Dear [redacted] ,Thank you for contacting Check 'n GoWe are responding to your complaint filed with the Revdex.comUpon receipt of your complaint, Company contacted the District Director of Operations (DDO), for the retail store location servicing your account, to inquire about the date they received notification of your intent to file bankruptcy. The store confirmed they were not notified until after payment on your loan was due and after the payments had been submitted and processed by your financial banking institutionIn order to cease payment on your account during the bankruptcy process, you must provide evidence of your bankruptcy filing, which includes: the attorney’s name, address and telephone number; your bankruptcy case number; or official documentation of filingThe information also must be submitted to the store at least hours before the next scheduled payment due date.According to the section of your signed financial agreement titled “Method of Repayment,” it states: “ [redacted] Authorization—You hereby authorize us or our agent to initiate one or more electronic debit entries to your bank account identified below (your “bank account”) to collect the amounts you owe us under the payment schedule disclosed on page of this loan agreement, plus any fees that may arise due to your default on this loan, such as dishonored item fees or late fees.”As a result, it has determined company protocol was followed, and we are unable to render a more favorable determination in your case.Regards,Nei B***Customer Complaints

Hello,I have investigated your account and do see that the full balance was presented to your bank on 11/12/2016. Please find the extended payment plan agreement attached. You'll see, in section 5, where it explains the expectations of the payment plan. "You promise to pay each installment listed in... the modified payment schedule in cash on or before the installment's due date. If you do not, then we will accelerate the entire balance due and will deposit the check or present the check for payment to your bank." A payment of $143.75 was due on 11/11/2016. When you did not make the scheduled payment, as agreed, the full balance of the original loan agreement was presented to your bank in line with the amendment that is attached. Company has acted in line with the loan agreement as presented and signed by customer. Based on these facts, company will not be providing a refund or funds to cover any overdraft fees. Regards,Customer Service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The company again confirmed that they are forcing me into collections in order to have the opportunity to discuss repayment terms on my account This is completely unacceptable and in my opinion, threateningI was misled by the store associates regarding early payoff Regardless of what the 15-page contract may say in the fine print, they clearly told me that I could avoid the interest by paying the loan off early I paid the borrowed amount back more than a year early and still they tell me I owe more than 50% interest on the money borrowed The associates grossly and intentionally misled me; hence their predatory loan practice reputationThe response to my Revdex.com complaint was the FIRST time I have been able to receive communications from their corporate office Despite multiple efforts to contact someone on the phone and e-mails sent through their website, I never received a response I was disconnected multiple times from their "customer service" number after being given the runaround by multiple people They need to allow direct communication since they are unwilling to empower anyone in my state to work with me on my loan It's absurd that it has come to this. The only terms I will accept from the company are the following: I would be willing to pay $1,to close out my loan This would result in Check n' Go receiving 30%+ in interest on the amount I borrowed Additionally, I would like them to be more clear with their repayment terms and provide direct access, either by telephone or e-mail to their corporate office.I have already contacted the [redacted] 's office and will contact my own attorney if these terms are not accepted Regards, [redacted]

Hello,Based on the notes, your complaint and a review of the Extended Payment Plan Rules in Utah, it is our belief that you were accurately described the requirements and expectations of the payment plan you requested. Each of the notes on the account specify the date of 1/30/17 as the date this... would need to be set up. On 1/30/2017 an extended payment plan was created at your request. This amendment to the credit agreement was electronically signed by you on the same date. Based on this, your request was upheld and the extended payment plan was created for the loan agreement. Company does not believe that any additional compensation is warranted in this situation.Regards,Customer Service

The business claims that they had additional information come through AFTER they had agreed to a settlement offer and received payment from meThey added an additional $to the balance due. The business claims that they have now settled in full and that the case is closedHowever, that status is pending additional payment from me, which they are withdrawing from my bank account on 11/1/I have no options and no reassurance that they will not claim again that additional information has surfaced AFTER requiring additional monies from me and/or receiving a second settlement.Their business practices are unethical and possibly borderline illegal (ie: agreeing to a settlement and receiving money in good faith, then rescinding that agreement in lieu of more money and another settlement).Attached, please find copies of their original email stating the first settlement would take care of the final bill, which I paid in full on 9/20/ Also attached is the second settlement agreement requiring more money from me on 11/1/to close this out. Thank you for taking time to look into this issue.*** ***

Hello,Please find the response from our field partner below"*** *** came in to refinance her loan on 2/6/She made on time payments in March and then at the end March when the store courtesy called her on the 30th for her upcoming payment on 4/1/she told the store manager she doesn’t
