Im on ***&***;and take care of my disabled kid so I dont have much money. I bought $9 worth of presets from them to see if I liked them. A month later (right before Christmas) my card was hit for $49 over drafting my bank account. My bank covered me eventually but took back the money (over drafting me again) because Coles Classroom was supposed to reimburse me which they didnt do. This has caused me all kinds of grief. $50 bucks may not seem like much but it screwed with our Christmas and is still screwing with my life. I have 18 cents in my account to survive with my kid 10 more days. I had to borrow money just to stop the overdraft fees. I will never do business with you again.

I am sorry! We do our best to ensure that all of our customers who opt-in to our trial are aware that they are auto-renewed on day 11 if they do not cancel. In fact, this is shown on the page at time of purchase, on email and even text.

I ordered some presets in May of 2018, checked the little box to enrolled in the week membership and didn?t understand that I would automatically be charged $49 if it was not cancelled. I was charged $441 before I realized to cancel it, and I haven?t logged in to my account in the 9 months I was charged :( I haven?t even made that amount taking people?s photos yet! Now I?m not even getting a response for cole?s classroom customer service, I doubt I?ll get a refund at all. READ CAREFULLY!

Hi *** - I am sorry for your frustration. As you indicated, you opted-in to our 10 day trial for our program. On that page we indicate that after the trial period you will be auto-enrolled in the program if you do not cancel beforehand and we also send emails indicating this. I do see that our customer support team has given you 2 free products and also manually cancelled your account.

I feel I was very patient when I noticed that CC took money out of my account after a 10 day trial, for $1, that I cancelled during the 10 days. I didn't notice that they took $49 out anyway. When I did notice, it was in the new year and they informed me that they could offer me products or elite membership, which I don't want, but would not give me the money took from my account without permission, in their error. So, now businesses can just take money because they can? They don't have to give it back because they're businesses? Pretty sure that's illegal.

I ordered a product from this company and did not receive what I ordered. They refuse to give me a refund or even offer an exchange for something else. Don?t do any business with this company what so ever. Either they shipped the wrong item or their advertisement for the product was misrepresented of what they were actually selling. Either way I?m out that money and it wasn?t cheap!!!

Read EVERYTHING carefully. They will enroll you in their membership and charge you monthly. Not worth the hassle!

I've looked up this customer's account and no membership was ever purchased...

I made a purchase from this company for a family photo guide. Without my knowledge, the company has been charging me for the past 2 months for a $49/month subscription that I NEVER authorized. Looking at the other bad reviews on Revdex.com it looks like my complaint is not a new one - but I'm honestly furious they've done this, to me or anyone else! I e-mailed Cole's Classroom but there is NO guarantee of them responding to your e-mail after you've submitted it, and their customer service section on their site wasn't helpful at all. I've called my Credit Card company for a dispute and they are working on it... needless to say, STAY AWAY!!!

Hi ***, it's Cole. I am so sorry for your negative experience however we do go to great lengths to ensure that everyone who chooses to opt-in for a 10 day trial to Cole's Classroom Pro fully understands when the trial is over and that the membership will auto-renew if you choose not to cancel.
We clearly state the expectations and terms in multiple places.
1. At the time of purchase
2. In your welcome and login emails
3. In a text message.
I personally reviewed your account and see we texted you the day you signed up on 11/9.
Here's the text:
Hey ***,thanks for becoming a Cole's Classroom Pro member! To login go to https://colesclassroom.com/members/ with username: (deleted for privacy) & password: (deleted for privacy). When you login, make sure to click education then "backstage pass" which is our newest featured monthly training series where you go behind the scenes on a REAL shoot. Instead of $30/mo just for this - you get it free! As a reminder your trial ends Sunday, November 18th & will auto renew into the full membership if still active.
Once again, I am sorry for your experience but we make every attempt to be forthright about the expectations as cited and shown above.

I love Cole’s classroom pro I’ve been a member for just about 1 year and it has helped me tune up on digital photography as I was trained in film some adjustments needed to be made ??
I am shocked to see the comments below, as it was blatantly clear to me that if I signed up the the 10day trail I would be charged after that. These people clearly did not read beyond and are like all of us that tap the I agree box without reading it ... I just don’t get pissed at the company for lack of effort

Scam. When I did one time purchase of presets collection - they gave me a "gift" of 10 days "trial" of their Pro Membership. After that they started to charge 49$ a month for renewal. It was never clear for me as I see such practice first time. I never used or planned to use their membership and it is impossible to return 100$ which was charged back.

