Very poor customer service response and not making good on promising to call back regarding issues with a bill I received my bill for the current month, shocked to find it doubled what is ($more than usual) I called on 12/27/to attempt to figure out where the extra charges are coming from The gentleman I spoke to put me on hold but could not seem to find where the charges were coming from, so told me he was going to look into it and get back to me that day On 12/28, after not hearing back from him, I called again After speaking to someone who also could not seem to assist me in understanding these charges I asked to speak to a supervisor (Michelle P from the Michigan call center) She too seemed confused by the charges, other than being able to tell me that they were trcharges (the difference between what we paid in budget billing and the cost of what we actually used in electricity) She told me she was going to create a spread-sheet, email it to me

On November 11, I called [redacted] to change the supplier of both my gas and electric accounts from Constellation Energy back to [redacted] I was informed by [redacted] that I needed a cancellation number from Constellation, and once I received that to call backI called Constellation and received two cancellation numbers, one for gas and one for electricI called [redacted] back and provided them the requested cancellation numbers and was told everything was all set and my service provider would now be switched back to [redacted] Today, December 22, receive a gas bill which shows Constellation as my service providerI called [redacted] and was told on their end everything was recorded correctly and I cancelled Constellation back on 11/17/They informed me I had to call Constellation because they didn't cancel my account and recommended I file a Revdex.com complaintI called Constellation back and explained the situationConstellation t

Constellation energy charged me on my gas bill without ever taking my consent for my people's gas account.I want their amount taken out front my bill Constellation energy charged me on my gas bill and put themselves as my supplier and charged my gas billThey added their charge onto my people's gas bill account number XXXXXXXXXXXXX for the month of January and February without ever taking my permission or having me sign any contractThey send some sales rep over my house and made my mom sign something when the actual people's gas account is in my name not hersThey did not want to refund when I called them neither did they want to help

I was enrolled in Constellation New Energy Gas without my verbal or written consent I was greatly surprised and dismayed upon receiving my local gas bill to note that I had been enrolled in Constellation I do not know this company and I have never had any affiliation with them I did telephone them to cancel any enrollment They said they would unenroll me, however, this would take up to billing periods Since their rates are HIGHER than my local rates, they receive a profit from me, again, without my consent This is a fraudulent profit as it is obtained without my consent to enroll I am submitting this complaint to warn others I hope that Revdex.com of Kentucky, etc., will note this Company in their District as practicing illegal enrollment techniques Product_Or_Service: Natural gas distribution

Trying to set up an account online and can not reach anyone hello anyone home??>??? Sales Rep came to my door & asked to switch I said no because I would incur two termination fees from current supplier but was told they were waived In May of the representative came to my door & I told him no because I would incur termination fees (one for $for thermometer) & one for $ He stated those fees can be waived & proceeded to make a call & handed me the phone for the waiver confirmation Saturday April 30, I received a notice from a collection Agency stating I owed Direct Energy $ I contacted Direct Energy and they said it was the early termination fee & thermostat fee incurred in May of I questioned them why I did not receive any bills from them & went to a collection agency and they said they did not know, otherwise I would have tried to resolve it then & I would have to resolve it through Constellation I called Constellation spoke to Rosa in the Complaint Department & she explained they are not responsible for termination fees th

Never signed up for service but being billed for it Constellation Energy had sales people go door to door signing people up for the energy services. We never signed up or changed our electric service. Monthly electric bill reflects charges from Constellation Energy. Our electric bill has doubled since they have been charging for service we never signed up for. On 07/27/2016 I contacted Constellation Energy and informed them I never signed up for their services I want it disconnected immediately. I was informed that I would be charged a $50 termination fee. I asked how can they charge that fee when we never signed up for their services. No explanation was given. My cancel service & confirmation #XXXXXXXX. I asked for a copy of the contract with my signature on it and was told that they don't have access to that information. Startex keeps changing my electric rateI have had several issues with their billing inconsistency and them claiming internal error as a reason I had to accept that they made a mistake and my renewal date was really June 29th, which means I signed up for a renewal lateI renewed on the 30h of July After I filed the complaint my account was switched to cents per month and that changed happened after I renewed and received paperworkEach time I log in to pay a bill they have changed my rate, I am supposed to be under contract for which is what I agreed to, I did not agree to I have enclosed a screenshot of the agreement

A guy in a blue shirt came knocking on my door, I thought it was another salesman, and I have a NO SOLICITING sign clearly posted on my screen door. I told the guy to keep moving, but he assured me he wasn't selling anything. I was curious at this point thinking he was here for a legitimate reason. He explained to me that he was with Constellation Energy and he wanted to qualify me for a stable rate that I pay for my energy. Asked me to show him a recent statement and he could check to see if I qualified, which I did. I use about 1000 KWH a month and all you need to use is 300. He offered a stable rate for gas and electric both, and both rates were lower than what BGE was charging. The offer included a 3 year contract where my rates stay the same for 3 years, a 90 day risk-free guarantee where in those 90 days if I decided I did not like this contract, I could cancel free and clear. So I went ahead and signed up. On my next billing cyvle, my bill was about 50 bucks cheaper than it usually was. That winter my gas bill didn't go through the roof like I was expecting. I'm now in my 2nd year of the contract, and still my bill is lower than it originally was, and I can almost guess what my bill will be....within 20 bucks. I'm honestly glad this guy came and explained what Constellation does. I don't know why people claim they're getting royaly screwed over. All I can say is make sure they have an agent badge with a Rep ID #. This guy wrote his down along with his name and number. Not everyone who comes to your door is bad.
