I have tried finding a resolution to this problem many times by contacting Blinds Chalet and each time never receive a call back We tried airing out the blinds for a long time so that maybe the toxic chemical smell will go away, and nothing has worked I am asking for some compensation I have to repurchase blinds because these are defective Is there some credit you can offer?

Blinds Chalet is willing to cover the cost of replacement shade as a time courtesy to this customer The shade's part that went bad is only covered for years The order was placed over years ago We hope that this will satisfy the customer

Unfortunately this customer is not being honest in his claims We told him that if his shades were made with green headrails that we would remake them with white headrails I have attached a picture of his shades that we had picked up and inspected to make sure they were made in white It is clear from the phot that the shades have white headrails From a conversation I had with the customer he told me that the headrails are not a bright enough white for him So for him to claim they are green is untruthful We explained to the customer that these shades can only be made with one color of white for the headrails We state that these headrails are color coordinated on our website We also state that we do not accept returns or exchanges as all of our products are custom made Here is the link to that information [redacted] Return Policy Since all products are custom made to order for each customer, they cannot be returned except for warranty repair Blinds Chalet should not have to cover the cost for these shades because the customer does not like the color of white headrails that was provided If he needed a specific shade of white he should have disclosed that and we could have sent him a sample Instead he placed the order This customer has tried disputing the charge with his credit card company The credit card company has sided with Blinds Chalet because we have done nothing wrong Now the customer is trying to distort the truth and leave bad reviews against bZBinds Chalet He makes reference to bad reviews We have had thousands of orders placed on our website and only have negative reviews Its unfortunate that the customer did not get what he wanted but we delivered what he ordered We have offered to work with the customer and have provided other solutions but his expectation is that Blinds Chalet should cover all of the costs

The picture that we provided was from the manufacturer The manufacturer of the products inspected the shades and compared it to another headrail that was made in white to confirm that the shades were made in the only color of white they offer The customer had admitted to blinds chalet that the headrails are not a pure white like he was hoping form We feel bad that the customer did not receive the color of white that he hoped for but we made the shades in the only color of white available The customer has never suggested shipping the shades back to us and Eric has not denied that request It does not matter at his point if Blinds Chalet received one back or not, the manufacturer has inspected them and confirmed that they are made in white Blinds Chalet paid to have the shades shipped back and inspected by the manufacturer We normally would not do this as our website states that we may need pictures back if the product arrives incorrect or damaged from shipping The customer could not provide a high quality picture so we had them picked up and inspected as a courtesy to him

The customer ordered the blinds through Amazon Amazon's policy is that the product must be returned to receive a refund Once we receive the product back we will issue a refund to the customer Blinds Chalet will not pay to have it shipped back, this is the customer's responsibility

The merchant was trying to use the upside down as an excuse to deny responsibility The panel has left and right side The side at the lip of the closure is L-shape in cross section with a board sticking out (to be used as a stopper when you close the shutter) The side the hinge supposed to be drilled is flat I have included pics here showing the difference of the edges on each side of a shutter The shutters that I received have hinges drilled on the lip side (L-shape side) My installer had to remove the hinges drilled by the factory and move it to the other side and thus leaving a lot of holes on the shutter (See third pic circled in red) Actually it happened to all of the shutters and I have attached a few more pics This is not acceptable because there are holes everywhere If the hinges are drilled on the lip side of the panel, no matter how to rotate it won't work and won't close because the hinge side is supposed to be flat My installer also explained to me why he installed the shutter up side down because the left and right side of the panels are uneven and he had to do it like that to avoid gaps Anyways, having it upside down does not bother me and I have the right to do that it's no of their business but having holes everywhere on the shutter really bothers me and I'm not satisfied In short, the hinges are drilled on the wrong side and it's nothing to do with the up side down If the hinges are drilled on the correct side, I can always rotate them degrees without problems, now the main problem is the hinges are drilled on the L-shape side of the edge

The cord tensioner that the customer is complaining about is a tensioner that is used by many manufacturers in the industry including products that are sold by blinds.com. Each manufacturer takes steps to make their products safe for children. These products have been tested and found to... be safe. The beaded chains are warrantied so of they were to break like the customer was worried about they would be replaced. We can not refund the customer simply because they feel like the cords might brake or the tensioner isn't strong enough.

