Community Choice Financials owns Check SmartOn 06/15/I had asked Community Choice Financial for an extended payment arrangement for a check due on 06/16/and was advised that they could set it up for meI was advised to wait until Monday 06/18/or Tuesday 06/19/so that the check would come into the office so that they could set it upI advised the collector that the check would run through my bank and overdraft my account if I did soThe collector assured me that he could stop the check from being deposited on his end, and that the check would definitely arrive in his office no later than Tuesday 06/19/This was a lie, and the check went through my bank and overdrafted my account Community Choice Financial advised me that they would refund my account and the overdraftsThey advised me to email them online banking statements and I didThen they said that they needed statements from my bank and I sent those tooI was accessed a $overdraft on 06/18/

Cash Central showed up as a loan on my credit report and I had never heard of themThey say I took out a $loan from them with and interest rate of 181%They would have known it was not me if they had gotten a credit report as they would have seen that I have no need of a high interest loan and live in New Mexico, not Utah as the loan information statesI have no other problems with identity theft and have excellent creditThis is either gross incompetence or some sort of fraud by Cash Central employees I contacted Cash Central and they have been far less than helpfulIt is their responsibility to confirm the identity of their borrowers and they need to correct this mistake

I've contacted them multiple times to pay my bill off. I was told twice it was at 'another agency? now, and given a number to call. The number given, had no record or me or my account. In the meantime my account collected interest. I was told there is strict TN laws that forbid settlements, meanwhile it's accumulated interest!
