer. He was not made aware of the entire story. While we were not directly responsible for the delay, to appease the customer we extended a good faith gesture by providing a full refund for the services rendered to our company. We were not contractually obligated to do so. Due to these reasons, please remove this complaint. Thank you.

Moving is stressful. Especially when the move is cross country with a considerable amount of valuable and fragile assets. Before deciding to go with Best Interstate Moving and Storage I did my homework. No moving company is perfect but I was determined to find the best balance of price, favorable reputation and customer service. BIMS seemed to be the best fit. AND IT WAS. From start to finish, this was a very positive experience. Stephanie at BIMS called a key points in the move to check on status and she was a great listener, understood and had solutions. The packers were stunning. My fragiles were packed so well, that only abuse would have damaged them. Everything was delivered in a very timely fashion and unloaded. The packers and delivery driver were extremely friendly and respectful. Overall, this was a superb experience for what is a very stressful activity. I would recommend this company to anyone willing to listen.

Good overall. Everything done in a timely manner, most of the items with no damage except for one desk but customer service usually is very helpful.

Thanks Angel! We appreciate that you enjoyed our customer care team! All the best in your new hometown.

We contracted with Best Interstate Moving to move furniture (many antiques) and housewares from our home in Maryland to family in New Mexico. the professionals at Best Interstate Moving were great to work with. The price they quoted is what we paid, the arrangements were efficient and the movers very respectful of our belongings. The process was explained in detail and they were very accommodating of the questions that we had during the process. We are using them again to move some additional items to family in Wisconsin. Highly recommend them!

Hi *** - we are so happy to hear that your move went so well, you're using us again! I know *** loved working with you! Thanks for the kind words!

I used Best Interstate Moving and Storage to move my mother from California to Kentucky. The moving coordinator was such a great help. She explained every step and made it much less intimidating. Almost everything went as explained. The only issues we had were a cabinet that was left unpacked (which may have been a communication error) and I have yet to find a frame that was on one of my mother's very valuable paintings. I do not know why they removed the frame but I am grateful the painting is fine and hopeful that when we finish unpacking the frame will be there. Also, the truck had items in it when it arrived and the driver had not had it weighed. He said he would have it weighed when he off loaded the other items. At the end of the day, the price was reasonable and they added packing services at the last minute due to my getting the flu. I was very grateful for their flexibility and help. The gentlemen that unloaded the truck were polite and helpful. They put the furniture where I wanted it and assembled any items that had been disassembled for shipping. So far, all the items I have unpacked are in good shape and were well protected. It is a little inconvenient to have to pay with cash or certified funds at both pick up and delivery. Still, we would use Best Interstate Moving and Storage again.

We are happy to hear Allison was so helpful. She's a valued member of our team. We hope your mom is enjoying her new home!

In February 2017 I moved from Virginia to South Carolina and was very impressed with the professionalism of the team working with me. They were honest, polite and had a good sense of humor which made the entire experience much more pleasant. I was in panic mode due to the short time frame in which I had to move and not only did they exceed my expectations, they calmed me down during the process.I would definitely use them again for any future moves.

Thanks Cathy - it was a pleasure working with you! We hope you are enjoying your new hometown! All the Best!

My wife and I used BIMS to help us with our move from Texas to Washington state. The staff at BIMS were very friendly and guided us through the process and helped us secure an amazing rate on the pound. I couldn't be happier with the results as our belongings arrived extremely quickly and nothing was broken or missing. Our items were moved from Texas and delivered to Washington within 3 days! The sub-contractors they used wrapped all of our furniture with care and were incredibly fast which saved a ton of our time on moving day. They were even able to disassemble and reassemble a king-size bed frame perfectly. I highly recommends BIMS for any cross-country move.
