This resolution is in reference to complaint number: [redacted] Please be advised that the CNP Area Service Center has investigated the complaint submitted by: [redacted] in regards to the service address of: [redacted] *** It is our understanding that the customer has been in direct contact with the Area Service Center regarding this complaint based on the following information: March 2, – 3:45PM The customer contacted us yesterday and I returned his call today with no answerWe are trying to find a time we have crew resources available to complete the jobThe customer is correct in that it was CenterPoint who dropped the ball on this oneOnce I have a confirmed date, I will notify the customerThe work will take at leastfull days and maybe 3; not one March 3, – 7:51AM We had a crew supervisor field check the work yesterdayBased on his feedback, the job will be restated today and material order placedIt will take about a week to deliver material and days for the constructionWe left a voicemail for Mr [redacted] with the same information this morning at 7:48am If the customer has any other questions, please contact the Area Service Center, as they have made several attempts to contact and resolveIf there are other questions, please feel free to contact Customer Service at 1-800-752- Respectfully, CenterPoint Energy Executive Administration Office

This is in response to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] submitted by [redacted] residing at [redacted] ** ***.Upon receipt of the complaint, in regards to the damaged electric appliance and power surges the issue was forwarded to our Claims Department for review Once completed, a response will be submitted from the Claims Department.In response to the concerns outlined by Ms [redacted] regarding her electric bills we regret we will be unable to assist with this matterPlease allow us to clarify that CenterPoint Energy is a TDSP (Transmission and Distribution Company) for electric service in the Greater Houston, Texas areaWe own, maintain, and repair the power lines and other electrical equipment used to deliver and register electricity usage We are not, however, an electric provider or company that sells/bills customers for electricity Therefore, we would direct Ms [redacted] to contact her provider to discuss all billing issues including price per kilowatt, number of billing days, seasonal temperature variances, retail electric provider related charges and other factors that influence the amount of the bill, as CenterPoint Energy does not have access to Ms [redacted] ’s billing records.Respectfully, Angela [redacted]

This is in response to Revdex.com complaint# [redacted] submitted by Mr [redacted] regarding the premise at [redacted] Friendswood, TX *** Upon receipt of the complaint, we immediately forwarded Mr [redacted] ’s request to our CenterPoint Energy Claims Department for handlingOn this same day we received an email confirmation from the Claims Department that Claim Number [redacted] was initially received on June 14, 2015, and regrettably the claim was denied Please notice the attached letter that was mailed to Mr [redacted] on June 16, from CenterPoint Energy Claims Department and a copy of the tariff was also mailed to the customer On July, 8, 2015, MsGreta W [redacted] in our Claims Department made immediate contact with Mr [redacted] and the denial of the claim based on the tariff we operate under was explained in detailMr [redacted] was advised that we regret the list of other appliances as mentioned in the attached letter, unfortunately do not fall into a category where he can be reimbursed or assisted with the repair or replacement of those itemsPlease understand that CenterPoint Energy makes reasonable provisions to supply steady and continuous electric service to its customer, but we do not guarantee service against fluctuations or interruptions Mr [redacted] was informed that CenterPoint Energy has established a fund that provides assistance for certain electrically damaged essential appliances, i.e., refrigerators, air conditioners and stoves Mr [redacted] committed to submitting the invoice for the refrigerator and upon receipt of this information a recommendation will be made in regards to the fund amountAgain, please be advised that payment from this fund is not payment of his claim, but is made in an effort to express our appreciation of Mr [redacted] as a customer Additionally, he was advised that a check will be mailed for the replacement of his surge protector We appreciate the opportunity to research this issueWe sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that Mr [redacted] may have undergone as a result of this matterWe regret that this complaint cannot be satisfied to the customer’s desire through this officeShould Mr [redacted] have any additional questions or concerns regarding claim [redacted] we strongly recommend that he contact CenterPoint Energy Claims Department at 207-7722, as this office is not at liberty and does not have the jurisdiction to overturn and/or grant any claim made against CenterPoint Energy Respectfully, Natalie E [redacted] CenterPoint Energy

This is in response to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] submitted by [redacted] regarding bad debt on file with the credit reporting agencies.Upon receipt of the complaint, the issue was forwarded to our Credit Department for review.Ms [redacted] will be receiving a letter explaining their findings Respectfully,Angela [redacted]

We reviewed the account and found that Ms [redacted] was only charged one time for the same day fee for the order scheduled for 2/23/ It was explained that the same day fee will be applicable Ms [redacted] called on 2/22/to inform us that she found a yellow tag on her door which indicated that the technician had already been to her addressAccording to our records, it did not show that the technician had attempted the order yet As a result, the order was rescheduled for that day and the fee was waived We appreciate Ms [redacted] for being a good customer and giving us the opportunity to respond to her concernKind regards,Angela [redacted]

This resolution is in response to complaint number: [redacted] .This complaint has been investigated by the appropriate department within our company Our records indicate that the charges are correct The customer called into on 04/30/at 8:18PM and reported "Lights Out" Our records show that a crew was dispatched and were on-site from 9:48PM until 10:06PM Our crew concluded that the problem was with the customer's electric equipment and not CNP's equipmentRespectfully, Executive Administration Office

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint While CenterPoint has worked to initiate the process as described in their email, the issue that I contacted the Revdex.com will not be resolved until the claims department actually follows through on their proposal to fix the yard Indeed, they called me two days ago and informed me that they would be working to correct the problem, but I have not heard back since then Therefore, while I appreciate the effort to connect me with the claims department, the real issue is that the gas grill line is damaged and has been for several weeks The resolution is thus pending until direct action is taken by CenterPoint to correct this problem.Thank you, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: This letter is to inform you that CenterPoint Energy has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 8/6/8:45:AM and assigned ID [redacted] Regards,They have closed the hole, put dirt in and put new grass on the area The curb is still damageed The Contractor forman told my wife that they did not damage the curb and do not have heavy enough equipment to have damaged the curbWe have contacted the [redacted] to repair the curb.....Now we wait for action

We would like to thank the Revdex.com for being an avenue for customers to voice their concerns After sending a “DELETE” request to the Credit Bureaus, CenterPoint Energy has no further actions involving this concern CenterPoint Energy doesn’t have any control how rapidly the information is removed It normally takes from to days for the Bureaus to update their files to reflect the deletion Once a request has been sent to the bureaus, it is their responsibility to remove the entry from the customer’s file If the Credit Bureaus DO NOT, the customer will have to dispute directly with that particular bureau Regards

Based on our findings CenterPoint Energy was not negligent in disconnecting Ms [redacted] ’s natural gas service for non-payment and we regret we will be unable to waive the reconnect fees We value Ms [redacted] as our customer and sincerely regret any inconvenience that she may have undergone as a result of this matter CenterPoint Energy Executive Administrative Office

This is in response to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] submitted by Ms [redacted] regarding the premise at [redacted] *** Upon receiving Ms [redacted] ’s complaint immediate action was taken to investigate what took place with her reconnection orderOur records revealed that Ms [redacted] entered a reconnection order through the CenterPoint Energy online services on 10/26/and scheduled her order for 10/27/When a customer creates an order online or through a customer service agent, a tracking number is provided in order for the customer to check the status of their order throughout the dayUnfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, all field technicians within the area were routed to a major gas emergency that carried over throughout the next day We acknowledge this was an inconvenience and show that compensation was given by a supervisorThe deposit was waived for the 10/27/order and the service initiation fee was waived for the 10/28/orderWe can assure you that your dissatisfaction is not taken lightly We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience and understanding Regards, Angela [redacted] Executive Administration Office
