Review: They call my house from 8:30 a.m. Untill 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. Everyday including SAT and Sun. They also call from different numbers this insane. I know I owe the bill but this is harrassment.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me once a month will be more than enough. The only reason I dont pay is they will not leave me alone. When I pay onit they will still call. Enough is enough.

Review: Capital One merged accounts with [redacted], in merging the web sites they locked me out of my Auto Loan account. I can no longer access my account, and I spent over 2 hours on the phone today to no avail. They claim they cannot fix the issue they created by merging the web sites. I cannot access my auto loan account, make my payments or do anything. I have had access to my account for over a year, and now they created a huge security and financial issue for me. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours and did not resolve the issue. They are saying I had an old account the [redacted] which was over 3 years old and never used and they merged the accounts together and effectively locked me out of my current account. This was done without my permission, and now I cannot make my payments or manage my account.Desired Settlement: I want full access to my account immediately and I want reimbursement for any late fees for my auto loan and I want a full explanation as to how they were able to merge accounts without informing me and getting permission to do so and assurances that the accounts were active.

Review: Our truck went up for repossession on Tuesday I called that same day to figure out a payment arrangement. I talked to two different people that day got two different answers. I asked what payment options we had to pay off their bill for our vehicle I got two options pay it in full, or $700 a month for 12 months he called it a "settlement". Which would be half of what they want ($14,354.59) $8,400 is their settlement amount. Please note we are a low income family and this vehicle gets my husband to and from work everyday. Now I was told normally this company only allows a full pay out within three months, the only reason we got a 12 month option because we had a previous bankruptcy which the vehicle was included in. This seems a bit crazy, I offered to put $700 down that day to take away the repossession order but then we would have to continue the $700 for 11 months, which monthly we do not bring in that amount, they would not work with us to pay this bill. They would not allow a lesser amount like $400 a month which we could pay, or extend the amount of months to pay it off. Plus the person I was speaking to could not let me as to why we owe $14,354.57, and could not tell me what was owed or if it was a interest rate that was tacked on, he did know that is a different department. So our truck that my husband worked for, and needs to be able to go to work has been repossessed because this company would not try to work with us, I honestly don't understand as to why they wont accept a smaller amount or maybe even extend the time allowed to pay it off. We want to pay them we just cannot afford the amount.Desired Settlement: Instead of taking vehicles why not have other payment options, lesser amount for normal hard working minimum wage people. Make time to pay longer, don't just say this is how much you owe just pay it. Be reasonable which most companies are to a point, other auto loan companies just want money and to them as long as they get paid for that month or weekly they are happy. Please work with your customers don't deter them be reasonable, people work hard for what they have and having a large company I think somewhere you lost the compassion, and the want and desire to help your customer's.

