We just hired Empire Today, [redacted] Street, Denver, CO to install new hardwood flooring in our family room and hallways. I spoke with a representative early in the week and she set me up with a sales appointmant the following Saturday. The sales rep was very nice, informative, respectable and arrived on time. He helped us choose the best flooring for our needs. That day he gave us an install date the following Monday. Installers arrived early am and worked each day until 6 pm., finishing our floors in 3 days. We choose pre-finished hardwood so there was no sanding and fumes, which was excellent for me as I have allergies. The installers not only picked up their tools and refuse, they cleaned the new hardwood before leaving. I was so impressed with these two men I couldn't tell them often enough. I highly reccomend Empire Today and highly reccomend Clinton [redacted], Flooring Consultant and the team from Tiger Flooring, Installers! Great guys and awesome work ethic!

Great experience!!
Professional & prompt !!

Everything about our flooring installation was excellent, from sales to installation and follow-up.

Had sales appointment and rep failed to show up. I called company and customer service rep said sales rep had car trouble and they would reschedule. I complained about unprofessionalism for not informing in advance. Office Manager Harold offered $200 credit and setup guaranteed appointment next day at exact time. They never showed up again! I called and customer service rep spent time reading notes, had nothing intelligent to say, offered to have me speak with manager. After long hold no manager available. Customer service rep offered to have manager call back. I asked her not to bother as I will find a more responsible company for my carpet and installation needs; and will negatively blog about my experience to prevent others from making same mistake. One quick search on Yelp and noticed every review is negative. Wish I read this in advance but hopefully you are. Everything all these people complained about is accurate. Don't waste your time with this company - they don't care about wasting your time. And because they couldn't get it right at sales, I have no idea of their quality and workmanship.

I wish I would have done my research before getting my floors done with this horrible
company. Like always every company will promise you the world and everything is beautiful but after they get you in and get your money they forget about the customer service they promise you at the beginning. I had our floors installed on December of 2015
is May of 2016 and my laminate is lifting on certain spots and splitting, also some areas seen to be almost warp. I have contacted empire and even have a complaint number and today is the day and time and I have not have any resolution. I was told that the floors have a lifetime warranty which is why we decided to to proceed with the purchase but after having all these issues I deeply regret not shopping around.will not do business with this company ever again and will not recommend them either.

I needed carpet and laminate flooring, its my home so I want the best so I don't have to deal with it for about 10 years or so. I made an appointment in the morning and that afternoon a sales rep came out to my home, Brian. Brian carried in the carpet and laminate samples to choose from and gave us some good input on the product. We picked our products and than the price came. It was a bit steep even with the discount, Brian made another attempt to help us out and we gave him a number and he met it. So Brian successfully did his job and we were happy thus far.

The carpet guys came out, they called about 20 minutes out to verify that we were going to be home and if it was fine to come over. We agreed and they were prompt at 20 minutes. We verified the carpet and they did a walk through and explained where they were going to start and what they were going to do. We agreed and they started carpeting 4 bedrooms. They were finished in about 6 hours and it looked FANTASTIC!

The Laminate guys came the next day, they did the same as the carpet guys and they started, it took them 2 full days, 8-6pm. The second day they were here until about 9pm. These guys did a very good job, the only complaint I had was that a few pieces on that lay down where the doors were, they forgotten to tack them down, so I ended up having to do it myself. The laminate there is very very sharp and I ended slicing across two of my fingers, but other than that it was a extremely great job.

We are very happy with our new flooring. We installed both Laminate and Carpet. The whole process was very efficient from sale to installation. The communications were excellent both from the main company offices and from the installers themselves. Empire provided a turn-key installation so everything was included in the original estimate from removal of the old flooring to finished, cleaned up and main furniture replaced in the rooms. We had excellent experiences with our installers - the carpet is separate from the Laminate. Both were sub-contractors. They showed up on time, were respectful of our house, belongs, and were professional in their work. The pricing was reasonable but certainly not as cheap as it could be done. It was nice to have everything under the same corporate umbrella and given the quality and warranty, we felt it was worth it.

Had Engineered Hardwood installed in living/dining room area this week. The floors are beautiful and the installation was flawless - just as promised by the sales rep. Could not have asked for better service!

Our installers were great as well as the product. We are very happy! The sales representative also very kind.

From the beginning booking of an appointment to end result of my engineered hardwood floors I couldn't be more pleased with Empire Today. The salesman was experienced and knowledgeable. He worked out different options and combination textiles for me to fit in with my budget. The installers were efficient and took great care moving my furniture and putting it back in place.

I was very satisfied with Empire Today. The installation went very well.

