Review: On Friday, 10/3/14 at 12:49pm (according to receipt time) I purchased $55.86 worth of items from Buffalo Wild Wings. This was a call-in order for pick-up. One of the items was Burger Slammers for $9.29. When I received the order all packaged up, I left the BWW store and returned to work. At work, I opened up the 4 boxes and there were no sliders. I proceeded to call the store and explained about the missing items. I was placed on hold and then a manager, [redacted], came on the line. She asked how many boxes I had in the bag, I explained four, she said that the employee claims she put all the items in the bag. I could also hear the employee in the background indicating such. I explained that the "takeout quality" receipt had no check marks in the 5 sections nor a name of who checked it. It also did not have the burger slammers listed on it. I asked the manager if they could deliver the missing items to me and she said no. In addition, she said the only thing she could do was send me an email with with a $10 gift certificate. I asked if I could get the credit card credited and she said no. I explained my concerns over getting an email and then bringing that into the store as then the employees would know I was a person who "complained" and that I worry about the quality of the food on the next trip as a result. She indicted that if I worry about that then maybe I shouldn't ever come back to BWW again in the future. [redacted] indicated she would send me this email and as of Saturday, 10/4/14 I received nothing. In addition, as I was explaining my concerns, the manager hung up on me. Prior to my receiving my order, I watched the worker go through the previous customers order with her and open each package. This was not done with mine.Desired Settlement: - That [redacted] rego through customer service training (arguing with customer and hanging up are inappropriate).

- That BWW offers credit card credits if they make a mistake rather than a gift certificate.

- That BWW completes the "takeout quality" checklist if they are going to attach it to an order.

- That BWW goes through the checkout items with the customer to make sure they are correct.

Response:

Hi [redacted] I just was checking my balance for my account and found that BWW credited my account as follows:

For starters, our greeter was hardly talking loud enough for us to hear her. Despite the fact that it was busy, there seemed to be no organization or direction for the employees. There were waiters and waitresses just leaning on the walls and talking to each other, which makes me wonder why I had to wait 20 minutes for ONE drink. We had a quite yet wonderful waitress who did all she could to bring us our food and drinks. We requested to switch seats because the high-top table we were originally seated at was wobbling like a rocking chair and would never be able to eat a meal off it. Our beers were brought out in a timely manor but when it comes to our food, it's a completely different story. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for our food. We ordered a side salad and two medium boneless chicken wing meals. Nothing more. once I was done with my beer I ordered a very simple and small cocktail drink. I finally got it 20 minutes later. I could tell our waitress was frustrated like we were that she had to wait so long at the bar to bring my drink to me.
Now, the cherry on top is that I got food poisoning. This is the second time in the last 5 months that I've gotten food poisoning from a Buffalo Wild Wings. Both locations were in Milwaukee and I can honestly say that I will never be a customer at a Buffalo Wild Wings again. I'm disappointed because I used to really enjoy boneless wings from BWW.

Review: On 11-**-15, at approximately 2150 hrs, my girlfriend and I were sitting in the Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant on [redacted] ([redacted]) watching the UFC fight. Three men were siting at a table next to a man and his girlfriend. Both parties were drinking and the man siting with his girlfriend were complaining about the three males bumping their table. A security guard (brown skin black male approximately 5 10' with a slim build), who refused to give his name, tapped a man (sitting at the table with the three men), and asked him to step away from the table and talk to him.

A short time later, he returned to his seat. Then a fight broke out. The table I was sitting at was knocked over. The same security guard who tapped the male on the shoulder broke it up and had him stand by the bathroom. I thought the fight was controlled and the aggressor was removed from the restaurant, "I" picked up the tables that were knocked over during the fight and tried to calm down one of the males who had been fighting and was still agitated. Afterwards, I continued to watch the fight on the television.

Keep in mind, my girlfriend was sitting next to me and some of the drinks that I paid for were spilled. However, I thought the proper precautions were taken at that point.

Approximately 10 minutes later, a second fight broke out between the "same" people. This fight involved the same three men sitting at the table next to me and the man and his girlfriend (total = 5 people). At this point, I feared for my safety, the safety of my girlfriend and the safety of the people who were trying to enjoy the fight.

