I have utilized the "whole home plumbing inspection" that is part of the Carney Care Club Membership and feel confident that I am keeping my home's plumbing in good repair and up-to-date. The service technician, Matt C, arrived on-time and at the beginning of the stated window. He was courteous, polite, efficient, and professionally explained the inspection process and the recommendations he made. I am very satisfied and look forward to having several small projects completed.

My 86 year-old Mother had a serious sewer back-up at her house that could have required her moving out until it was fixed. When we called Carney, they assured us they would get someone assigned right away. Matt C[redacted] was professional and courteous. The problem was not easily fixed and turned out to be a township issue. Matt stayed until all steps had been taken to keep Mom safe. We know he worked long hours that day and really appreciate his efforts. The Carney office team, Bob B[redacted] and Holly R[redacted], also provided great service for our family. Thanks to all!

Keith was very courteous, respectful and knowledgeable service technician. He arrived on time, performed an extremely detailed maintenance check and kept everything very clean in the area he was working in. He is a definite asset to Carney Plumbing and Heating.

I had my annual furnace inspection done 1/7/2017. I was very pleased with the punctuality of Jason F. He was prompt, courteous and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Jason F. and Carney Plumbing and Heating. They have been a God send and I am very happy with my heating and cooling system that was installed in 2012.

We had a broken exterior sewer pipe that Carney Plumbing Heating and Cooling fixed in a timely, professional and cost effective manner. We are very pleased with their service and highly recommend them.

The Carney Service Representative, Jeremy H, was extremely professional and helpful with our plumbing problem. He check out possible alternative problems, and determined the correct solution. He then quickly and resolved the problem by going on the roof (not where I would have suspected a plumbing problem could be resolved), cleaning out the air vents and cleaning up everything. Wehave had no problems since the work was done.

I am rejecting this response because:Rather than stoop to [redacted]'s level and say that I will not call names or denigrate him and then doing so later in the response, I will choose to take the high road.  
Fact of the matter is that multiple claims of "Up Front Pricing" are simply not true. That would indicate one can get the pricing information BEFORE paying anything.  That is not how this company works regardless of what they say.  There was a $110 charge to come out and look at it and then and ONLY then will they quote you a price.  That price is in ADDITION to the repair.  To say that one can decide to not use them is a fallacy.  Why would someone pay $110 to simply say, I'm sorry, you're too expensive.  That doesn't make sense and they know it.  That is why they do not give you the pricing information EVEN WHEN ASKED DIRECTLY for it prior to agreeing to the $110 fee.  i understand that they have no way to diagnose over the phone.  What they can and SHOULD do is when a person calls in and says, the problem is this, assuming that turns out to be the case what are we looking at cost wise?  I did this and was not given a price.  I have called a few times just to see as well and they refuse to give this information.  When challenged about this, [redacted] had no answer other than "we just don't do that"  If that is the case, the claim of upfront pricing is a farce.
To allege this was a pre thought out scam is incorrect at best and slanderous.  This is how they choose to treat customers?  What kind of a business operator does that?  Not a very good one and certainly not one that cares about their customers nor has a shred of integrity.  
That is the crux of this issue.  Integrity.  I believe that we were falsely charged for a repair that only took 45 minutes.  Even lawyers do not make $600/hr.  It is not our fault that [redacted] does not properly equip their technicians to allow them to operate the shut off at the curb like every other repair service does.  I should not be forced to, as [redacted] phrased it "Pay for that tech to be there."  That is his problem and cost, not mine.  The problem was a simple replacement of a valve that took less than $20 in parts and was very easily accessible.  That is no way shape or form justifies $600 worth of charges.  That amount is immoral and outrageous.  I am not sure how someone can look themselves in the mirror and sleep well at night after figuratively raping people like that.  In checking out [redacted], and the Revdex.com, it appears that I am NOT the only person who has had this experience.  It seems that this a common thread amongst the complaints.  I find it interesting that they are choosing to not respond to the review given to them on [redacted].  Only the Revdex.com who has the ability to sanction is the one they care about.  I wonder why that is???
At this point I am still willing to pay for FAIR pricing.  For an hours worth of work, on a holiday weekend, $300 is a fair amount I feel.  That is inline with industry standards and the RIGHT thing to do.  I am willing to close out this dispute and take down all negative reviews for a refund of $300.  At this point, I am sure the amount of damage that is being done by having those reviews out there FAR exceeds the $300 I am asking for.  I hope that they choose to do the right thing.

Keith L was professional and very friendly. He was on time and performed a service check on my air conditioning unit. People like Keith make me glad I signed a service agreement with Carney.

We had a whole house plumbing inspection done. Jeremy was on time, professional, courteous, clean, and helpful. He made the necessary repairs and explained what he was doing. It was a positive plumbing experience.

Jeremy was very professional and competent. He did a great job.

Keith L. was a breath of fresh air. He was pleasant and thorough. He answered all of our questions.

Keith L. was on time and did a very good job on the heating system.

Both Kevin F. And Steve were very knowledgeable regarding my problem with the toilet leak, they were courteous, put on booties before entering our home and replaced our toilet very efficiently and in a timely manner. Extremely personable young men.

They came within 15 mins and fixed the heat pump

Carney sent out Kevin who worked very quickly with quality work. Was in and out in a very short amount of time.

Carney was out to our home in less than 2 hours of the initial call of our hot water heater not working. Jeremy gave us our options and we chose a new water heater. Jeremy did not get started on the new installation till after 4:30 and finished a couple hours later. He not only completed the job himself, he offered no complaints of staying after hours. I was very impressed by his professionalism and how he taught me to 'use' the new hot water heater. He was very patient with my questions. I give Jeremy a score of 10 out of 10! Thank you Jeremy!!

Great service, On time, Very professional.

Carney came today to perform routine, seasonal maintenance service on my system. As usual, the service professional was polite, friendly, knowledgeable & brought shoe covers to wear inside my home. I purchased the system from Carney & have been happy with every person I have encountered in the company. They are service oriented & professional & I highly recommend them.

I was impressed with the short time interval from my initial phone call to the arrival of the service pro. My call was on a very cold Saturday morning and was handled courteously and very timely. Kevin F., the service pro, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient in explaining things to me. I would highly recommend Kevin F. and Carney plumbing and heating.