Quick fast got it done no issues.

Great company to work with. Sales and installation employees stayed professional from start to finish. My floors look amazing!

This company is the worst in customer service. They are more eager to put in new product than fix the product they have installed improperly. No executive officer is available to speak. I will never use this company again and will not recommend them to my worst enemy.

If I could rate -10 I would. Biggest Mistake EVER!
Dear Empire,
I have never dealt with a company that provides such poor customer service. My install date was February 11th. The product didn't arrive on the truck and nobody called to tell me that they wouldn't be showing up that day. After several phone calls and SEVERAL - several being 25 minutes (just to transfer me to the W Sac office), I was able to reach someone, Jacob in the W. Sac office, who advised that my product didn't arrive on the truck that day. This was about an hour and a half after I spoke with my sales rep, Dan [redacted], who advised that my product was on the truck, the truck was just running late. On February 13th, the contractor, Brian, and his crew arrived. Brian assured me that everything would be done that day except for the stairs, because the stair parts didn't show up. At the end of the day, the floors were down for 50% of my house. There were no baseboards and they advised they would be back the next day to finish up. The next day, which was Valentine's day, I spent the day waiting for them to finish. I must say, the contractors did beautiful work, however, nobody at Empire kept in touch with me. One person called to tell me the contractors would be arriving shortly, but that was after they had already been there for an hour. Brian said my stairs would be arriving Tuesday. Tuesday came, we're now on the 16th, and nobody called, nobody showed. I spoke with Donna, also in the W. Sac office and she advised that the product would be arriving Saturday and they would be out then. I had to work Saturday so she scheduled the stairs to be installed on Tuesday the 23rd. On the 23rd, nobody called, nobody arrived. I waited until 1030 to call Donna and I ended up leaving a message on her voicemail. The installer arrived about 20 minutes later. He cut 2 inches off of each of my stairs. This was never asked or explained to me. My stair case now has very small steps. Again, the installer did a great job and the stairs look beautiful, but now have very small steps. When I spoke with Donna, she apologized for any inconvience and advised that they would be taking a portion off of my bill. My sales person never kept in touch with me during the entire process. Three times Empire did not arrive on time or call prior to showing up. It is now February 24th, almost 2 full weeks after the install was supposed to be complete and it is finally done. I was charged the full amount for the job, still haven't had any follow up to confirm I am a satisfied customer. I will NEVER recommend Empire to Anyone. I can't believe such a large company provides such poor customer service. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. At one point one of the employees read me the notes in my file and said "the notes say that she didn't call you because she had too many other people to call". Let me tell you this, I don't know why my 8,000 dollars isn't important to your company but for calling yourself EMPIRE TODAY, you are providing false advertisement.

Empire Today installed carpeting for us within 24 hours of our meeting with the sales associate. He listened to what we wanted and provided samples exactly like our request. Installers were quick and we really didn't even know they were in our house. They took of their business very professionally and treated our home with respect. My carpet is beautiful!

never showed up or called for a hardwood flooring estimate as scheduled between 1PM and 3PM EDST in Lebanon Springs, NY 12125. I called the toll-free empire number three times. Always got someone to answer, but they said they couldn't reach the estimator. I waited until 5:30PM and then gave up. I emailed via both person that emailed me, and via Empire website. I got better response from [redacted]

I only wish as for being a returning customer it wouldn't of been so expensive

Empire Today "FREE" estimate comes with stings attached. It seems the "free" estimate carries an expectation of an immediate sale. When the salesman arrives at your residence, that is THE sole purpose, to make a sale. In this case, being demeaning and condescending. It seems Empire should choose how and where I spend my money, without being afforded the opportunity as a consumer to shop around for the best price. Instead this salesman insisted I make the decision right away to get that price (sounds very familiar --- usually meaning run away --- fast!). The salesman when on to say how I "wasted his time". Although I had taken time off work, and he was on the clock being paid, "I" wasted his time. Yes, I kicked this "person" out of my house, and yes I called the company to complain; but wanted to offer this warning to consumers. If you want to ponder how to spend 'YOUR' money, expect strong arm tactics and demeaning behavior. I have had several free estimates for other services, afforded the opportunity to compare pricing, and in most cases ended up where I started. After validating their prices were truly the lowest, I made subsequent purchases. It seems Empire (in this instance) wants to discourage that type of consumer behavior. In retrospect, if when I made the appointment these expectations were known, I could have saved myself the aggravation and taken my business elsewhere. Now even if it costs me more, Empire has lost this customer. Thanks for wasting "my" time.

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE , PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY,RESPECTFUL . THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND THE CARPET IS WONDERFUL.
