Chapman Chevrolet Reviews (64)

My husband and I bought a 2011 chevy avalanch from chapman. When we left to go home with the vehicle the gas light came on as well as the tire pressure low light. I called the dealer the next day and was told to bring it back and they would fix everything. so they call to get me a rental. that they wanted me to pay for.I said I wasnt going to pay to drive a little chevy hhr. so they took me back and gave me the car back unfixeed. atleast [redacted] gave me 20$ out his pocket to get gas.Theproblems have continued till sept 16 they put 4 new good year tires on(still hadthe stickers on) finally something gets done right. Nope. They put tires on and did a allignment. I get to North Carolina and the steering feels weird. Go to a deealerhere and find out they left the tierods loose as well as the ball joints. So since the didnt give us a reciept we wernt the and they never put tires on.Im so rich I forget about 2000 dollar tires I put on my car in my sleep

Nov 2013 I called Chapman Chevrolet about getting out of My Silverado. I spoke to the Director of Finance and I explained to him that if I give them the information on my truck could they tell me if I could trade out of it. I was upside down and I didn't want them pulling my credit if they didn't think they couldn't get me out of my truck. The Director of Finance Guaranteed it wouldn't be an issue, to come down, at 6pm and ask for him personally which is what I did. The Director of Finance set me up with a Nice salesman and explained what I was trying to accomplish. I explained further that based off of the pay off I got from the company my truck was financed through, if they don't think they can trade me into a car, don't pull my credit. They said they could because of all the rebates they had, I was a [redacted] club member and I gave them 1800 down. I signed the paperwork, drove off the lot that Friday night in my New Car. They called me the following Monday afternoon telling me I needed to return back to the dealership to give the car back. I was so surprised, I thought the deal was done and I signed everything.
I went back and had to give the car back, so I did. I was so frustrated. Well Today 04/2014 I applied for a home loan and I knew what my credit was back in Nov. 2013... Not only did they drop my credit score 63 points but they pulled my credit 16 times. I went from having zero credit inquiries on my credit to having it submitted to 16 different banks because "They wanted to get the deal done" is what I was told when I spoke to them about the number of inquiries. Because of this situation, I DO NOT Qualify for a home loan. I was prepared to have them pull it once or twice AFTER they said they could get the deal done. BUT 16 TIMES???? What the heck?? I will never do business with this dealership ever ever ever again. I will tell everyone I know not to use them as well. Honesty is not their policy.

Review: I had a really bad experience with chapman chevrolet. I went in on Sunday February 16 to try and buy a truck. They ran my credit and told me they can offer me a 10% interest on payments of $317. I accepted thinking it was a good deal. I signed some papers and took the truck home. The next day I went in to give them a two thousand dollar check for the down payment and took them some of my pay stubs. Then they told me three banks approved me but none of them could finance my truck because the milage on the truck went over 100000. However their company could finance my truck at an interest rate of 22% or higher and my payment would be of $550 or more. I don't even understand how its possible for 3 banks to approve me but none could finance my truck.Desired Settlement: I want them to grant me what I signed for and since I drove out all the way there I want them to deduct gas money from the down payment. .or not have to put any money down

Review: 8/24/2015 I came to Chapman parts department at [redacted] before 5:30pm. 15 seconds after I entered the parts department at 5:30pm illuminated with the lights and the parts customer service representative behind the counter, I was told parts is closed when I could have been served as the last customer. I do not beleive this is respectable customer service. I have been to other parts department not at Chapman and had been treated better then that at the last minute and served. This indicates lack of importance of customer service by Chapman in faver of serving the employee instead. This is not respectable. Similar unreported complaints occur on a regular basis. This may prompt me to find other venders in place of Chapman Chevrolet parts department even though once a loyal customer for 15 years.Desired Settlement: I would prefer better customer service and greater respect when I am the last customer in the door. I also would prefer to be served.

