DO NOT make the mistake of working with Car ToysI spent over $on a Pioneer Apple Ready car radio two years agoIt recently started acting up so we took it in to C T to have it looked atI was told that it's a "bad" radio, basically a lemon and that there is nothing they can/will do about itIf I refused to stand behind my service/products, and treated customers in the same manner, I would not be in business very longI find it hard to believe that a company this big does not have the purchasing power muscle and voice to stand behind defective productsI will never do business with Car Toys again and will make sure to tell everyone in my sphere of influence not to either

I went to cartoys to get a better protection for my beloved pride and joy (my car)Less then a year prior I went to cartoys to research car alarms and they said that the alarm Clifford 3706x was the best one for the priceThey advertised it as it letting you know when someone hits or bumps your car letting you know on the way pager and also alarm sirens going offI was going on vacation for weeksUnaware and surprised that a big company of there will ever over advertise one of there products I thought it would be a good choice and I was going to have peace of mind that my vehicle would be protectedweek after getting the alarm my brother calls me and says athe alarm is not doing what it’s supposed to and that it keeps having alarms and going off at random timesIt eventually drained my battery causing my car not to startI called cartoys and explained what was going on and that I was out on vacationThey never told me there was a 30day time frame to return a product

I took my Audi to Car Toys to have an amplifier and speaker box professionally installed on January 21, These items were installed in the trunk of my car and during that installation a hole drilled into the truck floor also pierced the fuel tankDriving home after the install a strong fuel smell was present in the cab of the carA few days later the check engine light came onI took the car to a repair shop and the diagnostic code was Evaporative System leak caused from the hole that pierced the fuel tank, creating a dangerous and unsafe issue with the carThis issue was pinpointed after a week in the shop, extensive labor cost and a smoke test at the repair shop, resulting in a bill over $I contacted Car Toys last Friday the 19th to notify them what the repair shop had found and spoke to Tyler S [redacted] the assistant managerTyler asked if I had already had the car repaired and I told him I had just paid over $to diagnose the problem and that I had an estimate for th

I went to Car Toys in Olympia, WA on 1/17/I spent over $I spent hours waiting for all the work to be completed which put myself and another customer passed closing time 8pmAt 10:30pm, I was informed that my car was readyI was handed the keysI asked if anyone would be going over all the work that was completed with me (back up camera, auto start, navigation, and radio with android auto features)Brandon refused to go over any of the items with me once the car was ready telling me that he had already told me everything I needed to know while I was waiting for my carI told him that I just wanted to go through to make sure that everything was working and have him help me set up my phone to the new system (since it was controlled by the phone- android auto)He told me that he did not have time and that I should just sit on the couch for a week to teach myself by playing with the phoneI told him that I would if he would set up the phone to at least get me on the road since I lived hour southI went outside in the dark to atleast test my autostartIt did not come on so I told Brandon the autostart did not workHe tested it on the main remote (of the remotes provided) and it came onI acknowledged my error as I had pushed the wrong button which he then reprimanded me about pushing the wrong button So I tested the other remote and it did not workI told him the second remote did not workSo impatiently he tested the second remote and said he did not know why it did not work and that I would need to come back tomorrow for them to fix itI told him that they should atleast make sure all the services I paid for worked before I leftDanny heard me talking and said he would test the remote that was not workingBrandon proceeded to tell him that if he could not fix it quickly to not work on it and that I would have to come backDanny was able to fix that autostart remote quicklyI then tested the locking of the doors with the remote and it did not work as promisedBrandon already frustrated with me said that I would have to set an appointment to come back and that they were booked up for the next days and that the earliest they could have me come back was on Sunday, days awayI made the follow up appointment and went back to my car feeling like an it for spending $here and about ready to cry as I couldn't get my android auto to work that turned on the navigation and radio featureAs Brandon walked out, I asked him one more time if he could help me get all set up to at least get on the roadHe got angry with me when I couldn't remember the "OK [redacted] " commandI got another unprofessional reprimandHe told me that he didn't get paid to help me after 8pmI asked him if customer service ended at 8pm and his response was "basically" and leftI sat in the parking lot trying to figure out how to get my new android auto feature to activate when Danny returned to help me when he noticed everyone had left the parking lot, but meDanny patiently helped me get my android auto set up so that I could leaveThank you DannyI will cancel my Sunday appointment that I made with Brandon to get my remotes fixed for locking the doors and will go somewhere else since he does not see the value of a return customer

