Installed mini-split heat pump mdl-AOU9RL2, compressor failed on heating in less than hourwent through all warranty steps and they replaced outdoor unit finallyInstalled new {2nd} unit and AC failed in dayWorst product ever,Highly recommend any other manufacture than FujitsuTech support/warranty dept, takes hours to reach a person that can help.Then you're treated as a child no matter how many years in the this field

We purchased a Fujitsu Mini-Split Heating and Cooling AC from Dynamic Air, ** *** *** *** *** *** on Sept10, The warranty covers years It has been repaired many times - two new condensers because of leaks and now the Pulse motor valve is defective and needs replacement We paid $and the costs of repairs is more than the original purchase price The unit is unreliable and now, completely useless - no cooling or heat We demand that Fujitsu reimburse us for the replaced parts or give us a new replacement AC My wife has severe asthma and the AC is a medical necessity Since Dynamic Air ignored us, we contacted Whalen and Ives, Inc., located at *** *** *** *** ***, for assistance They are trying to be helpful but the responsibility is with Fujitsu Now we are in the 3rd year of a year warranty, and still without AC

The local General Manager, *** *** has been informed about your complaint and he will call you in a couple of days to provide an update

I originally filed a Revdex.com complaint #*** about my Fujitsu system: "My house consists of indoor split type air conditioners, and outdoor units, installed by a certified Fujitsu installerOne of my indoor units acts up all the timeIt sometimes blows cool air into the room, but at other times, blows room temperature airI used an infrared thermometer to test thisThe issue would be resolved after I reset the unit by holding the reset button or by turning off the circuit breaker for a period of timeMy friend thinks it's a control board issueI had the system installed in 2008, so I think I should be covered by Fujitsu's warrantyMy model number is ASU12RMLQ, and the serial number is GRA004561." I was then given a business response on 8/from Victor Gomez, director of service that as a one time accommodation, Fujitsu will warranty the parts to get the unit back up and runningAs of now, I'm unable to get in contact with the company regarding the case

The response does not address my concern: "I believe the Other Charge; Sports Surcharge to be a deceptive billing practiceI believe it to be illegalThis is similar to the deceptive billing practices recently employed by the major Cellular companiesThey too advertised and billed their customers for an agreed to service and also added unexplained charges that were hidden or deceptive in the billing summary."
The deception is in the marketing and advertisement of the product, Standard Cable PackageOne price is given but it is not the true price for the productThe true price of the product is the price of the Standard Cable Package plus the Sports Surcharge. Cableone advertises that their competitors frequently raise the prices of their products while Cableone prices remain constantCableone's practices are equally deceptiveI would have no issue if Cableone had simply raised the price of the Standard Cable PackageThey could explain the reason for the cost increase or not, I don't careBut instead they chose deception; adding the Sports Surcharge under the heading "Other Charges"They chose deception over open and honest business conduct
