I am a retired member of the military and I chose Cordell & Cordell because their website and commercials claimed that they specialized in family military lawI found out that is NOT TUREWhen the decree of divorce was being drafted, the military wording was sent to a third party that supposedly specialized in this area, again NOT TRUE
After sending my divorce decree to the Defense Finance and Accounting office, the wording for the military portion is out dated and they will no longer accept it that way
If you claim to specialize in an area, you should know when something is outdatedAfter finding out that the divorce decree is useless as far as the military is concerned I contacted the attorney and her response was to contact the third party group and they can fix it for $
Hosently, I feel like is was just scammedHow much of a kickback does the attorney get if I am FORCED to use this third party group to correct her mistake?
If you are military please, avoid this firmThey have no idea how to handle military family law and it will cost you more money to correct their mistakes
In my opinion Cordell & Cordell falsely represented their firm ripping off military personnel and veterans
