The complaint filed by [redacted] is hereby acknowledged as received I, too, had a little bit of a difficult time finding Ms [redacted] 's claim; so, I called her to ask a few questions, which assisted me in locating her claim In doing so, she advised that she did speak with a representative of our company yesterday (12/28), who provided her with a claim number and the name of her assigned adjuster She was further advised that an appraiser would make contact with her within hours to set up an inspection of the damaged vehicle.Some of the confusion resulted from the wrong company name being provided in her complaint In order to ensure proper identification, here are the following specifics related to this claim: Insured Name: [redacted] (husband of ***) Name of Insurance Company: National Automotive Insurance Company Policy No [redacted] Claim No [redacted] I expect this claim will proceed according to our processes and procedures from this point forwardScott [redacted] Manager, Regulatory Affairs [email protected]

I have had them months and already nothing but bad experiencesThe reps and adjusters are rudeThey are no helpI'm paying for full coverage and not getting the services I pay forI reported a hit and run and they pretty much told me I would have to pay it myselfPretty ridiculousAs soon as I find another insurance company I will be switchingThen I called to make a complaint about the adjuster left a voicemail for her supervisor and got no call backHow professional that isI would not recommend anyoneI'm feeling like I'm throwing money away being with this companyDo not waste you time

My vehicle was parked at my job, is where a year old girl driving with no licbacked into my car pulling out of the parking lot, somehow has insurance on her vehicle, I contact NGI to start a claim to fix my vehicle, I got a call from someone by the name of Lindsey [redacted] , and adjuster by the name of James [redacted] When I spoke to Mrs [redacted] she advised me that Mr [redacted] will call me to make an appointment to check out my vehicle, mind you he left a messageI tried to call him back to schedule that appointment and he didn't answermin after calling, my wife was home and he just showed up and was looking at my vehicleMy wife was explaining the situation with my car and what needs to be checked, Mr [redacted] Didn't say a word, then told my wife I will receive a copy of the estimate that he founf by pm that night and got in the vehicle and leftI waited till midnight and didn't receive the emailThe following morning I called Mr [redacted] in ref to concern that I have not received the email and never got a phone call back I tried for at least weeks and finally on the 6th of June I Received a letter in the mail of a check for the amount of a little over dollarsI went to [redacted] collision in Fayetteville NC on the 7th of June and tried to drop my vehicle off with them, I was told that I could only get a rental for days, I called Mrs [redacted] and explained that I do not have another vehicle to use and I have to go back and fourth to work and without a care in the world she was determined that is the only amount of time that I was gettingSo came back from my vacation and went to [redacted] Collision and glass in Fayetteville NC and dropped my vehicle off there on Monday Morning the 20th of June and got a Vehicle for apparently daysI was called as of the 22nd from Mrs [redacted] and stated to me that she is not approving for any extensionsI explained that I do not have another Vehicle and need a ride back and fourth, She again with no care in the world I have to make other arraignmentsNow today the 23rd of June I got a phone call message from MrJames [redacted] the adjuster and stated in the voicemail that the under carriage of the vehicle is not there fault they are not covering the repairsI called Mr [redacted] back to speak with him and yet again I get a voicemail " The accident was the fault of a driver who didn't have a drivers License and when she hit my vehicle she backed into the front of the vehicle while it was parked and no body in the vehicle and made it go up on the embankment and came back downI Explained this on the voicemail again with no return call back"This company does not care for other people, they allow anyone to get insurance even if you do not have a drivers licenseThe customer service is horrible because no one wants to be responsible for this and put it on methis company sucks

Extremely upset with this company, their clients was driving under the influence and my car and three others ..the ladys agent Ivory S [redacted] has been unhelpful the company stated they could not get in touch with their client and could do nothing until thenWe are in week 3, they have not sent assessment officer to look at my car and they will not give us updated information

Company does NOT replyI had my car hit July 27, spoke with an agent a week later set up to have my car appraised to assess the damages another week after that it is now October 11thI have emailed and called the agent several times since the appraise came mid AugustI have not gotten one reply to my numerous emails and phone calls or received any paperwork in regards to my claimI have no idea of the status of my claim It is very frustrating to have to wait when it is a very simple claim