At this time, I intervened. I walked over to the male (who was sitting at the table of three males) who was fighting and advised him to calm down. I attempted to walk over to the other male and girlfriend who was fighting. My intent was to get them to leave the restaurant to prevent a melee. I was told by Wild Wings staff that I couldn't speak to the people who were fighting after I identified myself as a police officer. One female worker asked to see my badge. When I showed her my badge, she stated "Do your job". A large group of Buffalo Wild Wing employees continued to yell profanities at me. The security guard who had previously tapped the individual on the shoulder began to threaten me and made moves as if he was going to strike me. This is after I had identified myself as a police officer.

I saw a second security guard, a dark skin heavy set black male, identified myself and told him he should escort the people out before another fight broke out. He brought me into the kitchen and was trying to call 911. I even helped them dial 911 to call the police because the other employees said the phone didn't work.

After the officers arrived, they escorted the three men out of the restaurant. The other man and his girlfriend had already left. No arrests were made.

I then wanted to complain about the unprofessional behavior of the staff and the security guard. I was trying to get the manager's attention, then he went in the kitchen. I was waiting next to the kitchen for several minutes. When the door opened, I partially went in the kitchen to see if he was there (I had previously been invited into the kitchen during the incident). The same security guard who had threatened me slammed the kitchen door in my face and caused the door to hit my shoulder. Then he came out of the kitchen and continued to threaten me with another Wild Wings employee who advised that I shouldn't have gone in the kitchen. I also observed the security guard threaten to fight a random customer for looking at him.

Then the manager, who also refused to give his name, came out of the kitchen. I told him I needed to speak to him. I told him I have never experienced the unprofessional behavior at a restaurant. I told him that I wanted his name. I was told the manager's name is Havier. He is a short, heavy set [redacted] male. He advised he would not give me his name and that if I wanted to file a complaint on him, the officers will need to come back so they would know my part in the fight. Then he disappeared. My girlfriend was also trying to identify the names of the female employees who were using profanity at me. My girlfriend advised that the waitresses using profanity went into the kitchen to remove their name tags so they wouldn't be identified. To make matters worse, as my girlfriend and me were leaving the restaurant, the security guard who had previously threatened me took of his jacket and threatened to fight us (me and my girlfriend ).

After we left, my girlfriend advised me that during the commotion of the fight, she lost her $300 watch. We also paid an 80 dollar bill that included drinks that I didn't finish. Not to mention a terrible experience at this establishment.Desired Settlement: I am requesting my money for my girlfriend's 300 dollar watch and reimbursement of the 80 dollar bill. I am also requesting the name of the security guard so I can file a formal complaint against him with his company.

The staff needs to be trained how to handle incidents like this better. If someone was just involved in a fight, why were they allowed to stay? This put everyone in danger. This incident was poorly handled.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Buffalo Wild Wings regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: On 2/**/15 I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings with my friends and family, there were 8 of us. It was one of the worst eating experiences of my life. The waiter spilled a glass of soda on the floor below our table and never cleaned it up. The soda was all over our shoes. The food took forever to come out and when it came it was not even hot. The appetizers were far too small for a restaurant like this. We had to ask at least 3 times for extra napkins. I considered taking this complaint to [redacted] but I know how unfair [redacted] can be so I thought I would do it with the Revdex.com first as I know they are fair and just.Desired Settlement: Refund or credit of $100.87., the price paid.

