Thank you  ]April 13, 2018To:    ConServe / ATTN: Crystal [redacted]         [redacted]         [redacted]         [redacted]Re:    ID #: [redacted]Aloha Crystal, Thank you for your response to my complaint. I appreciate your apology, on ConServe's behalf, for neglecting to address my concerns before I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Thank you also for confirming that I am not currently enrolled, nor will I be enrolled, in a recurring payment / auto-pay program with ConServe.Given the terms of the U.S. Department of Education Rehabilitation Agreement that I signed on February 15, 2018, I understand that:1) My payments of $280 began on March 5, 2018, and I must make 9 consecutive, full, timely, voluntary payments within the current 10-month period in order to successfully complete the program2) Once I've successfully completed the program, my student loan debt will be transferred from ConServe (a debt collection company) to an official U.S. Department of Education loan servicer 3) Once I've successfully completed the program, I must continue to make monthly payments to the Department of Education until I am notified in writing by the Dept of Education's loan servicer to whom my debt was transferred that I am to begin making monthly payments directly to the servicer4)) Once I've successfully completed the program, my student loan debt will be taken out of default statusAssuming I will successfully complete the program with 9 payments as described above, points #2, #3 and #4 are due to occur on or near November 5, 2018 or December 5, 2018, based on if I take 9 months or 10 months to complete the program. There is a significant difference between: 1) 9 consecutive monthly payments of $280.00 to ConServe, which fulfills the requirements of the loan rehabilitation program, and...2) 34 payments of $280.00 to ConServe... or, as you wrote in your letter dated April 9, 2018, that ConServe recommends 36 months of payments. Please help me understand the following:Why would ConServe recommend that 36 monthly payments be made to ConServe for a program that only requires 9 or 10 monthly payments to successfully complete? Thank you for your time and for providing me with an answer to my question.Sincerely, [redacted]

This is my reply. I hope it can be added. I'm just getting over pneumonia so I couldn't reply sooner. Conserves reply is so ridiculous and I am so disappointed in their lack of professionalism....

Their reply just does not make sense. I have faxed this over to Rory [redacted] this morning as well.January 14, 2016 Mr. Rory [redacted],I entered into a contract with Conserve for rehab in April 2015. At that time I confirmed my current phone number at that time (same number I have had since around 2005). So this letter stating you called in February of 2015 is inconsequential since it was before I entered into the rehab contract with you. Furthermore, I know for a fact that you have my correct number because when I call you, you already know who I am because of my number on your caller ID and it was confirmed with the person from Conserve I spoke to in November 2015 as well. I know you record your calls, you may want to listen to that call. The letter you wrote to the Revdex.com is completely ridiculous. Why would (I assume Joe [redacted]) decide not to call a number that was verified with him during the set up of the contract, that showed up on the Conserve caller ID when I called him (he already knew who I was when I called) and is the contact number on the contract? And then wait until the rehab was almost complete (6 months later) to call my reference to get my number which you never even indicated was the reason for the call. Who knows what number you called in February of 2015 but why would that call supercede a contract that was set up three months later? So you have my phone number, my address and my email. You guys are completely unprofessional and if you do not want to honor your end of the contract that was set up in April with you, just stop debiting my account. You have all the info you need. If you choose not to use it and create problems that are unnecessary when I am trying to do the right thing and get out of default, there is nothing I can do.[redacted]

I want them to guarantee that my account will still be in good standing if accept the refund for September. If they refund the full amount and then I pay the agreed amount of 104, will that keep my account in good standing?

The business has responded to the complaint however has requested that their response not be published

Conserve failed to admit their wrongdoing and refuses to remove the account from my credit reports despite paying the amount.