Worst company ever!! Do not give them your businessThey aren't worth itThey aren't worth anythingI got in a car accident on a SaturdayI made my claim as soon as I couldThe lady on the phone told me right there and then that my car was a total loss and I had to go to the lot where my car was being kept to get my belongings out of it at 12pm on MondaySo I have to use my personal time at work to go get my stuff in a hurryThey assigned me to a claim representative named Justin who was supposed to contact me Monday afternoonNo contact at all from anyoneSo finally Wednesday I email him, no answerForward the email again Thursday, no answerAND again on FridaySo I finally call this claims repHe says since the car is a total loss that he is not the claim repThe lady told me when I reported the claim that it was a total loss, so why were you assigned my rep in the first place!?! First of all, he could have at least answered my many emailsSecond, he would not give me a name or number of anyone else handing my claim and said it could be WEEKS until someone is assigned to itTerrible serviceTerrible experienceTERRIBLE COMPANY

This is the worst insurance company I have ever experiencedI would highly highly not recommend this placeFirst they said my car was totaled, then they said they were only going to fix $4,where the damage when there's $12,worth of damage on my carSo I would have to pay 7,put of pocketThen they said they had looked at the wrong value for my carSo they were going to fix it allNow they're saying that I didn't have Towing in my full coverage policy which I do because I had another Insurance Agency look over itSo now they are trying to make me pay $out of my own pocket for the towing feeEven though it was in the policy and now they're saying that it was never in the policy to begin with even though I quoted her on the phone what the price I pay is and she said that's how much full coverage with Towing would beThey are awful it's been a month-and-a-half and I just four days ago found out whether my car was actually told you're going to be fixedAnd all they do is make you run aroundLike they said they would call us back within two days and they didn't so we called back for more days before we got a call back they said they would call us back and didn'tAnd that's all they do is say they're going to get back to you and call you back and don'tSo if you want an insurance agency that actually does their job and get your car fully fixed and back to you I would just let you know that this is not the place

It has now been days since a National General insured totaled my new car by hitting it in the rear The car was financed by Ally and the payoff was about dollars ( more or less )Ally has yet to receive a check days waiting is not acceptable

This claim was originally filed on 10/5/After numerous messages left on Mr Calvin C***'s voice mail, and not receiving any return calls, I was finally able to call and talk with him concerning my claim, I asked him to notify me when he had spoken to someone in the service department at [redacted] ***, Lake City Flwhee I had been instructed by a woman in the claims department to take it for an estimateAfter again not hearing from MrC [redacted] several days later, I spoke with the service department at [redacted] ***, and was told that MrC [redacted] had requested photos of the damageAgain speaking to the service department at C.Wapproximately weeks later, they had not heard from MrC***, and were awaiting an authorization from NGIOn 10/26/I spoke with a person at NGI, since again MrC***'s voice mail was not answered, and requested his supervisor, which I was connected to a MrR***, and his voice mail stated he would be out of the office until after the 20th of Oct ( date now 10/26/2015), connecting back to the switchboard, I requested a supervisor to speak with NOW, after some time MrC [redacted] answered the phone and after several excuses, advised me the claim was being reviewed, and a check should be sent out by Wednesday 10/28/This process has taken days, if indeed the check is received on the date statedThe claims department return calls, are non existent, this is unacceptableIf my response for payment on my policy was this slow, I would receive a cancellation of policyOnce this claim is finished, so is my business with National General InsCo

I spoke to Wayne today for verification of my insurance he was very rude make me feel so bad also ask me so many questions even the rental car agent was amazed that mr.Wayne was so nasty and rude with me

Imperial Fire and Casualty Insurance Company has received your correspondence as it relates to the complainant, and we thank you for the opportunity to provide a responseMr [redacted] purchased a policy on-line with Imperial for the term of 03/13/- 09/13/ In the rating and quoting process, Mr [redacted] indicated that he had coverage with another insurer prior to purchasing the Imperial policy This allowed him to receive a discount on his premium Accordingly, on 02/27/2016, policy no [redacted] was issued to him with a total premium of $ However, in order for the discount to be allowed, Mr [redacted] was required to submit proof of such prior coverage A letter advising such was issued to him, also on 02/27/2016.There was no information provided to Imperial evidencing such prior insurance Therefore, on 04/03/2016, Mr [redacted] 's policy was amended to remove the prior coverage discount previously allowed This resulted in his premium being increased to $for the same term of 03/13/- 09/13/If Mr [redacted] were to provide the needed information in order to grant the prior coverage discount as requested, the discount would then be granted back to him This information, if available, should be provided in short order in order to best serve himIf you should have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me

