We have no record of any calls coming from the number listed in this complaint We also have no record of a consumer with this name and address in our system If Mr*** had contacted our company, we would have a file set up for him listed, take me off the mailing list.There are
dozens of companies that send out mail pieces advertising for extended vehicle service contracts He may have received mailers from several different companies If Mr*** can produce copies of the mailers he has received, we would be able to verify if they were sent on our behalf or sent by a different company The mailers sent on our behalf do NOT say that a consumer's factory warranty has expired, as we have no way of knowing if a consumer's warranty is expired or not.The administrators who we market for are all Revdex.com accredited and A+ rated They collectively paid over million dollars in covered repair bills for their customers.....just last year alone.We will create a file and remove Mr***'s contact information from our mailing list.We respectfully request that this complaint be closed as invalid, as we show no record of speaking with him

They will not refund me my money back that I paid for the warranty on my car they said they will not give it back because I wrote the wrong number of miles on my letter to them because I cancel my service with them can you please help me to get my money back all of it thank you

MsThomas' coverage has been cancelled, as requested, as of September 18, She has already received a credit of $back to her Visa as of 9/22/The remainder of her prorated refund will be mailed to her by United Car Care, the administrator of her coverage

Thank you for bringing this to our attention We have contacted your service contract administrator/obligor and reviewed this claim for you.According to the Administrator of your service contract, Interstate National Dealer Services; you had prior coverage on your Mini Cooper with them and
filed a claim on January 30, at 66,milesYour coverage had expired at 60,miles This claim was not authorized because the contract was expired by over 6,miles.You then purchased another service contract through CarShield on your Mini Cooper and stated the starting mileage was 66,Your mileage in January was reported at 66,This was also an Interstate Service ContractYou submitted a claim to Interstate in May of When the claim was called in it was reported that the vehicle had been in the shop for over months Interstate has denied this claim, as this failure occurred prior to the contract purchase date and was clearly pre existing

The coverage Mr*** purchased takes him to or 136,miles This is year coverage or up to 136,miles, well beyond his factory warranty This was explained during the sales call Mr*** also called into our office on September 2, to inquire about the
coverage he had purchased, compared to his factory warranty Our representative explained that the factory warranty was very good, but this coverage took him well beyond the factory coverage The representative offered Mr*** an additional discount as compensation for the years of factory coverage, which lowered his monthly payment Mr*** agreed to the discount revision and chose to keep the extended coverage at that time.His coverage is through United Car Care, a Revdex.com Accredited, A+ rated Service Contract Provider United Car Care has paid over million dollars in repair claims for their customers during the time they have been in business Definitely not a scam.If Mr*** would like to cancel his coverage, we will take care of that for him He will be canceled as of today's date and he will receive a full refund of his down payment of $150.00, credited back to his Visa Card ending in *** This credit should show to his Visa Card in 3-business days.Let us know if you need any additional information.Respectfully

listed as coveredShe needed a new headlight due to water in the lightHeadlights are a wear and tear item and are not coveredShe had a rusted camber bolt, rust and corrosion are not covered, she also had a dead battery in her TPMS sensorBatteries are not covered under this contract
Ms*** was told she would receive a prorated refund based on time and miles used
We consider this complaint resolved, as Ms*** has received and cashed the two refund checks she was dueThe cashed checks are attached

When I originally called to get the warranty I specifically asked if the camber bolt was covered and the agent assured me that it was and thats the only reason I did accept to take the warrantyThey claim to record all calls so maybe they should go to that call and see what I was promised and what I actually got from them witch was nothing but get my money takenWhen my dealer spoke to them they claimed that they didnt cover the part because of rustBut when I called and spoke to one of their representative she (***) had me go get other prices for the part that I needed becauae she claimed that the dealers charge too much and get over on peopleSo if its because of the rust that they didnt cover my claim why was I asked to get a second opinion? Thats because they are just thieves that stood with my money and never had intentions in covering anythingTheir story change every time I speak to themNow they claim I cant get the rest of my money because of mileageThis company should be ashamed in making promises that they cant keepThey really need to pull those call recording and listen to it!!! I payed a little over and received checks back one for my initial deposit of $and another for $So they keep almost all my money for doing what? Selling me lies?? Im so disappointed and disgusted on how they handle buisnessAnd yet with all the calls ive made to them not one supervisor would get on the phone with me because tbey are too busy so they claim!! Horrible customer service I would sayThey just hide behind the people under them!

When you purchase a product or service and give the company your name and address, chances are you are being added to one or more mailing lists used for direct marketing purposesThis is true when you buy a car or house, sign up for a credit
card, subscribe to a magazine, etcYour name address and other contact information, as well as the type of product or service purchased are then entered into a computer databaseThese lists can then be rented or shared with other businesses so they can send you advertising specifically fit to your purchasing habits
Sources of information can be, but are not limited to, insurance purchases, aftermarket parts purchases, transactional activities such as oil changes or tire purchases, etcTo my knowledge, automobile dealerships do NOT use customer information to sell or rent directing marketing lists
Our outside marketing company obtains lists from such data bases to compile a mailing list for our company and then distribute our advertising mail pieces to certain consumersWhen these lists are rented or purchased, they do not show where the information originated
All that being said, we have removed Mr*** from our mailing list and he should receive nothing further from our companyWe apologize for any inconvenience the receipt of these mail pieces has caused

We appreciate to opportunity to speak to Ms***'s concerns The mail piece is not misleading, in our opinion Just as Ms*** states, it offers extended service coverage on a consumers vehicle if their factory warranty has expired or is nearingexpiration We have no way of
knowing if the vehicle the consumer owns is leased or owned If a consumer has a leased vehicle or already has coverage on their vehicle, this mailed advertisement can simply be discarded.The administrators we market for are all Revdex.com Accredited and A+ rated Each administrator offers several levels of mechanical breakdown coverage based on that consumer's vehicle's specific make, model and mileage Over million dollars in covered repair claims were paid, just last year alone, by the administrators we market for.We have removed Ms*** from our mailing list She should not receive anything further from our company.We hope this addresses and resolves this concern Please let us know if you need any additional information

question was denied because Ms*** was still within her mile grace period.We have cancelled Ms***'s service contract as requested and she will receive a prorated refund of $504.34. We have waived the cancellation fee as a gesture of good will. $of that refund has been credited back to her *** Card ending in *** and the remainder of her refund will be send to her *** *** *** address. We are very sorry to hear that you are receiving so many calls. However, they are not from CarShield.There are many other marketing companies out there that do call consumers repeatedly, even when asked not to. There is another company called CarSure that may be the ones calling you. There is no way for us to know that other than we have had similar complaints that have turned out to be CarSure. We are not affiliated in any way with CarSure.There is nothing we can do to stop the phone calls when they are not coming from our company.
