We booked the movers for 12/27 and then had to reschedule it for 12/29. Lauren from the support team was very nice and prompt.
The guys arrived on time and was very well behaved and well spoken. They didn't waste time. And was prompt in their service and packed up well and finished off with the moving and unpacking well in time. I will highly recommend Boston Best Rate Movers.

The team of movers was outstanding; polite, efficient and friendly. I was given a pickup time of 1 to 4pm. The movers arrived at 2:15 and this was on the 30th which is the busiest moving day! We traveled to Maine and they arrived about 20 minutes after I did. I highly recommend!

Jesus and Antonio called me to let me know exactly when they would be arriving (within the time window provided) and were courteous and helpful from the get go. They wrapped everything they moved in plastic to protect it. we used these guys to move us into a storage unit while we try to find a new house, we will definitely be calling them again to move us out of the unit and into our new home. way to go Jesus and Antonio, a job well done!! highly recommend!

I worked with Boston Best Rate Movers for our office, the guys were on time and waited patiently for the custom paperwork. They are nice, hardworking and helpful. Also, their phone services are really easy to communicate and fast. Overall, I definitely recommend working with them.

I arranged to have boston best rate movers pack up my apartment and put my belongings in storage for six weeks then bring my belongings to my new apartment. the guys were nice and moved quickly and professionally in packing up my apartment. the nightmare began when they brought my things to my new apartment. first, they brought my mattress in. through the mattress cover, one could see that the mattress was obviously covered in mold! the movers asked me if it was raining when the guys first moved my things. no, it was not raining. and even if it were raining, the truck was in a covered area to move my items to the truck. the movers told me I could call the office for a solution. I continued unpacking. another box was clearly sitting in a wet area. all of my winter coats were covered in mold. then another box. the movers had packed up my lamps. the glass lampshade was broken upon arrival.
I called the office the next day after ensuring I collected all of my grievances. they instructed me to call a third party insurance provider. for ten days, I called several times a day. each time I got a recorded message telling me the office was closed and what the hours were. BUT I WAS CALLING DURING SAID OPEN HOURS! THEIR INSURANCE PROVIDER IS A SCAM.
my belongings were damaged. over $1500 worth and the office claims there is nothing they can do about it and all claims must go through *** Claim Management, which is clearly a scam.

I hired these movers for an August 29th move. The contract language stated I would only be charged for the time it would take to move my items. When the movers showed up, they realized it would be a quick job and said there was a 3 hour minimum. I tried to dispute it at that time. The movers spoke limited English and claimed they didn't understand what I was saying. At the end of the move that took EXACTLY 2 hours, they said they were now charging for travel which was also not included in quote. I paid for the 3 hours and contacted the business the next day with the issue. They assured me they would refund me for one hour of service b/c the policy kept changing. I have called and spoken to a *** multiple times (over 6). Each time, they say the credit person isn't in or it will be done by the end of the week. This has been 4 weeks with no refund in sight. Story keeps changing and they are getting more rude each time I call.

The movers were punctual, pleasant, and efficient moving my stuff, and even helped me assemble a new table.

The movers showed up early, worked efficiently, and were able to hoist a 250 pound vanity through a second floor window. It was 93 degrees outside but they were still very pleasant and helpful. Our move could not have gone any better.

I have used Boston Best Rate three times and have been completely impressed with them each time. They are prompt, friendly, fast, and amazingly strong! I can’t recommend them highly enough.

It was a pleasure working with this company. They were very professional and nice. They were able to move me quickly and all of my items made it to my new place safe. They arrived on time. When I discovered that they brought two lamps from my old place that didn't belong to me by mistake, they offered to take them back for me.

Actual movers were amazing and very respectful.......but was not happy that they added some extra charges without notifying me until they handed me the bill after the move. I assumed I would be paying from arrival to departure, but then they add on more time stating they actually charge you from office to office (which was an extra hour and a couple hundred dollars). This is not stated on their website under their policies, and noone notified me of this until they literally handed me the bill with the disclaimer at the bottom that states this. When I contacted customer service to ask why this is not mentioned on their website, and only on your bill when you receive it after the move.....the customer service agent let out a huge annoyed sigh, and said "UGH JESUS CHRIST" (as he was completely annoyed I was asking questions). Not happy about that and feel that this is very sneaky, and if its not stated up front, or documented in writing on their website its not good business. Most people probably dont even notice this, as to why they most likely just get away with it.

Excellent, these 3 men worked so hard in the hot humid weather to get us moved. They were knowledgeable regarding having to dis asemble and re asemble two beds, 1 a Daybed that was so hard to do without any directions, and they kept at it, Never complained, I added some other items I had forgotten about and they were eager and ready to get those items packed and out. Kind, friendly and hard working, they would not let me lift a finger to help. Everything was packed and complete. They made a stressful move, a positive experience for us.

Boston Best Rate Movers delivered on all their promises: on dates, time, rate, and professionalism. We moved from Massachusetts to Maryland and received great service beginning from their office to the total of five movers who handled our belongings in our presence. Based on what we had to move, they quoted us a flat rate which they adhered to. So far all the items we have unpacked are in good shape.
