I am rejecting this response because: The Spirit Delivery and Distribution Company continues to lie and deny about being in my home and reinstalling my refrigerator. They are still refusing to take responsibility for their incompetent employees and have failed to make restitution on the damage their employees caused to our home Their representatives from their Company came to my house on Friday May 5th to inspect the damage. I walked them through the series of events and again advise them that my wife and I both witness their employee reinstall our refrigerator after we rejected the damage one. REGARDLESS if their was a shut off value on the ice maker line the main water or not it DOES NOT CHANGE the FACT that THEIR EMPLOYEE WAS IN OUR HOME AND REINSTALLED OUR REFRIGATOR INCORRECTLY AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO OUR HOME. To state that they are denying the claim because their was no shut off value on the ice maker water line is a complete and utter JOKE. I can assure you if both of these employees were given polygraph test they would fail miserably. So I am assuming when Spirit Delivery and Distribution Company deliveries to other customers for *** *** and these customer have no shut off valve on their ice maker waterline their employees refused to install the product? If that is the case I would like proof that their employees refuse to install a customers product especially when no shut valve in installed on the icemaker waterline No where on the delivery contract does it state that the customer must have a shut off valve on all ice maker lines before installation of refrigerators. The Spirit Delivery and Distribution Company is a fraud and bunch of pathological liars. I am appealing Spirits denial decision for my claim and I am demanding immediate restitution of this matter that is now going on for months. This action and denial is completely unacceptable from the Spirit Delivery and Distribution Company

I am rejecting this response because: several times after this complaint was filed, spirit delivery rescheduled delivery of the mattress, even after promising *** it would be delivered promptly after they contacted spirit
delivery on our behalffinally, on march 13, the person who answers the phone at spirit delivery called to verify the mattress was on the truck but had not left the warehousean hour later, she called me back and said the truck had broken down once again and they would have to reschedule for tuesday, march 14thon tuesday, march 14, the woman called me and told me they could no longer locate the mattress and would have to contact serta to reorder the mattressthis was a full month after our first scheduled delivery datealthough they did reorder the mattress, it will take an additional 5-business days to have the mattress delivered now because serta makes the mattresses as they are orderedthere is something very fishy about spirit delivery we have asked *** to avoid spirit delivery if possible in the delivery of our mattress now because we feel like if they are given another chance, they will give us the same bad customer servicewe are the 57th complaint to the Revdex.com and most of the complaints are similar to oursi do not know who investigates or takes away business licenses of companies, but spirit delivery should not continuously get away with causing consumers such griefthank you

I am
rejecting this response because:
installer (francisco) told me himself that he was responsible for the damages and to file a claim I wasn't there that day , my daughter was a nd he told her she had to sign release, she didn't realize what she was signingThis is only a $claim , not a lot of money, but the point is i;m on fixed income and shouldn't have to pay for someone's carelessness*** *** hires professional delivery people and installers, these guys damaged the PVC pipe because they must have forced the drain hose in too hard and cracked it! Total disregard for customer property! Poor workmanship! I've made countless calls since last September trying to resolve this simple matter, and don't appreciate your customer service people ignoring my messages and not returning my callsMelva D*** and Kayann A*** totally ignored me after they said they will talk to installer ( francisco) and get back to meA check covering this damage is long overdue, I'm entitled to compensation for damages caused during routine installation, and you need to hire people who can complete a simple washer installation properly

I am rejecting this response because: I witnessed the driver do this and the passenger of the delivery took a picture of the damage himself as well. I was told that *** *** would take care of
this since our item was purchased from them. They then forwarded me the delivery company that this is who would reimburse us for the damages done by THEIR DRIVERS! This is unacceptable that no one is willing to take responsibility for their actions. The drivers backed into our mailbox, they need to just replace what they damaged!

I am rejecting this response because:
I reported the property damage to the store within hour of the delivery I took all necessary steps to make sure all parties involved were aware of the damage The photo Spirit attached is one I provided the companyThe stove was left in that "uninstalled" position and that is exact location of where the biggest dent in the wood floor appears They did not attach that photo, which I also provided In addition, when I called the company upon receiving the letter which claimed "no liability", I was told that the drivers documented they were wearing protective booties at the time of deliveryThat was not accurate information They did not wear ANY protective gear on their feet I also explained to the drivers that the floor was brand new and to please be careful They did not put anything on the floor to protect it during the delivery of appliances Most delivery companies put sheets or cardboard down to protect floors as a regular protocol.The attached delivery slip does contain my signature but the checks indicating the absence of property damage could have been added after my signature was placed The company has no proof that they did not cause the damage I have proof that the products delivered were damaged as well The microwave was returned to the store because it was so badly crushed and dentedI had to purchase a new unit In the future, I would also appreciate a grammatically correct response from a business I feel it is a poor reflection of the company when responses are written in improper English

*** *** claim was tender into the delivery insurance carrier for handling

As per the delivery company on the day of the delivery prior to bring the appliance they did a walked through and advise the customer that there were pre-existing damages to the flooring and they also took pictures of the pre-existing damages. (see attached) The damages to customer home is
wear and tearing , pre-existing not related to the delivery of the appliance

There is no proof that the damages were caused by the delivery company

we apology for the inconvience during the delivery of the appliance
