I am rejecting this response because:"Typically only one security deposit is paid and refunded per apartment unit pursuant to the Texas Apartment Association Lease" is a true statement, but its inclusion in the response is misleadingI rented out my own unit, #***, and my roommates did as wellEach unit even required its own guarantorThe Village at Riverside was primarily student housingEach apartment was rented out by room, and each room had a separate lease. I appreciate that the Lynd Company will look into the matter, but I do wonder why my deposit was not transferred to the Unclaimed Property Division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts before the records were removed from storageI believe that this is an error that resulted from the transfer of management

Copper Creek provides the following response to ***'s complaint:Neighbor: Copper Creek accommodated *** *** with a transfer just as requested. Management was prepared to send the neighbor a notice of violation, however, *** *** specifically asked management to wait
until after her transfer. Copper Creek complied with this request.Roaches: Based on the urgency of *** ***'s transfer request, unit *** was the only unit available. Nonetheless, Unit *** had been treated for roaches and thoroughly cleaned prior to her transfer. *** *** was advised of the recent treatment and it has been over six months since any roach issues have been reported. Lease: Transferring to a different unit requires the signing of a new lease. All new leases are for a minimum term of one year per policy.Taking the above into consideration, Copper Creek declines *** ***'s proposed resolution

The allegations made by *** *** are unfounded Management has communicated the requirement to obtain new parking decals on over sixth occasions over the last six months More particularly, the FIRST notice about the new parking decals was emailed and hand delivered on
December 16, The SECOND notice about the new parking decals was emailed and hand delivered on February 2, This notice stated in big letters "LAST WARNING!" The THIRD notice of the new parking decals was emailed and hand delivered on February 3, This notice contained a picture of the new decalsThe FOURTH notice of the new decals was emailed and hand delivered on March 17, This notice stated "LAST WARNING!" "if you do not have a car decal you will be towed at your own expense." Management also walked the entire property to place notices on every vehicle that did not have the new parking decals. The FIFTH notice of the new parking decals was emailed and hand delivered on April 27, The SIXTH notice of the new parking decals was emailed and hand delivered on May 4, Vehicle towing started on May 4, As of May 4, 2016, if a vehicle is parked in resident parking without the new parking decal it will be towed

When *** *** renewed his lease the rent increased by $ This is standard and reflects market rent Service requests must be submitted in writing pursuant to Mr***'s Lease Contract There are no service requests prior to this week for the issues that Mr*** has
raised This week management walked Mr***'s apartment and was informed of the following issues: (i) drawer in the kitchen is off tract, (ii) counter top comes up, (iii) sheet rock needs to be caulked above the A/C vent, (iv) dishwasher does not clean all of the food off of his dishes, and (v) bathtub is turning black Management has diligently addressed these issues as follows: (i) dishwasher is to be replaced by 7/9/15, (ii) bathtub is scheduled to be resurfaced 7/8/at 1:pm, and (iii) other issues are to be addressed by 7/9/Therefore, management does not agree to Mr***'s desired resolution

Mr***'s deposit has been available for pickup at the office Management attempted to contact him on numerous occasions to let him know it was available However, he didn't even attempt to pick it up until Tuesday, September 22,

We have reviewed the complaint and in doing so, do not have record of a lease held by a *** *** at Whispering Pines ApartmentsAlthough there is not a lease held by Ms***, are continuing to address any issues with our current pest control companyWe ask that she notify the lease

I am rejecting this response because: the "Management" is claiming this to be retaliation, which in fact it is not The fact of the matter is this, that management does not have to follow the rules, but tenants must uphold them, regardless of the situation Just as in the apartment manager having "Louisiana" tags still, even though she has lived here longer than days And, just yesterday, I observed another "Manager" parking in the handicapped spot, in which she is not handicapped nor does she have a handicap placard or license plates I can continue on and on with this This location, in Sherwood has had so many problems and issues in the past That, I will go to the North Little Rock Housing agency and the Veterans Affairs VASH program manager and make a formal complaint And that, they may also want to look into fraud and mismanaged monies I would not recommend this location to anymore of my fellow veterans I did not serve my country, overseas, in war to be treated like this here I will not tolerate it.Rules and laws are ment to apply to everyone, not only to just be broken by employees of the Lynd company We all have broken them, so the consequences apply to all of us, not just the tenants