Review: I took my truck in for a routine oil change with a 27 point inspection on Saturday September 28, 2013, I picked my truck up when it was done and spoke with service man who provided me with my service receipt with no issues. When I got home I found a piece in my glove compartment and looked over my truck and realized there was a screw missing off my back drivers side tire. When I went back to the service department to find out why it was not put back on the service man was very rude and said oh sorry it was stripped and that is why they didn't put it on. There was no mention of this when I picked up my truck and nothing on my paperwork.Desired Settlement: I would like the issue with the screw fixed because when I took my truck in there wasn't an issue and then I wasn't even told or it wasn't in my paperwork that it was stripped.

Review: Chapman has sold me a lemon. I purchased used vehicle in April. 3 times between April and June the car shut off without warning with check engine light problems. When I purchased the vehicle I requested to transfer my plates that had registration til Nov/2015. They failed to transfer plates properly then advised I would receive a credit for the difference. I never received the credit. My plates car went up for emissions Nov/2014 and failed due to the same issue of the Check engine light being on. Long ago after the last repair I asked [redacted] (the service manager at the time) what was repaired. He gave me a number to a guy named [redacted] who never called me back. I didn't make a big deal of it until now when I can't pass emissions due to the initial problems I had with the car. I feel like the reason Chapman didn't properly transfer my plate is because they were aware that the car couldn't pass emissions. They knew that the emissions would only be valid til 2014. Their workers are incompetent of fixing the emission problem with my vehicle and tried to cover it up. Today my car is with Chapman and they have informed me that they have record of my car being there 3 times for the check engine light and has no record of what was done to fix the problem. They advised to date they can't find the issue and will start with exploratory search of dropping the gas tank for $480. They informed that [redacted] and [redacted] were fired for not keeping proper records. I Chapman sold me a lemon. I was desperate for transportation and gave them mercy to fix it after the tried 3times previously. Only to find out there repair was a cover up to conceal an emissions problem they didn't want me to know about.Desired Settlement: Take the car they sold me back and give all my payments back. Fix the car and take it to emissions at their expense.

Review: I purchased my 2011 Chevy silverado 5 months ago, paying $22,000, and all of a sudden my stabilitrak light came on and engine started shaking. After four different quotes we need a new engine. I have tried to contact [redacted] to remedy this situation and have received no response. I do all my scheduled maintenance at a dealership, so this should not have happened. I have paid too much money to now have to put a new engine in my truck.Desired Settlement: Replacement, Refund, Repair,etc...

Review: On 12/16/2013 I took my 2006 Chevy truck into Chapman Chevys service department do to an engine service light fault. They stated the fault was due to a bad engine knock sensor and they would need to replace both sensors, the wiring harness and the intake gasket set. The estimated the cost was $865 for parts and labor. I went on line to Chapmans part department and got a printout that the parts at my cost would be $242.41 plus tax for my make and model based on my VIN number. When I got the bill for the service, they charged me $434.64 less tax. A difference of $192.23. When I asked the service adviser why the difference, he stated I need to talk to the service manager ([redacted]) who was gone at the time. I call Mr. [redacted] the next day but got a voice mail. I left a message but he never returned my call. I called again on 12/20 and he stated he turned my complaint over to the parts department who never got back to me. When I ask him why they charged me almost double the price for the parts I could buy from their parts department, he stated that is what the part department charges him. This is definitely a scam and I want the price difference back. I am also filing a complaint with Chevy and the [redacted].Desired Settlement: the $192.23 parts differance

