I noticed my sump pump wasn't working, and called Carney since I have a maintenance agreement with them on my HVAC They were able to send Kevin out in just a couple of hours He diagnosed the problem and recommended replacing the pump I got a discount through the maintenance agreement Kevin was polite, professional and personable, and cleaned up after the job, even taking the old equipment with him and leaving me with a flood alarm at no charge Great experience and I will call them for future plumbing issues

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Rather than stoop to [redacted] 's level and say that I will not call names or denigrate him and then doing so later in the response, I will choose to take the high road Fact of the matter is that multiple claims of "Up Front Pricing" are simply not trueThat would indicate one can get the pricing information BEFORE paying anything That is not how this company works regardless of what they say There was a $charge to come out and look at it and then and ONLY then will they quote you a price That price is in ADDITION to the repair To say that one can decide to not use them is a fallacy Why would someone pay $to simply say, I'm sorry, you're too expensive That doesn't make sense and they know it That is why they do not give you the pricing information EVEN WHEN ASKED DIRECTLY for it prior to agreeing to the $fee I understand that they have no way to diagnose over the phone What they can and SHOULD do is when a person calls in and says, the problem is this, assuming that turns out to be the case what are we looking at cost wise? I did this and was not given a price I have called a few times just to see as well and they refuse to give this information When challenged about this, [redacted] had no answer other than "we just don't do that" If that is the case, the claim of upfront pricing is a farceTo allege this was a pre thought out scam is incorrect at best and slanderous This is how they choose to treat customers? What kind of a business operator does that? Not a very good one and certainly not one that cares about their customers nor has a shred of integrity That is the crux of this issue Integrity I believe that we were falsely charged for a repair that only took minutes Even lawyers do not make $600/hr It is not our fault that [redacted] does not properly equip their technicians to allow them to operate the shut off at the curb like every other repair service does I should not be forced to, as [redacted] phrased it "Pay for that tech to be there." That is his problem and cost, not mine The problem was a simple replacement of a valve that took less than $in parts and was very easily accessible That is no way shape or form justifies $worth of charges That amount is immoral and outrageous I am not sure how someone can look themselves in the mirror and sleep well at night after figuratively raping people like that In checking out [redacted] , [redacted] ***, and the Revdex.com, it appears that I am NOT the only person who has had this experience It seems that this a common thread amongst the complaints I find it interesting that they are choosing to not respond to the review given to them on [redacted] *** Only the Revdex.com who has the ability to sanction is the one they care about I wonder why that is??? At this point I am still willing to pay for FAIR pricing For an hours worth of work, on a holiday weekend, $is a fair amount I feel That is inline with industry standards and the RIGHT thing to do I am willing to close out this dispute and take down all negative reviews for a refund of $ At this point, I am sure the amount of damage that is being done by having those reviews out there FAR exceeds the $I am asking for I hope that they choose to do the right thing Regards, [redacted] ***

We had a broken exterior sewer pipe that Carney Plumbing Heating and Cooling fixed in a timely, professional and cost effective manner We are very pleased with their service and highly recommend them

Kevin Lwith Carney came to our home this past Monday afternoon to provide an assessment of the condition of our hot water heater and also provide a quote for service Before Kevin Ldeparted he had provided the quote, replaced the water heater and reviewed his work with my wife and I Kevin Lwas prompt, courteous and considerate Kevin Lrepresented himself and Carney in a very positive manner

Matt C responded to a call regarding a sewer stoppage at our home He was especially personable and professional The problem was diagnosed and repaired in a very timely fashion

They came within mins and fixed the heat pump

Bill Kfrom Carney Plumbing Heating and Cooling just fixed my exterior hose faucet and rebuilt my kitchen faucet He showed up on time, wore shoe covers every time he came in and out of the house, and was very professional and courteous He took the time to explain everything to me and even showed me how to winterize my exterior spigots so the lines wouldn't freeze I have used Carney for several plumbing and HVAC issues and have always been very impressed

We have been using Carney for our water and plumbing services since we purchased our home We are extremely happy with the company and have had great experiences with both service pros that came to our house They are very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient
