*** the *** of the business stated that the work done by the business does not include any chemical that would be able to rust or harm a lockIt is a solution a customer can buy from a local home store and is an environmentally sound productThe employee the customer is referred to no longer
works for this business and the work that he did was a side job not known by the company and for cash so the customer did not have to pay the business’s price because they felt it was so expensesThis customer has already cheated this business by having the side job done and there is no way that the product used caused this issue three days after the work was doneThe business will not be refunding the price for the locks to be repaired

*** *** I read Bryant's Powerwashing response....I want to first clarify something....I never spoke to a tech let alone yell at one. The guys that came to my house were professional and friendlyI told the secretary who answered the phone thatThey were nice guys and I don't yell at anybody. I only spoke to the owner after the incidentSecondly, I faxed the charges to the company. They saw all the work that was doneMrB*** told me he wasn't an electrician but has a friend who is an insisted that my inside socket was already badThe electrician that came to house said that when the outside socket blew, it blew the inside one as wellMrB*** cussed and yelled on the phone when I didn't accept his dollar offer and hung up. I thought speaking to the owner I would have the same courteous and respectful attitude that his techs and secretary have....that isn't the caseI reject what I have just read

When we arrived at Mrs***' property on July 15, our technician *** spoke to Mr*** prior to starting any work and explained to him that they had waited too long to have their deck properly treated after it was installed and that there was a very good possibility that the
powerwashing would "fuzz" or rough up the deck due to the prolonged weathering of the deck without proper protection. After explaining the probable outcome, Mr*** told our technician *** to proceed with the cleaning as scheduled.Unfortunately the deck did fuzz up like we explained prior to any work being started. This will over time be something that will lay down. Our owner *** *** spoke to Mrs*** and explained everything to her. He did offer that if she would like to have someone (we have a contact she can call or contract someone else) come out and sand the roughed up areas of wood, we would be more than happy to send our technician out at no charge to apply another coat of sealant for her even though we told Mr*** up front what the outcome of the deck would most likely be.At this time we are waiting to hear back from Mrs*** as to what she would like to do. Please let us know if you have any questions or require any more information.Thank You,Bryant's Powerwashing

[redacted] continues to simply deny that his company damaged our front door despite the evidence, including witnesses, listed in our original complaint that the door had not deteriorated before his cleaning and was damaged immediately after his cleaning.  He won't even refund the cost of the power washing despite our obvious dissatisfaction. [redacted] did not offer to demonstrate how his power washing could not have caused the damage - he simply repeated several times that it could not have been his fault.  Even if he did demonstrate a low power now, it would not explain what happened the day of the damage.  The flaking present on the door was the paint that had been damaged by his power washing.  You cannot simply paint the door.  This door was custom made, with the paint baked on in the factory.  The door company confirmed that the damage was due to the power washing.  This was explained to [redacted] verbally and in writing.  Most telling is that [redacted] promised directly to my wife and me that he would contact the door company and "work it out with them."  He further promised that he would contact us within 2 days of our meeting.  We never heard from him, again, which was how he and his wife had dealt with us during this whole process.
Regards,
[redacted]

I contracted with Bryant's to have my and deck washed as well as weather treat the deck. .They did a good job on the house, but a terrible job on the deck. No even half of the old sealant came off. When I complained, I was told that they don't guarantee the removal of the old sealant, only the dirt a mold. I could have done as good a job with the water hose.

I knew nothing of a coupon for 25% off, I searched the Internet and found Bryants Powerwashing location and phone number.  I was told over the phone that Bryants was currently offering a special on power washing a house and a deck and a hot wax special.  I was not told what the power washing would entail, but assumed that if a company power washes a house they power wash the entire house because I was asked what the square footage of the house was, and I was given a price based on the square footage. I was never told what the full price would be to powerwash my house and/or deck separately or together, nor was I told what the full price would be when I was told that if I did not get the sealing I would have to pay full price. I guess by leaving out that powerwashing is $295 that's all Bryants could collect instead of $635.
I was not told that the roof, steps or even that small area over the window that had shingles on it would be a different cost, I don't understand why that small area over a bed room window on the side of the house could not have been cleaned, nor do I understand why the front steps could not be cleaned, these are parts of the house included in the square footage. I can understand the roof because it is high, but not the areas over the bedroom window and the front steps. As far a letting the tech come and seal the deck,   I had no choice in the matter. I did not want the deck sealed as too much time had lapsed, and I did not have the extra money, but I was told that if I did not have the deck sealed I would pay full price for the deck and house powerwash (which as I said before was not a very good job). And I was never given that full price, but the way it was inferred to me, it made it appear that the price would be outrageous.
I am not satisfied with the work that Bryant's Powerwashing performed, and I also believe the powerwashing service was misrepresented to me.  I propose paying the additional $84 ($295- $211.40 already paid), and being done with this matter.

