The sales representative didn't show up for multiple appointments and lied to us about the installation processWe were called the day before installation to tell us our product wasn't available so they sent another rep with samples so we could pick a different floorShe told us which ones were available and our original floor was on the list she gave usShe called and it was in fact available but they wouldn't start installing on time, they pushed it back a day, causing us to have to take an extra day off workWhen the installers came, they didn't level the floors like the sales rep assured us they would before starting lying down the tileThey ran out of tile even though I asked them on day one to measure and be sure they had enoughIt was supposed to come in the next day so we took a second extra day off work, it didn't come inWe had to take a third day off for them to finish itThe tiles they laid were uneven in both height and grout linesThere were chipped and broken tiles that they installed, even though they could clearly see they shouldn't haveWhen I complained I was told by the installer that we must have walked on the tiles and that's why they were unevenWe were very careful not to go into the areas they worked onAfter numerous calls to customer service and emails, including pictures, they sent the installers back out to replace uneven tilesThey replaced several, but to fix all of the unevenness, they would need to take the whole floor off and replace itThey left large gaps by the walls, didn't grout them, then said baseboards will cover it Now we are left with having to grout it ourselves or get thicker baseboards because there are gaps
Customer service told me three day jobs often turn into eight day jobs and they are not liable to reimburse for the extra time we had to take offNow we have floors you stub your toes on and we still have to pay full price for it

Empire Today did a great job replacing all the carpet in my home in dayThey moved and put furniture back as they were workingThe price for it all was reasonable

I had Empire install vinyl in 75% of my home and the whole process, from sales to installation, could not have gone more smoothly It looks great and we could not have asked for more We will be using Empire again to do the remainder of the house - Holly

I am very pleased with the service and product, bedroom carpeting, I received from Empire The in home sales representative was very informative and didn't make me feel pressured to buy anything The carpet installers did an exceptional job, even fixing a carpet bump on my stairs without my asking The installers were two men from Guatemala and although they were not proficient in English and I speak no Spanish, it did not effect the end result They were very polite and hard working, completing the job in a very timely and thorough manner

It was a very easy process from start to finishRugs look great and only took a couple hours of time

This was my first experience with Empire Today and it was wonderful From start to finish, it was handled with the utmost professionalism The prices were extremely competitive and the product top of the line I would definitely use Empire in the future and would absolutely recommend to others!

I would recommend this company to anybody! From the appointment set up all the way untill the last installers truck left there wasn't a single thing I could of asked for to be better

I had no issues with the entire installation processThe sales rep was very nice and helped get a great deal on our purchase of hardwood flooringThe installation was really quickThe men arrived on time and helped move furniture and cleaned up prior to leaving my homeI was really surprised at how quickly the whole process wasAt first I was considering going with a different company that was also well known but it seemed liked the process would take a little longer to completeSo I decided to look at other flooring companies and I decided to try EmpireI always saw their commercials on TV but did not know a whole lot about themSo once I put a request for more information about their services I was contacted the same day and was able to set up a meeting with a sales repOnce the sales rep arrived to discuss the products we were able to pick out the product we wanted, negotiate pricing, and set up the installation date which was completed within a couple weeks from that meetingEverything was completed quickly and efficiently and our floors looks amazing!

Our sales associate as well as the installation team lead by Rob, were fantasticMy floors look amazingHighly satisfied!

Process for getting Empirr carpet installed was smooth: called to make an apoointmeny, was given a window (an evening time, which I asked for and received), the sales rep showed up with samples and took measurements, we picked what we wanted and the date of installation, and it was installedWe are pleased with this company

Overall my experience with Empire Today was very goodThey were polite, friendly and professionalI had laminate flooring installedThe finished product looks wonderfulThe quality of the product and the workmanship of the installers is satisfying, I hope that with time the durability also proves well

Empire Today installed hardwoods, vinyl, and carpetWe had a great experience with the salesperson thru the installProduct was in stock and the install happened on schedule

We have had nothing but headaches with this company The quality of service and product from Empire Today is poor (this does not include our installers) Our salesman falsely advertised what product he sold us When our PV Planks arrived it is NOT what we expected or were shown and only half the shipment was in stock the day of install (we scheduled over a month out) We also were told we ordered 3/round, which we did not expect as we were doing trim work ourselves Day 2, the carpet arrived at the warehouse damaged, but the flooring was able to be finished Scratches happened to the supposed "indestructible flooring" when it was fully installed Day 3, carpeting was finished, looks great, but the piece that connects the stairs to the flooring was not provided or installed Not only were scratches visible, but random planks started pulling up by day post install
Customer Service The process to get a hold of someone is absolutely ridiculous Multiple phone calls were made with no answer and messages left Social media contacted me with a generic answer To actually get in contact personally with someone took over a week! The outcome was to have someone replace our planks that were scratched at no charge, which we scheduled this out one week
Day of repairs, received a call saying the ONE box they needed to do our repairs was not in stock REALLY?! (It's not a full flooring job, one box is all we needed Plus we scheduled a week out!) This company is a joke, has resulted in what now will be FOUR PTO days that were unnecessary, a month of nightmares and headaches, loss of money (in our opinion) and for what we paid, we do not recommend this place to anyone Very very poor experience

