I am rejecting this response because:I have spoken to a roofing expert to give me a quote for the roof.he told me I need a whole new roof replacement because the shingles are damaged very badly.the roof is leaking and the repairs would cost more then 2100 dollars.

After several calls and emails, company refuses to send copy of homeowners policy. I just keep getting the declarations page and sass saying that is the policy.

Extremely upset with this company, their clients was driving under the influence and my car and three others ..the ladys agent Ivory S[redacted] has been unhelpful the company stated they could not get in touch with their client and could do nothing until then. We are in week 3, they have not sent assessment officer to look at my car and they will not give us updated information.

This insurance company is a bunch of thieves and crooks. They didn't cover my insurance because I didn't update my address within the same state. Then they sent my premium refund check to the old address! They are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of, both phone and email. They are so sneaky on contacting you and you being able to contact them and now I see why.

I have had them 4 months and already nothing but bad experiences. The reps and adjusters are rude. They are no help. I'm paying for full coverage and not getting the services I pay for. I reported a hit and run and they pretty much told me I would have to pay it myself. Pretty ridiculous. As soon as I find another insurance company I will be switching. Then I called to make a complaint about the adjuster left a voicemail for her supervisor and got no call back. How professional that is. I would not recommend anyone. I'm feeling like I'm throwing money away being with this company. Do not waste you time.

Worst company ever!! Do not give them your business. They aren't worth it. They aren't worth anything. I got in a car accident on a Saturday. I made my claim as soon as I could. The lady on the phone told me right there and then that my car was a total loss and I had to go to the lot where my car was being kept to get my belongings out of it at 12pm on Monday. So I have to use my personal time at work to go get my stuff in a hurry. They assigned me to a claim representative named Justin who was supposed to contact me Monday afternoon. No contact at all from anyone. So finally Wednesday I email him, no answer. Forward the email again Thursday, no answer. AND again on Friday. So I finally call this claims rep. He says since the car is a total loss that he is not the claim rep..... The lady told me when I reported the claim that it was a total loss, so why were you assigned my rep in the first place!?! First of all, he could have at least answered my many emails. Second, he would not give me a name or number of anyone else handing my claim and said it could be WEEKS until someone is assigned to it. Terrible service. Terrible experience. TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Company does NOT reply. I had my car hit July 27, spoke with an agent a week later set up to have my car appraised to assess the damages another week after that it is now October 11th. I have emailed and called the agent several times since the appraise came mid August. I have not gotten one reply to my numerous emails and phone calls or received any paperwork in regards to my claim. I have no idea of the status of my claim It is very frustrating to have to wait when it is a very simple claim.

When we purchased our RV, we joined Marcus Lemonis's Good Sam and signed up through their insurance coverage through National General Insurance. We took our unit to Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates (IL) for an oil change and to determine why the "check engine" light was on. They told us that gasoline had been introduced into the diesel tank accidentally. Obviously, we never did it deliberately, and it could only have happened if a diesel fuel pump was dispensing gasoline. So, it was accidental. But apparently National General does not cover accidents. They've said the repairs, which may be over $20k and WAY beyond our ability to pay, will not be covered. We assume that the Mercedes service department is telling us the truth about the potential damage done. So National General should pay the caim.

What a wonderful surprise! Until last night, I've despised every insurance company I've ever encountered. Alas, in National General, I finally found an insurance company I actually enjoyed dealing with. In full disclosure, I'm somewhat biased due to the sheer mass of money I saved during my one and only phone call with them. I can't wait to see what happens when my other insurance policies expire and I get to call them again to switch everything over. I doubled my car insurance coverage and added collision ($500 deductible) all for less than half of what the thieves at [redacted] were charging me. [redacted] ain't got [redacted] on my buddy Omar at National General. If I could give them 7 out of 5 stars I still don't think that would be quite enough to be a wholly accurate review.

