? [redacted] - As requested attached please find supporting info.? You will note on the pictures that the tires specify "Load Rating C" which is the tire for the other dolly this company sells. In my first phone call to the company in discussion with Johnny I verified the tires on the trailer and obviously they lied. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thanks - R

We ship several hundred packages per weekWhen we ship a product there is an expectation that the package will be opened shortly after receiptIt wouldn’t be a sustainable business model to ship damaged or used products, as we would be responsible for returning and shipping a new one? Mr W [redacted] ordered a wheel chock on July 9, which we shipped the following dayOn the 29th day from the date of shipping (day before the return period expired) MrW [redacted] called and requested a prepaid return shipping labelJohnny spoke with MrW [redacted] and explained that we do not provide prepaid return labels unless there is a problem with the product, and that he would be responsible for shipping the item if he wanted to return itMrW [redacted] stated he would ? “just keep it” if he had to pay to return itThen a few days later the item showed up at our warehouseThe warehouse inspected the item and determined that it had been usedThis was communicated to MrW [redacted] , along with the fact that it was returned without a RAHe was informed that a refund would not be issued, and that we would return the item to him if he would provide a labelI have attached here a copy of the communication with MrW [redacted] Here in the Revdex.com complaint he states that we wouldn’t provide authorization for a return, but you can see in the attached communication he acknowledges discussing that the cost of returning would be at his expenseHis representation to the Revdex.com contradicts statements made in our email communicationsIf we wouldn’t allow for the return of the product, then why was the cost associated with returning the item being discussed between him and Johnny? Again, if MrW [redacted] will provide a prepaid label, then we will return the chock to him ?

We sell thousands of items every year and have many happy customersNext year we will celebrate years in businessIf Mr [redacted] made a purchase at a local hardware store like [redacted] ***, and discovered he was unhappy with the product, then he would return it for a full refundHe wouldn’t show up at the customer service desk and attempt to negotiate a discountWe have offered to allow him to return the product for a full refundHis remark about waiting a month for a trucking company to show up is pure fictionWe use [redacted] Carriers for our trucking needsThey are one of the largest LTL carriers in the countryIf we called for a pickup they would show up the same dayIt appears that Mr [redacted] is simply using the Revdex.com complaint process is an attempt to negotiate a better priceIf he is unhappy with the trailer then he should have returned itWe have given him several opportunities to do so

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? The cover was purchased from The USA Trailer Store to protect the paintIf an animal or rodent urinated on the trailer, he must have done if on all of the painted surfaces, as the paint is peeling everywhereBesides, how would urine make the paint peel if the paint was properly appliedThe top coat, and the primer both peeled from the unprepared fiberglass' It's called improper substrate sanding? Cars, boats, motorcycles are all covered for the winter here in the harbor town of KenoshaYou never see paint peeling this wayI'll be more than happy to send the trailer back if you pay the freight and shipping preparationI have shown photos of the paint peeling to several paint/body shops in the area, and no one has ever seen paint peel like thatI will not settle for any less than replacement, or compensation to have the trailer stripped and repainted locally Regards, J [redacted] U***

The spoiler is an accessory in the sense that it is NOT a vital component of the trailer that will affect its safe operationAs agreed to by Mr [redacted] , the spoiler is being sent at a later dateIf Mr [redacted] was uncomfortable with installing the spoiler then he should have made this decision before using the trailerAt any time prior to using the trailer he could have contacted us and requested to return the trailer for a refund

Tell us why hereWe have a minute video that shows our employee (D**) thoroughly going over every aspect of the trailer with MrP***In the video you can see D [redacted] ? kneel down (video still image attached) to look at the information on the side of the tireAccording to D**, he looked at the sidewall of the tire and provided MrP [redacted] with the tire pressure and load range of CMrP [redacted] was given ample opportunity to look over trailer before accepting itMrP [redacted] further signed two documents accepting the trailer and acknowledging that it was received in good conditionThe time to discuss any issues or discrepancies was at the time that MrP [redacted] took delivery of the trailer, not after driving more than miles back to GA? ?

