Hello,In researching your account, I show that it has been cancelled effectively 4/22/15.I will give you a call today regarding a refund.Thank you.

According to our records and system notes the first time this customer contacted us to close the account was on July 7th 2017. The customer communicated with two different members of our contact center by email up until July 20th at which point we received a signed cancellation form...

back from the customer. We then closed the customer's account. As the customer closed the account after the 5th business day of the month they were responsible for their final month's billing which was assessed in the first week of Aug. That was the final bill the customer will receive from us. As we have no record of any communication from the customer prior to July 7th we cannot issue a refund, however if the customer has documentation showing he communicated with us prior to July 7th we'll be happy to refund for the period after his initial request to close the account.

Please advised the merchant I have put in the request for $300.00 and she should see the refund with 21 business days back to her account.

7-1-2014 I signed paperwork for "[redacted]" a smooth talking sales lady for "[redacted]" AKA "[redacted]"; to whom I had faxed our previous credit card processing statements to, for review.[redacted] declared I had been scammed into paying high rates for processing our customers credit card payments, of which she promised to retrieve $871.66 of those fraudulent charges by our previous credit card processor; which she did! Thank her very much, she kept her word that time which increased my confidence in her immediately.She also promised in the a written contract to place us into a “Non Cancel-able Equipment Finance Lease Agreement” (for $84.44 per month) with “[redacted]. (Lessor)”. But if Capital Bankcard broke our contract of (“Interchange Plus” pricing @ .30% + $.10 per Credit or Debit Card Transaction, & +$.07 per Pin Debit Card Transaction) I could still cancel the “Non Cancel-able Equipment Finance Lease Agreement” (for $84.44 per month) with “[redacted]. by simply filing a request of release with Capital Bankcard; who would then have to assume the “Non Cancel-able Equipment Finance Lease Agreement” (for $84.44 per month) with “[redacted]. (Lessor)”.May 13th 2015 I called Capital Bankcard & spoke with a [redacted] and then also [redacted] who authorized the return of equipment to them, who sent us a return label to send the leased equipment back to them; promising to assume or buyout the “Non Cancel-able Equipment Finance Lease Agreement” (for $84.44 per month) with “[redacted]. (Lessor)”, which we used & returned the Equipment as they instructed.However Capital Bankcard failed to buyout the “Non Cancel-able Equipment Finance Lease Agreement” (for $84.44 per month) with “[redacted]. (Lessor)”Therefore “[redacted]. (Lessor)” has continued to draft our checking Account for the $84.44 per month ever since. And we have sent them numerous notices via fax, & email asking Capital Bankcard to keep their promise and assume; buy out our lease which [redacted] & [redacted]  [redacted] promised they would.Capital Bankcard holds the equipment (at [redacted] in a box with a [redacted] tracking #[redacted] on it, picked up here at [redacted] June 1st) [redacted] has charged [redacted] $84.44 per month since the 1st of June 2015 for equipment we don't even have.I do sincerely thank Capital Bankcard for that refund check #[redacted] for $84.44 for that first charge [redacted]. charged us on June 1st 20154-25-2016 [redacted] negotiated a pay off balance with [redacted] of $2,000.00, which we paid in full.I do sincerely thank Capital Bankcard for that refund check #4352 for $624.08 for charges [redacted]. charged us through Feb 2016We simply ask that they keep their word & pay the final buy out amount as promised $2000.00

Emailed merchant in regards to bank statement in order to refund the fees. received response back the office manager is on vacation and will send them as soon as possible.

We apologize for the difficulty in getting the account shut down upon the initial request. Capital Bankcard accounts are provided by outside sales agents who also provide the support, however in this instance the customer was clearly not getting the support he needed. We've shut down the account and...

We're unclear what the customer is referencing, possibly they're confusing us with another processor? We reviewed all the customer's batch reports and they've been fully funded for all their transactions. They may be confused that both Friday and Saturday transactions are deposited on Monday and...

This merchant called our customer service center the day the transaction occurred and inquired as to whether they would receive money if they processed a stolen credit card. Our representative responded that we could see the transaction in question, advised that merchants are responsible for...

liability/chargebacks if swiping a chip enabled card and then went on to explain EMV and Chip Liability and how it rests with the merchant. EMV Liability shift was an industry wide change for merchants in 2015 and we provide multiple equipment options to ensure all our merchant have the option of using EMV compliant equipment, however it is not legally required that merchant use EMV compliant equipment. Responsibility lay with the merchant to ensure they are compliant. As we advised the merchant when they called that they should not process a transaction they suspect is fraudulent and also provide EMV compliant equipment options we will not be issuing any refund for the chargebacks the merchant incurred.

There appears to have been a miscommunication between the customer's sales agent and Capital Bankcard. We have communicated with both the customer and the sales agent and can confirm that the account has been shut down and a refund for the customer has been approved and issued.