Regards,

Everyone car shopping ever stay clear of Chapman Chevrolet. Went to purchase a car on April 6, 2015 the vehicle was brand new I drove it to eat lunch with my daughter. After lunch the car wouldn't start then the second time it started and the check engine light came on. Keep in mind dealership is in Tempe and I am in Surprise and this happened in Phoenix. I drove back to the lot and the guys who fix the vehicles were gone so they put me in a different (new car on the lot) and put a dealer plate on it. They told me to come back Monday. I drove back Monday after work from Central Phoenix only to arrive to be told they are still working out the details on the financing so I had to leave with the same loaner car and drive it in the meantime and was told come back again Tuesday. I came back Tuesday and was told they thought it was best I stayed in this car until the financing was completed. I explained it was a tad inconvenient and they agreed to fill up the tank with gas for me. I've called them several times I have phone records to document with no follow up or return calls for weeks. Two weeks ago I was called and told they can't get it approved in the new car and asked me to bring the car back I agreed but said it would be that weekend and then asked them to have my 2500.00 down payment check ready, then the sales manager [redacted] asked okay can you bring it today then, I said no this weekend he agreed. I called back minutes later and said I would consider a deal if they can do it on a used version of the same car he said okay I'll work on it and call you back. Heard nothing, two days ago I got a call from the dealership they didn't leave a message I called back asked to speak to the sales manager he wasn't available. Sales man Ike called saying what happened I explained he said would talk to [redacted]. No call. Today I get a call saying they have inventory and need the car back I said Well I'm at work and have plans this weekend can I bring the car back this weekend. The sales man Ike said idk I'll ask [redacted] and call you back. So all of a sudden I get a text message cussing at me and saying they're going to report the car stolen if it's not returned by 5 pm I don't even get off work until 5pm. I don't even get off work until 5 p.m. and I am a single Mother. I've never refused to return the car and I can show proof of all of this. Please stay away from this so called "family owned business" this is the worst experience ever. Below are the text messages the one the salesman inadvertently sent to me lying and my reply. Please share and forward to everyone you know people should NOT be treated this way ever!

Text messages Ike:

OK she is being an [redacted]. She said she wants u to have her 2500 bucks ready I told her that I will send a couple of people there to pick up the car and drop hers off. I told her it's inventory and the bank wants to see the vehicle. She started bhing. She got company this weekend and no not givingbup the car this weekend . Bt. I am pissed off at her. Every one is in trouble because of this one car.

She does not understand it its the banks CSR and they want to see it. I dont know how else to explain it to her. Ok. You are pidsed of at me and I am at her for not understanding that I am in or refusing to understand.

I have been getting daily - weekly (multiple times a day) phone calls from Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe for the last 6 weeks about being interested in a car... Never been there, not trying to buy a car (and DEFINITELY wouldn't from here now) and every time I tell them this they hang up on me. Today I got 2 hang ups when I answered... This is getting to the point where it is borderline harassment. I have asked the sales gentleman every time to remove me. When I became upset and asked for a manager the last 3 times is when he began hanging up. Now he hangs up as soon as I answer and say this is [redacted]. That is deliberate. It is bad business practice. And when I finally took the time to call back the receptionist was rude (twice) and the manager seemed annoyed and then became argumentative.

I submitted an online credit app. I was contacted by [redacted] who told me to bring in "at least" $500 and they'd get me into a car based on my work history... I show up with $800 and bad credit. [redacted] sets me up with [redacted] who looks at everything I brought with and he says "No Problem, you can drive off in it today!" 2007 Caliber / 124000 miles / $12000 after all is said and done... (Rip Off!) Three hours later, [redacted]S is rushing me to sign papers while telling me why it's good that I'm paying them $4000 a year to do what AAA does for $1200... [redacted] brings me to the Sales Manager who's name I didn't get. That's how slimey he was. He takes my debit card, swipes it, then proceeds to tell me that they didn't have time to put a tracker on the car, and since "lower credit score people" tend to not pay them, I can't drive off after all. AFTER HE SWIPED MY CARD AND MADE THE SALE! HE KNEW I WAS EXPECTING TO DRIVE OFF, HE KNEW I COULDN'T YET HE SWIPED THE CARD AND TOLD ME AFTER!!!! I let him know that I didn't appreciate the maneuver and I told him I wanted to cancel. I'd take my business elsewhere. He gets upset, tells me I'm "backing out" on the deal. He then proceeds to tell me that he just does what the bank tells him and really this is happening because I have bad credit... He actually said that. This guy's a sg. Any it could see they were having trouble with financing and they had to wait until Monday to try again. THEY HAD ME SIGN A BLANK APP FOR A DIFFERENT BANK... They could've been honest and I would've come back. Instead they swipe my card to lock me in, and they LIE about the reason. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE IF YOU WANT AN AFFORDABLE USED CAR!! THEY DON'T RESPECT COMMON, HARD WORKING PEOPLE.

