Charter Van Lines

We moved last month and Charter van lines was the company we hired. Our only reason for hiring them was a glowing recommendation from a family friend. Anyway, the movers turned out to be a blessing. They were punctual, efficient, careful, friendly and experienced. They were quick to pack and load everything from our 4-bedroom apartment. All our belongings were delivered safely. I couldn’t believe the sheer professionalism, skills and timing displayed by this company. I suggest everyone to hire them.

We used Charter van lines to pack and move a few months ago and had a great experience. We did most of our packing ourselves, but left the most fragile things for them to pack and they did an excellent job - only a couple of things broke, which is excellent given the amount of belongings we had. The team on moving day was great as well. I had to opt for a different crew for the delivery because we kept the things in storage for more than a month. I specifically want to call out their supervisor because he was on top of his team making sure they were moving as efficiently as possible.

Never judge a man by his muscles. 2 years back when we moved, I hired a company who claimed to have the strongest men in their group. When they showed up at my house, the men did look like wrestlers right out of my TV. But these men were so incompetent. They had all the muscle but no training for how to move out tricky pieces of furniture. They didn't promise me the strongest men but when the men showed up on time, all uniformed and ready to carry heavy things, I knew these guys meant business. Hiring a professional is much better than ending up with broken and damaged valuables.

Most moving companies are just rip-offs. On the other hand, Charter van lines is very different. They were efficient, and didn't complain no matter how heavy the items were - they just worked. They showed up on time and packed up everything very fast. I didn’t even have to lift a finger. The whole moving-loading process took a very short time and then they set off. The van pulled up at my new house right on schedule and all my valuables were safe. I appreciated how professional, courteous, and kind they were. I will use them again!

Charter van lines is a very efficient company that really care for its clients. I was moving out of my apartment and moving to a house 3 days later. The company allowed me to hire their 2 vans for three days to save me the trouble of getting my belongings in and out of storage units. I was very pleased to see how carefully they packed and loaded my belongings. They showed up right on queue at the final destination. I think more companies should allow this kind of flexibility for the customers as many are scared of the storage units and how they often damage valuable pieces of furniture.

They were very conscientious and careful with the furniture, and the made the move and everything very smooth. And I enjoyed a trouble-free experience. I recently moved from a 4 story town house to a 2 story condo and had an amazing experience with Charter van lines. The call time for them show up was between 8 and 9 am and I think they arrived at 8:02. The first thing we did was go all over the house and I showed them what boxes and rooms were mine (since I had 2 roommates who also were packed up but their belongings weren’t coming with me). They taped up and packaged all of my televisions and big furniture items. They also dissembled my bed frame and resembled it at my new place with no problem whatsoever. Once we arrived to the condo, I walked around and told them what boxes/furniture goes in which room and where I wanted the things. None of my belongings were even slightly damaged. I also had just repainted the entire unit and was worried about the narrow staircase and hallways, but there are no scuff marks whatsoever. My last move was a nightmarish experience with a different company, but this one was amazing. It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny!