The letter I received was pertaining to a bankruptcy, not my actual complaint of how they did not have any payment plans offered to their costumers. The only reason we had to a bankruptcy was because they did not offer any reasonable payment plans this solves nothing.
Review: I have been a VERY disgruntled customer of this company ALL year and after speaking to people about my issue, I have been advised to file complaints about what happened to me.
I received a call from this company about a year ago, and was offered enrollment of a program they offered for the holidays for customers. I was told that I could make a change to my payment schedule and take advantage of not having a payment for a while.
It all sounded a little to good to be true, but I continued to ask questions. My MAIN concern was that my credit would not be affected by my acceptance of this program, and I was told it would NOT be.
After enrolling and seeing that the first initial payment wasn't taken out of my account, I called and was informed that the payment date was entered wrong and my enrollment was not valid anymore and that I had to RE-ENROLL, which I did.
And AGAIN, I was told this RE=ENROLLMENT would have no impact on my credit.
Well....It DID impact my credit and those payments were reported as LATE.
Since then I have been just TOO angry to think straight and now I am ready to tell what happened to me and to take the action I need to take against this company.Desired Settlement: I want the LATE payments removed from my account, and I can move forward with my account in the positive.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have found that there is actually an issue concerning my CREDIT CARD account. So I definitely have to continue with this complaint.
Regards,
Review: I have applied for a CapitalOne credit card several times over the course of 3 years. My credit score (fico) has been as low as 514, and as high as 712, which is high enough for cards with excellent credit, even though capital one gears most of it's products to those with lower scores (600 and under). Numerous times while applying for various cards, they have cited various, and often non-relative reasons why they can't approve me, such as "• Based on your credit report from Equifax, the balance on one or more accounts has exceeded the
credit limit". These reasons have changed every single time I have applied, and some have been down right ludicrous, such Based on your credit report from Trans Union, number of delinquent past or present credit
obligations". Yes, I had one 30 day late, which happens, but this is no reason to deny someone for a card, and as duly noted on my credit reports, I have only missed one payment, and have made over 23 on time payments. I feel that capital one has "black balled" me from getting a card, as people who have credit situations (such as being 30k in debt) have received cards from them.Complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I am asking if Capital One cannot offer me credit, even if it's a $200 card, to remove all credit inquiries from all 3 credit reports. If Capital One cannot fulfil one of the mentioned obligations, I will be left no choice but to pursue litigation, as I have sufficient evidence they are "Black baling" me.

Whoever replied to my complaint has horrible reading comprehension skills, as they only addressed 1/4th of the complaint. The main issue i,s that in the 4 years I've been able to apply for a credit card, my [redacted] score has been anywhere from 480 to 712.
Review: I called in to dispute a charge on my account and also set up for auto pay and I told the agent that I would be traveling and out of town for about 6 months or so. I told them I would not have access to a computer or getting my mail and I wanted to make sure that my minimum credit card payment would be paid and they told me to set up the auto pay and not to worry it would be take care of. Well I came back home and my account is closed and reported to the credit bureau that I was late and closed. I have no problem paying my balance due but I want my account to remain open and the fees removed and take off my credit report. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I have no problem paying my balance due but I want my account to remain open and the fees removed and take off my credit report.

Review: I went to make a payment today on June 11, 2015 and noticed my payment was unusually high. My account is showing that a payment was not made for the month of May. I have never had a payment past 30 days on this account. I submitted an online payment and it's not showing up. I want to ensure my account does not reflect a 30 day late on my account. I never received a phone call, email, nothing, informing that a payment was not received. I have submitted payments online before and have never had this issue. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: Simply put, I do not want a 30 day late on my account since I have been responsible with my account and zero notifications were made that a payment was not received. As mentioned above my account has never been over 30 days late since this account was opened.

CAP ONE
#[redacted]
PO Box 30281
Salt Lake City, UT 84130
(800) 955-7070
Per my credit report the account was closed 11/2006 but no one at Capital One is able to provide me details nor can they find me. I do not want to make a dispute with the credit bureau as I am unsure if the account is really mine or not. I have been on hold for over 2 hours of my day being transferred to multiple departments and no end result. I need this copies ASAP just in case of identify theft. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I would like all my statements for this Capital One account for the entire year of 2006.

Review: I have had my car for over two years now. Out of the 2 and half years I have only asked for one extension of my car payment to allow me time to try and get caught up during one rough patch. I contacted Capital Auto because I noticed on my bank statements where my monthly payment tried to withdraw twice, I knew that only one of the charges would process and wanted to contact them. It has been over five months since the one extension that I did and thought that It might be okay if I requested another one. During my call I spoke with an agent and explained to her first the situation with the returned payment, which we were able to get worked out and she thanked me for notifying them of this. I explained to her that I did not want to just leave my account in bad shape. I then went into explaining my financial hardship situation and wanted to ask about receiving an extension, seeing that I keep falling two months behind. She said that she saw were I had received one in August 2015, and that she would not be able to process another one. I told her, I had been struggling to keep up the payments and that they were extremely high along with the interest rate, was there anything that could be done to lower my payment or give me help with trying to catch up the payments. She said that they could break my payment for one month up which would increase it for the next three months. I stated that would not help me. She transfered me to a manager who repeated what she had said. I then asked him what could be done to help me with this situation. He mentioned that I could have my due date changed for the January payment to be later in the month, but it is already late so that would have no effect. He then said that while I couldn't get the extension now, I might could later. But he did not know how long that would be. I then said so someone needing help thinking they may qualify for another extension may never qualify again. I was basically offered no help.My complaint concerns: an Auto LoanDesired Settlement: For what I went through on the phone trying to get help. I think I should be given a two month extension on my car payment. Or they should lower my monthly payments for the duration of my car loan.

