We had a great experience with Comfort Master Heating and AirOur home is years old and it was time to replace our old furnaces and unitsWe contacted Comfort Master and [redacted] came out to assess our needsHe provided quality feedback and responded to questions promptly via email and phoneHe was very professional and personableIt did take a little time for actual installation, but our need was in the heat of summer when having air conditioning is in high demandFortunately, we had one unit that was operational and we were able to manage until our installation day [redacted] and [redacted] were our two service technicians and they were fantastic! They arrived on time to our home and worked diligently for two days (one day per unit)The first day was hot, but they perseveredThe second day was toughThey were up in the attic for hours in sweltering temperaturesThey did not disappointAll members of the Comfort Master team***, [redacted] and [redacted] were kind, respectful, and extremely hardworkingWe are now enjoying comfortable temperatures with our new Trane units! Comfort Master Heating & Air staff and technicians are the best We are members of the Comfort Club, so our preventive maintenance visits twice a year are automatically scheduled The technicians are knowledgeable and thorough Last time the tech - [redacted] - allowed me to observe and ask questions This is a good company and we feel our AC is well taken care of

It's rare that you find professionalism, integrity, and kindness in one service company (especially when you call on them during an emergency where they can get away with almost anything unethical or unpleasant) I was fortunate to find all three in Comfort Master I had just returned from a day vacation to find that Raleigh was in the grips of a heat waveThe friend that was housesitting for me had mentioned in a text that the first floor of my home was unusually warm, but she did not tell me that the downstairs HVAC system was only putting out warm air As I had another friend with me who was also staying the weekend, I seriously needed to get the system fixed ASAPUnfortunately, every company that I called that guaranteed "emergency" service meant either they were open late so I could schedule an appointment for a few days later or they would come out within hours - if I was willing to pay double the service rateNo thank you I found Comfort Master on Angie's List and first of all, the receptionist was extremely professional and niceIn this day and age, you're lucky to get one or the other because not all receptionists can manage both at the same time She told me all of their agents were on service calls at the time but she could have someone out to me within four hoursAdditionally, the price quote she gave me was for the rateThey were the only company I called that were not price gouging by either inflating the amount of the service call or the hourly rate for the work It turns out that [redacted] called me within two hours but unfortunately, I missed his call because I forgot my phone was on silentLuckily, a friend reminded me to check my phone and I saw his messageWhen I called back, the receptionist said she would try to catch him before he went on another call and, thankfully, she didShe advised me he would be there in minutesI asked my friends to let him in if he got there before I finished showering and changingWell, by the time I got ready he had arrived and was finished with his inspection and ready to get to work on the repairAfter he told me what was wrong and I approved the repair, he got to workThe repair didn't take long at allWhen he finished, he gave me a lot of excellent information on how to prolong the life of my system and as a bonus, he was hysterical! He had all three of us laughing until we cried! I can't recommend this company highly enough!

I chose Comfort Master to service my HVAC because my daughter recommended themI wanted a business which would service my system twice a year preceding the hottest and the coldest times of the yearI have a prepaid contract with them and am pleased with their recommendations The technician [redacted] called before coming and wore shoe covers before entering the house He installed a surge protector to my outside unit and performed a thorough examination of the whole system/throughout, he was courteous and efficient

Comfort Master did a flawless job all the way from delivering a timely and detailed quote to completing the installation in an absolutely perfect manner When receiving the quote, I could tell from talking with ***, my sales rep, that this is an honest and upright company which is intently concerned with doing right by their customers The price was reasonable, the proposal was drawn up based on extensive and careful measurements taken, and I was pleased to be informed about a $rebate that was available to me And today, the installation was done flawlessly and with equal attention to detail, thanks to the diligence of the lead installer [redacted] What a delightful company to deal with! I highly recommend Comfort Master to anyone wanting to purchase a new Trane system

We recently needed to replace our A/C gas pack unit We wanted to get several quotes but still move as quickly as possible We recently moved from the northeast to North Carolina and were just not prepared for the reality of July in NC without an A/C! [redacted] from Comfort Master was able to come out the same day we called, review our setup, recommend several options in writing and answer all of my questions That night he emailed me several more options based on his re-review of our square footage, to suggest that we really should have a smaller unit which would be more efficient, and less expensive to buy and to run He easily could have told us to replace what we had with the same size unit I was impressed that he cared enough to not just sell us an AC, but sell us the right one for our needs After getting several other quotes, we decided on Comfort Master [redacted] came back to sign the paperwork once again the same day, but working around my schedule and arranged for the install within a few days [redacted] & [redacted] from Comfort Master installed my new gas pack AC unit this week They were so professional and very pleasant to deal with They arrived on time, removed every trace of the old unit, installed the new unit and removed all of the packaging Before they left they explained everything that they had done outside and how to use the new smart thermostat installed inside They were respectful and polite during the entire process and willing to take the time to answer all of my questions I was very pleased with their service and would recommend Comfort Master to anyone shopping for a new AC unit [***] just came back a third time to check on things and help me set up my smart thermostat AS with the prior meetings, he called first, arrived right on time, was very organized and profession and such a pleasure to work with [redacted] made this whole process easy and stress-free I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Comfort Master and would definitely recommend them to everyone looking for a new AC We will be joining the Comfort Club maintenance plan and look forward to working with Comfort Master in the future
