Review: I have requested an image copy of my $5000.00 escrow payment check so I can give it to my mortgage broker he requested. I close on my house on the 20th. Yet I still have not received a simple copy of the check via image format. This could cost me my house. I need this resolved. I can not open the image PDF. Capital One has been aware of the problem for the last two weeks. I've called, email, sent support request for the last two weeks they still have not fixed the problem and provided me a copy of the image check. I've tried to open the PDF via multiple browsers and computers to no avail. Support at CapitalOne also have not been able to open.Desired Settlement: Fix the PDF opening problem with Proof of Payment with [redacted] , Provide me with a image copy of the $5000.00 escrow payment ASAP. I need this resolved ASAP. I have had no luck with Capital One assisting in a resolution.

Review: I went to make a payment today on June 11, 2015 and noticed my payment was unusually high. My account is showing that a payment was not made for the month of May. I have never had a payment past 30 days on this account. I submitted an online payment and it's not showing up. I want to ensure my account does not reflect a 30 day late on my account. I never received a phone call, email, nothing, informing that a payment was not received. I have submitted payments online before and have never had this issue. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: Simply put, I do not want a 30 day late on my account since I have been responsible with my account and zero notifications were made that a payment was not received. As mentioned above my account has never been over 30 days late since this account was opened.

Review: I called in to dispute a charge on my account and also set up for auto pay and I told the agent that I would be traveling and out of town for about 6 months or so. I told them I would not have access to a computer or getting my mail and I wanted to make sure that my minimum credit card payment would be paid and they told me to set up the auto pay and not to worry it would be take care of. Well I came back home and my account is closed and reported to the credit bureau that I was late and closed. I have no problem paying my balance due but I want my account to remain open and the fees removed and take off my credit report. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I have no problem paying my balance due but I want my account to remain open and the fees removed and take off my credit report.

Review: Capital One merged accounts with [redacted], in merging the web sites they locked me out of my Auto Loan account. I can no longer access my account, and I spent over 2 hours on the phone today to no avail. They claim they cannot fix the issue they created by merging the web sites. I cannot access my auto loan account, make my payments or do anything. I have had access to my account for over a year, and now they created a huge security and financial issue for me. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours and did not resolve the issue. They are saying I had an old account the [redacted] which was over 3 years old and never used and they merged the accounts together and effectively locked me out of my current account. This was done without my permission, and now I cannot make my payments or manage my account.Desired Settlement: I want full access to my account immediately and I want reimbursement for any late fees for my auto loan and I want a full explanation as to how they were able to merge accounts without informing me and getting permission to do so and assurances that the accounts were active.

Review: 4 fraudulent charges were charged to my account from brazil. I was contacted by capital one and I told them that these were not my charges, considering I live in north Carolina it should have been obvious. after many hours pn the phone with capital one I was told that the funds would be made available. after checking my account,I noticed the funds were indeed NOT available. I called back to ask why I was lied to they just said sorry. after I was told an investigation had to be completed I asked how far it had been investigated. after she finished double talking me, I was told that they have not started an investigation. I eventually paid the charges and the turned around and took them back out of my account.thus making me pay twice and I still do not have access to these funds. I have been double talked and passed from person to person so much that I had no recourse but to file a complaint. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I want full credit for the payment of the fraudulent charges and credit for where I paid for them. in total I have paid over $211 for these charges made in brazil

I know I owe the bill but this is harrassment.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me once a month will be more than enough. The only reason I dont pay is they will not leave me alone. When I pay onit they will still call. Enough is enough.

Review: I have had my car for over two years now. Out of the 2 and half years I have only asked for one extension of my car payment to allow me time to try and get caught up during one rough patch. I contacted Capital Auto because I noticed on my bank statements where my monthly payment tried to withdraw twice, I knew that only one of the charges would process and wanted to contact them. It has been over five months since the one extension that I did and thought that It might be okay if I requested another one. During my call I spoke with an agent and explained to her first the situation with the returned payment, which we were able to get worked out and she thanked me for notifying them of this. I explained to her that I did not want to just leave my account in bad shape. I then went into explaining my financial hardship situation and wanted to ask about receiving an extension, seeing that I keep falling two months behind. She said that she saw were I had received one in August 2015, and that she would not be able to process another one. I told her, I had been struggling to keep up the payments and that they were extremely high along with the interest rate, was there anything that could be done to lower my payment or give me help with trying to catch up the payments. She said that they could break my payment for one month up which would increase it for the next three months. I stated that would not help me. She transfered me to a manager who repeated what she had said. I then asked him what could be done to help me with this situation. He mentioned that I could have my due date changed for the January payment to be later in the month, but it is already late so that would have no effect. He then said that while I couldn't get the extension now, I might could later. But he did not know how long that would be. I then said so someone needing help thinking they may qualify for another extension may never qualify again. I was basically offered no help.My complaint concerns: an Auto LoanDesired Settlement: For what I went through on the phone trying to get help. I think I should be given a two month extension on my car payment. Or they should lower my monthly payments for the duration of my car loan.

