Review: I purchased two airline tickets for a price indicated on their website. The price was the lowest of their competition. I received two emails (one for each ticket) confirming that my credit card would be charged the price I had seen on their website.

When the charge went through, they charged me a higher amount for each ticket (the same amount that their competitors were offering). When I called to inquire, I was told that sometimes the price of tickets change, and they claimed that they called to confirm that the higher price was acceptable to me. At first, they claimed to have called me days before, however, after I pointed out that my tickets were purchased earlier that day, the representative changed his story and said they had called that day.

In reality, I did not receive a call, did not speak to anyone prior to being charged the new price, and have no record on my cell phone of a missed call or voice mail from them.

When I attempted to cancel the transaction (I had called within the 24-hour cancellation window that the airline offers), I was put on hold for an excessive amount of time and was never able to get through to anyone.Desired Settlement: They reimburse me for the difference between what I booked the fares for and what they charged me.

Review: I booked a flight with bookingairfare.com and, upon discovering that I could no longer make the original trip, called to change my flight, aware that I would have to pay the fare differential and a penalty. However, the prices they were listing for me over the phone were upwards of $300 more than those listed on their site (over 10 different eligible flights all listed at $561 selected concurrently with my phone call with the service, yet they were telling me the same fares were upwards of $800 since I had last checked). This is blatant price gouging, as I was told the fares had gone up since I had last looked (as I said, I was looking concurrent to the phone call), thus misrepresenting and gouging the price of their service. How can I change a fare when they continue to raise their prices unfairly for the original service? I ask for my original fare as refund for unethical business practices making it impossible to recieve the services promised and possibly that the company be investigated for such.Desired Settlement: I ask only for my original fare in return and that the site be held accountable for their terrible pricing inconsistency, if not completely gouging their customers.

Review: Book airfare incorrectly charged my credit card twice for a flight booking approx 1.5 months ago. I have called them over 10 times to get my refund for the extra flight booking. They continue to tell me the refund has not processed. They promise to email and call me with updates but they never do. I am always placed on hold for an extended period of time when calling them. My credit card transaction is accumulating interest because of this.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of $401.18 immediately.

Review: I made a flight reservation online through BookAirFare.com in December 2014. However, I decided to cancel it and authorized BookAirfare to cancel my ticket. I was told the cancellation fee was $250 which I paid (with my credit card) on the date of cancellation (01/07/2015).

Later on, I was charged $25 on 03/13/2015 and $225 on 04/17/2015. Both these transactions were without my authorization. I have tried calling them and sent them my credit card transaction screenshots. Whenever I call them I would have to wait for about 30 minutes and have to tell the history of the transaction to every agent I speak to. I was promised that I would be refunded my $250 whenever I called them, but I did not receive my refund. I got tired of calling them and have sought the help of Revdex.com. Hope you can help me.Desired Settlement: I would need my refund at the earliest.

Review: I purchased a ticket from their website to fky from Atlanta,GA to Denver, CO. I purchased a extra $15 dollar insurance on their website claiming to refund tickets if you purchased the insurance. So I did. I am active duty and my planned time off constantly changes according to the needs of my current mission. Well I cannot fly in the day I bought the ticket. I called fully expecting there not to a be a problem. I was told the insurance is good for only 24 after the insurance and ticket are bought. I was very rudely told. I was shocked and decided to not bicker with them. I want my money back and a guarantee that they are not doing to other people. I know they are. It was a $200 dollar ticket. Which is a lot of money to me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund, or credit to get a ticket when I have the time. I want a apology and that they clarify that the insurance is only good for 24 hours and quit selling to people and ripping them off.

Review: Hi,

I had bought a ticket from www.bookairfare.com from Atlanta-Dubai-Hyderabad (May 30th, 2015) and Hyderabad-Dubai-Atlanta (June 14th, 2015). The travel to Hyderabad was fine however during my return trip, I reached the ticket counter of Fly Dubai to checkin for my Hyderabad-Dubai flight. The airlines told me there is no such flight booking under my name. They found that I have a booking from Dubai to Atlanta but not from Hyderabad to Dubai. I called Book Airfare and they put me on hold for long time. I didnt have cash to make the international phone call and was stuck! I finally purchased the ticket at the facevalue of $400 to get to my next flight.

