[redacted] this is a bold face lie from them I agreed to show them the transaction he said they don't give refunds , that's when I asked him why would he need to come out to my house to see my paper work if you don't give refunds. and  I told him I followed your polices and if I don't get my refund I will take them to court.

This is a previous complaint.  She is a very nice lady and understands what we have been facing since we have been under new management.  I explained to her that we are on top of it and that we will schedule a time to see her by days end.

Response to complaint # [redacted]To Whom it May Concern:I have attached the contract that was signed August 5th, 2014 between the customer and Columbia Exteriors, LLC for the amount of $16,369 with a deposit of $1,000.  As you can see this contract has nothing about pending...

credit approval.  We did submit her credit application and was able to get her approved for 8.5% which we called and notified her.  She then wanted additional work so we sent our representative back out to her home and wrote up another agreement in the amount of $22,571.  She wanted to get her own financing for the second agreement so we did not ask for a deposit.  I have also attached that agreement which is dated August 28th,  2014.The customer was contacted on several occasions and was told selections will start once she is approved for the loan she applied for in order for her to get the additional work done.The customer contacted us on September 29th, 2014 to inform us that she did not get approved for the additional money for the second project and she had decided to cancel.There is a three day rescission period once the contract is signed where a customer can cancel.  This never happened.We feel that she is responsible for the first agreement and did not cancel in the time that is necessary so we will not refund her $1000.00.We would like to start the selection process and get this project completed for her.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly.Traci B[redacted]Marketing Director###-###-####

I have spoken with [redacted] twice and told her that I would get back with her and let her know a date and time when they (Columbia) could come out and look at the remodel and we would discuss what can be done.  I fully intend to let them know when my schedule is free and they can come out and look at the issues we have with their remodel of our bathroom.  It has not even been a full week since I last spoke with her and I intend to call sometime this week, (the week of 3/16/2014).   We have been patient with them so I would think they could give us a few days to get back with them.  We fully intend to see what they have to say when they come to our home and look at the mistakes that were made.

There was an issue with the initial tile install.  The tile did not line up properly and some was not level.  While the project was ongoing we discovered this issue and corrected it.  While it was being corrected the grout was drying differently than the first grout mix, and we...

alerted the homeowner to that issue, indicating we would address it, if it actually dried differently.   We completed the project and attempted to schedule the final walk through and collection, and the Mr. [redacted] refused.  At the time of collection he refused to schedule, saying he had issues.   We have attempted to resolve this through phone calls, and attempting to schedule meetings all to no avail.  Last week, before this complaint was processed we had already scheduled an appointment with the homeowner for Monday, February 24, 2014 at 11:00 am. 
Upon arrival Mr. [redacted] was incredibly rude and demeaning to myself ([redacted]; and [redacted], Production Manager.  Based on the way he was interacting with us, even refusing to allow us in before he demeaned us in the front entrance, we elected to leave.  I believe the only issue that could exist is the grout color may be different.  I also believe that the Wilzbachs are only attempting to avoid payment, and as a result will turn this over to our attorney today.

Columbia Kitchens and Bath  had a date set with me to perform "stage 1" of a job as agreed upon with the general manager.
I took the day off from work;  Business failed to show up on the date agreed upon, and there was serious lack of
communication before and after.  Business has failed me once, which is one too many.

The company did not tell me it would take 2 weeks or more before they contacted me. I was told I would get a "welcoming call", which I assumed would be shortly after they deposited my down payment check. I have been substantially frustrated regarding my purpose for entering into the contract. No one has called me yet, so I feel like I am not being treated like a client. I got an email saying they will call me next week, in other words, "don't call us, we'll call you", which is no way to do business. I do not wish to do business with this company and I am asking for the contract to be voided and my deposit refunded. [redacted]
