Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint To Respond, Yes, at the time of shipment of the trailer we noticed that the coupling was mounted at an angle not "Twisted as damaged", But at an angle as poorly alignedTwisted was probably not the best word to useAt the time we accepted this but now with all that has happened we are just very disappointed in the quality of the trailer. But as far as the axles:This is a copy of the email sent to [redacted] of the business and to [redacted] of the Revdex.com on July 9, 2015, pictures were sent along with the original email on July 9.'We received in the mail today spindles from your companyWe were expecting one spindle and bearings inner and outer Both of the spindles we received are the wrong sizeThey wouldn't go inside the bearing or lug nut See attached picturesThe surface of the spindle isn't a smooth surfaceThe surface is pitted and has welding spatter on itThey are also warped in several directionsThey angle one way and then another and the threads are damagedThis is a safety issue alsoWe are talking about a serious accident if the wheel would fail or axle break. We have filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and will wait for a message from them before any more actions. We are completely disappointed in our experience with your companies and want a full refund at this writing." We cannot use the axles sent to fix the trailerWe used a caliber and our axle and bearings that we have are 14mm and we were sent 15mmThe ones sent were not acceptable in that they are bent in multiple directions and not a smooth surface for a bearing. As far as the time waiting to receive and the time to get new ones, we were not told any of this months ago it would take this long to receiveIt finally took the threat of hiring a lawyer and filing a complaint with the Revdex.com for Mr [redacted] to sent us the spindles that he did in three day.We also did not receive in writing but in verbal from [redacted] that the company would pay for the repairs, When we asked for this in writing from Mr [redacted] we have received no response.I don't want to try and repair this trailerI am pulling this with a motorcycle and I am not going to take a change that a non factory weld on the axle will workWho is to say who is qualified to do this work and that we are not putting ourselves at risk I want to exchange this trailer for a new one or get a full refund Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] ’s trailer was shipped from SC to TXWhen the trailer left SC it was properly packaged to prevent damagePrior to shipping the trailer Mr [redacted] was provided with information showing him how the trailer should arriveThe shipping information instructed him of his responsibly to inspect the trailer upon arrival and note on the Bill of Lading obvious damageMr [redacted] failed to make the proper notation on the Bill of Lading when he signed for the productThe damage to Mr [redacted] ’s trailer was caused by the trucking companyNevertheless, we previously offered Mr [redacted] a prepaid return Bill of Lading and a full refund upon return of the trailerInstead Mr [redacted] decided to keep the trailer and pursue a claim against the trucking companyThe trucking company is now denying responsibility because Mr [redacted] failed to note obvious damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of deliveryIn addition to taking our time to file the claim we have also shipped to Mr [redacted] free parts to replace those that were damaged by the trucking companyWe have gone above and beyond in an attempt to appease Mr [redacted] We will take no further action in regards to Mr [redacted] ’s claim

At first all I wanted was advice of how to fix the trailer from coming off the hitch since I was on the road and did not have a manual to refer toI am upset with the accusations that I don't know what to do but I am the one that figured out what to do to fix the problem on the roadThis is what I got for trying to figure this out nothing but the run aroundSo after fixing it myself and receiving a latch that was to long I had to grind and modify to fit and left a message but it was never returned nor an email answeredThe stand was mentioned in the email but I am to the point I don't care if they fix it or notThey are not going to admit any fault so I will take care of it and will take my case to [redacted] *** and maybe some people will see the posts and heed our experienceThanks

He can remove the chassis and return this along with the tires/wheels and shocksI have attached a photo showing a breakdownReturn to: [redacted] Inc[redacted] Hwy [redacted] , SC ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
This is trueI requested a refund and was provided with return information from the *** sellerThe *** seller has been more than fair and has attempted to assist with these issues form the manufacturerThe problem is with the actual design of the motorcycle hitch, the instructions not being correct leading to a safety problem, unidentified parts hat came with the hitch, and the President, ***, not wanting to be bothered with what is a serious safety issue which could cause injury or death*** did not seem to want to be bothered by what I feel is a serious quality/design issue and he did not want to investigate whether the hitch I received could have been a factory defect of if the parts in the kit were just the wrong partsI was told by *** to "go out and buy the right sized parts"The customer should not have to go out and buy anything if they have bought a hitch that is supposed to come with accurate installation instructions and all the parts necessary to safely install and use the hitch.*** does not seem to care about the safety of his customers or the quality of his productsIf I can't at least get someone to look at this hitch design and the installation parts that come with the hitch to see of it is indeed a faulty design or if the hitch I received was just bad, my next step is a letter of complaint to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as the design of the hitch I received is a safety problem for the user and other motorists sharing the road

J** U*** In your email dated ***, September *, 2:PM, you state "We have never seen anything like it", so would think it would behoove you to do everything to resolve this issue in case of future complaints/claims, and forgo dancing around the shipping issue. Your return policy states:RETURN POLICYFOR TRAILERS & PEDICABSDay Return Policy - We accept returns on new trailers & pedicabs only within days from the date of purchaseTrailers & Pedicabs must be returned untitled, unused and in new sellable conditionYou must contact us to obtain a return authorization numberUnauthorized returns will be refusedCustomers are responsible for shipping both ways (Shipping is non-refundable)If the trailer and/or pedicab you purchased had free shipping, then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refundAll returned items are subject to inspection for damage before refunding. This issue occurred long after the days as stated. So to surmise, it would cost me as much to have it stripped as to ship itI could probably put the trailer on the bike and ride it out thereI'm sure you would not want people to see the "MADE BY THE USA TRAILER STORE" sign on all sidesIt is your reputation at stake, and doing the right thing will go far. I owned a Harley-Davidson bike and in 2008, month out of warranty and over the mileage of the warrantythe motor blew upIt turned out the oil pump blew up and sent shards through the entire motorH-D had never seen this either in that model year, and not only did they replace the motor free of charge, the dealership also wrote off the laborI tell this story quite a lot, as I will tell your story good, or badTo other bikers .I was hoping that the Revdex.com’s intervention would resolve this issue, without my pursuing other recourse.J**