Capital One lied over the phone to me. They offered me no solution and could not even tell me when I would be able to qualify for another extension. I would like to state that if they can not offer a solution that is fair then I will simply file another complaint and file other complaints with multiple government agencies. I would like to request a copy of the recorded phone call I made when I first called asking for an extension when the agent over the phone laughed when I told him that they basically leave people with no options and could not tell me when I would qualify for an extension on my car. I refuse their offer.

Review: I had an auto loan that was paid in full within a month of getting the loan. During that time I cancelled the warranty I had purchased on the car. The issuer of the warranty sent the refund of $3070.00 was sent to lien holder Capital One. Since the loan had already been paid off that money should have been refunded to me. Regards,
Review: I have been had a credit card with capital one since 2003. I am very satisfied with the company and the service. However recently I notice interest charges were being taken out of the payments I was making which reduce the amount left on the card. As stated I have been with capital one since 2003. These charges are new. I called the 1 800 number and talked to the representative for capital one. First I talked with the fist rep and explained the situation why I was being charged interest on top of the minimum amount of payment. These charges just recently started last month. After taking to the rep for about 20 mins he past me on to someone else who he said he could help me. But once the second person got on the phone and I explained why was I being charged interest when I made the minimum payment that included the interest. basically I am being charged interest twice. This rep told me that the interest has always been taken off the card on top of the interest I paid. basically leaving no balance on the care. The rep told me it was my fault and offer absolutely no help.My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: refund the second interest charge for two months.

Review: Abusive fees for late fees. Their business practices involves lying. For over 4 years my card has the same credit line no matter how prompt I make my payments. Formely from [redacted] I was told my acount was going to be reviewed 2 years ago, and periodically being reviewed and based on performance I would have better credit. I have other accounts over 1500, multiple line of credit with citibank, and this people no only charges abusives fees, or interests, they also change the due dates too often.

Review: Re: Unauthorized Credit Inquiries
Dear Capital One Auto-Finance,
I recently received a copy of my [redacted] credit report. The credit
report showed a credit inquiries by your company that I do not recall
authorizing. I understand that you shouldn't be allowed to put an
inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. Please have these

difficult for me to acquire credit.
I have sent this letter by the Revdex.com because I need your prompt

documentation that you have had the unauthorized inquiries removed.
If you find that I am remiss, and you did have my authorization to
inquire into my credit report then please send me proof of this.Desired Settlement: Please remove all hard credit inquires on all three credit reports.

Dear
I have reviewed the letter from Capital One in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that their proposed non action would not resolve this complaint.
We request removal of one of the two credit inquires from all 3 credit reporting agencies. Capital One Auto Finance: March 03, 2014 and March 07, 2014. Please remove one of the two as it is considered a duplicate request and all credit reporting agencies do agree one of the two should be removed and they request a letter from Capital One Auto Finance for removal of one of the two.
Thank you for your time and cooperation in this most important business matter.
Warmest Regards,

Review: I recently pulled my credit report and notice late payments that are suppose to be on time payments. I request and was assured I had a deferment in place in July-Augus 2012. However since that date my accounts have been a month behind until I noticed it in Augus 2014 in which I tried to double payments to get the auto loan current. I'm furious that the agency didn't process this nor have any documentation of this account.Desired Settlement: removal of all late payments since july-august 2012
