To whom it may concern, There seems to be discrepancies in what was reported and what actually took place in the storeI spoke to the named individuals and they denied we agreed that we had damaged Ms [redacted] vehicle Please know that any damage we caused to Ms [redacted] vehicle will gladly be fixed by Car Toys or at the dealership at no expense to the customerAt this time we are reserving the right to not do a full refund however; we are willing to fix the car to the customer’s expectationsWe agreed to order and install the OEM parts for the purposes of getting the vehicle to the point of operation that meets Ms [redacted] expectationsThe parts have been ordered and received in at our store and are on sight and currently waiting for Ms [redacted] to schedule an appointment for installationIf Ms [redacted] no longer wants to work with the Tacoma location we can arrange for the install to be done at a different Car Toys of Ms [redacted] choosing

I was blatantly lied to by the sales associate regarding the leasing contract I would be signingI was told, explicitly, that I would be signing a month lease to pay of a stereoI confirmed this multiple times with the sales associate multiple times before signing everythingI was told that I did not qualify for the month lease and I could only do a month leaseWhat I ended up signing was a month lease with a day payment option, quite different from what I was told I would be signing

To whom it may concern, The regional manager, Jason J [redacted] , spoke with [redacted] on Friday 9/2/about his Progressive Lease agreement The customer understood that he was to pay off this lease in days to not have any more additional payments due to Progressive from his total amount of $ The sales associate did tell Mr [redacted] this multiple times to give a clear understanding that there would be no added interest or payments if the total amount was paid off in days, which was what was agreed to be paid by the customer If the lease was not paid off in day time frame the payments can extend up to a maximum of a year, but the customer has options to pay off earlier than a year Mr [redacted] had to read and sign an agreement with Progressive that states the terms of the lease with the frequency of payments, amounts, day pay off, and maximum time of the lease Mr [redacted] acknowledged receiving a follow up email from Progressive that again lists out the payment plan and all pay off options The customer is now heading into his day limit to pay off the lease and expressed he does not have the funds to pay off the lease in full Progressive has offered to extend the lease for another days longer to help the customer come up with the funds to pay off his lease without penalty of extra payments Mr [redacted] has been offered multiple pay off options with Progressive and does not have to go the maximum of the yearThe sales associate never “lied” about the day terms and the customer understood there would be penalties if the purchase was not paid off within days, but is not looking for some out on the penalties The customer has written in the complaint that he understood he needed to pay off the lease within days, but as of now failed to do so The product and services were satisfactory to Mr***Products and services are not eligible for return after days Best Regards, Jason J [redacted] SWA Regional Manager Car Toys, Inc

I had an Intoxalock installed in my carBesides taking a day longer than I was told, upon picking my car up there were razor blades in the car, all my car settings were changed, and my car showed miles less on the trip computerI also noticed multiple scratches on my front side windows tintThe manager completely denies any wrongdoing

Complaint I had a remote start installed in my Tundra Invoice # [redacted] on Tuesday 06/19/I recently purchased the vehicle on 06/17/only a few days earlier in which we made a full walk through of the interior and exterior of the truckI dropped the truck off at 4pm on the 19th and picked it up at 7:pmOnce I drove away I pulled into a Orielly’s auto parts store and noticed that My truck had New damage to the from passenger side bumperI called the store and returned to discuss the matter with the manager on duty DanielWe went over the video footage Which unfortunately does not show the Vehicle actually entering the Garage doors, You are not able to tell whether the driver at the time went through without hitting the side wall After taking pictures I decided to speak with Brice the store manager the next dayHe said they would submit a claim and respond back in a few daysI was then contact and told that the claim was denied because the camera does not show the truck entering the garage doorWhich is no fault of mine, My pictures were not asked for in any way – they show the damaged to my bumper and damage with Silver paint on the wall on the entranceAlso the damage to the wall is the exact same height of my Bumper which happens to be a Lifted truckI was just told there is nothing we can do and that would be the end of the matter In my view was clearly done by the employee since I only drove that truck times before taking it to The storeI called there director Chris , He said he was busy and would call me back - Never called back --- Very unproffesional and I will not be using their sevices again

So they say the power of social media can make a difference when dealing with a less than reputable businessI don't know if that's true but, I certainly think we should inform our friends and relatives when we come across a business that doesn't provide a service that they claim they can or will provideSo with that in mind, here's my experience with a business called Car Toys Roughly weeks ago I purchased a new Pioneer navigation stereo system along with new speakers in front and back as well as an amplifier at the Puyallup Car ToysI also included SiriusXM satellite radioTotal cost with installation...$3,I pick up my car after it's all installed and get a mile or so down the road and attempt to tune the SiriusXMnothingI mean, there's no SiriusXM to tune to because they didn't install it! I call them and they gave me some BS excuse about it being delivered after I picked up my car and I can bring it in the next day to have it installedThe reality is, they just forgot to install it! So the next day I get the SiriusXM installed and leave and can't get a full minutes worth of listening without it constantly cutting out! I call Car Toys back and they said I can bring it back in the next day and they will figure out what's going onI bring it in and they said the GPS antenna was not getting a proper signal so, they would have to relocate itCuz I guess they don't check the signal quality after they install it, they just hope for the best and wait for you to call if it's not good A few days later, I notice that my right, front speaker keeps cutting outI call again and they said to bring it in and they would figure it outWell, appointments later the problem still hadn't been corrected! So I decided to take it to a DIFFERENT Car Toys (Tacoma Mall Blvd) thinking, maybe fresh minds could figure it out! I bring it in and they do whatever they do and, for roughly days, no problemThen suddenly, it's doing it again! Same exact problem with the same speaker! I call again and, again they said bring it in and we'll try to figure it out This brings me to this past TuesdayI drop my car off at 9am, get it back at 7pmThe technician who worked on my car had left by the time I picked it upThe guy at the counter can't tell me what was done but said call back tomorrow morning and the technician would be inI get into my car and, the $3,sound system sounds like CRAP! I have half the output I once had and barely any base! I call back the next morning and speak to the technician and tell him what I heard explaining that, before I could put my volume at and it was loud and clear and sounded great until the speaker started cutting out! But now I have to turn it up to to get to the same level of volume and the stereo tops out at 40! He says, " well the volume number is just a number, it doesn't really mean anything" ?????????? What??? I told him regardless, it sounds like crap! He said maybe it needs to be tuned and the "gain" adjustedApparently that professional Car Toys technician couldn't hear that for himself before releasing the car back to me! So now they want me to come in on Friday afternoon to have them "retuned" the stereoI still don't know if the speaker issue is resolved because it seems like the adjustment made to the stereo tuning was done in an attempt to mask the problemI suspect when tuned properly, it will continue So I guess the 7th trip to Car Toys to have my $3,stereo system sounding right will be my last! If it's not right after attempts, it's time to look into my legal options! My recommendation, stay far, far away from Car Toys!!!!!!!