After returning back to the US, I complained to the customer service at Book Airfare. They said they will take care of it. I sent them all the documents etc they requested. All they said was they will get back to me. I have contacted them 3 times so far and its been 2 months. I am getting the same response from them over and over. The company is not taking any action!

There are several online reviews about this company and all the customer are frustrated! Check [redacted]-Has_anyone_ever_used_bookairfare_com-Air_Travel.html

I would like to get my entire ticket money back due to the frustration I am facing from this company. I would also like the Revdex.com to investigate this company as there are a lot of people having issues with this company.

Such companies are breaking the trust of customers and cheating them in broad daylight!

For the benefit of all the air travelers, please take action against Book Airfare so that no one else has to go through what Im facing or all the previous customers have faced!

Review: This is in regard to booking [redacted]

I have called NUMEROUS TIMES...... BEEN HUNG UP ON.....

What is going on?????

On May 6th two tickets were purchased. One with zero problems for [redacted], thank you. The second has been a nightmare, for [redacted]. We originally received an email stating the phone number provided did not coincide with the credit card. Immediately, we called and rectified the problem. We were told an email would be forthcoming with the ticket.

On May 7th, we called back for no such email came. We were told everything was fine and it would arrive in 24 hours.

On May 25, we called again for NO EMAIL ever arrived. Was told this was a 'system glitch' but that the ticket is there.

On May 26, I spoke with Rachel in CS. She patiently went through the history and guaranteed that I had a ticket. I believed her.

On May 27, we arrive at JFK to learn in fact there is NO TICKET!

I had to pay $1100 to fly because NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE to get this rectified before the flight!

Seriously??

This morning, June 5, I have been on the phone with [redacted], after a 20 minute hold, only to be told I needed to call a different number. I call the other number 25 minute hold and speak with [redacted]. I explain the situation to her, she tells me - THERE WAS A TICKET. I said, no, when we got to the airport they said the ticket was voided by bookairfare. She asked me to hold. On hold for 10 minutes and to ADD INSULT TO INJURY SHE HUNG UP!

DISGUSTED!

I EXPECT a credit, immediately, for the original ticket price. THIS is a TRAVESTY and the blame rests SOLELY upon bookairfare.com.Desired Settlement: I'd love the full amount that they cost me $1100 but will settle for the original ticket price refunded of $514.10. Either way I am on the losing end but I more than desire the $514.10.

Review: I booked a ticket through bookairfare.com using a third party website, "momondo.com". After verifying everything online, I was contacted by the company for a copy of my credit card as well as passport with a written contract for the billing amount of what I authorize for the trip. I chose this option from momondo because it was the cheapest available by about $50. They had unconventional practices such as calling me by phone to verify information however I went through with it. They ended up charging me $55 more than agreed upon (including a written contract), and it has now been a month with no refund provided. I have called atleast 4 times and they keep on saying it will happen soon with no further explanation. This website uses odd practices (method of contact, asking for credit card and passport info), as well as not honoring the agreed upon price though advertising the lowest. I would like my $55 refund as well as to educate others not to use this service.Desired Settlement: Please see above. I would like my $55 refund for the actual agreed upon amount for my ticket.

Ben is terrific...great service.....should be promoted....!!!Ben is very helpful...

Review: I booked a flight to Portland on June 4th. I was sent a confirmation code immediately after booking. I then received a call from the site asking to confirm the order which I did. I then received a voice mail on Friday stating that I had to confirm again. I was not able to respond right away, I then received an email saying that the booking has been cancelled. I did not want to deal with this company anymore so I have now booked my flight directly with the airline. This is similar to other complaints that I read after the booking.Desired Settlement: I would like future customers to not use this website and also be aware of this kind of scam. I would hope the Revdex.com would investigate this business and practices and prevent consumers from being affected.

