To Washington State Revdex.com Complaint December From [redacted] * [redacted] Subject: I believe I am a victim of Fraud and Retaliation On 11/30/I entered a store named “Car TOYS” to purchased a car entertainment system and have it installed by Car ToysA sales person by the named Phil (I did not ask his last name) helped me and I agreed upon a system and install for the price of $3,I agreed to pay halve then and other halve $1,after they do the install the next day on December, (SEE Attachments 1,2,3) I took the car in at 11am the next dayI picked the car up about 6pm after I was told the install was GOOD and ready for meI had the installer go with me to the car to show me how everything WORKEDThe in dash unit was incorrectly installedThe face plate could not operate in the selected positionsThe face plate continually locked in multiple positions I selectedThe installer said, “We do have this problem with the install kit he had to use”Them I obs

The customer has been given a refund for the product they bought

Had nee backup camera and head unit installed just got the car today and there are all scratches all over my hood and screw/fastner missing after the install was completed also dent in my car nowI have pictures before the install was done and those scratches and dents are not thereAlso they are deep and can tell they are new!!! I also have proof from the dealer I bought it fromI will not use my insurance and you pay they deductible! You will pay 100% of all repairs and that is final or I will refund my dollars that I was charged!

To whom it may concern, After interviewing the employees at the Southcenter location, I have determined that the claims made by Mr [redacted] didn’t happen at the Southcenter location The last time Mr [redacted] visited our store we installed a light strip and a back-up camera After reviewing the security footage, the installer simply installed the camera and the lights as requested We installed the box for the lights under the dash according to installation standards The customer provided his own camera and we installed it as requested We offered to sell the customer a camera; he chose to purchase his own We had no reason to do any harm the customer’s car once he left the store We have no problem discussing this with the shop that stated that this has happened in the past At this time we don’t feel we should be held responsible for replacing the head light We completed the work we were contracted to do without malice towards Mr [redacted] Argola R [redacted] Regional Manager - SWA Car Toys

I own a Brand New Honda [redacted] *** It is only year old and I bought it with only miles off the showroom floor at [redacted] at my BD gift to myself on Dec [redacted] I have had Car Toys perform various installs with only one issue with the Fenton branch! Now that I live in Irving, I’ve been taking my car to that branch for Customization work A week ago, I’d gone to the Irving branch to add a 2nd set of Illuminated cup holders for my rear seats, and to find a solution to my battery being drainedThey offered to create a 2nd battery setup with an isolator System, at a price of $1,for both ($was for the cup holder project)The cup holder project worked perfectly but after letting my car sit for 2-days turned up with my having to jump start the primary battery which Car Toys of Irving said would no longer be drawing more than amps of current allowing it to always have enough pier to start my car no matter how king I let it sitA realistic

Hello Mr***, Car Toys stands, behind our installation, work and would gladly repair any damage to a vehicle that one of our installation techs caused However, after a thoroughly investigating this matter (reviewed video footage, and having another shop get a second opinion, etc.), the damage was not caused while work was being completed by Car Toys I understand your frustration and that you sincerely believe that we caused the damage, nevertheless we will not admit fault for damage that was not caused by Car Toy Regards, Don L [redacted] | [redacted] Manager

I went in to get a Bluetooth device that I previously purchased installed in my vehicleI was quoted a price for labor of $125, based on them telling me they would have to actually go behind my radio in order to install the deviceWhen I came back to pick up my vehicle I paid a total of $which included taxes etcMy vehicle would not start when I attempted to leave the storeThe guys that were there treated me like it was not there problem or fault that it would not startit was discovered after I begin asking questions the guy that did the work actually left things running on my car for an extended period time which caused my battery to diei also found out that the Bluetooth part was not placed behind my radio as I was advised with my quoteThe guy simply attached it to wires in my trunk which was not what I paid for nor quoted for This company took full advantage of me financially and used deceptive tactics by making me pay for something that they did not dueI should h

My car was there over one monthI was told it was fixed and fine multiple timesI paid for transportation there five times when my vehicle was not fixed and fineWowI had a good experience with Car Toys downtown Seattle about years agoThis bad experience was in May in North Seattle, 128th AuroraNo call backsNo communication about what was done/needed to be done No one knew anythingMy keys handed over with no paperwork and no demonstrations of new equipment'Take off and if you have a problem come back.' Too many take backs