To whom it may concern, Mr [redacted] understood that he was to pay off total amount of $in days to avoid any additional payments owed to Progressive It clearly states in the customer’s complaint that he was aware there was a day payment option, it “looks promising”, and that is why he came back to make his purchaseThe sales associate did discuss the terms of the agreement to Mr [redacted] multiple times to provide a clear understanding that there would be no additional interest or payments if the total amount was paid in full within days, which Mr [redacted] did agreed to If the lease was not paid off within the day time frame the payments can extend up to a maximum of a year, but the customer has options to pay off in days and not be charged any interest, which Mr [redacted] also agreed to Mr [redacted] had to read and sign a digital agreement with Progressive that states the terms of the lease with the frequency of payments, amounts, day pay off, and maximum time of the lease Mr [redacted] was also sent a follow up email to the email address he provided to Progressive during his application processThis again lists the terms of the payment plan and all pay off options (days, months, or the full year) Mr [redacted] unfortunately was unsuccessful in paying off his purchase in the days he originally intended and is now being charged interest as part of the program he agreed to Mr [redacted] has been offered multiple payment options with Progressive and does not have to go the maximum of the year which would charge him the maximum amountThe sales associate never “lied” about the day terms and the customer understood there would be penalties if the purchase was not paid in full within the days allotted The customer was also not being truthful about his experience at the Lynnwood location in reference to the complaint he made to the managerI myself witnessed the entire interaction and the Store Manager never laughed at himThe Store Manager in a very thorough and professional manor explain to Mr [redacted] that the products were not refundableThe customer acknowledges in his written complaint that he understood he needed to pay off the lease within daysUnfortunately was unsuccessful in doing so, and now wants to get out of the penalties applied under the terms of the agreementBased on our published return policy our products and services are not eligible for return after days Best Regards, Don L [redacted] WAS Regional ManagerCar Toys, Inc

To whom it may concern,I spoke with [redacted] on Wednesday the 5thWe installed a radio in Mr [redacted] ’s Lexus and the vehicle was fully functional afterwardsMr [redacted] later had his car in a shop for service where the battery was disconnected at some pointThis caused the radio that we installed to lose volumeWhen this happens you need the factory radio to reprogram the factory amplifier in the carOtherwise, you must replace the factory amplifier with an aftermarket amplifier Mr [redacted] initially came to Car Toys roughly five months ago due to his factory radio not functioning properlyWe replaced the factory radio with a new aftermarket head unit, but naturally Mr [redacted] since disposed of the malfunctioning factory radioI told Mr [redacted] that I would do further research for a possible alternative solution with different vendorsI was attempting to find Mr [redacted] a more cost effective route to replacing the factory amplifierI was able to successfully find three alternatives that we were going to try Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in for a service appointment on Saturday May 6th, where our Installation Technician Manager was able to successfully work through his system to resolve all issues involvedMr [redacted] is pleased with our service and grateful that his car is working properly and fully functional.Respectfully,Darrell N [redacted] FTX Regional Manager Car Toys, Inc

To whom it may concern, Our insurance company retained an independent appraiser who went to the Lexus dealership and inspected the vehicle The independent appraiser determined the ignition system and starter are functioning properly There were no signs the parts were damaged He did locate an error with the cruise control computer (ECU); however there was no indication this was due to any external sources There was no sign the unit was tampered with This unit is under the dash on the passenger side and our installer was only working on the driver side of the car The appraiser stated it was an internal failure based on age and wear; the vehicle is years old The Lexus dealership’s diagnostic of the vehicle matched the independent appraiser’s The only error noted was the ECU; they also found no sign of tampering and determined the failure was based on age and wear Our insurance company offered to pay the customer for the diagnostic test performed by the Lexus dealership The diagnostic bill amount was $ The customer declined the offer Thanks, Car Toys, Inc

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We have had so much trouble with the installation of this item in our car and they continue to deny that it has caused all the problems even with the dealership proving that the unit not only didn't work properly, but also ruined several parts in the car and also blocked those problems from being diagnosed until the unit was removed by car toys and then the critical errors were discovered every where they hooked this unit up to in the carCar Toys needs to accept responsibility for what has happened.Sincerely, [redacted]

Bought a new stereo for my car I wanted bluetooth calls, and back up camera Backup is great, sound is great, calls, not so much Calls to Cartoys to fix have so far been less than positive They also say I have to pay to uninstall the broken equipment So, last time with cartoys for me dollars should provide better customer service