Mr [redacted] 's trailer was shipped without an accessory, which Mr [redacted] agreed to allow us to ship at a later dateBy Mr [redacted] 's own admission the trailer performed flawlessly for the first milesMr [redacted] has informed us that he experienced an issue with the air shocks and has? been asked to provide details so that the issue can be resolved under warrantyMr [redacted] has not provided further details of the issueInstead he has requested a return and refundOur clearly listed refund and return policy require that he return the trailer unusedMr [redacted] had ample opportunity to return the trailer before he used itWe will be happy to honor the warranty if Mr [redacted] will provide further details of the issue, but we will not pay for the return of the trailer

K***, The details are here - https://theusatrailerstore.com/terms-and-conditions/Warranty on this trailer is yearsT***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint ***,We have just come back from vacation and are responding to the above complaintWhen I first filed the complaint, I sent along emails that showed the history and responses we had received from the companyIf you read back thru the emails you will find that Mr [redacted] is wrong in his answers to our complaint.I have included a copy of his response so that I can respond in red to his statements:MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:Mr [redacted] received his documents before he received his trailerThe trucking company delivered his trailer on April Mr***’s first message about an issue was received on 4-24, more than weeks after he received his trailerHe claims in some of his communications that he could not test drive the trailer until he titled the trailerYes, I titled the trailer first because I didn't think I would have a problem. We have many customers that drive with their trailers before registeringJust like any vehicle most states allow you to drive a new vehicle for days with only a Bill of Sale, which Mr [redacted] had before the trailer arrivedUnlike other people I follow the law and title my vehicles before I drive them on a public roadAgain, I didn't think I would have a problemMr [redacted] claims discovering the issue within miles of pulling the trailerSomething that became apparent within miles of pulling the trailer should have been evident just moving the trailer around in his garageI said I went about miles or a short trip before I noticed the soundAs well, an issue like this should have been evident by picking up the trailer and spinning the wheelA test drive wasn’t necessarily requiredThe trailer didn't make the noise until I drove itPicking up the trailer and spinning the wheels how? Mr [redacted] has posted on our [redacted] page that this issue has been going on for “months” As he has admitted in other communications - and by the facts- this is not the caseIt seems that Mr [redacted] exaggeratesI do not exaggerateI contacted them in April with the complaintWe had numerous emails and telephone conversations with Mr [redacted] thru out May, June and It was July when we received an email from Mr [redacted] himselfWe bought the trailer in March, Received it in April and it is now the end of JulyI would say that is months. The initial “issue” of a bent axle was Mr***’s conclusionThe axles do have a slight bend as they enter the chassis, but are straight and true where the bearings rotateWhen Mr [redacted] requested new axlesWe didn’t argue as the axles are not very expensiveIt is now becoming apparent that Mr [redacted] is unqualified to handle this issue if there is even an issueMr [redacted] claims to have an axle that is 14mmThis is impossible.I have attached a video showing how the bearing fits on the trailer axle and not on the axles sentWrong size whatever size he wants to call themWhat is not shown on the video is that the lug for the end of the threaded part of the axle does not fit alsoIf Mr [redacted] wants to send in the defective part then we will make a repair under the warranty, which we have been willing to do since day one.We were told by Mr [redacted] on May to get a quote for repairWhich we didat no time was it said that they would be willing to make the repairIn fact why did Mr [redacted] sent us the parts if he was going to do the repairHe says if we sent the defective part he will make the repair under warrantyHow will he do this without taking the whole trailer back? The axle is welded to the frame of the trailerIS he willing to now take the whole trailer back, pay for shipping and repair the trailer under warranty? Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, Please let us know below why you are rejecting the offer made by the business.] Regards, J [redacted] U*** In your email dated [redacted] , September *, 2:PM, you state "We have never seen anything like it", so would think it would behoove you to do everything to resolve this issue in case of future complaints/claims, and forgo dancing around the shipping issueYour return policy states:RETURN POLICYFOR TRAILERS & PEDICABSDay Return Policy - We accept returns on new trailers & pedicabs only within days from the date of purchaseTrailers & Pedicabs must be returned untitled, unused and in new sellable conditionYou must contact us to obtain a return authorization numberUnauthorized returns will be refusedCustomers are responsible for shipping both ways (Shipping is non-refundable)If the trailer and/or pedicab you purchased had free shipping, then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refundAll returned items are subject to inspection for damage before refundingThis issue occurred long after the days as stated. So to surmise, it would cost me as much to have it stripped as to ship itI could probably put the trailer on the bike and ride it out thereI'm sure you would not want people to see the "MADE BY THE USA TRAILER STORE" sign on all sidesIt is your reputation at stake, and doing the right thing will go farI owned a Harley-Davidson bike and in 2008, month out of warranty and over the mileage of the warrantythe motor blew upIt turned out the oil pump blew up and sent shards through the entire motorH-D had never seen this either in that model year, and not only did they replace the motor free of charge, the dealership also wrote off the laborI tell this story quite a lot, as I will tell your story good, or badTo other bikers .I was hoping that the Revdex.com’s intervention would resolve this issue, without my pursuing other recourse.J**

