These guys were awesome - they were super fast, really friendly, took care of my things to not damage, they were on time. It was really easy to set up the move - I did it online and it was easy. I’m always nervous about movers but listed to a recommendation and glad I did - they were great!

My move went smoother than I could’ve imagined! The 3 man crew moved me out of my packed 2 bedroom apartment in Somerville to my new place in Braintree in under 3 hours. They even showed up early!

Best moving experience we've ever had! Efficient, expedient, kind and incredibly patient! We appreciated the level of service and professionalism. The move was very fast, taking only about half the time we had anticipated. We will definitely use this company in the future, and recommend to anyone we know looking for movers!

After spending half hour reading reviews on *** and ***, I finally decided to try Boston Best Rate Movers, and it turned out this was a wonderful decision. They called me around one before their arrival and updated the time for the delay due to traffic. The guys are nice and polite. They packed my furniture with sufficient pads and care. They are patient to answer my questions and set up the furniture at the new home to my satisfaction. Although their electronic record was not 100% correct about my address but it did not cause any trouble after talking to the great team. I would highly recommend this company!

We have used Boston Best Rate Movers twice now in the last 3 years and they are wonderful! They communicate well, arrived on time, answered all of our questions, and were efficient and careful. They wrap everything really well and paid special attention to a few pieces we have that are antiques and important to us. They asked where we wanted everything so we didn't have to end up moving anything around after they left. They had us check the truck for anything left behind and do a final walk through of our new house to ensure things were not missing and things were where we wanted them to be. I really appreciated that as we had them move a couple heavier pieces that were not quite in the spot we wanted them (our fault for not giving better instructions as to where to put them), ensuring they were moved safely and did not scratch the floors. Highly recommend them!

Boston Best Rate Movers were amazing. They came in the promised window and got the move done in record time. Everything was done professionally and the movers were courteous and took their time in carefully moving my daughter's furniture and personal belongings. I will make sure my daughter uses them every time she moves in the area. I really could not be more pleased!!!! These guys were truly fantastic!!!!!

Had a great experience leading up to and through our move from Watertown to Medford. The moving crew was fast, efficient and friendly. It was the hottest day of the year so far, and despite this they worked so fast on the move-out during the hottest part of the day. My only note, though I think you'll find this with most movers, is that they weren't very conscious of boxes marked as fragile and didn't pay attention to boxes marked for rooms-- normally wouldn't be an issue, but we had very heavy items marked for the basement that ended up inside the apartment (2nd floor), kind of defeating the purpose. Would still definitely use them again!

Good experience overall. I did an overnight local move, so I had one team move me out, then they stored my stuff, then another team moved me in. I didn't realize that my stuff wasn't getting stored in the truck it was getting moved from, so I was charged for extra time unloading and reloading the truck. The time I was charged to unload the truck was 30 mins vs the 1.25 hours I was charged to reload it. Obviously, I wasn't there for either step so I have no idea if those times are accurate. One team was better than the other--clearly had a good system going and was very experienced. The other team seemed a little less sure of themselves and spent some time clearing the truck of blankets etc in the middle of the move. BUT: good price--honestly, the best I could find; and nothing broke, as far as I can tell.

The team worked so efficiently and finished in great time. All the furniture was disassembled, wrapped well and reassembled in the right rooms.
They deserve all the credit for making this day a success.

Boston Best Rate Movers were fantastic from start of inquiry to end of move! I had an apartment to apartment move in the same apartment complex. They facilitated my class schedule so that I could get my move done early in the day with time to spare. They were courteous, on time and very efficient. I highly recommend Boston Best Rate...they are great and their moving cost was totally reasonable compared to other companies I could have had move me.....use them for your move...you won't be totally satisfied!

selecting Boston best rate movers was a good choice overall. Website offers good information but is not easy to use. Movers were scheduled to come at 12:00 but I got a call at 10:00am saying they are free and can come early. Movers did not have the correct order because office staff had messed up on the paperwork. I had selected $135/hr for 3 movers and all the packing supplies - movers came with the order of $119/hr and no supplies. Clearly the office staff needs to do a better job of getting the order correct. When reserving office had told me that all the packing supplies are included but despite objection they charged for wardrobe boxes. Typically they cost $11-12 at *** with Boston best rate it's $22. When asked for clarification office staff said it's listed on the website. Estimate time for move was 3 to 4 hrs - giving a quote of around 500 on the higher side. Final total for me was 850+. Move took a total of 5 hrs. For a 1 bedroom unpacked apartment on the 5th floor with no elevator is a good time. While the overall experience with the move was pleasant and little bit of hassle - lack of clear communication about charges and what's included and not included needs to improve. Over all I would hire them again.