This claim was originally filed on 10/5/2015 After numerous messages left on Mr Calvin C[redacted]'s voice mail, and not receiving any return calls, I was finally able to call and talk with him concerning my claim, I asked him to notify me when he had spoken to someone in the service department at [redacted], Lake City Fl. whee I had been instructed by a woman in the claims department to take it for an estimate. After again not hearing from Mr. C[redacted] several days later, I spoke with the service department at [redacted], and was told that Mr. C[redacted] had requested photos of the damage. Again speaking to the service department at C.W. approximately 2 weeks later, they had not heard from Mr. C[redacted], and were awaiting an authorization from NGI. On 10/26/2015 I spoke with a person at NGI, since again Mr. C[redacted]'s voice mail was not answered, and requested his supervisor, which I was connected to a Mr. R[redacted], and his voice mail stated he would be out of the office until after the 20th of Oct ( date now 10/26/2015), connecting back to the switchboard, I requested a supervisor to speak with NOW, after some time Mr. C[redacted] answered the phone and after several excuses, advised me the claim was being reviewed, and a check should be sent out by Wednesday 10/28/2015. This process has taken 21 days, if indeed the check is received on the date stated. The claims department return calls, are non existent, this is unacceptable. If my response for payment on my policy was this slow, I would receive a cancellation of policy. Once this claim is finished, so is my business with National General Ins. Co.

Never use this insurance company. They charge fees for canceling even if you sale you item that was covered . Plus they will send you straight to collections
Without sending you any information. Never use them I used them through good Sam for camper insurance. A very shade fine print insurance company .. beware

I had a hard time even locating a listing for National General Auto Insurance. When I did find a listing, under the heading of " The Fifty Worst Auto Insurance Companies in the USA " there at the bottom of the list. I found where National General resides. The only mystery is why a reputable company like "Good Sam" would saddle it self with
such an albatross as National General Insurance ?

My vehicle was parked at my job, is where a 17 year old girl driving with no lic. backed into my car pulling out of the parking lot, somehow has insurance on her vehicle, I contact NGI to start a claim to fix my vehicle, I got a call from someone by the name of Lindsey [redacted], and adjuster by the name of James [redacted]. When I spoke to Mrs. [redacted] she advised me that Mr. [redacted] will call me to make an appointment to check out my vehicle, mind you he left a message. I tried to call him back to schedule that appointment and he didn't answer. 35 min after calling, my wife was home and he just showed up and was looking at my vehicle. My wife was explaining the situation with my car and what needs to be checked, Mr [redacted] Didn't say a word, then told my wife I will receive a copy of the estimate that he founf by 5 pm that night and got in the vehicle and left. I waited till midnight and didn't receive the email. The following morning I called Mr. [redacted] in ref to concern that I have not received the email and never got a phone call back. I tried for at least 2 weeks and finally on the 6th of June 2016 I Received a letter in the mail of a check for the amount of a little over 1500.00 dollars. I went to [redacted] collision in Fayetteville NC on the 7th of June and tried to drop my vehicle off with them, I was told that I could only get a rental for 3 days, I called Mrs. [redacted] and explained that I do not have another vehicle to use and I have to go back and fourth to work and without a care in the world she was determined that is the only amount of time that I was getting. So came back from my vacation and went to [redacted] Collision and glass in Fayetteville NC and dropped my vehicle off there on Monday Morning the 20th of June and got a Vehicle for apparently 3 days. I was called as of the 22nd from Mrs. [redacted] and stated to me that she is not approving for any extensions. I explained that I do not have another Vehicle and need a ride back and fourth, She again with no care in the world I have to make other arraignments. Now today the 23rd of June I got a phone call message from Mr. James [redacted] the adjuster and stated in the voicemail that the under carriage of the vehicle is not there fault they are not covering the repairs. I called Mr. [redacted] back to speak with him and yet again I get a voicemail " The accident was the fault of a driver who didn't have a drivers License and when she hit my vehicle she backed into the front of the vehicle while it was parked and no body in the vehicle and made it go up on the embankment and came back down. I Explained this on the voicemail again with no return call back". This company does not care for other people, they allow anyone to get insurance even if you do not have a drivers license. The customer service is horrible because no one wants to be responsible for this and put it on me. this company sucks.

I was looking for a health insurance policy for myself and family. Initially, I spoke with a young lady who was friendly and answered most of my questions. I was then transferred to another agent who was without a doubt the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I told him to void my application and he absolutely refused to do it. After an hour on the phone with him, I hung up in frustration, having never completed the application process. 3 weeks later, I received a policy from this company in the mail ( I had already gotten health coverage elsewhere. I called again and instructed them to cancel this policy. In January 17th, I received a letter in the mail (postmarked January 11th) the letterhead was dated December 20th, and stated that, due to not receiving an e-signature on my application, that this letter would serve as my confirmation of signature. I have been on the phone for 2 hours trying to cancel this policy. Worst business I have ever dealt with.