Thursday, August 27, 2015 Revdex.com:I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[[redacted] statement is untrue.  His technician [redacted] did not discuss with my husband on 15 July as to what condition the deck would be if power washed.  Neither of the techs spoke to my husband prior to starting any work.  The noise from the power washing is what made him aware they were there.  The complaint stemmed from the July 23rd visit when the sealing and staining was done.  The company rep [redacted] said they would send someone out to evaluate the job and see what needed to be done to correct the problem.  After numerous phone calls to Bryant's a technician arrived on 3 Aug to re-seal and stain the deck that is when the conversation occurred with him and my husband.  The technician stated if he resealed and stained it again it would look as it does now,  at that point my husband told him if it’s going to look the same don’t bother he would call the office  the tech said that would be the best thing.  We were expecting to see someone who would address the issue not someone coming to repeat the process. I did not hear back from anyone until [redacted] called on 25 August.  In summation had he given me the courtesy of viewing the deck he would have seen what I was trying to explain to him.  And that is (1) the deck wasn’t totally stained,  there is a birds nest that was built an abandoned which is still in place.  (2)  in addition to the residue that is referred to as fuzz or as called by the  person who did the stain and seal (wood pulp), the side railings appear to be a totally different wood due to acumination of roughness, discoloration, and globs of whatever product was used.  It appears as though whatever product was used to power wash the siding on my house was also used to power wash my deck to give it that bleached out look.  It’s hard for me to understand how he can make a judgment on a finished project that he has not viewed yet he tells me that he will re-stain and sealed the deck but I have to have the floor and rails sanded first. He does not do sanding but his brother in law does and I can hire him

To Whom it May Concern,
[redacted] originally contacted our office on May 21, 2014 and scheduled to have her home powerwashed and waxed and the deck cleaned and sealed for the amount of $634.25.  This price included a 25% off coupon off of the house wash since she was having the deck cleaned...

and sealed at the same time. (The normal price for her home was $259 without the deck seal, but with the coupon her house wash price was deducted to $194.25)  We had [redacted] on schedule for Monday 6/16/2014 but unfortunately our technician did call in sick that day.  We spoke to [redacted] on Wednesday 6/18/2014 and got her right back on schedule for Thursday 6/19/2014.
When our technician arrived at [redacted]'s property he noticed that her deck currently had a [redacted] stain on the wood.  Our technician recommended reapplying the same product to ensure the most even coverage.  We explained to her that if we applied the [redacted] product that she supplied for us there would be an additional application fee of $225.  [redacted] opted not to have the [redacted] product applied and decided to have a clear sealant applied which would keep her price at the originally quoted price of $634.25.
When [redacted] expressed to us that she did not want to have the deck sealed any longer, we explained to her that if she did not have the deck sealed she would no longer qualify for the 25% off coupon for her house wash. (It plainly states in our advertisement that you can only receive 25% off of the house wash if you have the deck cleaned and sealed at the same time)  Our [redacted] also told [redacted] that if she would like to proceed with the sealing on the deck, she was willing to allow [redacted] to make three payments to satisfy the total amount due.  This is not a payment arrangement we typically offer, we normally expect payment in full the day the work is completed.  Our [redacted] was trying to work with [redacted] so she could get all the work done she requested.  [redacted] agreed to this arrangement and we proceeded to seal the deck with the clear sealant.
When [redacted] contacted our office after all of the work was completed and told us that the steps and area of roofing on the side of her home were not cleaned she was explained that those areas were not included in the work she requested.  When she originally called and scheduled, she was informed that the house wash would include cleaning all siding from the front of the gutters down and we would also rinse all windows and window trim as a courtesy during the powerwashing process.  Any additional items including for example steps, sidewalks, roofing, etc. are additional.  [redacted] assumed that the steps and roofing would be done with the house wash, but never asked specifically if they were included.
We have completed all work that [redacted] requested and expect payment in full.  We have received one payment in the amount of $211.45 so the remaining balance owed is $422.80 and are still willing to accept the remaining balance in two payments.  We would be more than happy to clean the steps and area of roofing for [redacted] but there would be an additional fee since those items were not included in the work she was originally quoted for.
Please let us know if there are any other questions or if any other information is needed.
Thank You,
Bryant's Powerwashing

To Whom It May Concern,This email is in reference to complaint #[redacted] & complaint #[redacted]:All cleaning products that our company uses is environmentally friendly.  We use a citrus based solution that does have a small 3% by volume of chlorine that helps to remove any...

mold, algae, or mildew off of the siding.  This amount is far less than you would find in a swimming pool.  We do not use bleach to do the cleaning.  No damage was done to any of the customers property by our cleaning process and to our knowledge both customers were very satisfied with the outcome of the cleaning. Please let us know if you need any additional information or have any other questions.  And for future reference, can you please email correspondence also to this email address, [redacted]Thank You,TabithaBryant's Powerwashing

