I am rejecting this response because:Regarding this complaint- I do not accept the termsMy phone glitched when I clicked I reject and somehow selected I agreeLike I said in my complaint- I spoke to two different people who confirmed the amount $to close my contract (I was told that the
amount would NOT be reduced even in my case as this was part of the agreement I signed) as per my phone call in JulyI also went in and spoke to someone in August or September and I was told that my account would simply be closedNothing was ever mentioned about a month to month, ever! Just because those employees didn't put notes into my account that I was looking into options of how to close my account, does not mean that I never ever contacted anyone about closing my accountMy sister was with me when I spoke to the membership services employee that confirmed that my account would be closed in November, not October (as the operations manager wrote) and she can verify this information.Revdex.com please stand up for me! I have read through the hundreds of reviews from California Family Fitness within the last year as well as multiple Revdex.com complaints have been opened against California Family Fitness for misinforming customers about their policies about their contractsEveryone says the same thing: the membership services employees say one thing and then people get charged based on their policies, which are very differentThis is the same thing that has happened to meI made an attempt to make myself knowledgeable of their policies regarding their contracts and now? I'm told very different things by their employees that should know the contracts inside and out!!! I am rejecting this response because: I was given time till 11/2 because I had signes up at the end of sept 9/26. So how is a free month if I was going to cancel with in 5 days 10/2 .And the staff ive talked to at the rocklin location gym said. I had 5 days which was 10/2 not 10/30. Im going with sales person who signed me up initially which is 11/2And I was there on 10/30 to cancel and I was denied and sent saying it was too late and I have to pay cancellation fee.So its not my fault I was sent back within the dates even though they are confusing me with dates.

Receivable team reached out to you 12 times in order to resolve your past due balance before canceling the membership for non-payment. In two conversations with AR, you acknowledged the membership and the past due as well as you were having issues providing your [redacted] corporate badge in order to receive a discount. This action on your part to come to the facility never occurred per our records. As per our guidelines, your membership was “written-off” as a bad debt. As per our policy, members with a previous bad debt with California Family Fitness may rejoin, however will pay a fee of $110.00 if joining on to another existing membership. emailed in a request to cancel as our manager attempted to capture from you.  Our manager emailed you in hopes that you would've replied with a request to cancel.  Due to no response our manager has gone ahead and set up the cancellation based on the verbal conversation.  We have also issued you an additional two month refund for the months of February and March based on your original conversation back in January, although at that time you never requested cancellation and was only looking for compensation for months not used due to your medical issues.  We simply asked that you provide an additional medical note that will capture the additional dates that your are demanding a refund for.  We are unable to assist you with this refund until we receive another medical note relating to the dates you are requesting further refunds for.  Your membership status is cancelled, total refund issued thus far is $519.92.  You will see this refund in two parts.  And again if anything further is needed as far as refund, you will need to provide a date range specific medical note that is relating to those months still in question. Thank you

the membership due to an impending divorce. It was explained to her that it was necessary for the Primary account holder ([redacted]) to remove members to the account. As per CFF protocol, only the Primary can change, modify or cancel a membership. In rare cases, the secondary (spouse) may do so. As such and due to the circumstances as noted by the spouse, it was felt that it was necessary for the Primary to cancel.   Three additional contacts to the Primary were made with no response. On 12/7/17, a Member Services representative mentioned to Secondary (spouse) that the Primary needed to respond in order to change the membership. On 12/7/17, Member Services received a response from you to cancel the membership.   Terms of Cancellation are noted on your contract. As noted do to the nature and circumstances regarding the membership, the CFF representatives followed proper protocol.

Hi [redacted], We looked into this much further and it has been determined that our financial company did not in fact refund the other amount due to confusion regarding the amounts. We submitted a total refund of $519.92 broken down in two parts of $390 and $130. The amount of $130 will go back in your account within 10-14 business days. We did everything on our end to try and rectify the situation but since the refunds aren’t performed by us we did not see that there was an issue with the refund. As for the reinstated service, we decided to freeze the account out of courtesy. Unfortunately, there seems to be some misinformation you have stated in your complaint. Our records and documentation indicate that you put a Freeze on your membership on 8/8/17. As explained to you, a Freeze pauses your membership but you are still responsible for fulfilling your term of 12 months....

Since you decided not to fulfill your term, per your contract, $175.00 termination fee was accessed. This was explained to you many times in several communications with you. In explaining the situation to you, you were quite vocal and aggressive in tone to cease all communications and that you are “sick and tired” of our reaching out to you. At this time your account has been cancelled with no further contact. The balance of $175.00 remains on our books and will have a negative impact on any further membership you may have with California Family Fitness.

....Thank you for correcting your erroneous fraudulent activity and behavior. It need not have gone further. Hope no one else is mistreated the way I have been by the Revdex.com, tag teaming, and California Family Fitness. Cal Fit should strive to change their ways rather than thinking you can get away with ignoring your own policies and the law after admittance of guilt. Why say you refunded, unless it is to correct a fraudulent mistake. That was an obvious mistake, to admit you made one and then to continue with your harassment. Remember no one is above the law nor can any business entity continue  to put someone under threat, coercion, and duress. Thank you again for bringing this to an end.