After reviewing the attached documentation, I do not accept what USA Trailer is proposing The facts are that I had to contact them on several occasions in order for them to get back with me After speaking with them on several occasions I asked them what were they going to do and as I stated in my compliant they were not willing to help in any way when I was in South Carolina at the manufacturer After I finally got home, they agreed that they would send the parts, which we did receive, but we would have to fix it on OUR EXPENSE I FINALLY just found someone that would fix the trailer I just want them to take responsibility for their bad workrman ship, and hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone elseThis could have been a real tragedy for me resulting in lives taken If people on the side of us would not have brought that to our attention that the trailer was coming apart, because I was thinking everything was OK with the trailer except for the stand that had came a loose earlier I did not have a clue that other things was coming apart on a dangerous freeway I am just thankful that it did not end up in a tragedyThank you, B*** S***

MrW [redacted] damaged the product during use because he failed to follow the instructionsWe do not allow for the return of products that are used, misused or abusedOn January 23, MrW [redacted] paid a deposit on a Tow Max Car Tow DollyHe planned to pick up the dolly a couple weeks later The following day we emailed a complete set of instructionsMrW [redacted] arrived on 2-to pick up the dollyThis means that MrW [redacted] had almost weeks to review and understand the operating manual emailed to him on 1-24-On the day of pickup he signed numerous documents indicating that the dolly was received in working order, that he understood the return policy, and that he received a printed copy of the manualSeveral hours after picking up he called and stated he heard a “popping” sound that was concerningWe asked if he had backed up the dolly, which within the manual we advise againstThe dolly has several pivot points, which means it is easy –and quick- to jackknifeWe have a recorded telephone call where MrW [redacted] states at least times that he backed up with the dolly while loaded with a vehicleFurther, he states that the “popping” sound started just after backing up with the dollyIt is clear that MrW [redacted] used and damaged the product because he failed to follow instructionsOur return policy clearly states that we only allow for the return of new products, and that they must be in their original condition

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? Kelly - As requested attached please find the latest info I? have received from the company: 1.? A plaque that apparently is supposed to be attached to the dolly.? It is important that you note that the even the plaque calls for 205/Dtires.? This means a "D" load rating not the "C" rated tires they provided 2.? C copy of the title that shows that the max gross vehicle weight to be towed should not exceed lbs- Not the lbsas shown in the website 3.? A signed copy of the Bill of Sale You should understand that the misrepresentations made by the company are very serious.? Someone thinking they have a dolly more capable than being sold can create a serious danger to themselves and those on the road with them These misrepresentations warrant a letter the the Sheriff, the South Carolina DOT and the South Carolina Secretary of State Consumer Division This picture is not D [redacted] showing me anything.? He is tightening the lugs which were apparently not done properly from the beginning [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, Please let us? know below why you are rejecting the offer made by the business.] Regards, R [redacted] P***? ?