My sons car was stolen on 12/24/16, we called into the insurance company and got the claim number and the person who we were to speak to. On Tuesday I called and she informed me that she was not the person who was handling this case. So after 2 days of calling I finally got the correct adjuster. I informed him that the car was recovered on 12/26/16 and he gave me a stock number of where the vehicle was gonna go to. I have called everyday since and his reply to me is he has no idea of when they will be able to look at the car and that he send everything involving this claim to higher management. Here it is 01/06/17 and I have gotten nowhere with this company, no return calls from the agent, or the supervisors.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE COMPANY TO ANYONE YOUR CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVES ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. ONE OF YOUR INSURED TOTALED OUT MY CAR AND THE INCONVENIENCE OF IT ALL IS RIDICULES

I don't usually take my time to write reviews but I will decided to do it today. National General insurance is the worst insurance ever. I paid for a policy in full for 6 months. And 2 moths later I got a charge for $315 because I did not provide proof of insurance for other members of my household. Mind you, I am renting from these people. They are not even family. I have never heard of that with any other insurance company. All the customer services agents and the managers are worthless. I have been robbed and taken advantage of by that company. Now my account is overdrawn as a result of their unauthorized transaction and they won't do anything to help. I regret giving them my business. I will not be renewing with them. I am trying to cancel my policy with them and that's another nightmare. Please don't buy any kind of insurance from these people. They are crooks and scammers. The worst ever!!!

National General Insurance deserves a 0 Star rating! BEWARE of THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. Recently my son was involved in an auto accident that was 100% the fault of the other driver. The other driver was texting and driving and slammed into him causing him to hit the car in front of him because they were both stopped. Our son told the insurance adjuster he was staying with his grandparents in Oregon at the time of the accident. Because of this detail, they are trying to get out of offering us any assistance. It will cost them nothing because ultimately the other driver is at fault, however, they have spent the last three weeks trying to get out of helping us with this claim at all and are telling us it's because the car was "Garaged" somewhere else. We have paid them thousands of dollars and NEVER EVER filed a claim. The first time we need their assistance, they cancel our policy and don't want to help us settle with the driver's insurance company. I can't warn you enough to stay away from these guys. The way they have treated us...it's hard to believe they'd treat a victim of an accident that had injuries this way. SHAME ON THEM!

I was looking for new health insurance since my coverage from 2016 was going to more than double for 2017 with my old insurance company. I called United Health Care and some how ended up on the phone with a girl named Rebkah from National General. She spoke to my husband and myself, we told her what we where looking for in our health insurance and prescription coverage, and about how much we wanted to pay. We agreed on a policy, and that's when the problems started. First when they told us we have to pay our first month up front I said ok, then all of a sudden there is a $50 application fee added on to our first month. So we paid the first month and application fee, while this was going on I asked the man I was talking to if I could cancel the auto draft and he said yes, just call and tell them you want to cancel the auto draft. He also told me that I will get an email with an outline of my policy and link to the website that I would have to log in to confirm my signature. This all happened mid December. Yesterday I called the pharmacy for my refill and let them know I have new insurance and that I would bring in my pharmacy information when I come to pick it up. Well having worked in a pharmacy for 6 years I knew what information I needed to locate on the card, so I pull out my insurance card I just got a couple of days before and to my surprise there is no RX info on the card. So I call customer service they then inform me NG DOES NOT OFFER PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE!!! I am on a medication that I cannot stop taking, so I call the pharmacy they tell me its going to cost me $110 for my medicine. So I started calling around and found a pharmacy that I could get my medicine from at a reasonable price. So I call NG today about the auto draft and come to find out I can not cancel this, they do not allow payments to be made online. The only option I have is to call them every month and pay before they auto draft it out of my account or change my due date to the 1st of the month. And I told the guy when I look online it say you are going to charge me more than what I was told my policy was. He was rude and said you see the $50 application fee, that was a one time charge. I said they why is it still showing on my bill? They do not offer reference numbers for phone calls, only the name and date of who you talked to, I all so write down the time. I have worked in the health care field for 10+ years and this company has rubbed me the wrong way. I am at the point I want to cancel, and pay the fine for not having health insurance.