Mr. B[redacted] analogy does not accurately resemble the facts and demonstrates that he is not listening to his customer.  In his analogy [redacted] and [redacted] both provide food services.  Bryant's powerwashing does not provide electrical services, so why would I ask a powerwashing company to fix electrical damage?  I gave Bryant's Powerwashing a day to respond and could not risk fire or further electrical damage or prolonged lapse in HVAC service resulting from this incident.  Sticking with Mr. B[redacted] food theme, here is closer version of that analogy: This would be like having a dinner at [redacted] and being satisfied by the food, but shortly after realizing that the food had caused food poisoning and reporting it that same day.  After waiting a day without response and going to the emergency room to get treatment the customer sends the bill for that treatment to [redacted].  The reality is that Mr. B[redacted] powerwasher was accidentally sprayed at point blank range directly at a power box on my home and caused damage that had to be repaired by an electrician a day later.  Accidents happen.  I completely understand that.  I am simply looking to be reimbursed for the damage caused by Bryant's Powerwashing.

Revdex.com spoke with the business. The side of the home that gets the most sunlight is having the issue with oxidation. If it was a problem with the chemicals the business used the entire home would have an issue not just one side. No refund will be provided as the issue is caused by nature not their...

business’s wrongdoing.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not satisfied with the response that no damage was done to my property. My "Exhibition Roses" were damaged by the Chemical when Bryant's said was perfectly harmless.
I would like a full refund, which isn't nearly  enough to compensate for my loss.

Below I have copied and pasted the email correspondence where their employee [redacted] told me that a pamphlet would be left that would allow me to choose a color and I did not get this pamphlet, so they chose to put clear sealant on themselves:
[redacted] May 15to me
[redacted],
For us to clean and seal the entire deck (all flooring, railings, support beams and banboards) would be a total of $320.  We offer either a clear sealant or do have a few different color selections, whichever you would prefer.  Our sealant comes with a two year weather proofing warranty, meaning it will repel water and protect the wood for up to two years.
We are scheduling for within a week to a week and a half for the work to be started.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule.  I look forward to hearing back from you!
They did not follow through with this and I maintain that they took my money and did nothing.

To [redacted] myself [redacted] went to [redacted] house onJune 16, 2014 and looked at door. His door had some type of coating on it,which was flaking off. I explained to [redacted] that we use low pressure and ourchemical we use is a [redacted] product which is 100% bio degrable bought at [redacted]...

[redacted].I told customer that I could demonstrate to show him that it is impossible forthis to happen,  he said no way yourcompany did it I was willing to provide myself [redacted] refused for me to showhim- all he wanted was insurance information and nothing else. I told [redacted]if he bought paint I would send painter out to paint door because we were thelast person out there. He also rejected me on that Bryants is not responsiblefor anything. When power washing a home it is impossible to not clean doorwater and chemicals will run down home. Again if [redacted] would have let me showhim how we clean with low pressure he would also no that Bryant’s power-washingdid no damage.

Three sides of my home gets full sun.  If oxidation was the issue you would see the washed out look on the three sides.  The one side that is not as sunny looks just like the front and other side of the house.  The house is only 5 years old and should not look this way.

To Whom It May Concern,On 10/10/2016 my company power washed Mr. [redacted] home.  Mr. [redacted] emailed my company late that day stating the issue that he had.  He didn't even our company the opportunity to respond to his complaint before he hired another company to come out and fix the problem...

with the electrical box.  Myself, Steve B[redacted], left numerous messages for Mr. [redacted] but was not able to get him on the phone, I finally left a detailed message explaining that my company uses a low pressure cleaning process.  We start at the top of the home and work our way half way down the house and then the water runs down the other half of the house.  We have been doing this same cleaning method for 18 years.  This cleaning process is no different than rain running down the home. As far as the other home Mr. [redacted] referenced, that customer had an outside outlet that did not have a cover box to protect it which was no fault from Bryant's.  If Mr. [redacted] would have waited to hear from our company, he would have been explained that the box would have air dryed and been fine.  But obviously he was in a hurry to fix immediately without talking to my company.  Bryant's Powerwashing is not responsible for this charge at all.  This would be like having a dinner at [redacted] and you didn't like the food, so you go to [redacted] and then bill [redacted] for it.  In future, Mr. [redacted] should talk to original contactor before contracting another company.Sincerely,Steve B[redacted]

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I paid for the original services by check for $245.  I will wait for the business to promptly provide a check for $122.50 (the offered 50% refund) by check to my address and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I will contact you at: [redacted].
I continue to frustrated by the company's attitude.  Some of my flowers are very clearly dead and not just "shocked."  While the technician said the product was [redacted] from [redacted], there are multiple such products, none of which are citrus-based as advertised on the website and all of them require dilution, contrary to the technician's representations.  I am dumbfounded as to why it is so difficult to simply send us the exact product name with the product information sheets and remove any confusion about which product the company uses.
I am concerned about the company promptly responding and would appreciate your assistance in facilitating this matter.  I really hope it doesn't take another month to reach resolution.