First, we do not have a record of Mr [redacted] ever mentioning a bent coupler or blemishes on the trailerIf the customer would have made mention in the beginning that there was a bent coupler then this would have shed light on the possible reason for a bent axleWe do not ship trailers with bent couplers or bent axlesTrailers are inspected before shippingThe condition of the trailer is documented with photos and videos prior to shippingWe have photos and a video of Mr [redacted] trailer before it was shipped and are confident that the damage to the coupler and axle happened after leaving our facilityAfter determining that the trailer had a bent axle Mr [redacted] agreed to replace it if we shipped an axle to himAxles are inexpensiveRather than trying to determine how the axle became bent and who was responsible for the damage we agreed to ship a new oneThese axles must be machined and are purchased in batchesUnfortunately our supplier continued to push out the completion date on the next batchThis was the reason for the long delayOn Friday July Mr [redacted] contacted management about the situationManagement made a decision to remove an axle from a new trailer, which now means that this trailer cannot be sold until the next batch of axles has been receivedThis is not normally something that would be done, but special consideration was given to accommodate Mr***The new axle was sent to Mr [redacted] on Monday July

I hung up on Mr [redacted] after he began to curseMr [redacted] needs to contact [redacted] and [redacted] about returning his purchase, as the item was not sold to Mr [redacted] by The USA Trailer Store or [redacted] , Inc

***,I have emailed you a Dropbox linkYou can see D [redacted] tightening the lug nutsYou then see him stand up and back away when he has finishedMrP [redacted] then asked about the tire informationDan kneels down to read the information off the sidewall of the tire and provides this to MrP***After, D [redacted] stands and walks awayT***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? This is trueI requested a refund and was provided with return information from the [redacted] sellerThe [redacted] seller has been more than fair and has attempted to assist with these issues form the manufacturerThe problem is with the actual design of the motorcycle hitch, the instructions not being correct leading to a safety problem, unidentified parts hat came with the hitch, and the President, ***, not wanting to be bothered with what is a serious safety issue which could cause injury or death [redacted] did not seem to want to be bothered by what I feel is a serious quality/design issue and he did not want to investigate whether the hitch I received could have been a factory defect of if the parts in the kit were just the wrong partsI was told by [redacted] to "go out and buy the right sized parts"The customer should not have to go out and buy anything if they have bought a hitch that is supposed to come with accurate installation instructions and all the parts necessary to safely install and use the hitch[redacted] does not seem to care about the safety of his customers or the quality of his productsIf I can't at least get someone to look at this hitch design and the installation parts that come with the hitch to see of it is indeed a faulty design or if the hitch I received was just bad, my next step is a letter of complaint to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as the design of the hitch I received is a safety problem for the user and other motorists sharing the road? ? Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint After reading several complaints, I have found that this company does not care about their customers I have found nothing but unresolved complaints about this group This complaint will just add to the count I don't have the means to package this trailer back up for shippingI also don't care to wait for several months for a truck to show up as another complainant describesThe group flat out liesthis is evidenced by the fact that this trailer is advertised to be 125Lbs empty when in fact it is 200Lbs, per wheel and on the tongueRegardless of the companies claims of Quality, This unit was unusable when I received it because the lid would not even close and latchHow is that for qualityAnd yes, quality certainly is subjective, but what I received was not quality in anybody's eyes but the sellerWould you accept a new car with the headliner falling down? I would hope notBut carpet not glued or coming unglued seems to represent a quality product to this businessHow about driving down the wet road in the rain with your new car, only to find the carpet gets soaking wet from the unsealed holes in the bottom where wires come through They tell you to get the trailer registered within days, but tell you where the data plate is supposed to mount.I got stuck with a lemon, and I'm the bad guy? Never again will I buy in good faith sight unseen Regards, [redacted]