BWW’s complaint

This review is about the Buffalo Wild wings located on Starkey Road, Roanoke VA. This BWW’s used to be my favorite place to take my family and friends. Within the last few months the management has been horrible. (If you have a larger party it's almost impossible to get seated in a timely manner if not at all. A two to three hour wait is their new normal. If you are at BWW’s and have a large party pay attention to the smaller parties checking in after you arrived. You will notice that after a couple hours wait the manager will seat small parties that have just arrived. They will continue to seat smaller new parties even when larger existing parties leave. They break up the joined tables to seat other small parties that arrived much later than you. How can they ever expect to seat larger parties if they have such poor seating skills?) The management problem is partially due to a new inexperienced manager that has no people person skills. This new manager is rude, cocky and has no idea how to seat customers according to when they arrive. Month before last and last month (Jon Jones and Cormier fight) the restaurant was dangerously crowded. This new manager was seating nine people at tables designed to seat four. There were young children sitting randomly in the floor. If this restaurant ever had a fire or a major situation you would get trampled by people trying to maneuver through the overcrowded restaurant. If you plan to visit this restaurant I would recommend a party of nine or less. As I said they can seat nine at a table for four. If you want to be comfortable while dining I would recommend a party of four or less. Don't get me wrong, I love going to BWW's. I just don't like the way we’re being treated be the new management, the dangerous conditions and the lack of management when it comes to seating parties of nine or more. I hope that BWW’s can improve on the issues I've mentioned. I sent an email to what I thought was BWW's main headquarters and so far the response I’ve received from the management of BWW’s if very negative. No one from upper management has contacted me. The only person that contacted me from BWW's is one of the managers that were listed in the complaint. His name is Blake Powell. Blake is upset with me for mentioning the Roanoke Fire Marshall to his new manager. Blake told me that night in his restaurant that if I ever mentioned the Fire Marshall in HIS store that he would have my party of nine and myself removed from HIS store. When he said this to me the Roanoke County fire marshals best friend was sitting right beside us when he made the threat. I understand that the fire marshals friend filed a complaint that same evening. If you need to speak to fire marshals friend I can get his phone number for you. He was a witness to everything in my complaint and the dangerous conditions. Here is Blake's emailed response:

Mr. Etter,

I know that you and your family have patronized the Tanglewood location for quite some time now for UFC events. After the last few incidents during your visits, it is apparent to me that we continue to fall short of your expectations and are no longer able to accomodate you. I appreciate the feedback that you have provided, and will keep it in mind moving forward. With that being said, I am going to respectfully ask that you not come back to our location. I sincerely hope that you are able to find another business that can meet your needs so that you and your family can continue to enjoy the fights.

Best wishes,

Blake Powell

My response to Blake’s email.

PS, I don't think Blake should throw us out of this restaurant due to my complaint that involves the safety and comfort of their customers!

I would like for the Revdex.com to contact me so I can request my resolution to my problem with BWW's on Starkey Road, Roanoke, VA

Thanks, Ray Etter

Review: My family and I dined at the Mission Viejo restaurant on 4/20,We left the restaurant and forgot my daughters Hello Kitty doll and my sons Maui Jim's pair of sunglass. As soon as we got home we realized that we left these items there, so I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with [redacted], who informed me that they did find the sunglasses and the doll. She said she will place the items up front and I can stop by at any time to pick it up, the next morning I stopped by and sure enough my sunglasses and doll are no where to be found, I asked to speak with a manager and [redacted] came up. I explained to him the situation and he says let me look into it and I will call you back by this evening, No phone call from [redacted] that evening or the next day, During the week I left three messages for him with no phone call back. On Friday that week I called again and this time spoke with a different manager who knew nothing about my situation, she assured me she will speak with [redacted] that night and either her or [redacted] will call me back, again no phone call back from anyone. on Sunday I called again and left another message for [redacted]. Monday at 10:00pm [redacted] calls me back finally and says he is sorry but there is nothing he can do and the only thing they are willing to do is offer an apology, the restaurant has a policy that they are not responsible for anything that was left at their establishment. Not one person during the entire week that I have called has ever said that to me.Desired Settlement: I would like them to replace the items they lost while it was in their custody

Review: I went into this store location a while back for a party I was having for friends. It was their Birthday and I had purchased a lot of wings and wraps and drinks. The total came up to $120.55 and I was charged twice on my card for this. I have emailed the customer service email address with no response to the issue. I just gave up on the issue at hand. I am very upset about this situation and feel it needs to be taken care of. I love this place and spend a lot of money there and would be satisfied with a gift card for my troubles.Desired Settlement: I just want this made right and not feel like I am being swept under the rug

Review: Last night my friends and I decited to go to buffalo wild wings of Bear delaware after work for food and drinks. Three drinks and two shots later our waitress informed us we had reached our limit and where cut off?! We where NOT drunk we where NOT being loud , & where not causing a seen. I have no idea why a sports bar would abide by such a odd drinking policy that would not allow there customers to even catch a buzz. Needless to say we won't be coming back any time soon.Desired Settlement: I would like the owner to explain why they have this policy and appologise for the poor service we received.
