I found out that Christian Faith Publishing was out of business then returned into business the last three yearsThey did something unheard of in publishing: They sent me e-mails and a letter that stated I could not change my text! We are customers and all of the authors are human beings and we are fallible, like anyone elseI have a contract from another Publisher that says I can change my book even after publishing, which is the standard for a reputable companyI sent in $1150, $twice or a total so far of $I told them to please send my money back but they never returned anything or even an e-mailThey do not operate as their name implies eitherThey say on their sight that they are accredited by the Revdex.com, but do not seem to be eitherI told them that a book can come out a lot faster and so can editingThey told me that if I edited my book they would not edit itI sent a "sample" early on and they ran an editing program after I sent them another e-mailThey edi

They take your money and disappearI had to do my own editing and create my own cover I was told that I had to find out if my cover image was copywrited so I asked to have them duplicate something similar They went ahead and printed it with that image I wanted help on editing the back cover They didn't help with that I told them to leave out a particular paragraph in the book, they left it in I can't keep up with the mistakes and I can't get them to return my calls or my money I would NEVER recommend this company As others have said, they have zero communication with you after they get your money I've gone nearly two weeks waiting on a reply to an email I've called and asked to cancel my contract, and they ignore me It looks like getting an attorney is my only option at this point

I disagree with the company's response to my complaintI did receive a voicemail message on December 11, followed by an email letting me know that Shalanda account manager try to get a hold of me but she left me a voicemail on my home phoneI responded back to her email letting her know I would call her on December or 13thI did return her call on December 13, but I received her voicemailI left her a message asking her to call me on my cell phoneAlso I left her the number so I wouldn't miss her call next timeNo one ever responded back to me until 12/21/, but she didn't call my cell phone so I missed that call as wellThe same evening I sent Shalanda an email letting her know I left her a voicemail on December with my cell phone number on and that I was surprised I haven't heard from her 12/21/Shalanda left me another voicemailBut I didn't receive the message until after business hours, so I emailed her asking her to please call me on 12/22/on my cell phone. she did return my callThe morning of 12/22/and guaranteed me they would correct all of my concernsI told her I'd would be willing to continue working with their companyAll I wanted was my book to be done rightSo as of right now I will withdraw my complaint and hope that what she promised me does in fact happen and then because of my concerns with the representative I was working withShe told me if I have any more problems or concerns with him to call her directly and she will take care of itIf everything that she promises me happens, then I will be satisfied with the company and withdraw my complaint thank you, *** ***
