Business indicated he has contacted the customer to set up a date for repairs to the patio.

I'm letting him know Tuesday of this week which day I can schedule it for the following week. Exactly as I explained it to him. As I said I've taken 2 of my contractor buddies to look at and both said I'm nuts to replace it it looks great, but yet I'm doing it

Revdex.com:
I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The owner has not been in contact with me for over a month about resolution of this matter. The issues are more extensive than just joint shrinkage. There are cracks all over the patio, grass growing through the joints, and flaking of the concrete off of the existing patio. I have tried to voice these concerns with him and he does not seem receptive to discuss these issues. I wish to be present when they fix these issues to discuss the concerns in person and again he does not seem receptive to this by giving us any sort of timing on resolution of the matter.

Hi [redacted]If it wasn't for your call I would've never seen the past emails it's all been going into my spam. I've been all happy thinking everything is under control then I saw that from [redacted]. I thought we had that one situated I went out and saw the entry and then told my crew leader to go look...

at it and set up a repair schedule with [redacted]. The plan is still to repair or replace the entry areas in question. I wasn't aware of any curb issues until you directed me to the email but we can take care of those, but as far as the color of the driveway we have no control of that. We order the same type Concrete from the same concrete company and pour what is delivered we have no control over how the final color turns out. But I know [redacted] was told to give it time to cure out Longer and if it was still different in colors I would have the Concrete engineer from [redacted] come out and see if they had any issues with the batches sent. Thanks[redacted]

The last communication to Mr. [redacted] was made BY me after a couple weeks of filing my complaint with the Revdex.com.  He has had many opportunities to fix, repair, adjust, or replace the patio.  What he is unable to do is provide an accurate date of job completion.  When he continues being extremely vague, it leaves a customer on hold.  I have not had my patio fully set up for an entire season because his workers "will be out to fix it soon".As he stated in his most current statement, he says "he believe" he and I agreed to replace the patio.  Here is a copy of what he actually wrote in the email.""I absolutely still plan on fixing it i'm wanting to just replace the whole thing, I stopped when I received the notice from the Revdex.com because I didn't know the process. Frrom what the lady said it's between the 2 of us to come up with a final resolution which is what's been going on. I'm sorry you've had to deal with this but I've found out some things that lead me to understand why that crew did the job the way they did. Needless to say we both got a bad deal and I jusr want to make it right. [redacted]""I wrote back the following:Here are the options [redacted]1)  Fix the dang mistake - however you need to make it right.  Pour a solid colored layer over the existing patio with the grading corrected or pull it out and start from scratch.  Just fix it.  One job, one color, nothing fancy.  That's where I was when I hired you.2)  Refund the second check I gave you "upon completion" which was $1192.00  That way I can hire someone to come fix this.Choose one and actually do it and then we can be done with this whole thing.I have heard nothing since that email and that was sent on 10-21-16.  I have winterized my patio furniture as I don't expect this company to come through with this job.

I don't know if [redacted] did not receive my call Friday but I left a message telling her we were going to do the needed repairs before winter like she'd asked.[redacted]

There are several problems with [redacted]'s, the owner of Cincinnati Concrete Solutions, response to my complaint:1. After I was promised yet again the issues would be resolved and not hearing from [redacted] for approximately a month, I registered a complaint with the Revdex.com on Friday afternoon August 26, 2016. I then called (that same day) both of his phone numbers( one at 3:15 pm, the other at 3:18pm) and left messages that I had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.  I received a text from [redacted] the same day at 4:15 pm saying he was going to replace the sidewalk. A coincidence that he left this text approx one hour after he got my calls about registering with theRevdex.com?? I seriously doubt it considering his behavior towards me for the past 8 months. 2. Nowhere in [redacted]'s Revdex.com response did he say what he was actually going to do. He said he had offered to replace the sidewalk (in a text, mind you --he doesn't have the professionalism to actually call me), but he did not say in his Revdex.com response that he was actually going to do that.  When I texted him back (on Saturday August 20, 2016) and asked for a day and a time tore[place the sidewalk, he texted back he would do it in the week after next, and that he would give me a day and a time when he better knew it.  My concern about this is that several times now [redacted] has said he would do something in the next two weeks, and then never does. I'd like him to put it in writing that he is going to replace the sidewalk, and the day and the time he is going to do it.

[redacted]

I guess if my communication skills were better this would have been avoided, I've had her repairs scheduled for this Friday for a week, was gonna contact her today as I saw has our schedule went along for the week. Thanks[redacted]

I told her I decided to replace it instead of repair

We filed a complaint for a concrete company back in late September about a disputed amount that we overpaid.  After we sent in the complaint, the owner of the company texted us and told us that he will look into the amount we overpaid.  Therefore we closed the complaint and thought the...

issue would be resolved.  But it has been over five weeks and we had not heard back from him.  Please let us know how we should proceed to reopen the complaint.  Many thanks for your help.Complaint ID [redacted] Sincerely,[redacted]email:  [redacted]

I am also sending the check for reimbursement Scott

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, provided Mr. J[redacted] resolves this in a timely manner.
Regards,
[redacted]

Enclosed you will find the last two e mails we sent to Scott and his reply. He claimed he sent a reply the next day after my phone call but once again that is not true!  We sent an e mail on March 17, 2015.  Eight days later we sent another e mail reminding Scott who we were and sent our phone number asking him to come repair the driveway. He did NOT reply until April 6th which the attachments will show. The last reply we got was April, 2015 at which time he said he would be out but was having a hard time with all the rain. We have called several more times but Mr. J[redacted] never returns calls. For him to tell you he told us he would be out in March is just another of his lies. March would make it 11 months AFTER the e mail when he said he would do the work!! At this point we are hesitant to even have him on our property again. He is a liar and the work is NOT what he promised and we found many things wrong and it is very obvious he does NOT stand behind his work!!  Thank You, [redacted]

I have been in discussion with [redacted] about the repairs we plan an making and now that the weather has started to improve we'll be out shortly to make the needed repair which is shrinkage in the control joint area. It's a common procedure when doing an overlay.thanks[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am open to having the job done but I want an actual date.  There was no problem getting the job done quickly when it was the initial $2650.00.  When it comes to repair, it is over 6 months of running in circles, giving patience, offering to help - and still, the water collects at the base of the house because the angle is backwards.Regards,

Regards,
[redacted]  I previously filed a complaint. The complaint [redacted] was closed due to no further info from me. I still have not received a reimbursement check that was promised me from this company for cutting the dog electric fence wire. I waited to see if the check would arrive, but, alas, no check has been sent. Desired Resolution: Refund Cincinnati Concrete Solutions has never sent a check for the electric dog fence wire they cut, even though they said on the complaint that they would be sending a reimbursement.  I keep thinking they will follow through on their promise to send a reimbursement check.  Obviously, they will not follow through with this.  My next step will be [redacted].