On Saturday January 11, 2014 my husband and I went to Chapman Chevrolet to take my 2014 Chevrolet [redacted] in for service repairs and to address the matter of an expired temporary license plate. While there we thought to ask some questions about the possibility of trading in our van for a pick-up truck. For the purchase of my [redacted] we worked with a salesman [redacted], and we felt comfortable having him assist us again. We talked with [redacted] and let him know we were interested in trading in our van for truck. My husband and I were delighted to hear that there was a dealership special on all 2014 Chevrolet pick-up trucks of $6,500.00 off the price of the trucks. We felt good about the discount and informed [redacted] that we would be looking around the dealership lot to see if there was anything in their inventory we would be interested in purchasing while he was finishing up his business with another customer. As he left he did acknowledge us that he would return to assist us.

My husband and I looked around the dealership lot and found a truck that we thought was perfect for us at a reasonable posted vehicle price. We spent several hours at Chapman Chevrolet waiting for the salesman [redacted] to return. Understanding that it was a Saturday and very busy we patiently waited for the opportunity to work a trade in deal. After approximately 2 and ½ hours we were finally able to take the vehicle out for a test drive and were prepared to work a deal on the vehicle we selected. When we sat down at a customer table to go over the details that come with the purchase of a vehicle, I noticed there was a discrepancy in the paperwork [redacted] brought us and the price posted on the vehicle.

I was puzzled as to why the price of the vehicle we were going to negotiate was much higher than the price listed on the vehicle itself. I informed the salesman and showed him the window sticker price posted for the vehicle we were interested in purchasing was very different from the price he was coming to the table with. He noted that the price of the vehicle on the window sticker was an error and he would speak to his Sales Manager [redacted]. As the salesman showed the sales manager the price discrepancy, the sales manager immediately seemed upset and his approach toward us made us feel like he was accusatory that we may have had something to do with the discrepancy. There was no pleasantries exchanged as he immediately began talking at us rather than to us that there was an error and he could not sell us the vehicle at the listed price. He made several statements that it was the wrong inventory number even though all the numbers matched with the vehicle we were interested in. His body language and demeanor displayed a lack of professionalism and irritation that we found a vehicle with a price posted on it that Chapman Chevrolet was never intending to sell the vehicle for despite the documentation on the vehicle.

Mr. [redacted] tried to explain his version of how the error came about, while never intending to honor the listed price. As customers we thoroughly browsed their inventory when locating this vehicle. Mr. [redacted] did say he would try to get a deal put together that would come close the listed price of the vehicle we wanted to purchase. By this time my husband and I had been at the dealership for over 5 hours. The sales manager never returned with an offer on the vehicle of our choice, but was able to present offers on another vehicle almost immediately. After all our patients the sales manager provided a monthly payment quote over $1,000.00 a month on a different model truck, but never the one we had wanted to purchase. His claim was the price and payments were identical, but never showed us any comparison to the truck we wanted. The sales manager never returned to speak with us and that is when we realized he was forcing us out of the dealership by setting pricing at an outrageous amount.

We were shocked and disappointed that Chapman Chevrolet would be blatantly dishonest about their business and utilize over pricing tactics to discourage our pursuit of a vehicle purchase at their establishment. As customers we never expected Chapman Chevrolet to fail to honor the price of a vehicle they listed and posted on the vehicle for the customer. We are good faith customers that were treated like 2nd class citizens even after they presumed the price error to be on their part.