Review: I bought 3 flight tickets form BookAirFare. One for my father, another for my mother for my child - an infant. Because of medical conditions one of the passengers (my father) can't flight. We do have the official document form the doctor which is telling that he can't flight. And I sent it to BookAirFare 3 times. Now I need to cancel the flight for my father. And according to the airlines rule I can get the full refund of the ticket price. Because BookAirFare is third party company meaning that I bought the tickets not directly from the airlines I can't work with the airlines company directly. I spent more than 6 hours over the phone speaking with different agents at BookAirFare. All of them couldn't help and 4 of them just hung up on me. I feel really disappointed and helpless.

I had another problem with this company when I bought the tickets. They charged my bank account extra money (for one more ticket) and it was the same problem - I couldn't return my money some time. The agents just hung up on me when I talked with them and trying to get my money back. All of them tell different things, send me to the airlines or hang up. It's awful, because I contacted airlines and they tell that there is no problem and they want to help but the don't have an access to reservation. Only BookAirFare has it. But BookAirFare don't want to help at all. All they want is to change the date and charge once more, but not cancel the ticket and make an refund. The flight is tomorrow. I don't know what to do, because they don't help at all.Desired Settlement: BookAirFare shoul contact Aeroflot, ask them for assistance (which they are ready to provide) and make refund of the flight ticket according the airlines rules ASAP because the flight is tomorrow.

Review: I recently purchased two airline tickets. BookAirFair cancelled my flight because they could not verify my credit card information. I called my credit card company to ask them what had happened. They said when BookAirFare called with my information they gave the wrong address. My credit card company put a hold on my card. So BookAirFare cancelled the flight because they couldn't receive payment.

I feel it is BookAirFares fault that a hold was put on my card because they were the ones that provided wrong information. They sent me an e-mail telling me to call back because their was an issue with my card. I did and they told me that someone would call me back within 20 mins. Never received a phone call back.

I called back on Monday, August 17th. They told me that my tickets had been cancelled and they would re-book them for me, however, it would be more expensive. I told them I did not agree with having to pay more since they were the ones that put my card on hold. I was told a supervisor (named [redacted]) was going to investigate and call me back within a few hours. Never received a phone call back.

I called back Tuesday, August 18th. Re-explained my story after being put transferred (multiple times) and put on hold 30 mins. A lady answered and told me they would re-issue my tickets for the original price I purchased them for and I would be receiving an e-mail with my tickets within 30 mins. Never received an e-mail.

I called back Wednesday, August 19th. (Talked to Nathan) Re-explained my story again and was told it wasn't their fault, they don't know why someone would tell me I was getting e-mailed tickets, they would re-book the tickets for the more expensive price. I found the same flight through a different company. It was cheaper than the new price BookAirFare was quoting me but still $200.00 more than the orginal tickets I bought. I called their Credit Card service department number (talked to [redacted]) and said that my flight had been cancelled due to the wrong information being passed to my credit card provider and was going to ask if he could look up what information he had on record and he hung up me.

I am so angry with the way I was given the re-around on the phone. Every time someone answered the phone I would have to give them my name, number, and reservation number, they would tell me my flight was cancelled, I would try to them why it had been cancelled, and they interrupted me, lied to me, hung on me, and tried to tell me that I had never called them. I tried to e-mail them through their Home page and went I hit "sent" I got a 404 Service Error.Desired Settlement: I feel BookAirFare owes me the $200 their mistake and further lying cost me. I can e-mail confirmations and receipts if necessary.

Review: To whom it may concern,

I am writing because I recently had an unfortunate experience with the business Bookairfare.com. In purchasing tickets I was under the impression, based on the product description, that I was purchasing insurance to allow me to change my return flight at any time. Upon attempting to change my flight I was informed I had only purchased the customer satisfaction option which allowed me to change my flight within twenty four hours of purchase. When I called the company, my wait time was over forty five mins each time and I was hung up on twice before being told there was nothing that could be done.