I recently had carpet installed in my condo, and it was the worst experienceI placed the order with the sales rep no problemTwo days before my install date, I had a call to confirm the appointment - great! Then the day of the install I had a call at 9AM stating that my carpet was not in stock and that I had to choose a new carpet via a picture on a phone or reschedule my installation dateWhat!? For my inconvenience they offered $offVery disappointed, I stated I would go through customer serviceThis is a poor way of doing businessI had someone moving in that night, I couldn't just go anywhere else -- my hands were tiedI had to choose the carpet color over the phone, and wait for most of the day for the installers to show up with the carpetOnce they arrived with the carpet, they tell me how they can only uninstall the carpet and place the new paddingThey were going to have to come back the next day! So I lost out on a day of rent because my tenant couldn't move in until the following dayWhen the installers showed up on the next day they took many breaks and took most of the morning to complete the installI wrote on the sign off sheet that it wasn't the original carpet ordered at the time of bookingWhen I called customer service, they were only willing to offer 10% off because we signed off on the carpet that was installedHorrible experienceDon't use EmpirePay the extra money and go with someone who will bring you what you order, and do it on the day they say they will do it!

the installers and sales people were great.....my installation of vinyl plank looks wonderful....they were respectful of my house and furniture and they cleaned up after they were done

Our Empire Carpet installation was flawless from the original appointment through the installation The Sales Rep was knowledgeable and helpful The installers were hardworking and efficient Overall, a very positive experience

The appt was scheduled weeks ago, this morning the installation dept called to tell me the installer was on vacationMy husband requested another installer come outThey did and fixed one area however again they did not bring the tool to fix my carpet and the floor boards underneathThis is consistent horrible customer service
I am waiting to get a full refund

One of the worst customer service experiences I called Empire within the day recision period to cancel my order (found a cheaper price) and request a refund of my deposit I was told a customer service representative would call within business day to discuss my refund When I didn't receive a call, I contacted them the following day A customer service rep indicated my refund was in cancellation pending status Since she could clear the pending status, I was transferred again to "customer service" for assistance The next rep informed me that she was a sales admin and not in customer service and couldn't help me and transferred me again to "customer service." The next rep told me that since my refund is in a pending status, she couldn't release it, only their corporate headquarters could do it and she would have to contact them When I asked her to contact them, she said she had to do it by email and that I wouldn't receive a payment until 10-business daysI asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she wasn't there and I would have to hold for at least a half hour I agreed to hold When her supervisor finally answered she told me that the pending status was cleared and to expect a check within business days from their corporate headquarters I made a complaint about the poor customer service I experienced and she said she would have to pull the call She also mentioned she didn't know why the rep gave me incorrect information After this experience, I would never do business with them again and will never recommend them to any of my family or friends

Our first installation date was given a time frame from 2-5pm and no one called to inform us that the crew was running behind on their last job and wasn't going to make itThen after rescheduling, two guys showed up, they were asked to be mindful that our room had just been re-sheet rocked with new trim and paintI was told scratches and dings can happen because of sizing the carpet and tacking it down When they were done we had razor blade marks all over the trim from where they cut the carpet and dents on our closet door casings that needed to be re-sanded, and wood puttied to fix and be re paintedWe asked for our second installation appointment that a different crew come out and we confirmed multiple times with reassurance that that was the caseOur date of 2nd delivery the same crew came back and when told about the issues last time and to please be as careful as possible again in areas that had been re-sheet rocked, sanded trim and had all new paint he refused to install the carpet unless I signed the completion paperwork before he even started the jobWhen I said no that's not what we did last time customer service was called by the installer to say he could not do the jobWhen we spoke to customer service they were informed as well as saw in their notes all the issues that had been documentedUpon speaking with installation manager they promised a new crew for the very next day first thing in the am however I was called and given a eta of 2-5pm againAfter relaying our issues and confirming the amount of work that needed to be done and expressing concern for that time frame I was reassured they would be here until it was doneAt 315pm I received a call saying the installers truck broke down at his last job and wouldn't make itAfter asking to speak with a manager and being put on hold for minutes, she relayed to me that the installation manager was getting a new crew together and picking up the materials and would be here to do the jobNow the installation manager has called and said his only crew would not be done for another hours (it's after 4pm) and they are having a hard time finding another truck for the installer to useI've had itI've done all I can do to make sure our wishes were noted and followed through and every time they have disappointed usNever once have they offered anything for our inconvenience and multiple days of work lost waiting around for them and all the headachesWe have company coming over and at this point still no carpet and unable to get our nursery furniture in the room and we are do in less than weeks

So tired of talking with Empire reps have asked Keith *** to call me directI am retired VN Vet - Air Evachave top level managerial experience with over employeesFirst call required visit on 11/15/16(?)...no call no show, after recall Amber Upton visits next day, said both rooms will be done finished by Thanksgiving with "bonded employees" carded $guys from Guatemala showed up without all materials (none for room and not enough for the other)Could not communicate they don't speak English - luckily wife of yrs speaks fluent Spanish so had to wait for her to come homeAt last decided to start work with what they hadMeanwhile called Amber 6x no response, called Kayla (too bad nothing I can do) requested mgr to call mehrs later Charleene *** called back promised a minor refundGuatemalan guys came back next day (of them)..very angry and depressed as they travel form Atlanta GA (3+ hr road trip one way)I asked if they were angry - one responded something in Spanish and said "go ask wife" apparently they wanted to express that they were tired (no kidding after hrs on the road - I doubt with a drivers license)BTW I know what "***" and '***" meansI am ill every time I walk these roomsToday talked with Joy and Carissa from Empire with no resolutionDemand recoup - $1K for suffering, all of Amber *** commission and $from Charlene Keith W call me...I can help your organizationVR/