Review: New truck with included 2 year/24,000 mile service. Took it in for second free oil change, tire rotation, etc., and a warranty repair. Marked the tires with a sharpie before dropping it off. Forgot to check at the dealership when picking it up, but when I got home I looked and they did not rotate the tires - wiped tire black on the sidewalls to make them look pretty, but did not rotate them. Called my service advisor and got a message stating would be called back within an hour. 90 minutes pass with no call, so I went on-line with their live chat and let them know what was going on. She says she will forward our chat. I tell her that I need the truck ready to go today and if I do not hear back from them in 30 minutes I am taking it to Discount Tire to have them do the work that Chapman was supposed to do. 45 minutes pass without a call, so I call Discount to see if they are busy and take the truck there to have the work done. While talking with the tech at Discount I finally get a call from someone at Chapman. Too late.Desired Settlement: Replacement service.

Review: On 11/22/2013 I was led to believe the vehicle we desired was minutes from the establishment, and after the deal was made, we found out that it was hours away and the vehicle was still being negotiated. We live 2 hours away from this city and needed to go home. The sales manager, [redacted], arranged for the vehicle to be delivered to us. The next day the vehicle was delivered to our home with extensive damage to the front bumper. We did not take possession of the damaged car and [redacted] and Ike , the salesman promised to have another vehicle by monday the 25th. After several days of promising a vehicle but producing excuses I informed [redacted] that we did not want the vehicle and would like our vehicle back. We returned the loaner within 12 days and retrieved our original vehicle. The loan was not stopped and financing has gone through.I /have asked [redacted] and the finance manager, [redacted], to return the money to [redacted]. As of today, 12/27/2013 the loan is still active and my credit is still in question.Desired Settlement: Pay back the loan and all interest that has accrued.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I have verified with [redacted] that this matter was finally taken care of. It is unfortunate that I had to file a complaint with this organization in order to get this done.

Regards,

I have both a 2012 and a 2007 Chevrolet vehicle and they have only been serviced at Chapman Chevrolet. I also take my parents care there for it's servicing which is a Buick. I have enjoyed consistently outstanding service for the past 9 years. Whether it is a simple oil change, tires or warranty work, their prices are fair, their communication both timely and accurate, and customer friendly. Today I had a service appointment and was so impressed by the quality of my Service rep I decided to post it somewhere it might make a difference.

We recently purchased a used car from Chapman Chevrolet. First, the salesperson we worked with, [redacted], was very personable and provided a great experience while examining and test driving the car. The car had just been traded in and needed to clear with the seller's bank as well as be inspected and detailed. [redacted] kept us up to date on the process over the course of six days.
We negotiated a price that was a little above our target but it did not sound like we were going to get anything better and figured if neither party is entirely happy it's probably a good deal.
The agreement was "$X plus tax" and we had that in writing from the dealership. We even had it stated that it would include temporary registration (we were taking the car out of state). Everything went smoothly and quickly until we entered the finance manager's office.
At this point we were hit with three additional fees:
1) Window etching; about $300.
2) Registration; about $80.
3) Documentation; about $400.
After a little push back the finance manager removed the window etching without approval from the sales manager but made it sound like all the fees had been rolled back. We noticed that was not the case when we were to sign the final loan document which still had the registration and documentation fees on it.
At this point the sales manager was called in and told us that regardless of whatever deal we had with him that we had to either pay registration and documentation or walk away. This is why car dealerships have such bad reputations: not honoring deals you make in writing and disclosing all fees up front.
In the end we made the deal and rolled the additional fees into the finance. However, the entire experience was soured by nearly $500 in additional fees and made our entire negotiation of "$X plus tax" seem worthless.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience at the dealership and would test drive cars there again. As for purchasing a car there that's not going to happen again. If you do intend to buy a car from Chapman I would recommend not considering any negotiations final until speaking with the finance manager. If we weren't leaving town in 24 hours I would have walked away - learn from my experience and just do so!