I do not have a link provided by the business But I would like to clarify that my complaint is not just about the string color--far from it The top of the blinds has the ticking/backing from the cover to the strings sticking out in different levels with each string set, in addition to the strings being attached by eyelet screws The whole effect is that the blinds look homemade, not professional In the interest of resolving this issue, I would be willing to accept a 50% refund at this pointI still don't think that it's right for the business to not take the blinds back or fix the problem, or that the Revdex.com is not stepping in, but I'm willing to concede at this point, but only if the refund is promptly made Thank you

The customer service agent explained to the customer why she recommended it be ordered inches larger She explained that there will be a deduction taken of 1/4" to the fabric (as stated on our website) and in her opinion it is nice to have the shade extend past the glass so it blocks the ability from seeing in the side of the shade My suggestion to order it a inches bigger was so that you would receive the fabric at the size you intended it to be Blinds Chalet's customer service agent was trying to provide you with a helpful suggestion I do know that we provided that shades to the sizes they were ordered to As stated before we will gladly have the shades remade for a discounted cost but Blinds Chalet can not pay to have shades remade that were ordered incorrectly The difference from the 1.5" deduction to the 1.25" that is listed on the website is also listed on the ordering page Note: Width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/4" This variance is a industry standard

I apologize for the miscommunication on Wendy's part. She is a new customer service rep and misspoke in this situation. We will have the correct valances sent to you at no charge

Unfortunately the customer is not being completely honest in his accusations. We have e-mails from him stating that he made the mistake when ordering the product. All of our products are clearly labeled on *** as to what sizes they are. It's unfortunate that this customer made
"the mistake of not reading clearly what the dimensions were. He has actually placed another order for the correct size after he ordered this incorrect size. He made the mistake of originally ordering a size of 84"(w) x 120"(h) when he needed to order 120"(w) x 84"(h). We will gladly refund the customer once we receive the product back. We can not provide shipping labels to send product back. All of our products are shipped through our manufacturers who have accounts with FedEx and UPSWe don't not have accounts with FedEx or UPS. Our manufacturers unfortunately will not pay to have these picked up as the products were made and delivered to the customer as ordered. We feel bad that it is so expensive to return the product that was ordered incorrectly by the customer but unfortunately we do not control the shipping costs

This is the exact response that I have gotten before from Blinds Chalet. The blinds do not look as advertised; they are not professional looking blinds. See attached pictures, from company website and as delivered to me. Please help me to resolve this claim, thank you

Some of the customers claims below are not true. First the customer is stating that Blinds Chalet isn't offering any assistance in getting a resolution. Blinds Chalet has gotten the manufacture to agree to fix these shades for free even though the mechanism that have gone bad is no
longer under warranty. In the warranty section that each customer who places an order acknowledges to have read on our website it states "This warranty does not apply to any parts which fail due to accident, alteration, improper use, abuse, neglect, wear,All cords will eventually wear out" Lifting mechanisms and cords eventually wear out depending on usage. We feel bad that this customer has shades that the cutch has gone bad on. We have never told the customer to bad we have to do what the manufacture tells us. We have been trying to accommodate the customer the best we can. But the accommodation that the customer wants is new shades at Blinds Chalet's expense. The claim made by the customer that a Blinds Chalet rep told her that her mechanisms were replace by a new one after her shades were made is not true. A Blinds Chalet customer service rep was trying to confirm what clutch was used on this customers shades because the shades had been made months ago and the manufacture offers different types of clutches and needed to confirm which clutch mechanism it was. Blinds Chalet did not state to the customer that the mechanism used on her shades had been changed to a newer one.It is unfortunate that the customer can not take the shades down and send them in, her issued could be resolved. Blinds Chalet can not pay for new shades to be made because of this reason. We have negotiated new parts for the customer for free if she will send them in

I have been on a chat and e mailing the seller almost every day and it took them days to figure out the blinds where never picked up!!! they been sitting outside an empty house for days!!!!!! why did the company not check the tracking number from day one!!!! they have been giving me the run around it is not my fault the company has such a bad customer service team it seems they do not know what they are doing!!! Why should I wait for a refund when it has been their mistakes over and over!!! I have provided proof to the Revdex.com e mails and pictures I took to our live chats ! also I have sent you Revdex.com pictures and videos of the poor quality products this company sells wich they don't even know what they sell because the items shipped from mexico they do not even inspect the quality before it gets sent to the customer!! please help me get my money back as soon as possible this company is only giving me the run around I should not be responsible for all their mistakes!! I apologize for the wording that was used, it should have stated they added an additional clutch mechanism. The clutch system that is used on your shades is still used. My point was to let you know that your clutch mechanism is still used in shades. The complaint made by the customer that we received stated they were trying to dispute the charged amount. This is directly from the complaint by the customer.Purchase Price: $1072.00Disputed Amount: $We feel bad that the customer is unhappy with their shades but we clearly state on our website that all products are custom made and we can not except returns or exchanges. That is why we offer free samples of all our products so each customer can see and fill the product in their own hands before placing an order. This customer ordered free samples and saw and handled the material before they placed the order so I am confused why they are now saying the material seems cheap. Also we clearly state on the product page in the specs tab that this product has a 2.25" minimum flush mount depth. So the customer is correct that the shade will stick out past inches and that is why we provide this information on our website so each customer is aware of the mounting depth. If the customer still would like to have the cords changed out we can work with the manufacturer to get this done