Quality is subjectiveWe provided a trailer that meets our
standardsAs Mr*** explains, he was given an option to return the
trailerThis offer still stands if he hasn’t used the trailerWe will provide
a prepaid return Bill of Lading and provide a full refund upon return of
the
trailerWe will not allow Mr*** to keep the trailer and negotiate a
discount to his liking

We sell thousands of items every year and have many happy
customersNext year we will celebrate years in businessIf Mr
*** made a purchase at a local hardware store like *** ***, and
discovered he was unhappy with the product, then he would return it for a full
refundHe wouldn’t show up at the customer service desk and attempt to
negotiate a discountWe have offered to allow him to return the product for a
full refundHis remark about waiting a month for a trucking company to show up
is pure fictionWe use ** Carriers for our trucking needsThey are one of the
largest LTL carriers in the countryIf we called for a pickup they would show
up the same dayIt appears that Mr*** is
simply using the Revdex.com complaint process is an attempt to negotiate a better
priceIf he is unhappy with the trailer then he should have returned itWe
have given him several opportunities to do so

Tell us why hereWe have a minute video that shows our employee (D**) thoroughly going over every aspect of the trailer with MrP***In the video you can see D** kneel down (video still image attached) to look at the information on the side of the tireAccording to D**, he looked at the sidewall of the tire and provided MrP*** with the tire pressure and load range of CMrP*** was given ample opportunity to look over trailer before accepting itMrP*** further signed two documents accepting the trailer and acknowledging that it was received in good conditionThe time to discuss any issues or discrepancies was at the time that MrP*** took delivery of the trailer, not after driving more than miles back to GA

I'm sorry ***, I tried to send an explanation last night but all I was able to achieve was a system error message. First of all the so called "accessory" not mounted to the trailer is STANDARD equipmentIf you visit their website you will notice that the *** model is pictured with the spoiler and brake lightIt is also priced at $with no mention of any accessoriesThis piece is a vital safety issueOriginally when I spoke to *** he seemed surprised that I was calling about the missing partI paid for the WHOLE trailer at the time of orderNot a month later when they finally shipped the incomplete trailerThis conversation with *** took place about minutes after the truck delivered on 4/15/I did agree at that time to alow them to ship the missing part at a later date so that I could install itSince that time I've decided that I should not accept the liability of drilling holes in the top of the trailer and attempt the wiringI'm simply not going to do it. Also, having only traveled LESS than miles to have it totally failThe suspension totally collapsedWhen I placed a call to USA Trailer Sales all I got was a machineI left a distressful message but never got a return callI'm not willing to try and fix their very SUBSTANDARD product. All I want is the $paid plus the original shipping of $As far as the return shipping goes, that's up to them or it will go to the dump.Thank you, *** * ***

Mr*** has already requested from the seller to return the item for a refundThe seller is providing a return labelUpon receipt of the product the seller will provide Mr*** a full refund

The spoiler is an accessory in the sense that it is NOT a vital component of the trailer that will affect its safe operationAs agreed to by Mr***, the spoiler is being sent at a later dateIf Mr*** was uncomfortable with installing the spoiler then he should have made this decision before using the trailerAt any time prior to using the trailer he could have contacted us and requested to return the trailer for a refund

At first all I wanted was advice of how to fix the trailer from coming off the hitch since I was on the road and did not have a manual to refer toI am upset with the accusations that I don't know what to do but I am the one that figured out what to do to fix the problem on the roadThis is what I got for trying to figure this out nothing but the run aroundSo after fixing it myself and receiving a latch that was to long I had to grind and modify to fit and left a message but it was never returned nor an email answeredThe stand was mentioned in the email but I am to the point I don't care if they fix it or notThey are not going to admit any fault so I will take care of it and will take my case to *** *** and maybe some people will see the posts and heed our experience. Thanks

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
After reading several complaints, I have found that this company does not care about their customers. I have found nothing but unresolved complaints about this group. This complaint will just add to the count. I don't have the means to package this trailer back up for shippingI also don't care to wait for several months for a truck to show up as another complainant describesThe group flat out liesthis is evidenced by the fact that this trailer is advertised to be 125Lbs empty when in fact it is 200Lbs, per wheel and on the tongueRegardless of the companies claims of Quality, This unit was unusable when I received it because the lid would not even close and latchHow is that for qualityAnd yes, quality certainly is subjective, but what I received was not quality in anybody's eyes but the sellerWould you accept a new car with the headliner falling down? I would hope notBut carpet not glued or coming unglued seems to represent a quality product to this businessHow about driving down the wet road in the rain with your new car, only to find the carpet gets soaking wet from the unsealed holes in the bottom where wires come through They tell you to get the trailer registered within days, but tell you where the data plate is supposed to mount.I got stuck with a lemon, and I'm the bad guy? Never again will I buy in good faith sight unseen
