We have reached out to the customer and are scheduling a time to resolve the issue.

Mr. [redacted]'s warranty and gap has been cancelled and he will be refunded the money by the warranty and gap companies.  The additional etching has been sent for the check to be processed, and will be to Mr. [redacted] by the end of the week.

I bought an extended warranty on new car in cash, no bank involved I am the owner of the warranty and car. I went in on 10/23/17 to cancel extended warranty and was told 4-6 weeks to get the money back. We are now in the end of the seventh week I called weekly on the progress of the refund was told on 12-5-17 that it was processed and being mailed out and would receive in 2 days. It’s now the third day and no refund. I am seeking $1,000 for the inconvenience of waiting longer than the agreed and signed paperwork of over 6 weeks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I would like North County Kia to correct the overspray issue, which was confirmed by 5 different detail shops who took some solvent and a rag tested a small spot and was able to take off the OVERSPRAY without ruining the paint job.  It is most definitely not sand and doesn’t need to be repainted as KIA says.  [redacted]

I was promised 4-6 weeks. The company did not meet there end of the agreement and took longer and unacceptable time frame. Plus I was told it was put in the mail on 12-5 and was going to be delivered 12-7.  Being I was lied to constantly from everyone I had contact with at Kia.  My inconvienc for waiting longer than promised time.

The business reply stated that they would send out a check with my refund for the etching by the end of the week. I allowed time for the check to arrive prior to responding to the business, and my silence seems to have ended the complaint. No check has arrived, and this is the third time over the course of a month the general manager has told me the check will be sent "by the end of the week." The end of the week has come and gone four times and no check has ever arrived. In addition, it has been over 5 weeks since I was told I would receive a refund to my loan for the warranty and gap insurance and I have yet to receive this as well. I also want to reiterate that both the salesman and finance department unequivocally lied and stated that the warranty would be paid for by the dealership.  I am stuck with a lease payment that is much higher than I would have paid had they not charged me for a product I was told I would receive for free. This is unacceptable.Lastly, I purchased this vehicle on 5/13/17 and two months later I still do not have my registration. This was not even addressed in their response. The businesses response to this is extremely inadequate and I would like to request the complaint be reopened.  I have been trying to solve this issue without the Revdex.com for over a month and have received the same answer as was given in their business reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter,[redacted]

Used vehicles don't necessarily come with two keys.  If the customer who previously owns the vehicle doesn't provide a second key, then we don't provide one. Secondly, the car was purchased on November 12, and the temporary registration from the dealership is good for 90 days (February...

12).  DMV is notoriously slow, and the paperwork is in process.  Dealerships have 90 days to process paperwork, so nothing "illegal" is being done.   Thanks, [redacted]
