From the very start our Sales Professional Robert was amazingHe was very knowledgeable about the products both tile and carpet being installed in our homeHe took the time to go over everything to make sure all our needs were metHe continued to be in contact with us during the whole installation process to ensure we were still satisfiedThe tile that was installed in our house has already been getting comments from friends and familyThe installers really understand the trade and used their own experience and skills to adjust to some tricky parts that needed tileThe carpet installers had rooms and a hallway done in one daySuper effecient and very professionalEveryou in the whole process was friendly and very supportive Again thank you Empire for exceeding our expectationsWe will definitely refer you to friends and family

I had two children enrolled in this daycareI was receiving childcare assistance through the state so I had a low cost pay due to me not making much money and being considered low incomeAt the time there was a lot of changes going on in the daycare and I was pregnant I ended up having a premature baby and had to quit my job to take care of my premie and other kidsI owed the daycare my portion of my copay which I did not pay because I was no longer working and had kids to take care of the total amount was $I let the daycare know that I would be pulling my kids out and would pay them the $copay once I received the money to do soI had alot on my plate going through a divorce and taking on a foster child the $slipped my mindI recently have been looking for a place to live and been denied over apts due to this daycare taking the $charge and adding $10,to it to creditors for collection I am now currently living out of my car with my kids because of thisI co

I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from purchasing carpet/flooring from Empire Today, LLC! Here is a list of what has gone wrong for me:
1) Empire claims "buy today, install tomorrow" I purchased carpet from them, and the first install date they could give me was TWO WEEKS after the purchase date
2) I received a call on the install date, cancelling the install, after the room had been fully prepared and I had to take a vacation day from work
3) After speaking with corporate, they then guaranteed/promised an install for the next day Again, I received a call the next day, CANCELLING the installation for the SECOND time
4) After the second cancellation, I spoke with corporate again who told me they would cancel the order and issue a refund of my deposit The deposit should take 3-days, maximum days
5) I continued to receive installation emails from Empire so I called corporate again three days later to learn that corporate had NEVER cancelled the order NOR issued my refund
6) They said they will cancel the order (FOR THE SECOND TIME), and issue a refund
7) Five days later, and I still have no refund
They simply do not care about their customers They didn't care about my losing a vacation day and/or the time required for preparation of the roomDO NOT USE EMPIRE!

Service was good

Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, my salesperson was honest and helpful, and my installation team was fast, efficient, and friendly! I am definitely going to use Empire Today againDefinitelyIt was so nice to have the job done by someone else

I recently had carpet installed in my home, which is Redford MIWe had trouble with *** *** years ago and thought that Empire would be a safe betWe were wrongThe sales rep came out and we wanted a berber carpet for durablitilyThe sales do not offer any types of carpet, like maybe a pet friendly carpet, they are the expertsSo as my German/Husky put her head in his lap and he told us that this carpet would be great for dogs( He has three dogs and a berber carpet)A week later we decide to get another section done and schedule the appointmentTwo days before the instillation we see a Loop of carpet come up We are not pleasedThe carpet installers show up and the first we do is tell them about this carpet looping upAnd He says " This is the worst carpet for dogs, this carpet will continue to loop." So apparently the installer knows more than the sales rep about carpetAfter fighting with customer service the best offer they gave me was a $to replace the carpetI really can't be more disappointed

The scheduling and selection of the product was done in my home The installation was done with great expertise by wonderful people

Contracted with empire to install vinyl flooring in two bathrooms, which necessitates removing and reinstalling two toiletsReinstalled them incorrectly, resulting in leakage and water damage to rooms beneath the toiletsHad two plumbing bills, and extensive wall and tile and carpet damage to repair, plus an outrageous water billAn abrasive customer service rep has handled our callsNever sent anyone out to look at damage at all...just want picturesHow do you take pictures of soaked carpet?? They apparently subcontract installation out...the two people who came to our house to install, ...neither of them spoke even passable English!! Difficult to communicate with them..they didn't even know how to ask for an electrical outlet..just held up the plug and looked at us!!! Having difficulty resolving this whole issue!!!

Very Satisfied

We've used empire twice now for our flooring needs and both times were very positive experiencesEach time the sales representatives were very professional and experienced,
We had very very good experiences with installers for each of the jobs we had done and really like the finished product

I had a positive experience with EmpireThey beat the price of a competitor and did a great job in a timely fashion

I really enjoyed my experience with Empire Today The sales representative was awesome, very knowledgeable and helpful! He did an excellent job of explaining the products and getting the best possible carpet that I could afford Their pricing was better then their competitor by a lot for a better carpet
The installation process was good, the carpet looks great and I'm happy with how it went it I was disappointed a little in that the installers left many scuffs and scratches in the walls, doors and baseboards, had to spend time on painting
Overall I enjoyed the experience and love the carpet!

