I once paid ONE $ for some photography lesson...and a few weeks later, was charged $68 ....for nothing! I never authorized any withdrawal from my bank account. A total scam!

This is a rip of. They charge you $1 and they try multiple other attempts. Do not buy anything from this company

Hi there, I am sorry for your frustration. I see that you opted-in to our 10 day trial for our program during your recent purchase. On that page we indicate that after the trial period you will be auto-enrolled in the program if you do not cancel beforehand and we also send emails indicating this. I have spoken with our Customer Support team and asked them to manually cancel your account.

It is a real scam watch out carefully, I would never buy a thing from them as soon as you do watch your statement you are signed up for bogus $50 charges!

I do see that our customer support team has given you a full refund and also manually cancelled your account.

This company was not very clear when it asked for a 1 dollar charge on a credit card for a 30 day try-out of their class. Unfortunately, the 1 Dollar they charged on your card allowed them to later charge 49.00 on that same credit card, without your consent.

They have now tried twice to charge my card again, and I am now fighting the latest charge. What has happened to civility in theses days and ages?.

On that page we indicate that after the trial period you will be auto-enrolled in the program if you do not cancel beforehand and we also send emails indicating this. I do see that our customer support team has reached out to you twice with cancellation and refund options, but have not received a reply from you. As such, I have personally requested that they manually cancel your account and process your refund.

You're reading the same story here. Classic bait and switch. I purchased something for $1 and then was billed $49 each month until I noticed what they had done.

Very unhappy with the shady business practices here.

Hi there, I looked up your account and see that you opted in to our 10-day trial to Cole's Classroom Pro during your recent order. I also see your email to our team asking specifically for your "login information for the 10 day trial" which indicates to me that you were aware of the trial for which you signed up. On the sales page we indicate that after the trial period, you will be auto-enrolled in the program if you do not cancel beforehand and we also send emails indicating this, as well as a text message for new enrollees. I do see that our customer support team has given you a full refund and also manually cancelled your account.

I bought a $5 cloth from them and suddenly I?m getting charged 50 a month! Such a shady deceptive business!

DO NOT EVER GIVE COLE'S YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.
I paid $5 for a family posing guide. The offer required me to cancel within 10 days by logging into my account and canceling the subscription, otherwise I would be charged $49 monthly. I logged into my account within the required 10 day period however there was no subscription listed on my account to cancel. When I subsequently received a $49 charge on my credit card, I did an online chat with Shane M *** who promised a full refund and no additional charges (I have the full chat transcript). I did not receive a refund and the charges continued. I requested a refund AGAIN via their online email form. I am waiting to see what they do.
Given the difficulty getting them to stop charging DO NOT EVER GIVE COLE'S YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. They make it very difficult to get a refund and stop charging!

There are no charges on your account and your membership has been cancelled.

I ordered a cloth for my camera lenses and I remember UNCLICKING the subscribe for $1 button , but when I checked my bank account it showed that I was charged $49 for the subscription for Cole's Classroom. I am a college student who can't pay rent on time because he took my money and won't give me a refund. I hardly ever buy anything for myself but I did because it was only $5 and now I'm out $50. Awful customer service and business all around.

Sorry for any confusion however the trial add-on that you purchased is already UNCHECKED by default and the only way to opt-in and add the trial is for the customer to check the box.

As someone else has stated Cole's classroom has a deceptive check out process that is bait-and-switch. I only bought the one item that he was advertising and 10 days later I get billed $49 that I did not agree to or sign up for.

As a fellow photographer I would think he would have a better business practice than doing some shady deal like a late-night info commercial.

If my money is no refunded by 4-1-19 I will be filing civil suit in Virginia against Cole's Classroom.

Hello, the trial that you purchased had the terms available for you at the time of you signing up for the 10 day trial. We do our best to ensure that proper expectations are set and even sent you both an email and text outlining the terms and how to cancel if you do not want to be a member. There is nothing bait and switch about this. I have personally reviewed your case and see our support team has already worked directly with you to resolve.

Cole's classroom has given me the courage to learn and get out there and do what I love. It is well worth it!!!

In day one of ten, I'm all in. I usually like in-person learning, but Cole's Classroom by far helped me to grasp an understanding on topics that I didn't with other in-person-learning classrooms. Where do I begin....from Cole....to the mentors.....to communicating with like minded and still learning photographers like myself.....to the many classroom learning platforms and learning tools....there's such a wealth of information everywhere. Cole's Classroom is a photography learning candy store paradise for anyone just wanting to take pictures as a hobby to establishing their photography profession. I love the community, camaraderie, how we push, inspire and influence each other. I feel at home and never before felt more welcome to a place that treats learning as true growth for everyone. Everything is at your own pace and on top of that I don't have to deal with the rush of a know-it-all who either doesn't really want to share information or think you can just pick up what they've been doing for years in two seconds. I'd recommend Cole's Classroom to any and everyone in a heartbeat. Best money ever spent on my learning journey thus far!

I joined Cole's Classroom over a year and a half ago, and since then, have not only renewed my membership for year 2, but also recommended CC to other friends who have watched my photography improve.

"What classes are you taking?" they asked.

"Cole's Classroom," I told them. "Go check it out. There are tutorials for everything from shooting in manual, to lighting to posing to advertising. There are mentors who will answer any question you have, and they have a crazy-active FB community.

I also LOVE the Hey Ned booking/billing software because it's user-friendly and makes the paperwork part of my business look as professional as my portraiture.