I am glad that the State of Security Deposit Accounts for my account could be foundI never received this document but had I received it in a timely manner, it still does not contain an itemized list of damages as required by statuteI believe that I am entitled to a full refund of my security deposit.I am also concerned about a few details in the documentI did consent to being charged a $renter's insurance fee and a $refundable security deposit when I signed my leaseHowever, I was never subject to an additional month-to-month fee of $and I never paid $at one timeI find your statement worrying because, as per the "On Hand" list, it claims that I paid a month-to-month fee that I was never subject toI only resided on the property during my leasing termMy brother and I promptly moved out of the apartment unit at the same time with the same vehicle on 7/31/We each filled out a forwarding address form at the time of move out, and I believe that we both provided the management office with our separate pairs of keysI was not made aware of any missing keys at the time of my moving out.Do you still have a copy of my lease in your files? I am rejecting this response because: "Clearly you guys are not reading what we are saying correctlyWhat we are asking is for the remainder of our rent that we paid for the month of FebruaryHow does wear and tear not include carpet that you clean before someone rents it anyway? And the ledger states that $is for carpet replacement, so did you replace the carpet or clean the carpet?It should be noted that when *** *** went into the office to get pictures and a final bill, *** told her that the apartment was filthy and they were going to charge for a deep clean but I have included a picture that *** had in our folderIt states that the apartment was only due a small cleaningSo again, which is it? Deep clean or small clean?Regarding the three bedrooms, *** *** was told to put in a request so that they could hold the apartment for us when it was coming up for vacancy in a couple of months(Picture of the letter with date included)He was also told everything would transfer over for us, we would have to pay the difference in the deposit and prorated rent if we moved in after the firstWhere would we pull this information from if it had not been told us? Finally, the clogged sink was discussed when we called and told them verbally about us choosing to take them up on their offer to let us out of our leaseAfter days of not getting it fixed, we put in a request in the online portal so that we would have the proofThis apartment complex likes to try to cover things up constantly(picture of the phone log from 2/13/2017) We asked to be let out of our lease on 2/13/and discussed the plumbing issueWhy would we have been on the phone for three minutes just for you to okay us being let out of our lease?On 2/3/2017, we paid our rent, we were given a $concession due to having a hole in our ceiling for more than a month and no one had come to fix it(Picture of rent being paid on the 3rd and ledger where they had to take off the $on 2/13/2017)Taking the above into consideration, *** *** *** *** *** DO NOT agree to Towne Oaks Apartment Homes/ The Lynd Company desired resolution."

I am rejecting this response because: I was offered handicap options as an alternative and I did not want handicap options All of this is documented in my email transcripts The ONLY reason I submitted the online application fee was because I was PROMISED a specific apartment Once I was told that apartment was no longer available I asked for my money back You cannot keep part of my application and admin fee because your employee lied to me You cannot keep part of my application and admin fee because all you had left in the A4b model was handicap options Please refund me the total amount since I was misinformed and ultimately stolen from

The property has contracted with a towing company to manage the parking situation The towing company is authorized to remove any inoperable vehicle and vehicles with expired tags, as in this case Therefore, this dispute is between the resident and the towing company Management
believes that this complaint is retaliation for notices of violation issued to MsSzymanski for her unauthorized occupant and eviction proceedings related to her non-payment of rent

I am rejecting this response because:Those statements were I posted a service request less than six months agoI was told that there was going to be a guy out to spray everywhere so I emptied out my cabinets and only downstairs was sprayedI STILL have roaches, and they are doing nothing about them so what is the point to continue putting in request if they are doing nothing about itAnd in the first place I would not have had to switch apartments if someone who wasn't on a lease wasn't living there in the first placeI did not switch apartments just because I wanted to! It was for my safety!!And who cares if I asked for you to wait to send the letter until after I moved the point is he was still living there up until recently! and the only reason they are probably out now is because their lease is probably up now! The girl who did all my paperwork told me everything was just transferring overIf they are not going to give me what I want I would like corporates number
