In October I used Cordell and Cordell for my divorce in Chicago IL I used my Mother's (*** ***) credit card to pay my retainer and monthly expensesIn May I emailed my lawyer (*** ***) to tell him Cordell and Cordell were no longer authorized to use my Mother's credit card My lawyer acknowledged and emailed me a form to sign I emailed the signed form back to him and my lawyer again acknowledged it
Cordell and Cordell charged the credit card in October for $ I spoke to their billing department in Saint Louis by phone in October I reminded them that they were not authorized to used that credit card They refused to reverse the charges In October my mother had the charges reversed I called Cordell and Cordell on November and informed them I would pay the remaining $on December (I spoke to *** ***) I asked Ms*** to have the billing department call me and confirm this was acceptable The billing department did

Stay away from this companyThey will rip you off for whatever you have, not clearly explaining informationThey use templates to fill out your documents, and charge you for hours of workA lot of hidden fees, or overchargingI had to review invoices multiple times and was offered "some" money backI went through invoices again, with proof, and was told I would not receive any compensationThey nickel and dime you to death, and you'll end up paying triple the costs if you go with another firm, AND get minimal in return from their attorney
