If you had your material appraised, it may have been appraised based on resale values.  We do not resell the material that comes into us.  Everything is processed for the gold, silver, platinum, and palladium that is in the shipment. You are paid 82% of the market value, for these metals that we are able to recover.  It clearly states in our terms and conditions that we process the shipments as they come in,  and that all transactions are final.  Again, we apologize that we are not able to payout the amount you had expected, or send the material back to you. CJ Environmental, Inc.

Please add your rejection comments below. Unfortunately, it is not my problem that their employee switched departments and there was zero communication. I was never notified that I needed to return the check to the business within 10 business days of the date on the check if I wanted my items back. I was never altered that their department received my items (I only found out when I received the check in the mail). There was no documentation accompanying the check to notify me that I could accept the check or return it with in 10 business days. Upon receiving the check, because I did not agree to the amount, I immediately emailed their employee who never responded to me and therefore there was a lapse in the check. I have not cashed the check, it has been sitting on my dresser waiting for this issue to get resolved. So I think that it is only fair that because I was never notified that they received my items, I was never given documentation or explanation of the process once I received the check, and their employee did not respond to any of my emails, that I be refunded for my items or my items be returned to me. None of this situation is a fault of mine and now I have been left to clean up their mess. Regards,

[I do not see how you can say that I was paid 82% of the precious metal that was in what I sent you. I did work for a smelting company and I do have 8 years experience and knowledge. Again, if you web site was up front and if I was told that you were not going to process my shipment and that I would not be getting an assay report and break down of what was reclaimed and how much was reclaimed I would have never sent my material to you and your company. The CPU mother board chip alone were worth more than I got paid by you, so yes you may have gotten over me but I will be finding a more trustworthy company to do business with in the future and I have already told my friend and any one else who should ask me about my experience with sending in material to be processed, to find another source. They way you treat your customers has much to be desire. And at the time I sent you in my material an ounce of gold was over $1100.00 an ounce. and the mother board CPU chips that were packed separately was worth more than what you decide each piece was worth. Each customer should be treated fairly and unless you can say that you processed my shipment by itself and reclaimed all the precious metals, made what ever size button/small bar and then drilled a small hole in the bar and took the drilling and had it assay, that's the way you find out how much each lot is worth and how much is to be paid. Anyway way else you are ripping off all the small lots. And again your web site made it sound that you did process each lot separately. So I will feel that you got over me and ripped me off. I know the value was a lot greater than what I got and now I will learn from my mistake of trusting your company to do what was on their web site and not to do the old bait and switch. Hope you sleep well at night, you got over me.]

There are notes in your file that you emailed about an earring with damage, however the email did not state anything about missing bracelets. [The 10 lb. minimum is Not Mentioned on their web site.  Here is email note from the company, please see below:   I BELIEVE THEY ARE FRAUDENTLY LURING PEOPLE TO SEND THEM ITEMS IN ORDER TO KEEP THEM - I DON'T BELIEVE THEY JUST THROW STUFF AWAY - I BELIEVE THEY ARE CROOKSThe material in your shipment was not comprised of silver or did not meet our Silver Plate minimum requirement of 10lbs, therefore contains no precious metal value.
If you would like us to return your material, EXCLUDING **Silver Plate, simply notify us via email within 48 hours of this notification. There is a $20.00 charge payable to CJ Environmental, Inc to ship this material back via FedEx. We DO NOT provide insurance on return shipments. If you would like insurance added an additional $20 will be required for a total of $40. We accept bank checks, cashiers checks, money orders or certified checks. No personal checks or cash please.
** Silver Plate transaction are FINAL - NO RETURNS
If you would like us to return your material you must let us know via email within 48 hours of the timestamp on this notification. CJ Environmental has not made any attempt to resolve the issues listed in my complaint. I have photo documentation of all the items I sent them. As I stated in my complaint, I had the majority of the items appraised before I sent them to this business. The total for the items I sent CJ Environmental were appraised at a minimum of $1,500 fair market value and they sent me a check for $75 and refused to return any of my items when I told them that I did not accept their offer. They are dishonest thieves and if necessary I will prosecute them to the full extent of the law to be paid fairly for the value of my property that they conned me out of. I have never dealt with such an unethical company. Because CJ Environmental refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing on their part and continue to send me a generic response to every complaint/concern I have had since they received my property, I will be sure to use every resource available to let as many people know about their shady way of robbing customers as I possibly can. ]

According to their Website I have 10 days to contact them if i'm unhappy with the Payment they send.  I was unhappy and notified them that $48.26 is completely UNACCEPTABLE for 26 grams of gold.  I returned the check using certified mail and they received the check on August 25, 2015 , 12:56 pmI received a response from [redacted] on August 26, 2015 3:12 PM  saying that they shipped my gold items and gave me a tracking number.  I contacted [redacted] on August 27, 2015 and asked why the tracking number still showed nothing being shipped. [redacted] then contacted me today at 9:52 A. M.  and said this "I am checking on this for you.  I put the package in our outgoing mail box yesterday afternoon myself, so I am not sure what happened with that." It is now 5:27 P.M. the post office is closed the tracking number she issued me is still showing nothing.  They are using Stall tactics.  I'm sure they melted my gold down already thinking I was just another naive person who did not know the value of gold and presumed I would accept that insulting check....Now that they processed the gold they are using stall tactics because they know they are in a tight spot.    I would like either my 26 grams of gold returned to me ASAP or I would like the full value in check form for 26 grams of 14k at the current gold price which is $548.82 as of todays gold prices.
