Empire Today just refloored three rooms in our home. We are very satisfied with the entire experience. The floors are beautiful and the installers were fantastic. Thank you for our new rooms.

I had engineered hardwood/acacia installed in my dining room, foyer and kitchen in July 2016. Although the final appearance is nice, I am unsure of the quality of the flooring. There is no company name on the product. I was happy with the customer service. After I received a price by the salesman, which was quite high, I had contacted customer service and they changed the pricing more to my liking. I would have liked to know what the product cost per square foot, but they couldn't provide that information. Installation was done the day that I was told. The installers were from New Jersey (I live in Northeastern PA), and they arrived at 7 am, which was earlier than scheduled, but that was fine with me. The only problem, they had to wait 2 hours before they were able to contact their office with some questions. The installation was complete in a few hours. One minor complaint I have was that there were glue smudges on the floor. They had a product that they used to remove them, but in the right light a lot of the smudges can still be seen. After a month, it seems that the glue smudges are diminishing, probably after I had wiped down the floor a few times. The BIGGEST complaint I have....they used a tool to cut door moldings so the flooring can slide underneath. Either the blade wasn't the right size, or dull, because they totally ruined most of my door moldings, so much so that I had to replace six pieces. Others I was able to sand and restain so the damage wasn't as noticeable. No, I didn't say anything to the installers, and No I didn't call Empire Today. I fixed the issue myself, and didn't want them to have to come back and not do a perfect job on replacing the moldings. I didn't call and report the damage, because I felt they wouldn't give me any sort of credit on my order, since they claimed they had given me the best possible price. I won't deal with Empire Today again, I would rather deal with a local company. Thank you

We ordered carpet for three rooms, hallway and stairs. We had an appointment scheduled. The day of the installation came but the installer did not. After jumping through hoops trying to get answers from Empire, we were told our appointment had been changed to the next week without letting us know. Installation day came again. The installer came as well but did not bring enough material to complete the job. We received a call a couple days later wanting to know why we did not pay in full when the installer came not caring that the job was not complete. Two weeks later the installer came again and finished the job. We were satisfied with the finished results until I vacuumed the carpet. The carpet unraveled in two different rooms. Calls back to Empire over the last month have been a nightmare. Always someone saying someone will call you back. No Calls. We were told that we had someone coming today, finally, to repair the carpet. Again, no one shows up. When we again finally get someone on the phone he tells us that they can't get in contact with the one who was scheduled to come today and not only that but he needs an interpreter. I am not an interpreter. That is not in my contract. So again, sitting here by the phone, waiting.
If anyone reads this, DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I am spreading the word to everyone I can.

Empire Today's carpets are poor quality and they refuse to honor warranty by hiding behind clauses in the contract such as requirement to have two receipts of professional cleaning. We own a commercial grade [redacted] and we clean our carpets when necessary. However, Empire Today says that is not sufficient and will not honor the poor quality carpet that was sold to us. We will NEVER purchase carpet from this company again! Customer service is disrespectful and they did not value our business.

We were very pleased with the entire experience, from scheduling sales appointment to installation. There were no hidden "add-ons", which we experienced with the big home improvement stores. The price we were quoted included everything. Seeing the flooring samples in our home really helped us make the best choices. We were happy to leave the furniture moving and carpet removal to the installers which made things so much easier on us. We would definitely recommend Empire Today over the home improvement stores!

The issue I had was that according to an email I got from the company I was scheduled a window of two hours for a free estimate of services at my home. Waited two hours and not one phone call or email. When I tried to contact the company I waited almost 15 minutes on the phone and nothing. I wasted two hours for no reason.

We purchased LVT (luxury vinyl tile) and had it installed by empire. The covering in one piece of tile has peeled up and tore. We contacted Empire and they would not do anything because it is past their installation warranty. Their only offer was to make us pay for half of a case ($80) for one tile. No spare tiles were left behind by the installer
We called [redacted] a flooring and they advised the tile has a lifetime warranty but the claim needed to filed through and by Empire. We contacted Empire and told them what the manufacturer said. Empire still did not wish to do anything and then said they would help only if we never filed another warranty claim. We are still trying to come to a reasonable conclusion on this.
Not the way I like to be treated after spending $5000 at this business.

Empire did a great job on installing the laminate floor for my LR and DR

I had a great experience using Empire. The sales person and installation team were professional and personable. I had a terrible experience with [redacted] and my expectations for Empire were low. Empire was true to their word and the sales person came when she said she would and I had my carpet on the promised day. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It was so easy to book an appointment for a sales representative to come to my home. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. His knowledge helped us make decisions about a big project and he made sure we got the best deal possible. The installation was flawless, the two guys were strong, professional and did a great job. I am so happy with the entire process.

I had an appointment for a carpet measuring this past Saturday. No one ever showed up or contacted me to say they would not be able to come. That would have been excusable. I found it extremely unprofessional to not show up or contact me. When I was contacted on Monday for a reschedule, the woman was not apologetic in the slightest. She seemed annoyed that I was angry that my time was wasted. I would not work with them again as they are clearly unreliable.

The entire process was professional and precise! A great experience!

Empire Today installed vinyl in my kitchen. It was a very professional job.
They were very courteous and worked through for 2 hours. My floor is perfect.

Empire today was wonderful. The installers were kind and considerate and did a first rate job installing the flooring!

We had an issue with the amount of carpet delivered for our first install date. Empire made good on the error and sent out a great team of installers the very next weekend which is what we asked for.

The salesman was polite and seemed very honest. The installers went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Very professional. Would definitely use Empire again.

Horrible business practices!
Horrible customer service.

I needed carpet and laminate flooring, its my home so I want the best so I don't have to deal with it for about 10 years or so. I made an appointment in the morning and that afternoon a sales rep came out to my home, Brian. Brian carried in the carpet and laminate samples to choose from and gave us some good input on the product. We picked our products and than the price came. It was a bit steep even with the discount, Brian made another attempt to help us out and we gave him a number and he met it. So Brian successfully did his job and we were happy thus far.

The carpet guys came out, they called about 20 minutes out to verify that we were going to be home and if it was fine to come over. We agreed and they were prompt at 20 minutes. We verified the carpet and they did a walk through and explained where they were going to start and what they were going to do. We agreed and they started carpeting 4 bedrooms. They were finished in about 6 hours and it looked FANTASTIC!

The Laminate guys came the next day, they did the same as the carpet guys and they started, it took them 2 full days, 8-6pm. The second day they were here until about 9pm. These guys did a very good job, the only complaint I had was that a few pieces on that lay down where the doors were, they forgotten to tack them down, so I ended up having to do it myself. The laminate there is very very sharp and I ended slicing across two of my fingers, but other than that it was a extremely great job.

Everything about our flooring installation was excellent, from sales to installation and follow-up.

On final purchase order, information I needed was not provided till after signing.
Was told credit was accepted, but they did not tell me it was different than the one I signed the papers for, it resulted in a call, which I was told contract signed, nothing can be done, I contacted Credit Company they had put me with and after some consultation, they agreed to work w/me so I could afford to pay for purchase.