While this was frustrating and disappointing, my real complaint is that I have since found out that bookairfare.com uses a false US address and phone line. I was looking to call corporate headquarters to see if there was any way for me to adjust my flight without having to pay double the ticket price and in doing so saw that the corporate headquarters for bookairfare.com was listed in Delaware (I can provide the full address is necessary). I looked this up and found that it is connected to the booking agency Regus in Delaware. I called the agency and was told that bookairfare.com is not listed as one of the six hundred + businesses they serve through that address. It was suggested me that I report the fraudulent address.

I would like Bookairfare.com to help compensate for the flight I now have to purchase because it was not clear that I was not purchasing the flight insurance option at the time of booking. I have been in communication with them and have asked if they would be willing to let me purchase the insurance now, as this was what I thought I had done from the beginning. They have been clear on all accounts that they are unwilling and unable to assist me unless I pay two hundred dollars and the difference between the fares.

Given their unwillingness to assist and the fact they are using a false US address and phone line for their corporate headquarters I would like to make a formal complaint against them and suggest that their current US listing be discontinued. I would even like to suggest that companies who use bookairfare.com as a service, such as skyscanner, be notified and advised to discontinue their service.

Thank you for your time,

Review: I booked a 440$ flight ticket that is from NYC to Paris on BOOKAIRFARE.com last June. However, because of a car accident on the highway, I missed the flight. After negotiating with this agent. We made an agreement that is I paid 240$ as a penalty in order to use the 440$ as voucher in the following one year. At that moment, the agent representative I talked told me that I would be able to use this voucher to book any flight ticket on their website, but it is only for myself. Meanwhile, he told me that the 240$ was refundable, which means that if I decided to not use the voucher later, I can ask for a refund. Nevertheless, this afternoon I contacted them and tried to book a round-way ticket from NYC to LA. This time, they told me the voucher can only be used to book exactly the same airline and the same routine. Since I do not think I will travel to Paris in the following several months, then I decided to ask the refund of the penalty. The most ridiculous thing happened. They changed their mind and claimed that the penalty was nonrefundable and it was paid to the airline XF France Airfare. I strongly suspected the credibility of this argument because of several reasons. Firstly, at the beginning, the penalty they asked for was 300$ if I would like to use the 440$ voucher in the future. I felt like it was too expensive, so I decided to not get the voucher. Then they brought the price down to 240$. If it is paid to airline, I do not think there is a way for us to negotiate the so-called penalty. Secondly, I contacted the airline also. I heard from the airline that they do not have such kind of change. 240$ probably is just some processing fee BOOKAIRFARE changed for themselves. Thirdly, I tried to call BOOKAIRFARE several times later. Unfortunately, after I explained the problem every time, they would purposely hanged over my phone. Now what is worse, they would not answer my phone any more.

I totally understand that the orginal 440$ is nonrefundable and I would like to take the responsibility about missing the flight to Paris. However, what I do not understand here is that if I am not gonna use the voucher, what should I pay the extra 240$. Then, I would lose 680$ instead of 440$. Particularly, I feel they did not show any respects and honest attitude throughout the whole discussion process. You can tell from their hanging over such kind of behavior that they do not want to solve the problem or even talk about it. I spent the whole afternoon about 5 hours trying to figure out this problem. But frustratingly, I am not able to get any help from them. 240$ may not matter to lots of people, but for me, a poor student who tried to cover her own living expenses via part-time job, it does matter.Desired Settlement: I really hope this problem can be solved ASAP and the 240$ could be refunded to me. Additionally, I hope they can make a apology to me about the whole issue. Thanks for your time and help!

Review: On July 25th I purchased an airline ticket from bookairfare, com for $1,526.80; before purchasing the ticket there was no disclosure stating the terms and agreements about their cancellation policy. After I booked it was attached to my itinerary. My flight is due to leave on Tuesday August 5th, 2014 leaving from Dallas Texas to Algeria. The reason I had to cancel my flight is because my visa didn't arrive on time. I called Bookairfare.com on Monday August 4th, to find out if I could postpone my trip to the next day, if not possible cancel it be refunded my money back. Their response was I could reschedule; but had to pay $350.00 in addition to the price at that time; and it had to be done by midnight or I lose my money. I don't have that kind of money, since this trip is expensive in the first place. I was told that it is their policy not to refund my money back; they also stated there was nothing else to be done. This is a lot of money to just give away, I'd like to take my trip, so I would like to be refunded so that I could. Thank youDesired Settlement: I'd like a refund