Hi ***, this is Cole. I am sorry for any confusion! We do state that on Day 11 you will be auto-renewed if you don't cancel beforehand. We even include that in bold on our email with your login info. I am sorry for your experience with us.

Avoid. This is not a company that uses undesirable selling practices. I wish I had read some of the reviews online before I purchased anything from them.

I purchased the Mini Sessions Made Easy Bundle for $40 from the Cole?s Classroom website. Without my permission and unknown to me they added a product called Cole's Classroom Pro $1 Trial (10 Days) for a $1.00. This product is a subscription service that charges $49 to your card every month after the 10 day trial period expires. This information was communicated at point of sale.

I was oblivious to the fact that I had been sold this subscription service as all communications coming from Cole?s Classroom after my initial purchase of Mini Sessions Made Easy Bundle were being directed to my spam mail folder. I will let you decided whether you believe that was the intent of Cole?s Classroom. I have my own views.

It wasn?t until seven months later I was looking at my credit card statement and I noticed debits totally $343. I wrote to Cole?s Classroom to complain and to request a refund. They offered $196 in cash and $250 worth of Cole?s Classroom content and service.

I browsed through their content and found nothing above and beyond what I current get with CreativeLive and Udemy. I wrote back to Cole?s Classroom to request a full refund. The owner Cole refused to give me a full refund. Apparently their refund policy does not allow refunds and they made an exception when they refund $196 of the total amount they covertly took from me.

My advice to any considering using their services is to stay clear.

Hi ***, this is Cole. I am sorry for your experience however there are some errors in your message above that I'd like to address.
We do offer a trial at the time of sale on our other products but it is a checkbox that the user must check the box to "opt-in" for the trial, it is not something we are able to, or would ever, opt you in without your consent. On that page it also states the terms of the trial, including when your trial is over, that you'll be auto-charged for the program and that there are no refunds.
In terms of your email going to spam, once again, that is absolutely something we have ZERO control over. Not to mention, makes no sense why we'd pay over $1,000 each month for email to choose to have it go to spam folders.

BUYER BEWARE-Cole's classroom is a SCAM! Do NOT buy anything from it. I have never seen such deceptive practices from a business before. Not only do they inundate your inbox with email after email, they use bait and switch practices to lure you in and then snag you and steal your money. I made the mistake of buying a service from them; some light room presets, which were marketed as a 'mother's day special.' As I made my purchase, I kept getting pop up screens with other 'deals' or 'offers' that were only good this one time. So once I made it through that gauntlet and made my purchase I thought every thing was fine and I was only being charged 4.99. Nope! Apparently, somewhere along the way a box was checked that said I 'agreed' to join his membership by paying 1 cent which then gave me a 10 day trial. No where in the email inviting me to make this 'great purchase' was it mentioned I would be obligated to join a membership. In fact, the only time you see this is when the screen pops up and you choose to (which I DID NOT). Then, in my invoice (which I didn't check until today) does it mention it. So after 10 days of a free trial membership, which I didn't even know I had, I have now been charged $50.00 and have been sent a congratulatory email for my decision to better my pictures and join an elite class of people who have also chosen (read: forced) to join. I did not sign anything or give authorization for them to continue to charge my card, yet they did. Such shady and dishonest business practices. Which leads one to believe that if a business or person is resorting to these types of practices to drum up business, then the goods or services this company or person is offering must be garbage! Let the BUYER BEWARE!!!
I have reached out and requested a refund, but do not believe it will happen.

Hi ***, its Cole. There's nothing about us that is a scam, the customer must check the box to opt-in for a trial offer which you admittedly did. We email the explicit terms and expectations and state when the trial is over at which time you'll be charged. You are free to cancel whenever - I'm sorry that you didn't cancel in time and got charged for something you didn't want to utilize.

Cole’s Classroom seems like a scam. They make you pay $1 and say that’s all you have to pay. They never mention that they will charge you $50 when your trial is up. They will send you an email later but never clarify this in the beginning.