Capital One lied over the phone to me. They offered me no solution and could not even tell me when I would be able to qualify for another extension. I would like to state that if they can not offer a solution that is fair then I will simply file another complaint and file other complaints with multiple government agencies. I would like to request a copy of the recorded phone call I made when I first called asking for an extension when the agent over the phone laughed when I told him that they basically leave people with no options and could not tell me when I would qualify for an extension on my car. I refuse their offer.

Review: I have applied for a CapitalOne credit card several times over the course of 3 years. My credit score (fico) has been as low as 514, and as high as 712, which is high enough for cards with excellent credit, even though capital one gears most of it's products to those with lower scores (600 and under). Numerous times while applying for various cards, they have cited various, and often non-relative reasons why they can't approve me, such as "• Based on your credit report from Equifax, the balance on one or more accounts has exceeded the

credit limit". These reasons have changed every single time I have applied, and some have been down right ludicrous, such Based on your credit report from Trans Union, number of delinquent past or present credit

obligations". Yes, I had one 30 day late, which happens, but this is no reason to deny someone for a card, and as duly noted on my credit reports, I have only missed one payment, and have made over 23 on time payments. I feel that capital one has "black balled" me from getting a card, as people who have credit situations (such as being 30k in debt) have received cards from them.Complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I am asking if Capital One cannot offer me credit, even if it's a $200 card, to remove all credit inquiries from all 3 credit reports. If Capital One cannot fulfil one of the mentioned obligations, I will be left no choice but to pursue litigation, as I have sufficient evidence they are "Black baling" me.

Whoever replied to my complaint has horrible reading comprehension skills, as they only addressed 1/4th of the complaint. The main issue i,s that in the 4 years I've been able to apply for a credit card, my [redacted] score has been anywhere from 480 to 712.

Review: Dec 29/2014 I had over $ 4000.00 dollars of fraudulently charges put on my Capital One / [redacted] credit card within 50 minutes.

Under Canadian law a credit Card Company has to credit the card back the fraudulent charges within three months.

We are now going on four months and I continue to get pushed aside and lied too and still have not received the full credit for the fraudulent charges on my Capital One / [redacted] Credit Card.Complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I would like the credit to go to my Capital One [redacted] Card and a apology

Review: This company has violated me beyond any good business practice.

I had a very old capital one credit card account number as followed – [redacted] that was opened in 09/04/2008, and this account charged off many of years back and capital one choose to 1099c this account on 12/31/2014 against their company’s taxes and I received the 1099 c in the mail and disputed this trade line with [redacted] credit bureau in hopes capital one would do the right thing and report out the balance as zero like the credit bureau tells me that they are support do, after my dispute with [redacted] closed out on January the 23 2015,capital one refused to update the balance to 0 and I had to fax in the 1099 c to [redacted] to manually update this trade line. I want capital one to stop all credit reporting on this trade and I all be totally happy and consider this matter closed. Otherwise I will be filing a complaint with the consumer protection bureau and consulting an attorney for miss credit reporting and rung information received back from the [redacted] dispute I filed after this was 100 c and capital one still answered to keep the balance on my credit bureau, if capital one deletes this trade and if comes off the file anyways in 9 months will consider all claims closed.Desired Settlement: I wan capital one to delete this trade and never report again and ill walk away from this situation and condider this matter closed with no recoarse ever..

Review: Notified card issuer multiple times most recently on December 5, 2015 by facsimile and December 13, 2015 by phone regarding a disputed charge from [redacted] and I requested a credit to my account in the amount of the disputed charge $2,700.00 due to merchandise from transaction with [redacted] USA being returned and a refund to my prior CAPITAL ONE account ending in 1157 being due and owed from [redacted] .