Review: I believe that my complaint is both a customer service issue AND either a delivery issue or sales issue. I attempted to purchase an airline ticket online at bookairfare.com on May 28, 2015 (for upcoming travel in July 2015). My transaction appeared to go through, I was issued a confirmation number and email and both stated that I should receive an email with my e-ticket within 2-24 hours. I am a PhD student and dealing with some health issues currently, so I have been very busy and it did not occur to me until June 6 that I had not yet received an email with my e-ticket. I went to the website and it still showed my itinerary as "reserved," but there was no link to an e-ticket. I sent an email to [email protected] with my confirmation number and I inquired about receiving my e-ticket. I received an email back from someone identified as "[redacted]" that my booking was cancelled and that I should not have been charged, but there was no explanation of why my booking was cancelled (or why it still showed as "reserved" on their website), so I phoned the number listed on their website, 855-282-6507. I was fortunate enough to be connected with a very apologetic and professional agent named [redacted]. He looked up my reservation and he could find no reason that my booking was cancelled, but he took responsibility and proceeded to help me book a new itinerary--with a different airline and better travel times (all at his suggestion)--and guaranteed me that I would only have to pay my original rate of $569.20. [redacted] was very patient and thorough and kept me on the line through nearly the entire process. At one point, he had placed me on hold to try to run my transaction on my card and he came back to inform me that my card did not go through. I could not remember which card I had used (it was not listed on my confirmation email from bookairfare.com and there were no charges on any of my accounts) until he came back and read me the expiration date. It turns out that in the time since I had made the original transaction, I had to request a new card (but this was long enough after my air ticket purchase that it should not have affected this purchase). Since I am still awaiting a new card to replace the one I used for my original purchase, I had to give [redacted] a different card to use and I chose to use my Chase debit card. [redacted] ran the transaction, sent me an email with my new travel itinerary and confirmation #, made sure that I noted that he included his direct email address and direct phone line in the email, then requested for me to email back approving the transaction in order to finalize things. After he confirmed that he received my authorization email, he informed me that I should expect to receive a further confirmation email with my e-ticket shortly and he informed me that he would be working until 4pm Eastern Time that day, in case I needed to contact him again for any assistance. After some time had passed, I had not received any further emails and it was after 4pm EDT, but my initial email from [redacted] contained a confirmation number for Delta (in addition to the confirmation number for bookairfare.com), so I went to delta.com and verified that my flights had been booked with my preferred seating assignments and I was relieved. Later that evening, I received an email from Chase Debit Fraud Prevention (sent at 4:54 PDT) listing all of my attempted transactions from that day and asking me to click either "yes" or "no" to indicate whether I authorized all of these transactions. Once I checked to make sure that this was a legitimate email from Chase and not a phishing attempt to steal my financial info, I clicked yes. I then immediately went back to delta.com and discovered that there was now no record of any flights under my confirmation number. I then went to chase.com and discovered that all of the transactions that were questioned in the email from them were in a pending status EXCEPT my transaction with the travel agency--it had been outright rejected without my permission (I have also filed Complaint ID [redacted] with Revdex.com of Delaware regarding Chase's handling of this matter). Knowing that [redacted] had already gone home for the day, I sent an email back to his direct email address explaining the situation and asking for help. The next day it occurred to me that I should contact Chase by phone to make sure that they would approve this transaction if and when I attempted it again (again, see Complaint ID [redacted]). During my conversations with 4 different people at Chase, I was told that the reason that this transaction was rejected for suspected fraud is that the merchant did not enter any of my identifying information that is usually included in an online (or phone) transaction for security purposes (such as my address/zip code or the 3-digit security number from the back of the card). After this call, I left a voicemail on [redacted]'s direct line. I don't know [redacted]'s work schedule other than the hours he informed me of on Saturday, but since I had not heard back from him via email or phone by Monday morning, I decided to try to call his line again. It rang several times and went to voicemail, so I then called the general number for bookairfare.com. The first person to answer my call was a woman who did not identify herself who hung up as soon as I said, "I attempted to purchase a ticket on your website 2 weeks ago" (I do not know if her hang up was intentional or accidental, but it certainly added frustration to already frustrating circumstances). I called back and the call was answered by a man who also did not identify himself and as I tried to explain my circumstances, including the fact that I had just been hung up on, he rushed me through my explanation, requesting my confirmation number before I could finish explaining the issue. He then asked to place me on hold for "2 minutes". After waiting on hold for a few minutes, my call was disconnected. Frustrated even further, I attempted [redacted]'s direct line again. It went to voicemail and I did not leave a message, but almost as soon as I hung up, I got a call back from the same number. I asked the man who called if he was [redacted] and he said he was not and that [redacted] was not in today. I then asked if this was the travel agency and he replied yes and offered to help me. I then tried to explain the situation to him and he looked up my confirmation number and coldly replied that my card transaction was declined. I then tried to explain to him why it was declined and what steps I had taken to get it corrected and he informed me that I would now have to pay the current rate because they could not keep the previous rate for me. I tried to appeal to him that none of this was my fault and that, in both of my attempts to purchase my air travel with them, I never received notice that my tickets were cancelled or that there were any issues. At some point, he began yelling over me and insisting that bookairfare.com had sent me an email on Saturday informing me that my card was declined. I told him that I had received no such email and asked for him to resend it to me then. At this point he told me that, because the email was sent by a different department, he was unable to forward it to me. I then asked him his name, which he stated to be [redacted], and I informed him that I would be filing a complaint about their handling of this situation.Desired Settlement: Although I do think that Chase Bank bears some responsibility in this matter (see Complaint I[redacted], I do also understand from Chase's explanation that if [redacted] had entered my full card information, including security numbers and/or billing address, they would not have flagged this transaction as fraud and declined it. I think the fair outcome is for bookairfare.com to obtain my same flight itinerary with Delta that [redacted] obtained on Saturday, June 6 at the $569.20 price I was promised. This may involve some intervention from Chase Bank (an explanation of what happened, reimbursement of the difference in airfare from my discounted ticket to the current price, etc) or they may act independently.

