Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Dear Revdex.com: The Revdex.com e-mail dated July 16, @ 11:a.masks that I logon and read a message from Revdex.com in regards to complaint # [redacted] The massage refers to my complaint dated (3-27-@ 3:p.m.) The massage contains a statement from [redacted] saying, "We have done every thing in our power to accommodate this customer." Mr [redacted] also says, " I have found no damage to Mr [redacted] ' vehicle and regret his dissatisfaction." In addition, Mr [redacted] says " [redacted] Forero has also tried to help Mr [redacted] to no avail." To whom it may concern within the Revdex.comOn July 6, @ about 11:a.mI hand delivered to the lady at the front desk a completed Revdex.com customer complaint form and a two (2) page attachment containing my written compliant about Brake CheckPlease ask her if she remembers that I made a mistake filling out the form and that I found the young lady coming from the back office and she gave me another formShe made copies of the complaint form and my written complaintI had to return because I left my sun glassesI ASK THE Revdex.com THAT THEY DO NOT CLOSE MY COMPLAINT BECAUSE NO ONE FROM BRAKE CHECK HAS CONTATCED ME, IRREGARDLSS OF THEIR RESPONCE TO THE Revdex.comPlease contact me ASAP VIA E-MAIL about my above request within this, my responseThank you, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Several attempts have been made to contact the customer regarding a resolution with no successThe customer does not answer and there is no voicemail availableOnly a message stating "this provider is not available right now" The customer needs to contact [redacted] at ###-###-####- *** [redacted] , Corporate Director

Amy, I am sorry to hear of the disappointing experience you had at Brake CheckPlease let me apologize for any inconvenience you feel may have been caused to youI have forwarded your notes to a Operations Director who will be investigating this complaint

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Although I was told that a rim was on order, I still have not received word back on the status, and there were two rims that were damagedI won't be satisfied until I get the call that the rims are in and see how you elect to correct the issueI used discount tires before to replace the rim and sensor and then brought them to brake checkI have been told this is going to be taken care of beforeI am waiting for the final word and repair before I am okay with how this is being handled Regards, [redacted]

We understand and empathize with the customer's feelings regarding her experience with our company, however, we have worked with her on several occasions to rectify her issue at no additional costThere have also been at least two attempts made to contact Ms [redacted] to further diagnose the issue with no responseAt this time, we will not issue any refunds to the customer as services that were paid for were completed and vehicle proved to be in proper operating condition after road test- [redacted] ***, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is my reply: Please keep my above-numbered complaint open Brake Check has kindly responded with a message letting me know that they are looking into the matter and/or turning it over "to Corporate Director." That is fine, but I do not wish to be in further contact with the person I dealt with at Brake Check's store at [redacted] in [redacted] and I prefer to go through the Revdex.com service Equal to my complaint about Brake Check's still-uncorrected over-charges to my credit card, and bad service to my car---which I must now take to another shop---are my experiences of repeatedly "getting the run-around" at Brake Check, at the shop and by phone, with: changing explanations, excuses, reneged promises, and prices that are "moving targets"; not giving me accurate, updated paperwork to document what I was verbally told was done to my car at the second visit (removal of the unnecessary, ineffective $part, after the exhaust system failed state inspection immediately following Brake Check's prior "repair"); and the refusal, when I picked up the car after the second visit, to give me the VISA credit slip that had been promised only a few hours earlier---for credit that was due to me right then and there because Brake Check had removed that $part What was Brake Check's excuse for not processing and giving me the credit slip? Suddenly, the explanation was that it had to go through "Corporate." That is because Brake Check had to process a single transaction---just the credit, no separate charges---and "Corporate" had to tally the numbersAnd, Brake Check wanted to first get their refund for the $part On my own, I then estimated I was due at least $391, and based my Revdex.com complaint on that figure, but that was before I concluded the $muffler was an over-charge, using retail prices I got from the internet So, did any credit arrive, under the new promise, on Monday the 10th? No Nor on Tuesday But a new promise arrived on Wednesday, November 12th, by voicemailI have retained this voicemail It informed me that all the figures had been tallied up and a credit of $was being processed to my credit card, "hopefully getting it resolved for you today." So, I reported this to Revdex.com in order to avoid a negative, Revdex.com complaint about Brake Check on the web, and my complaint was temporarily closed And after that? I received a live phone call from Brake Check on Nov18th This time, a new story No credit was processed Suddenly, I owe another $ These are only most recent events contributing to my lack of confidence in Brake Check's good faith efforts, but they are consistent with my other experiences with Brake Check during this same "repair." We have been in contact with the customer and notified her that her refund was being processed and she should be in receipt of it shortly

Brake Check believes that if Mr [redacted] had any legal ground to stand on for his alleged claims we would have already heard from his attorney as he threatened to doBrake Check feels at this point, Mr [redacted] is attempting to ‘sling mud’ at a reputable business in order to get his wayBrake Check believes that Mr [redacted] took it upon himself to repair his vehicle, if this was actually done, because he knew we had no liability in the situationFortunately the judicial system is set up in a manner that protects individuals and business owners from this type of harassment I deeply apologize for not being able to get to a resolution that meets your satisfaction[redacted] E [redacted] ###-###-####

We refunded Mr*** $to cover the cost of his tires. The refund was approved and check has already been mailed. - *** ***, *** Director

I am rejecting this
response because: It does not resolve this complaint. I have been told previously that a Senior Advisor would be investigating my complaint, and nothing was done. On December 15, 2014, Brian Smith contacted me, and indicated he was assigned to investigate my complaint; however, he had no knowledge of the facts in my case. He advised that he would review my file and call back. It is now over a month later, and he, nor anyone else for that matter, has called back. Brake Check providing a response that they will forward to an Operations Director to investigate my complaint means very little considering the history of inaction with regard to my case. To date I have received none of my money back, no update on the status of my case, and no indication that Brake Check intends to resolve this complaint without the assistance of a third party
