I believe they are running a scam. I feel they are promoting an auction site that is not what people think an auction is suppose to be. At regular auctions, you don't have to buy bids every time. I understand the registration fee, but not have to buy bids over and over.

It's not a true auction. If you were to go to any other auction and were you to bid on an item and did not win, if they say you didn't win , but that will still be whatever amount you did bid, you'd laugh and say see ya!

I received the refund a few days after filing this complaint and I am very happy to get my money back however, I still feel sorry for the other consumers who will unwittingly 'buy' bids withouth realizing they did due to the nature of how they have set up their website. Just yesterday I purchased a gift online and was taken to more than one screen in which I was verifying what I was purchasing and approving it - such a simple thing for them to build into their website and QuiBids ought to be ashamed of themselves for not making the purchase be very clear to the buyer.

I am disputed the charges placed on my credit card by Quibids on 07/30/2015. On 07/29/2015, while researching Ipads and Tablets,I was prompted by a search engine to visit the website quibids.com
I had no prior experience, nor interest, in sites such as quibids;however, I was familiar with e-bay and Craigslist and I was under the impression that quibids operated in a similar manner. I watched a brief video clip presented by a 'bogus' news station and the site seemed safe and secure. I had no idea when entering my credit card information that I would be charged multiple times for a 20 minute visit to a quibids auction site.
I called quibids customer support to inquire why they would have charged my card without my consent and they argued that they would give me credit for the same amount to use their site again. They claim to have a clear statement regarding their policy and charges and that is completely false. I am a conservative consumer and there is no way that I would have ever agreed to spending $132.00 in such a careless manner. I was aware of that bids cost .60 and purchased a pack for 45 BIDS @ $27.00. Consequently my Visa had (3) seperate charges placed by QuiBids 07/30/2015.

I am requesting Quibids to refund $105.00 on my Visa.
QuiBids is a fradulent and deciptive website and t should be stopped from doing business in the United States of America.

The terms of agreement doesn't make it clear. Like l stated before it was not clear, since l had this problem l did look at quibids reviews there were many complaint about the same issue as mine. Apparently, it isn't that clear. also since l didn't claim my bids quibids should refund me.

I am rejecting this response because: This company is deceptive and I suppose my account has been closed.  I was not able to get access to closing it so I have to rely on their word which I am not certain of therefore I will not agree to any type of resolution.  They need to fix that.  A person should be able to access their credit card and person information to remove it so that no additional charges can be made.  If you read complaints on line many people just like me were charged and not even aware until it was on my credit card statement.