Bait and switch speaker installI was quoted one price while shopping then raised $when I arrived install speakersArgued for a few minutes and they lowered it $but lack of integrity and shoddy workmanship will prevent me from going backDoor panels are lose and a speaker wire in the door is not secured and vibrating during moderate volumeBuy the tools and install guide from [redacted] and do it yourself

The Customer came into the store on 1/ We agreed to settle it with a refund and that he would not look for any other compensation for the scratch He signed a release of liability form and it has been documented by RM Customer is happy and not further action required

Mr [redacted] ,First, I'd like to apologize for the issues you've had regarding our extended service outside the Car Toys area Obviously, this wasn't the intent when we offered you the plan I'll explain a few things that should clarify the problems you're having, and what we'll be doing to take care of you.When we offer our extended service to customers, we offer it as a "system" warranty A system to us is all components, harnesses, cabling, etcthat we sell on that invoice Unfortunately, [redacted] (the warranty company) has a different definition, and only covers what they consider "car audio product"...things like CD receivers, navigation, speakers, amplifiers, etc To ***, the Bluetooth module ais an accessory which is why they aren't authorizing the fix on that or the microphone When [redacted] denies certain aspects of a warranty claim, that's where we as Car Toys step in and take care of the issue, as you DID purchase a "system" warranty from us 98% of the time, those customers are near a Car Toys and we can resolve that issue immediately Why this wasn't conveyed to you in Colorado I cannot answer, unfortunately.I've spoken with the assistant manager in Silverdale, Gabriel W***, and let him know your current situation I've given him your information, and would like you to contact him @ ( [redacted] He works Friday-Tuesday, usually from 9am to 5pm He'll need any copies of receipts that weren't reimbursed by [redacted] so we can get those resolved, and I've already had a new [redacted] sent to the Silverdale location so that we can ship it out to you as a replacement for your defective module/microphone If there are any other issues regarding the system sold, he is more than capable and empowered to handle those accordingly.If you have any further questions/concerns, feel free to reach out to me personally regarding this and I'll help in any way I can.Thank you for your timeZachary W [redacted] Regional Administrator – SWA Car Toys [redacted] @cartoys.com

12/26/had remote start installedSince then starters have been blown thru and put into my vehicleRight away within weeks the first starter blewI submitted all the documents and receipts to this companyThey say there is nothing they can doManager won’t return my calls or pic up when I callThey gave me a number to call with only options I left a message and no responseAs well as no one I can speak to aboveIt is now the middle of July and they still are avoiding the faulty product that is destroying my car and I cannot use because it will destroy another starterI have mechanic notes that concurMy car has been towed times over thisI am getting no where

Purchased a stereo on 1/28/at the Greeley, CoCar ToysSince installation my back speakers have blown right after actually when my volume was not even turned up highI called them and car toys advised I come back and spend more money on front speakers because that would fix itNow my car stereo wont even turn onSo I one dont know if it actually fixed the sound to my back speakers or if they are actually blown, two if my entire purchase and install was just poorly doneAnd not to mention all the gas and time wasted when its an hour one way to this locationI even tried to talk to another location because customer service at the Greeley location was lacking but they advised this was the location that needed to fix it unfortunately for me

To whom it may concern, I contact Ms [redacted] by phone on Feb 1st to discuss the situationThe radio was powering on, but there wasn’t any output of sound I asked Ms [redacted] what day would work best to set up an appointment to address all the issues at handShe came in on Thursday Feb 2nd to get her vehicle and product checked outTony the store’s Installation Manager took responsibility of looking over the vehicle and verifying the issues were cause from our previous installation He was able to verify that the installation of speakers and radio were up to standard, but the new radio had no sound being output We upgraded the radio to one with Bluetooth at no charge to Ms [redacted] as a customer service Tony tested the vehicle further after the install and no issue from there could be found This was a product related issue from the start This could have possibly happened when the front factory speakers went bad and could have caused the new radio to go bad as well Regardless, we made sure to be ready for the customer on her return to the store to make sure we could provide immediate customer service and fixed her issues I have verified with the customer about her experience and she praised Andrew M [redacted] for his service and willingness to help I have also verified on 2/4/with Ms [redacted] that everything is still in working order and that she knows to contact us first if there are any further issues and we will take care of it promptly Jason J [redacted] COL Regional Manager Car Toys, Inc