Both my card issuer, CAPITAL ONE and [redacted] are aware that [redacted] completed the original $2,700 transaction as a split tender from my own personal account with CAPITAL ONE and an account that belongs to another third party for which I have no control or ownership. CAPITAL ONE was provided a sworn affidavit in which I attested that I received no refund, benefit or products from [redacted] #R106 TUKWILA WA 98118 USA in regards to the transaction in error and that a credit is due to me from [redacted] in the amount of $2,700.00.My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I would like for CAPITAL ONE, to credit the amount of the $2,700.00 disputed charge in addition to interest late fees and penalties occurring as a result of its failure to properly dispute and resolve [redacted] USA billing error on my behalf.

Review: I have been with Capital One for 1.5 years. I have their secured credit card and they gave a credit increase exactly one year from this month. I had attempted to do so myself and was denied because their product doesn't offer it and required a deposit to the account. At the beginning of this year, they discontinued the ability to add funds to your secured card. They still offer this type of account which does not allow a person to increase their line of credit until they are ready to do so. This program is a setup to me and many others that has come after me and continue to seek this company for a way to build credit. I have paid on time, paid more than minimum due and still can't get my credit increased or moved into a different product that offer better perks. I contacted them today and they still did nothing. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: Capital One needs to stop offering this product if they have no intentions on allowing the customer to build and increase credit with them. I would like to stay with them but to be moved from a different product that allows me to initiate credit increases. Or they need to allow the ability to make deposits or credit increases without regards to the type of product I have. I feel that me not being able to request credit increases is a discrimination based on the product I have with this company. I hope this ends in a favorable result for both sides. I belong to 2 financial groups on Facebook that would benefit from the practice of this company.

There was still no willingness to offer or move to a better product that offers me more especially since I am not able to make requests or deposits. They still offer a product to clients and a statement which seems to be false was made that they are reviewing the terms. That doesn't resolve what I was looking for so there was no willingness on their part to reach a mutual agreement.

Review: I recently pulled my credit report and notice late payments that are suppose to be on time payments. I request and was assured I had a deferment in place in July-Augus 2012. However since that date my accounts have been a month behind until I noticed it in Augus 2014 in which I tried to double payments to get the auto loan current. I'm furious that the agency didn't process this nor have any documentation of this account.Desired Settlement: removal of all late payments since july-august 2012

Review: Re: Unauthorized Credit Inquiries

Dear Capital One Auto-Finance,

I recently received a copy of my [redacted] credit report. The credit

report showed a credit inquiries by your company that I do not recall

authorizing. I understand that you shouldn't be allowed to put an

inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. Please have these

inquiries removed from my credit file because it is making it very

difficult for me to acquire credit.

I have sent this letter by the Revdex.com because I need your prompt

response to this issue. Please be so kind as to forward me

documentation that you have had the unauthorized inquiries removed.

If you find that I am remiss, and you did have my authorization to

inquire into my credit report then please send me proof of this.Desired Settlement: Please remove all hard credit inquires on all three credit reports.

Dear

I have reviewed the letter from Capital One in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that their proposed non action would not resolve this complaint.

We request removal of one of the two credit inquires from all 3 credit reporting agencies. Capital One Auto Finance: March 03, 2014 and March 07, 2014. Please remove one of the two as it is considered a duplicate request and all credit reporting agencies do agree one of the two should be removed and they request a letter from Capital One Auto Finance for removal of one of the two.

Thank you for your time and cooperation in this most important business matter.

Warmest Regards,

Review: I have been had a credit card with capital one since 2003. I am very satisfied with the company and the service. However recently I notice interest charges were being taken out of the payments I was making which reduce the amount left on the card. As stated I have been with capital one since 2003. These charges are new. I called the 1 800 number and talked to the representative for capital one. First I talked with the fist rep and explained the situation why I was being charged interest on top of the minimum amount of payment. These charges just recently started last month. After taking to the rep for about 20 mins he past me on to someone else who he said he could help me. But once the second person got on the phone and I explained why was I being charged interest when I made the minimum payment that included the interest. basically I am being charged interest twice. This rep told me that the interest has always been taken off the card on top of the interest I paid. basically leaving no balance on the care. The rep told me it was my fault and offer absolutely no help.My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: refund the second interest charge for two months.