02/- 10:to 3:Sales guy did not price the lewon(sp?) for the vinyl Wanted to charge me about $ I told them I don't have the $Installers (Bill) loud and rude, easily irritated at smaller guy (Rueben)

No work 11:45-12:The quarter round installed looks horrible and is off from the baseboards throughout the install, doesn't match my kitchen (white not the wood that matches my cabinets),
The base board from hallway to laundry room door was messed up and left It is now about 1/to 1/in above the baseboard coming out of the hallwayTried to talk to Bill about it and he said there was nothing he could do, that is what they sent him and I would have to talk to Customer Service

Rushed to finish living room, did not want to discuss the quarter round any more, creased the vinyl in the living room, left a huge air bubble, three spots in floor no longer level

I feel as if we are getting no where in fixing my floor The first lady gave me my ticket number for an agent to call me back 1-***, I heard from no one, I called you and someone was to come out, they never called or showed, I called you back, Hector showed up and just shook his head at the whole situation and the horrible job, and he was going to report back to you so you would call me Friday afternoon or Saturday I still have not heard from youThe two guys, Hector and Ruben, that stopped by on Friday looked at the floor and said it was a terrible job Not to mention they only had four pieces of quarter round with them which is not nearly enough Below is a list of my complaintsMy floors that were once level now has three areas where you can feel a riseThe quarter round needs to be corrected through the install Living room, dining room, kitchen and hallwayThe kick plate in the hall closet was cut short and they half assed it by putting it in a different spotThe floor boards in the living room are not nailed down This is what I thought was a huge air bubble and Hector told me on Friday was the flooring not nailed/stapled down His suggestion of stapling through the new vinyl is not acceptableThere is a crease in the vinyl in the living room where they rushed to finishThe white quarter round in the kitchen is unacceptableThere are two air pockets; one in the hallway and one in the living roomWhere they seamed the vinyl between the dining room and kitchen is beginning to bubble upOne of my base boards was pulled up in the beginning and they did not put it back in place, they just nailed the quarter round to the floor in from of it trying to hide the gapThe salesman assured me this was good vinyl, however, I cannot walk across it in my heels without making impressions in itNot to mention it took the original two guys, Bill and Ruben, days to complete the work Of course they only worked 3-hours each day and this was a big inconvenienceI missed my daughters volleyball on Saturday because I had to be at the house with themNeedless to say I am way less than satisfied with the vinyl and the work performed If you cannot correct the issue I am requesting my money back in fullVery Frustrated,

March Posted to *** and finally got a response from Lisa She will send the guys out to do my floor the week of 3/since I will be out of town the week of 03/March 8:40am Guys show up for the floor and still have white quarter round
9:05am Call Lisa about the quarter round and left a message
10:05am Guys tell me there is nothing they can do about the floor until I have another contractor come out and level up my sub-flooring10:06am Send another email to Lisa asking for my money backThe guys just left my house and said there is nothing they can do.  I wish I had never call Empire to start with.  My floors would still be even and I would not be out over $3000.00.  They did nothing but tell me they could not fix the floor.  I am so frustrated and upset.  Please just give me my money back 
10:55am Mark or Mike or Matt (can't remember the name) called and said they will be back tomorrow to install the vinyl because they needed a bigger piece
March 8:20am Empire called, I missed it then called back Customer service said they would be out between 2:00pm and 3:00pm8:57am Installer Jorge called and said he would be out around 9:9:30am Jorge arrived with his helpers seemed to know what he was talking about, but we shall see We talked and they got to work As they were pulling up the first vinyl I noticed there were patches of glue not over the entire floor2:30pm David from the contracting service came by to check on the guys, progress and let me know what they have done
4:00pm-4:30pm Lunch
11:30pm finished and leaving
March 8:00am Found where a seam is messed up
10:05am Sent two pictures via email to Lisa
March 7:00pm ish Posted two tweets with a picture of each since I had no response
March 8:12am The last crew shows up without any notice to fix the issuesThis was phase one of my remodel, needless to say I will NOT call Empire to complete the rest of my house The time, aggravation, interruption to my job, amount of money I have spent to feed people because I could not get to the kitchen to cook for days, and the fact that I had to talk to contractors with different ones putting in the floor and the last having to come back a second time is ridiculousI just want my money back and truly feel with all that has gone on I am deserving of it

Great customer service!
The installers arrived on time, every morning and worked all dayThey were very respectful of my home and my wishes in regard to the flooring installation
They completed the install a day earlier than expected
I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends I really can't say enough good things about my experience

On April 28, I had an installation partially completed from Empire TodayI'm 100% unsatisfied with the level of customer service I receivedThe beginning of the process was fineI received the estimate that I needed in the employee who came to give the quote was very professionalThe problem began on the date of installationI was called at seven in the morning to say they would be out between and AMThen I received another call at 9:AM to say that he was going to be an hour lateI would've thought I would've given you more notice than five minutes before their scheduled arrival time that they were going to be lateI've been working from home that day so someone could be here while they were doing installationNear the end of the installation I was then informed that they do not have some pieces to complete my jobI was then told they could come the next day to complete and they would call me with the timeThen this man proceeds goes into my refrigerator and retrieves his waterExcuse me how unprofessional is that!!!! Who goes into someone's home and opens their refrigeratorI was shocked I did not say anything at the time because my job was still on completeI did call the customer service number and asked for someone to come back because I wanted to let them know about the lateness of professionalism and they let all of the supplies the person needed to complete the jobAt this point I still have not heard back from anyoneI even called and left a message on their customer service line with the job ID that I was given by Wendy to call her back At this point I am very frustrated and disappointed with the service that I have received from Empire today and my job is still not completed

From the initial meeting with the sales representative at my house to the two days of installation that followed, I was very satisfied and impressed with each person with whom I interactedThe salesman was very knowledgeable, patient with my questions, and honestThe installers (two different groups of guys over two different days) were friendly and sure to double-check that the product was what I had ordered before beginning the installation processThe work was completed in a timely fashion and the finished product was beautifulIt was clear these were professionals who truly wanted to do their job well - for the benefit of me, the customer, and to uphold the reputation of Empire Today

Empire Today met all my expectations Scheduled appointments were within the time frame quoted Quality of material is excellent Installation teams (laminate flooring and carpeting) were professional Finished products (for both laminate and carpeting) were done to my complete satisfaction I would highly recommend Empire Today!