National General Insurance deserves a Star rating! BEWARE of THIS INSURANCE COMPANYRecently my son was involved in an auto accident that was 100% the fault of the other driverThe other driver was texting and driving and slammed into him causing him to hit the car in front of him because they were both stoppedOur son told the insurance adjuster he was staying with his grandparents in Oregon at the time of the accidentBecause of this detail, they are trying to get out of offering us any assistanceIt will cost them nothing because ultimately the other driver is at fault, however, they have spent the last three weeks trying to get out of helping us with this claim at all and are telling us it's because the car was "Garaged" somewhere elseWe have paid them thousands of dollars and NEVER EVER filed a claimThe first time we need their assistance, they cancel our policy and don't want to help us settle with the driver's insurance companyI can't warn you enough to stay away from these guysThe way they have treated us...it's hard to believe they'd treat a victim of an accident that had injuries this waySHAME ON THEM!

My sons car was stolen on 12/24/16, we called into the insurance company and got the claim number and the person who we were to speak toOn Tuesday I called and she informed me that she was not the person who was handling this caseSo after days of calling I finally got the correct adjusterI informed him that the car was recovered on 12/26/and he gave me a stock number of where the vehicle was gonna go toI have called everyday since and his reply to me is he has no idea of when they will be able to look at the car and that he send everything involving this claim to higher managementHere it is 01/06/and I have gotten nowhere with this company, no return calls from the agent, or the supervisors

What a wonderful surprise! Until last night, I've despised every insurance company I've ever encounteredAlas, in National General, I finally found an insurance company I actually enjoyed dealing withIn full disclosure, I'm somewhat biased due to the sheer mass of money I saved during my one and only phone call with themI can't wait to see what happens when my other insurance policies expire and I get to call them again to switch everything overI doubled my car insurance coverage and added collision ($deductible) all for less than half of what the thieves at [redacted] were charging me [redacted] ain't got [redacted] on my buddy Omar at National GeneralIf I could give them out of stars I still don't think that would be quite enough to be a wholly accurate review

I was looking for a health insurance policy for myself and familyInitially, I spoke with a young lady who was friendly and answered most of my questionsI was then transferred to another agent who was without a doubt the rudest person I have ever spoken toI told him to void my application and he absolutely refused to do itAfter an hour on the phone with him, I hung up in frustration, having never completed the application processweeks later, I received a policy from this company in the mail ( I had already gotten health coverage elsewhereI called again and instructed them to cancel this policyIn January 17th, I received a letter in the mail (postmarked January 11th) the letterhead was dated December 20th, and stated that, due to not receiving an e-signature on my application, that this letter would serve as my confirmation of signatureI have been on the phone for hours trying to cancel this policyWorst business I have ever dealt with

I had a hard time even locating a listing for National General Auto InsuranceWhen I did find a listing, under the heading of " The Fifty Worst Auto Insurance Companies in the USA " there at the bottom of the listI found where National General residesThe only mystery is why a reputable company like "Good Sam" would saddle it self with such an albatross as National General Insurance ?

I have been dealing with a claim with NGI since JanuaryAfter thinking everything was said and done I get a call from MrsS [redacted] , claims agent in Winston Salem asking me about the at fault individuals injuries, the location of my car and whether I have paid for my repairsI told her his condition should not be affecting my claim as I have sent her the police report stating I was in no way at fault and it was the pedestrian's intention and state of beingShe said Ok and ended the callToday I receive and email for my insurance to renew and I see that my premium has drastically increasedI log onto my online account and see that my claim is still openSo, I call NGI and the rep states that the witness statement disagrees with my statementI told her that I have the witness statement and it says the exact same thing I didShe paused and said that's strange you may want to call the claims adjusterSo, I called her twice the first time was busy and the second time I got one ring and then her voicemailI am livid that they would falsify a claim for what purpose? I will be ending my policy with NGI after this is said and done

Never use this insurance companyThey charge fees for canceling even if you sale you item that was covered Plus they will send you straight to collections Without sending you any informationNever use them I used them through good Sam for camper insuranceA very shade fine print insurance company beware