Review: I booked the Turkish Airlines airfare on September 19 2015 for September 21 one way from Chicago to Bishkek. BookAirfare has the option of a non-fee cancellation within 24 hours of booking which I selected when booking the ticket. My credit card was charged the same day by Turkish Airlines (not BookAirfare) for the amount of $930.43. Next morning I changed my mind and wanted to cancel the reservation. BookAirfare has booking functionality but it is impossible to cancel the ticket online. So I went to Turkish Airlines website and cancelled the reservation. Got a confirmation screen but never a confirmation e-mail. Some time later my wife called BookAirfare about the refund on the reservation that we cancelled and discovered that we actually had to call BookAirfare within 24 hours from the time of booking to be eligible for refund. BookAirfare has no instructions regarding the matter nor it has any within the confirmation e-mail.

I called BookAirfare some time later. The lady was telling me this "you had to call us" mantra over and over again. When I asked for a supervisor, she said there is no supervisor and refused to transfer me anywhere.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a full refund or a credit for this arifare.

Review: I have tried contacting bookairfare.com on five separate occasions, three times over the phone, once through email and once through online feedback form. I booked a trip from Portland, OR to London, Uk, with travel dates of 9/12/2014 to 9/17/2014. I called to simply change my date of return to 9/18/2014. The first rep. I spoke to, [redacted], was very rude and told me falsely that it would cost $1,300.00 to change my reservation, WHICH IS MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE ENTIRE ROUNDTRIP FLIGHT! He then suggested I wait until I get there and then try to change my flight, which makes no sense. He then hung up on me. I called back an hour later and spoke to [redacted], who said they could reschedule my flight date for $522.00. I waited on hold for 10 minutes, only for [redacted] to say "someone" would have to call me back and took down my number. When I asked why I couldn't just change my flight, he hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time and [redacted] again took down my number and assured me that someone would call me back within the hour. No one has. I don't understand why this company will not change my flight date. WHat is the problem? Inquiries via electronic mail have gone unanswered.Desired Settlement: I want them to change my flight as I have requested, and I don't believe they should be able to charge me a $325.00 for changing my booking as they have not provided a service and have made it very difficult to do a very simple thing.

