I attended school for Engineering. After completion of my Associates, I've wanted to shop for another school to complete my Bachelor's. The institution that I attended notified me that they were using Parchment Inc. to assist in distribution of transcripts. I submitted a request for mine and was quickly notified that the services were not free. I went ahead and submitted an order plus selected the option for expedited delivery via email. As with every one of the registered complaints on Revdex.com have noted, they offered timely services within a few business days. It has been nearly a month since my request was made and order paid for without delivery. (Order placed 09/09/2016, it is currently 10/06/2016)

I was only issued a partial refund for one of the transcripts that I requested. Neither of the 2 transcripts that I requested arrived at their destination. And I do not want Parchment to contact the school! I have already taken care of getting both transcripts myself after waiting 2 weeks! Please refund the rest of my money.

Jan. 8th, 2016 at 11:06AM MST3) A student support solution to Mrs. [redacted] was offered via an email response 21 minutes later to Ms. [redacted]'s email address of [email protected] on Jan. 8th, 216 at 11:27AM MST.4) The following was included in this student support response on Jan. 8th, 2016 at 11:27AM MST:Your order number [redacted] shows that it has been placed on Hold by your school. Your other order, [redacted] shows that it is Pending action by your school. If you wish one of the orders to be cancelled and refunded to you, please reply and let us know which one. If you wish both of the orders to be cancelled and refunded, please reply and let us know.5) We sent an automated email follow up response to [email protected] on Jan 9th, 2016 at 11:30AM MST advising we did not receive a response back from her.6) We sent a second automated email follow up response to [email protected] on Jan. 10, 2016 at 11:30AM MST advising we were closing the ticket as we did not receive a response.7) As we did not hear back from the student, we did not address the duplicate order since we did not have a confirmation to cancel it, as we requested.8) Since this ticket was created, one of the student's orders was delivered to [redacted]9) The second order, [redacted] is on Hold as placed by [redacted] and we are happy to cancel this second order and issue a refund for it if we get a confirmation from the student. I strongly urge any and all universities not to utilize parchment for their transcript delivery services.
I have had numerous e-mail exchanges with them during which they fail to address the problems they have created, and when they do not know how to do so, they simply mark the complaint as "solved" and cut off communications. I am left, therefore, with lacking information in my graduate applications that is impeding my acceptance to graduate education. Parchment's mistakes have true consequences in my life, and they are absolutely failing to listen.
Horrible customer service. This is by far the WORST organization I have had to conduct business with.

The college I graduated from uses parchment.com to send out college transcripts.

Parchment.com is the most unorganized, frustrating website I've ever used in all my years of computer expertise (I'm a software engineer).

I ordered a transcript, they said it would be sent in 5-7 business days; I waited 9 business days, it didn't come. I told them to resend it, same thing, it STILL didn't come. Then I payed them the $30 overnight fee out of desperation because my school would only send it through them.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say they ran me around in a circle for 3 weeks just so I would fork over $30 for the overnight shipping.

The biggest peeve of all I have with them is that the only way to contact them is by automated ticketing system. They have no phone number, they have no e-mail. As far as anyone would know, the company doesn't even exist. Very shady.

I had Parchment charge me twice. According to my bank, the first charges dropped, but I never got the first charge back. And there is no customer support number and online communication is not considered legal in courts of law. Bottom line, they charge you twice for their services with no way of ever getting the first charge returned. It is a complete scam and I would suggest that you call the college registrar to get them sent. This is a freaking joke.

It appears that this issue may have already been resolved and a refund has been issued from support ticket 74348 on 7/28. I have attached a screenshot of the refund that has been issued today.

There is no method of contacting this company. They failed to send my transcript for graduate school, in which it will be delaying my admittance to my program. There is no one to contact with this problem. Their Ticket method of dealing with complaints is nonsensical.

mid-year transcripts would  be available. The school has not yet provided us with the transcript data for these transcript requests. I am aware of the incident that Mr. [redacted] has submitted to you, he also had submitted it to me previously on 2/5/2015, with a follow up from him on 2/8/2015 starting the following "Is your not responding to my email your way of handling this? " 
1. I started the  investigation of  his complaint Immediately upon my arrival too work, as follows
2.When he checked in ,
3.When he was seated
4.Who was his server
5.Who Broiled the steaks
6.who was the last person to expedite his order 
7.Finally did the server check back withe the Guests
Not being to respond to him that weekend I was going to reach out to him that Monday the 9th, but He reached out to me on Sunday Morning was again making the statement  "Is your not responding to my email your way of handling this? "
I needed to be prepared to answer his complaint to assure him the following.
1. Allen Bros. is Our Purveyor, a very reputable one who provides and tracks every single Steak that we purchase from them.
2. I will never sell anything to our guests that is not valid, Our integrity is number one here at Carnevor.
3. Mr. [redacted] did not complain about mis-preparation steaks or anything that would be in our control or conveyed as mis-service of any form he didn't even address the situation when the server checked back to the table.
4. I have no problem whats so ever compensating a Displeased Guest when it is a valid reason
But to be accused of or Integrity towards our Guest is simply untrue and in my Opinion did not merit a response, or any admittance of any wrong doing,as Mr. [redacted] has implicated us . 
We pride ourselves on delivering the best service and the Highest quality of Product in Milwaukee and challenge any the would state otherwise, I truly took insult to Mr. [redacted]s comments and his way of handling this matter.In my opinion judging from his Desired Settlement of (2) Steak dinners as opposed to a refund for his 1 rib eye steak purchase he is clearly looking to get as much as he can and has probably attempted to do the same to others Restaurants.

Parchment took my money, ignored my email inquiries, & over 2 months later no transcripts ever arrived. This company should be put out of business. They DO NOT deliver, they only take your money & ignore you when you contact them for help & resolution. Hopefully someday a class action lawsuit will be filed against Parchment for stealing people's money & ignoring emails when they don't deliver what they charge you for. This company is NOT to be trusted when ordering school transcripts.

Ms. [redacted] contacted us on 8/24/2015 via email to advise that she had attempted to place an order, however she had not received a confirmation that her order was successfully received. After researching this matter further, we reached back out to Ms. [redacted] on 8/27/2015 via email to inform her that...

we had reviewed her account, but unfortunately the order that she attempted to place was not successfully received. We advised Ms. [redacted] that if the ordering process times out before the order is completed then a pending authorization charge may have gone out. However, since her order was not successfully captured we informed her that no payment was collected and that the pre authorization would drop off her credit card within 3-10 business days (time frame is dependent on her financial institution). If the pre authorization did not fall off, she will want to contact her financial institution directly for further assistance with this matter. The student was also advised that if the document was still needed, a new request would need to be placed. Student was never instructed by our representative to send a title four and/or letter stating the balance was paid nor was she directed to contact any other company other than her financial institution.

response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer are attached below.I feel that they have lost my records that have been submitted to them by the state of Mississippi they have not tried to resolve the issue by looking further into it. I am giving them more time and placed another order as per their request. I contacted them and advise him the information may be put into an incorrect state such as Missouri Massachusetts etc.ask them to look into it further. Also advised that someone may have made an error in spelling my name. Shortly thereafter they sent me another email stating that they could not locate my information based on the information provided. .. I do not feel like they are giving ample time to successfully search for my GEDRegards,[redacted]