Review: On March 28th, 2015, I bought a new car from Chapman Chevrolet. I wanted a black ZL1 Camaro that they did not have, so I had them locate me one, which they found in California. I made it perfectly clear to the salesman that I did not want anything added to the car once they got it, and he will still vouch for that fact today. We worked out the deal, and I agreed to pay the shipping of the car from CA to AZ. After we worked out the deal, they had to "build" the deal, which was late in the day that Saturday. Upon getting home, I noticed that I had been charged $1,276 for dealer installed accessories, which made no sense since Chapman didn't even possess the car I bought. I immediately contacted the salesman and sales manager [redacted]. He told me that he would have to check with the accounting people to verify I had been wrongfully charged since they were gone for the day, and then, we could take it from there. Well, he verified that I was wrongfully charged the next business day, and then, he told me that since I didn't want the dealer installed accessories that I had been billed for that he would send me a check once the dealership was paid for the deal by the bank. That happened 2 weeks ago, and I have still not got my money, almost a month after the deal. Instead, I have been getting nothing but the run around from them. Yesterday, I talked to the general service manager [redacted] that was doing more stalling. I told him this story, and rather than tell me a check was in the mail as he should have done, he told me he would need to talk to the salesman and sales manager, which I am sure he had done before he called. I called him twice today and left another message that was not returned, so this is the first step in me getting back my money by other means. As a warning to others, the dealer installed accessories they charged me for is the alleged "Chapman Value Package", which is tinting the windows and putting nitrogen in the tires, which isn't worth $200 combined, let alone $1,276. The funny thing is that this is like being billed for a supercharger never bolted on the car. I was charged for accessories that I did not want and were not put on the car before I picked it up, but I have yet to be refunded my money. As of now, I want back my money plus interest on that money.

Sincerely,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my $1,276 plus interest lost.

Interest paid to finance company on money=Prt=$1,276*.0485*(24/365)=$4.07

Interest not earned from my bank account=$1,276*0.005*(24/365)=0.42

Total=$1,280.50 as of today.

I actually have two issues as I was a returning customer x 3.On 11/2011 my wife and I purchased a vehicle from Chapman Chevy, an 08 [redacted]. When we purchased this it was represented as having no accidents and low mileage. The [redacted] showed no accidents and the salesman ([redacted]) when asked said no accidents. So we worked out a deal and I bought it. Well 2 weeks ago I decided to trade in my truck for a chevy 4x4 I found at chapmans online. I figured Id be able to get a decent deal plus I'm a returning customer and was hoping to get a decent discount on a used truck. So I contacted [redacted] about the lifted [redacted] online. He immediately contacted me by phone and email. I emailed back that I was in the market for that truck, and gave him my terms. We went back and fourth for about 4 days. He gave me a call and asked me if he could get me in the truck for 28.5K out the door with my trade paid off would I agree to the deal, he also emailed me the same. I emailed him back saying yes. He had the Sales Manager email me concerning the deal and offering me up a thousand dollar returning customer discount he said he mailed to me and I had to bring in. I told [redacted] ok, then he emailed me to bring it with me. I waited two days and nothing in the mail. [redacted] emails me again and asks what deal I'm looking for, Kinda strange I thought but ok maybe I can get a bigger discount so I told him 26k OTD and the thousand dollar discount so 25k OTD. Emailed him Id do the deal. I waited another day, then [redacted] said I need u to come in and test drive the car while I have yours looked at to make sure we give you maximum amount. At that point I told him I wanted the paperwork completed by the time I come in so I don't have to wait around for hours. He emailed me back said it would be done and well see you on Saturday. Saturday comes I show up, [redacted] is with another customer and I wait around for about 20 minutes before he comes over and tells me another salesperson will be helping me, he's too busy! Said he was a good guy and he trusts he will do a good job. Anyway the guy comes over and was very untalkative for the first 15 min or so, kind of of strange for a salesman. Anyway they acted like they couldnt find the keys to this big truck and I was told that it was probably already sold or put in the back for someone because that's what happens when something nice comes in like that. OK. SURE. They finally found the key and I test drove it, told the guy my deal I worked with [redacted] and the sales manager on email 25k out the door my truck paid off. He says ok, good. We get back to the dealership, and he comes in asking for my wife to be put on the credit app, for a better deal. I said ok. Then he puts down a paper with 28k sale price 33k OTD and 5000 down. I said no no no, the deal is 25k OTD trade paid off, I give him my email and he shows the Sales manager. He comes back says cant do it, I said your not going honor our deal? He says nope, turns and walks away. I said thanks for wasting my time and tell [redacted] along with the SM the same!