Review: This business is scamming people online and there seem to be an issue with many consumers. I purchased an airline ticket for a flight from Chicago to St. Louis. They sold me the ticket for $150.10 but when I looked at my credit card statement, I was charged $157.10. I contacted them immediately via email and they offered me $7 discount on my next purchase. I don't want a discount nor I want to use their service again. They told me a refund will take 2-3 months. It took them less than a minute to rob me but it takes them 3 months to issue a refund? This business is a scam and there seem to be lots of complaint on the web. I wish I had seen the reviews before I booked the ticket through their site. Please help me get my refund.Desired Settlement: Refund for the overages

Review: I PURCHASED A TICKET ONLINE IN APRIL FOR MY VACATION IN JULY TO BARCELONA. I PAID WITH MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE AND THEN 1 WEEK LATER I RECEIVED A CALL AND AN E-MAIL FROM A REP FOR THIS COMPANY ADVISING I HAD TO PAY $70.00 MORE IF I WANTED TO KEEP MY RESERVATION. I DID AS WAS TOLD AND ACCEPTED THE CHARGE EVEN THOUGH I THOUGT THAT WAS FISHY. A FEW WEEKS LATER AFTER THAT I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL AND I NOTICED THAT MY FLIGHT HAD BEEN CHANGED TO ANOTHER DAY. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE COMPANY AND EXPLAINED I WAS GOING TO TOEHR COUNTRIES AS WELL AND HAD A VERY STRICT SCHEDULE AND THAT I COULD NOT CHANGE MY TRAVEL DATE. I ADVISED THAT I BOUGHT MY TICKET FOR THAT SPECIFIC DAY WHICH WAS JULY 10TH AND I WAS NOT GOING TO ACCEPT ANY OTHER DATE. AFTER MUCH GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THIS COMPANY THEY FINALLY WERE ABLE TO GET ME A FLIGHT FOR JULY 10TH AND THEY PRMISED ALL HAD BEEN RESOLVED. ON JULY 10TH I GET TO THE AIRPORT AND THE PERSON AT THE DEKS ADVISES THERE IS NO TICKET WITH MY RESERVATION. I MMEDIATELY CALLED BOOKAIRFARE AND THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SAID THEY ARE SORRY BUT THE NLY SOLUTION THEY COULD OFFER ME WAS TO EITHER GET A REFUND OR FLY THE NEXT DAY. I WAS FURIOUS BECAUSE I CONVICED THIS ISSUE HAD BEEN RESOLVED AND THAT THEY WERE SINCERE. THIS VACATION WAS MY DREAM SINCE I WAS A LITTE GIRL AND BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE MY TRIP. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ANGRY BEFORE IN MY LIFE I COULDN’T BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDN’T DO THEIR JOB I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS PAYING FOR IT. THANKS TO THIS COMPANY’S MISTAKE I HAD TO CANCEL ALL OF MY OTHER TRIPS AND CANCEL TWO APARTMENTS I HAD ALSO RENTED IN TWO OTHER COUNTRIES. ALL I ASK IS THAT THIS COMPANY REFUNDS ME MY $1,214.00 TO MY CREDIT CARD. IT’S THE LEASE THEY CAN DO FOR RUINING MY DREAM.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE BOOKAIRFARE TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND REIBURSE ME THE FULL AMOUNT FOR THE COST OF MY TICKETS. WHAT THEY DID TO ME WAS COMPLETELY UNETHICAL, UNLOYAL AND GROTESQUE. I HAVE NEVER FILED A COMPLAINT WITH ANY COMPANY BEFORE BUT I FEEL THAT THIS IS WELL DESERVING OF ONE!!