Cole is not just a name on the title, he's an active member on the FB page and always asking what they can do to improve the company. "What do you all want/need?" he'll ask us.

The two times, I contacted customer service, I got a response that day or the next and the problem was solved.

Cole's Classroom is a thoughtful, personal, professional photography educational service and as I said, I recommend them to my friends.

Coles Classroom is a great resource. There is so much to learn. They continuously adding current classes & there is so much more in the vault. Im a beginner photographer and find it so helpful. I work full time as an art director, and i'm trying to learn photography in my spare time. Coles provides so much from marketing, lightroom, photoshop, tons of photography classes & more. There is so much there to learn, its so worth it. Now I just need the time.

I’ve been in th CC group since November 2018. I have found all of the mentors to be very responsive and helpful. The tutorials available are great - I booked almost 2k worth of shoots after redesigning my ads based on their tutorials. The *** group is also a very supportive place and great community!

I did the $1.00 advertisement around Christmas time. Sadly I called to cancel because I was so sure I would get so busy with Christmas and forget to cancel if I didn’t like it and therefore be stuck with a monthly bill and a program that did not help my business and skills as a photographer. Cancelling was so super simple by the way! But boy was I wrong!!! I did get a chance to look at the classes and content and quickly contacted Coles Classroom to reinstate my membership! The content and access to so many educational instructions, guidance and classes helped my business and photography skills immensely. I am so so grateful to be a member of tis awesome group!

If you are looking for help with starting a photography business or simply learning to take better photos, Cole's Classroom is such a great investment! You can easily try it out with a $1 trial that lasts for 10 days. This is how I got started with Cole's Classroom about 1.5 years ago. Cole's Classroom has a ton of resources to help you learn to use a DSLR, as well as tons of other photography equipment, to take better pictures. There are online courses that you can work through at your own pace and tons of shorter tutorials to help you learn one aspect of something. There are videos of on-location photo shoots so you can see a pro in action, a monthly newsletter, and regular breakout sessions focusing on specific business related topics. There is also a Facebook group which is an amazing community of people who are so willing to help with any questions or issues you may have. And a mentor team of successful photographers who are such a great resource to answer any questions or help with guidance. All of these resources are so worth the money for this service! Since starting with Cole's Classroom I have started a photography business and using the techniques that I learned from Cole and the mentor team I have had a lot of success with getting clients and building my business. I now have the skills, it is just up to me to get to work and be better!
I see a lot of people here mentioning that they were charged and tricked. I felt that it was very clear that if I did not cancel within those 10 days I would begin being charged for a monthly membership. This is no different than any other subscription based program!! Do these people also write bad reviews for Amazon when their free trial of Amazon music is up and they don't cancel? Or how about when their year of free HBO is up and they are now paying a monthly charge on their cable bill? There is nothing tricky or scamming about it, that is how subscriptions and free trials work!

I have been a member of CC for about a year now. I joined as a way to learn photography and join a community of photographers from different walks of life. I've learned a lot already. CC has a ton of resources from presets to prompt and posing guides to building a business from scratch tutorials. There are mentors that take time out of their lives to help members out with various reviews. The Facebook and Instagram pages are full of regular members that all help each other out in some way and even meet up on occasion. This is not a scam. You get what you put into it. I was fully aware that, after the $1 webinar and 10 day trial, I would be charged full price on the 11th day. This is NOT news and should not be a shock to anyone. The support team has helped me almost immediately in the past when I had an issue. For every bad review, there are 500 people who are happy with the service. Please take the time to read the full disclosure before you sign up. Why wouldn't you take the time to know where you're money is going?

Cole, as in the head of the company, has personally helped me when I posted a problem I was having to ***. This was after I contacted the customer service team to try and troubleshoot my issue and they were unable to resolve it. I posted to the *** Cole's Classroom group and he, along with several other mentors, helped me out! I'm grateful that this company, event though they serve thousands of people, have such a strong customer service response in the leadership tier, and don't just shuffle all the 'administrative' work to lesser employees and expect them to figure it out. it's fabulous to be able to have access to the person who runs the company, that he not only sells and represents his work and teaching, but he lives it and is intimately involved in the work at every level.
The level of education and knowledge in the website with the membership is incredible and quite voluminous. I have been following Cole's classroom since it was Cole's clique and I've been impressed to see it grow so much that I finally took the risk to invest in my business and in what he & his team have to offer and I have been pleasantly surprised. There is so much content that I ended up going with an annual subscription because after working with it for a few months I knew there was no way I was going to be able to get through all of it in any less time.
I appreciate their efforts, their calm style of education, their growth mindset and can-do attitudes, and accessibility.

Cole?s Classroom is the best investment I have ever made in myself and my photography. I watched the webinar and did the free trial and I was immediately hooked. There is so much amazing content that comes with a Cole?s Classroom Pro membership and the community of members and mentors is absolutely amazing. Every time I have a question or issue there is a video, or an article, or a resource I can download and there is a person who has experienced what I am who will do their best to help me. If you are looking to improve your photography and maybe even turn it into a business like I was, this is an amazing place to start.

The negative reviews here are completely stupid and the customers fault. Cole?s Classroom is an incredible place with incredible education and incredible mentors. I have enjoyed every second of my membership and everyone I know has commented on how my photography has improved. All of my improvement is due to Cole?s classroom and the incredible people involved with it. So if you don?t want a supportive and encouraging environment with incredible education, then don?t get it. I wanted and needed these things, that?s why I stay!