This company sold me a device that have plenty of known issues and when I came to the conclusion that I did not want the device because of all the problem I'm having. The assist manager was very rude. So to sum it all up I ended up having to pay 175 for a a device that didn't work and poor customer servi

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:So I dont want car toys to install these OEM partsThey ammitted to damaging my car and a full refund of the parts that the put inBut they are only giving me the option of the OEM parts and I have a witness to when they said thisThey have done nothing but scamed meI have a diagnostic done for the starter saying it was because of the after market partThe company wont even look at my car and they just belive what their workers said ensted of investagating it and not even seeing thae damge they caused(obvious) doors dont look and door hinges and locks coming out!!! I’ve been over and over with these guys, but they only want to clear their incompetence by faulting the supplier of the primary batteryThey don’t even know that what they did was re-route the key-fob accessory to the 2nd battey, This making it impossible for anyone to enter the vehicle via its matter of just having the key fob “within range” of the car! As as I kept trying to tell them that this is what the new problem is - they only want to talk about current drawAny technician would’ve looked at all possible variables as to what was taking placeInstead, Car Toys of Irving chose to close their minds and tell me to replace the primary battery Just sonwe we are all clear, I know much about electronics and car CustomizationIF WE WERE TO PUT IN A HIGHER CAPACITIVE BATTERY - MY PROBLEM WOULD “STILL” BE THERE! - Becasue it isn’t about the primary battery - it’s about how Car Toys of Irving “refusing” to properly troubleshoot the Car in ways ORHER THWN putting a “meter” to the battery and taking measurements, instead of recreating or listening to what exactly the car is not doing as a result of their improperly re-wiring My Car so that the key fob function NOW goes dead when the 2nd battery they wired that accessory to - goes dead.Finally, the manager who sold me the primary battery WAS ABLE to figure this out and is willing and waiting to correct what mistakes Car Toys of Irving didThey were unwilling to do anything when I took it back (even not providing to me proof of bringing it back!), so I need to have the money refined so that a quality shop can fix what Car Toys of Irving messed up further than when I initially came to them for a solution to my issueThe “consumer is always right” - but Car atoys of Irving won’t even listen to their customersI called this a ‘self righteous mentality’ - I’m only interested in justice, FairPlay and proper customer serviceCar Toys of Irving is only interested in saving their ***, and protecting their employee’s even when they’re all wrong Sincerely, [redacted]

Completely fabricated to cover their sub par failed install the vehicle interior is disassembled because the car is undergoing restoration as its being gifted to my neice for her 16th birthday The interior was removed when I repleced the convertible top, carpet and removed the dashboard to full replaced the a/c system leaving no old factory parts behindThis is the 4th mustang I have restored and do so as a hobbyThe vehicle was purchased non running and has received a new engine and transmission both rebuilt by myselfA simple stereo install is beneath my abilities and clearly above Cartoys employees abilitiesThey were given explicit instructions to complete the install and where components were to be located, they failed to even consoder these agreed upon conditionsThe car received a clear checklist of no interior damage on delivery and was returned with interior damage to my driver side A pillar cover and ripped shifter bootThey refused to refund the fees paid for a headunit install when the vehicle was returned to me with no installed headunit and no connected wiring The satellite tuner was not connected to the headunit, the satellite antenna was permanently affixed to the trunk lid off center and must be removed and replaced as the one time use adhesive is now unusable Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted]