Second part, I go to a different dealership work out a deal on a rocking truck for much less than Chapmans. He asks me for my vin on my [redacted] and I give to him. The salesman calls me back and says we wont be able to accept the trade. What! Why not I say, he says your car was in an accident. It shows up as a bad [redacted]. Cant be, when I purchased it from (CHAPMAN), it showed no accidents on the [redacted]. So we compared Vins and such. Sure enough there was an accident reported to the [redacted] 3 months after we purchased it. The accident happened in 2010 and we bought at the end of 2011. The dealer (Chapmans) who sold it to me failed to do their due diligence and put a car for sale on their LOT that had been in a prior accident. Then sold it to me as having no accidents. Now I'm screwed because I owe 15k on it, been paying for 2 years and cant sell it for even half of what I owe due to the misinformation. And I cant trade it in either. Nobody wants to give me anything for it nor do they want a car with a bad [redacted] on it!!!! Had I known it was in an accident I would have not purchased it!!!! I would have found something else.

Review: I signed papers to purchace a vehicle on 12-30-15. The service light came on immediately. I brought it in to be fixed, waited 4 hours, but the light came right back on. I talked with a manager and scheduled another service on 1-8-16. When I went in for service they told me that they needed $900 more to make it go thru. I did not agree, since they are not fixing tge problem, which was the main computer. They gave me my trade in back, but were "unable" to return my deposit. Promised it would be waiting on 1-11-16. It is not. These people are full of deception to get people to buy! Please shut these people down! Ps. I signed for a bumper to bumper warrantyDesired Settlement: SHUT THEM DOWN ! and a refund of my deposit, please.

Review: We bought a 2012 1500 pick up @ Chapman Chevy, We agreed on a deal 1,500 down with are trade 2012 Malibu, The deal was set as a written a garment 2.6 interest rate for 84 month @ $283.00 per month . I left very happy with the truck. We even bought a extended warranty for $2075.00 bumper to bumper. 25 hr after we bought the truck and took it home I received a call at 7;30 pm from [redacted] they telling me the bank will not do the deal at 2.6% and that I needed to make a higher pay meant at $311.00 a month and my interest rate would go up to 4.9 % He asked if I was willing to do that I told him NO, He said fine bring the truck back and the deal was off, I called [redacted] the next morning (sales Manger) I asked if this is a mistake he said NO I need to give them $1.000 more or bring the truck back. I live in Peoria and they are located in tempe. I feel the truck up with $50.00 of gas after the salesman said he was having it filled up. So I drove all the way back there and they would not give me my car back!!! I waited for 1 1/2 hr for [redacted] to give me my car back, I told him at that time I had an appoint with Midway Chevy. He held me up wasting my time for 6 hours Then he said he would give me a new 2013 pickup for the same deal, but I had to go all the way back the net day, I told [redacted] to put it in writing he got very upset with me and said im not a lawyer. I asked him to give something so I don't waste my time he would not give any thing but his word. after 6 hr of waiting on him he said they would give me the original deal. After spending my time and gas he should give me some comp for all the trouble lost of sleep time and gas. P.S. I found out this typical of dealers to do this to buyers it's called the yoyo game!!!!Desired Settlement: 2013 1500 x

extended cab pick up for same terms. 2.6% 84 month and payment at $283.00 mo offered by by [redacted] (sales Manger) or $150.00 for my time and gas.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Yes [redacted] offered me a GM store credit of $250.00 two weeks a go he was going to mail it right out and I never received it, To this day 12/12/2014 also just revved a call from credit manger [redacted] saying he needed pay stubs and letter from two people that don't live in the house or the lender will not do the loan. I don't under stand why he has waited over two weeks to ask for this info. Now my car payments are going to all messed up with a car payment I don't [redacted] and a truck payment due 01/13/2015 Im not happy, This relay puts me and my family in a bad finance way. I called the bank and was told this proses would take no more then two weeks MAX

Regards,[redacted]
